Earlier this week, WWE announced WrestleMania 37 will be held at the brand new SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. Stephanie McMahon took part in a press conference in Los Angeles Tuesday morning and spoke about what and who she hopes to see at the big event next year.
“We’re always talking to Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson and hoping he’s gonna come back,” Stephanie said when asked if WWE hopes the Rock will be part of the event. “Sometimes it pans out and sometimes it doesn’t but we’re always talking.”
“I think the Rock is the perfect example of what happens when WWE and Hollywood come together so I hope he’ll be a part of it but I can’t promise anything,” she added.
As for Ronda Rousey, McMahon is also hoping to see a return of the former RAW Women’s Champion at WrestleMania 37.
“I sincerely hope we have Ronda Rousey back for WrestleMania here at SoFi only I don’t want to be the one facing her in the ring,” McMahon joked. “It didn’t work out so well for me last time, I think I’ll let her do her own thing.”
“In all seriousness, I hope so,” McMahon later added about Rousey. “I think she’s very serious about coming back. I think she has some things in her personal life that she wants to do and when the time is right she’ll be back, I have no doubt about that.”
McMahon’s comments can be heard in the player below:
We last saw Ronda Rousey in the WWE ring when she lost to Becky Lynch in the main event of WrestleMania 35 in 2019. Since then, there has been no indication from the former UFC star about her return to the squared circle, until now.
The Royal Rumble just concluded a few days ago and Rousey’s fans speculated that she might make a return on the pay-per-view event. That didn’t happen, and Rousey even went on Twitter to troll the fans who were expecting her return.
After the Royal Rumble, Rousey also went on the WWE podcast After The Bell with Corey Graves, and there she was asked about when she will make her return to wrestling. Rousey said that she’ll make her return if WWE lets her appear just on the live shows. She added that she misses wrestling at the live shows.
“Probably, whenever the hell I feel like it. If they would just let me show up at live events, probably very soon,” Rousey said.
Rousey said that she liked live shows better because she wouldn’t get her hair and makeup done during them and she prefers the laidback backstage environment of a live show.
“I love the camaraderie and the kind of laidback feeling of live show days. Jump in the car afterwards and go to the next town. Never being able to find food and eating beef jerky all night. I miss that.”
NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley was mentioned by Rousey a couple of times during the podcast, as Rousey said she would like to face Ripley if she returns to the WWE. Ronda Rousey is under contract with WWE until April 10, 2021, so we can expect her to make a return this year.
Shayna Baszler entered into the Royal Rumble on Sunday as the 30th entrant. She tossed out 8 other competitors before being the final elimination by Charlotte Flair. Baszler’s longtime training partner and 4 Horsewomen of MMA stablemate Ronda Rousey posted her reaction to Baszler’s performance on her official YouTube channel.
Ronda gets quite into the match. Video of her reaction can be viewed in the player below:
Ronda Rousey Responds To Royal Rumble Return Speculation
Rousey posted the following to her Twitter account after it was clear she would not be returning at the Rumble:
Rousey has said she’s pitched ideas to WWE about her return, however. In an interview with People, Rousey said she’s hoping to find a way to balance family and a WWE career.
“I think I need to figure out a different way of doing it. To be able to not have to choose career over family or family over career and kind of find that happy medium,” Rousey said.
“Right now, I think my family needs my undivided attention,” she continued. “I’m happy to give them that. But I’m trying to figure out a way or a system or somehow that I could give both my family and WWE the best of me and not be half-ass in both.”
This comes after Pwinsider.com reported on Saturday that there had been no talk of Rousey being there this weekend. It was noted that if the former WWE RAW Women’s Champion was working the show then it was being well hidden by management.
WWE’s shop website just added a new Rousey t-shirt this weekend for sale, which sparked speculation.
Rousey has been on hiatus from WWE as she was last seen at WrestleMania 35 following an incredible first-year run with the company.
At the time, the belief was that she would remain with the company going forward as an ambassador due to her still having years left on her current deal.
During her time away from WWE, she joined the cast of WWE’s reality series, Total Divas, that marked season 9 of the series.
Ronda Rousey and Travis Browne currently live on Browsey Acres, a sustainable ranch located in California. They recently posted a YouTube video of Rousey giving Jackass star Steve-O a tour of the ranch.
“We’re kicking off our smorgasbord of Steve-O content with Ronda and Trav giving the Jackass GOAT a tour of their sustainable farm Browsey Acres. He’s also working on some gnarly cauliflower ear,” a description of the video reads.
In addition to his acting and stunt work, Steve-O is a noted animal activist. He describes himself as a “bleeding heart veggie guy.”
“The entire tour features an interesting discussion on the ethics of meat and working towards a cruelty-free and healthier, self-sustaining lifestyle,” the description continues.
Rousey and Steve-O both talk about their attempts at a vegan diet and attitudes to sustainable agriculture in the video. It can be viewed in the player below:
In a previous video posted by Rousey, she talked about how WWE influenced her approach to her UFC career.
“I wanted to make women’s MMA take off and I was looking at what the women’s fights didn’t have that the men’s had,” Rousey said in the video. “Because women could have exciting fights but nobody gave a s**t and I was trying to figure out why nobody gave a s**t.”
Steve-O talked about his appearance on WWE RAW on the Joe Rogan experience below:
UFC President Dana White once famously said fans would never see women in the UFC. Then Ronda Rousey changed everything. Rousey recently published a video on her YouTube channel of her telling D-Von Dudley just how WWE influenced her during her UFC career.
“I wanted to make women’s MMA take off and I was looking at what the women’s fights didn’t have that the men’s had,” Rousey said in the video. “Because women could have exciting fights but nobody gave a s**t and I was trying to figure out why nobody gave a s**t.”
Rousey then used pro-wrestling terminology to illustrate why she felt nobody cared about women’s MMA at the time.
“It was because everyone was babyface,” Rousey said. “And there was no story and so I was like ‘all these girls need is a real heel.'”
D-Von then asked Rousey if the persona she was portraying at the time was influenced by pro-wrestling.
“100%,” Rousey said. “I was basically doing an impression of Roddy Piper with an impression of the Diaz brothers.”
D-Von then asked Rousey if not shaking Meisha Tate’s hand after their second fight was part of her building storylines in women’s MMA.
“No,” Rousey responded. “I started it just as a persona then she started making it personal so I was like ‘f**k that b**ch.'”
Rousey’s latest video can be viewed in the player below:
Ronda Rousey plans on returning to WWE but she is in no hurry. According to the former RAW Women’s Champion, the current women’s divisions in WWE are doing great and she is simply not needed at the moment.
“The girls are doing amazing right now,” Rousey said to People. “I really don’t think that I’m that necessary in what’s going on. I think they’re crushing it and I really did want to bring a spotlight to what they’re doing and let them stand in it. And I think it’s kind of better, they’re better off with me taking a step away right now, and kind of finding their stride without me.”
Rousey also said she’s hoping to find a way to both have a family and continue her WWE career, however.
Me and the girls are caught between celebrating one of our greatest accomplishments after the most girl powered #wrestlemania in history – and figuring out what’s next at the crossroads ahead. Don’t miss the @totaldivas finale Tuesday night 10/9c on E! @eentertainmentpic.twitter.com/s2MDvKr3h7
Rousey also said during the interview that she was apprehensive about appearing on Total Divas but is now glad she decided to take part.
“I hadn’t had very good experiences with reality television in the past, so I was really apprehensive in the beginning, and I was really hesitant to be involved,” Rousey said. “But you know, I gave everybody a chance and I’m so glad I did because I really feel like I’ve made some lifelong friendships because of it.”
Ronda Rousey made history with her WrestleMania main event
this year and the former Raw Women’s Champion has since taken time off from WWE
to focus on her family and have a baby.
This week’s episode of Total Divas covered Rousey’s WrestleMania match and her departure from WWE and in a new interview with E! Online, the former Champion provided an update on how things are going.
Ronda said that they are not trying to rush anything or put
pressure on themselves and she went on to explain that they are letting the
nature take its course:
“We’re just putting it out in the universe and letting
nature take its course and not trying to rush it or put any pressure on
ourselves, just kind of enjoy our time as a family together. Enjoying every day
and accepting it whenever it happens.”
Ronda Rousey made her WWE debut during WrestleMania 34 and
she went on to have a successful year with an undefeated streak and a 232 days
long reign with the Raw Women’s Championship.
Her run ended with main eventing WrestleMania 35 where she
competed in a Triple Threat match against the current champion Becky Lynch and
Charlotte Flair.
Apart from this, Ronda Rousey also talked about working on Total Divas, her time away from WWE and more. You can check out her full interview at this link.
Ronda Rousey has kept busy in her post-WWE life. In addition to acting roles and performing as a cast member on Total Divas, Rousey keeps her YouTube page active with videos of her various adventures.
In her latest video, Ronda travels with Travis Browne and her sister Julia to Yosemite and Oregon Lake. During the trip, Rousey and Browne decided to play a rather cruel prank on her sister.
“So apparently whenever Julia (Ronda’s sister) is sprinting for soccer, she sometimes sprints and it ends up being a sprint to the bathroom because whenever she sprints she feels like she’s got to take a s**t,” Ronda said. “So, Travis has made it his mission in life to make Julia sprint during this trip.”
Ronda Rousey Pranks Her Sister Julia
At around the 8-minute mark in the video, the camera flips on and Travis Browne is laughing pretty hard at something. It turns out Browne was successful in getting Julia to sprint.
“Sprint Julia sprint!” Browne evidently yelled during this experience.
It is unclear what the impact was on Julia’s digestive system. She explained to both Ronda and Travis that she wasn’t laughing, however, so they were not laughing “with her.”
Rousey also sings a song about tectonic plates and the many geographic features of the park during the video. Ronda and Julia lost their father at a young age. On the trip, they connected with their Uncle and also went to Oregon Lake where their father used to fish.
Lionsgate will release “The Ronda Rousey Story: Through My Father’s Eyes” November 19th through digital on-demand and streaming services. The film was originally supposed to be released in 2017 but was delayed.
The documentary features interviews with Dana White, “Judo” Gene LeBell, and several of Rousey’s training partners throughout the years.
“She changed the way that we look at women,” Dana White is quoted as saying in the film. “She changed the way that women look at themselves and she definitely changed the way little girls look at what’s possible.”
“If a woman can go in there and do what Ronda Rousey does, women can do anything,” White continued.
A trailer for the film can be viewed in the player below:
The Ronda Rousey Story: Through My Father’s Eyes
“When Ronda Rousey became the first female UFC champion, she achieved more than athletic glory—she realized her late father’s belief that she would make her greatest dreams come true. The Ronda Rousey Story: Through My Father’s Eyes follows Ronda’s inspiring journey to superstardom, weaving revealing interviews with dynamic fight footage to create a portrait of a remarkable and fearless woman who overcame all odds to become a symbol of strength, hope, and female empowerment,” reads a description of the film.
WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is still lobbying for a one-on-one confrontation with “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey. In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Lynch reiterated her interest in facing off against the former UFC Bantamweight Champion.
“I’m exactly where I want to be, but there’s always more work to be done,” Lynch said. “The world still needs that one-on-match with Ronda Rousey. Whenever she’s ready, I’ll be here, still holding down the fort in WWE.”
Until that time, however, Lynch is eagerly awaiting her next major rival to step up and make a name for themselves. She’s hoping that people will stop complaining, and actually start pushing themselves in new, unique ways.
“In our locker room, there are two types of people,” explained Lynch. “Those who are bitching about how I got to the top and those who are trying to copy what I did. But you have to go outside of that. You have to be completely different.
She continued, “Step up. Make a name for yourself. Do it without doing it the way I did. I see what everyone else is doing, and then I try to do the opposite. Be original. Create the interest I have, put together the matches I’ve had. No one can do what I do. If you can, please step up to the plate.”
Lynch made history earlier this year at WrestleMania 35. Alongside Rousey and Charlotte Flair, she would main event WWE’s biggest event—the first time women have ever done so. Lynch walked away the winner of their Triple Threat match, claiming both the RAW Women’s Championship and the SmackDown Women’s Championship in the process.
Ronda Rousey has been on an impregnation vacation since WrestleMania but has kept an active YouTube channel in addition to starring on this season’s Total Divas. In a special Halloween video posted yesterday, Ronda Rousey, Travis Browne, Natalya, and others all attempt to solve a murder mystery.
The full video of Ronda and a cast of strange characters attempting to get to the bottom of the mystery can be viewed in the player below:
A Browsey Acres Murder Mystery
“There’s been a murder!” A description of the video reads on YouTube. “All Ronda wanted to do was to throw a swanky dinner party at Browsey Acres, now all her guests are being killed. Don’t worry, she’ll follow the clues and discover the killer. That is if she survives.”
“Starring Abe Esparza, Corey MacIntosh, Hee Soo Kwon, LaToya Ferguson, Natalya Neidhart, Ronda Rousey, and Travis Browne.”
Ronda Rousey, D-Von Dudley, and Tables
Rousey previously released a trailer for a non-existant horror movie titled “Tables” as well.
The trailer for Tables can be viewed in the player below:
“All hell breaks loose on a peaceful retreat as a strange and violent force terrorizes Browsey Acres. The stipulations have changed for Ronda Rousey and friends in the brand new survival horror, TABLES.”
Triple H gave some interesting comments while doing a brief interview with TMZ Sports while on the street signing autographs and taking photos with fans.
Right out of the gate, Triple H was asked about whether he’ll be back he will make a ring return.
“It’ll depend. Hopefully not, I’m too busy right now. It takes a lot of work to get in the ring. Yeah, still training all the time, but a lot of work.”
Triple H’s last match came back in June while working tag team matches on a tour of Japan.
His last televised match was when he lost to Randy Orton in a singles match at the Super ShowDown event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
Triple H was also asked about the future of former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey.
This is where he noted that she’s doing phenomenal and has the bug for the pro wrestling industry. “The Game” added that she’ll be back at some point but she’s getting a lot done right now.
Rousey was last seen in action in the main event of WrestleMania 35 in April.
WWE Superstar Natalya recently spoke with Channel Guide Magazine discussing the latest season of E’s Total Divas. During their interview, Natalya spoke candidly about Ronda Rousey, as well as what she does to support other female Superstars.
When asked if Rousey will ever return to WWE, Natalya stated, “I think eventually Ronda will. I’m a big believer on never say never. In wrestling it’s like Hotel California. You can check out any time you want, but you can never leave.
She explained that once you get the wrestling bug, it’s there for life. With WWE also providing a family feeling, Natalya is confident she will eventually return. And when she does, Natalya wants a matchup.
“I think she’ll come back, and when she comes back, I want to wrestle her. I pray Ronda comes back because I think her, and I would have an incredible match and hopefully it would be on a huge stage. We never got to have that rivalry and feud with my dad passing away when he did. It happened abruptly, and I had high hopes of feuding with Ronda. Then I was dealing with something out of everyone’s control. It would be really cool to see her come back. I think she will. Fingers crossed.”
“She Really Pushed Me To My Limit”
Natalya has recently been helping Lacey Evans improve with her in-ring work. This hasn’t gone unnoticed by WWE personnel, with Natalya receiving praise for her work. Reflecting on her recent Last Woman Standing with Evans, she credited Paul Heyman’s faith in her to deliver.
“It was supposed to be a one-off with the fun little match we had. Paul was so motivating and inspiring when he told us, ‘I think we can make this an incredible story.’ That’s why I love working with Paul because he has such a good pulse on the industry,” she said.
“All these incredible matches and moments kept happening for me and Lacey. We got a chance to show what we can do. I walk into work to find out about the Last Woman Standing match. Lacey, she really pushed me to my limit. I almost fell off the stage trying to powerbomb her. I did it. When I beat her in that match, I felt like it was one of my favorite matches that I’ve had in years. I feel like I literally slayed the dragon. I felt like a UFC fighter scaling the cage and getting excited like Conor McGregor.”
Triple H says that Ronda Rousey is part of the WWE family and will be back with the company at some point. Hunter was interviewed recently by MMA Junkie and mentioned that Rousey is still in contact with many people in WWE and will likely be back “sooner rather than later.” He also mentioned she has been pitching ideas for her return.
“Don’t have a specific timeline but she’s with us,” Triple H said when asked if Rousey would return. “This is family for her, she’s coming back. She has said it, she calls us all the time. I think the biggest tear for her right now is trying to do what she wants in her personal life and just missing this. It’s hard to explain, this is like a family and there is a brotherhood and a sisterhood here that’s deep with people.”
“I don’t think she understood that walking in the door, but when she got here, she said to me multiple times, ‘It’s like the family that I never knew I was missing, and the group of friends and the environment I never knew I was missing.’ I think she misses that greatly. She talks to everybody all the time, she’s constantly with us, and she’s constantly pitching her return. So, if I had to guess, it would be sooner than later, but who knows?”
Triple H spends most of the conversation with MMA Junkie discussing Tyson Fury and Cain Velasquez. His comments regarding Rousey come in at the 9-minute mark:
What Is Ronda Rousey Up To These Days?
Ronda Rousey has been gone from WWE since WrestleMania. In that time, she has kept her fans up-to-date with what she’s been doing on her YouTube channel. She released a mock trailer for a non-existent horror movie titled “Tables” along with D-Von Dudley:
Rousey can also be seen on the latest season of Total Divas.
Triple H opened up on where things stand with former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey.
“The Game” did so when he spoke with the media after the press conference that took place on Friday in Las Vegas.
When asked about when she’ll return, he stated, “Don’t have a specific timeline but she’s with us. This is family for her. She’s coming back.”
Triple H stated that Rousey has said the same thing and she calls them all of the time. He thinks the biggest tear for her right now is trying to do what she wants in her personal life and just missing WWE as the company is like a family and that’s deep with their talent.
Triple H doesn’t think that Rousey understood that walking in the door when she got here and how she never thought that she would miss being here and the environment that comes with that.
He added that Rousey talks with everybody and that she’s constantly pitching her return.
“If I had to guess, it would be sooner rather than later, but who knows?”
Rousey is currently on hiatus from WWE as she was last seen at WrestleMania 35 following an incredible first-year run with the company.
Former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey is joining the cast of WWE’s reality series, Total Divas.
On Monday, WWE put out a press release announcing details on season 9 of the series as well as the returning and new members of the cast.
Natalya, Naomi, Nia Jax, and Carmella return to the show while Rousey and Sonya Deville have been added. Nikki Bella and Brie Bella will make guest appearances in the series as well.
The new season premieres on E! Wednesday, October 2 at 10 PM ET/PT. It should be noted that Rousey and Nikki and Brie also serve as Executive Producers.
The official Total Divas Twitter account sent out this teaser trailer for the new season, which you can see here:
“Total Divas” kicks off showcasing another side of Ronda Rousey, as she gushes about her MMA fighter husband Travis Browne, enjoying her time in WWE and working on her ranch, Browsey Acres.”
Total Divas is produced by WWE and Bunim/Murray Productions. Gil Goldschein, Russell Jay Staglik and Farnaz Farjam Chazan are Executive Producers for Bunim/Murray Productions. Kevin Dunn and Chris Kaiser serve as Executive Producers for WWE.
Rousey is currently on hiatus from WWE as she was last seen at WrestleMania 35 following an incredible first-year run with the company.
Former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey had an interesting day on set while filming her latest project. TMZ reported that a Rousey suffered a gruesome finger injury on the set of FOX’s “9-1-1” while shooting a scene in Mexico last week.
It happened when she slammed a door during an action moment and it crushed her fingers. Her middle finger was broken and her tendon was nearly severed.
This didn’t stop her as she completed the scene without a hitch and then was taken to a hospital for treatment. She had to get her middle finger repaired with a bolt and screws. Rousey then went back to work the next day.
The second episode of “Straight Up Steve Austin” premiered on the USA Network on Monday night immediately following RAW that featured Impractical Jokers star Sal Vulcano.
The show drew 1.078 million viewers, which is down from last week’s debut show which drew 1.211 viewers, that featured Rob Riggle as his guest.
Baker Mayfield will be the guest on the third episode that airs on August 26. There will be seven episodes in the first season of the new television show.
Sonya Deville has revealed she once pitched a match she believed to be “already written,” only to have it rejected due to time constraints.
That match would have seen her square off against “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey.
Speaking with Barnburner Radio, Deville admitted that as soon as Ronda was hired by WWE, she believed a match between them would be considered a natural bout.
Given the women’s experience with MMA and the training involved, Deville pitched the matchup, believing that there wasn’t any real work to do to hype a confrontation.
She spoke with Triple H but was told that they wouldn’t have enough time to build any sort of satisfying feud between the women. This was due to Ronda’s strict, contractual time limit.
Deville added that she is hoping to get her opportunity against Rousey when she comes back to the ring, believing that the two could do some “special stuff” inside the squared circle, if given a chance.
Ronda Rousey last wrestled for WWE in the Triple Threat main event of WrestleMania 35. She competed against Becky Lynch and then-SmackDown Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair. Rousey would ultimately take the loss, allowing Becky Lynch to claim both RAW and SmackDown’s Women’s Championships.
Becky Lynch still wants to have a single’s match with Ronda Rousey. Lynch got the pin on Rousey in the main event of WrestleMania, though Rousey’s shoulder was slightly off the mat at the time. She spoke to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp recently about having unfinished business with Rousey.
“I don’t know if we will (see her). I’ll be here holding the company up if she does. We still have a one-on-one match to have. I’ll be holding this championship until someone pries it out of my cold, dead hands. So if she ever wants to come at me – Ronnie, I’m here waiting, you little weirdo,” Lynch said.
The full interview can be viewed in the player below:
Lynch also spoke about her stint away from wrestling during the interview.
“I will say, honestly, it was quite hard for me to watch wrestling during that period. I had stepped away, I couldn’t do it anymore, I went through some issues. I was seeing people I’d come through the business with like Tyson Kidd, Natalya, Sheamus all make it. I felt like I should be there, and I didn’t know if I was ever going to be there, and it was very hard to watch,” she said.
Becky Lynch Calls For Ronda To Come Out Of Retirement
Lynch also called for Ronda to come out of retirement in a recent interview with Inside the Ropes.
“Yeah, chased her out of here. I told her the day after WrestleMania, I told her ‘Look Ronnie ya little weirdo if you ever wanna face me, I’ll be standing here, I’ll be holding this Championship and I’ll be holding the fort down if she ever she comes out of retirement.”
Becky Lynch recently took part in an interview with Inside the Ropes in the build-up to tomorrow’s SummerSlam. During the discussion, Lynch reflected on a remarkable year which culminated in a WrestleMania main event and a WWE 2K20 cover.
“Insane. I would say one of the most notable 12 month runs in WWE history. But with that being said and all the things that have been accomplished, the ways that we….or I have changed the game for Women and for the sport in general, I’m constantly just thinking about what’s next, how can I be better, how can I get more intrigue into my stories, how can I get people to care more about the people that I’m fighting about.”
Lynch also spoke in regards to her SummerSlam opponent, Natalya.
“And look I’ve even done it about Nattie Neidhart, people actually care about Nattie AGAIN, even though she’s one of the greatest wrestlers we have in the division – somehow she’s been forgotten because she let herself be forgotten, because she’s too busy sitting back there trying to get everyone to like her. I’ve proved what can happen when you stand out and say ‘I don’t care about making friends in this business. I care about being number one and I want other people to do that. I want Nattie to do that, I want everyone else to do that because I wanna main event WrestleMania again, I want people to step up to the plate.”
Becky Lynch Calls For Ronda Rousey To Come Out Of Retirement
Naturally, Lynch also spent a portion of the interview discussing her rival, Ronda Rousey.
If Rousey does come out of retirement, Lynch believes she’ll have the edge against her.
“But just remember this….I’ve been getting better week after week after week and I’ve already beat ya once so if you wanna come back I think you’re gonna have to spend a few months even a few friggin years in the trenches doin some hard work because I haven’t stopped goin.”
Lynch may have trouble getting Ronda to come out of retirement, however. Rousey is said to be dealing with an outbreak of renegade tables near her property:
WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch got fans talking while doing an interview with Sky Sports to promote the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event that takes place this Sunday.
Right out of the gate, Lynch was asked about wrestling Sasha Banks, which is when things got interesting.
“If Sasha Banks could hack it and she just didn’t get her jacket and she’s off crying like Ronda Rousey, then I would love to face her. Unfortunately, she couldn’t take losing.”
Lynch would fire up while seemingly cutting a promo by noting that Lynch lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship and she was gone.
She noted that some people can’t hack losing, can’t step up and realize when you lose it’s just a chance to get better.
The champ continued by noting that it’s a chance to learn and grow. Instead, of doing that, Banks is talking about the wind and the butterflies on social media. Lynch added that Banks should come find her if she wants it.
Banks’ status has been up in the air after it was reported that she tried to quit during WrestleMania 35 weekend.
Lynch’s comments come right after the first question, which is about 20 seconds into the video. You can watch the full clip here:
Ronda Rousey recently released a trailer for a non-existent movie titled “Tables.” Naturally, D-Von Dudley plays a role in the film’s trailer.
“All hell breaks loose on a peaceful retreat as a strange and violent force terrorizes Browsey Acres. The stipulations have changed for Ronda Rousey and friends in the brand new survival horror, TABLES,” a description for the film reads.
You can view the mock trailer in its entirety in the player below:
Ronda, Travis Browne, D-Von Dudley and other guests are enjoying a peaceful, relaxing, retreat into nature. All is not what it seems, however.
As D-Von is shown staring longingly into the distance, he notices one lone table in a sea of trees as ominous music plays in the background. Then Ronda starts to notice something amiss as well. Finally it becomes clear that this rag-tag group of nature-lovers will have to fend for their sruvival against…the TABLES!
“The stipulations have changed,” D-Von says in the video. “You see, they don’t die, they multiply. That’s how they breed.”
“Table for 2 bi***,” shouted Browne.
Paige makes a special cameo in the trailer as well.
Ronda Rousey’s YouTube Channel
Ronda has been more active on her YouTube channel since leaving WWE for an impregnation vacation. Her “No DNB Productions” includes videos where she demonstrates judo techniques and one where she peed herself after laughing at at the Twizzlers challenge:
Natalya, who is good friends with Ronda Rousey, strongly believes the former WWE RAW Women’s Champion will make a return to the company.
Natalya recently spoke with The New York Post where she talked about how she believes Rousey will return. This is because she talks with Rousey “all the time” and knows that she misses it a lot.
The thing that prevents Rousey from coming back right now is due to her wanting to start a family. She noted that Rousey she definitely wants to come back but when she makes a promise to someone then she stands by her word. Natalya added that she’s really focused on that with her husband Travis.
“So I believe that that right now is her main focus, but I also think she still has a lot of unfinished business is WWE.
Natalya added that Rousey kind of fell in love with it more than she even realized she would.
It’s been reported that Rousey was finished with WWE as a regular full-time star at WrestleMania 35 in April. However, she will remain with the company going forward as an ambassador due to her still having years left on her current deal.
Natalya is slated to challenge Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Title at next Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view event.
WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch is a believer that WWE can hold a second WWE Evolution pay-per-view.
Not only does she think another event can be done but also without former champion Ronda Rousey. Lynch recently spoke with Alex McCarthy of TalkSport where she discussed her belief.
“Oh, absolutely! First and foremost, it was one of the best pay-per-views of the year.”
Lynch noted that the statement is not her being biased but rather it’s a fact. She thought her match against Charlotte Flair was the Match of the Year.
“Absolutely, I don’t see any reason why not. I think we have a strong enough women’s division [without Rousey], as long as they tell the stories around us and let us go. And… that’s all I’ll say.”
This was the first-ever women’s pay-per-view event under the WWE banner, which took place on October 28, 2018, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, in Uniondale, New York.
Nikki Bella vs. Rousey for the RAW Women’s Title served as the main event of this show. Lynch vs. Flair was a heavily promoted contest that saw Lynch beat Flair to retain the SmackDown Women’s Title in a Last Woman Standing match.
At the time, there was speculation that part of the reason WWE held this was show was due to female talent not being allowed to work the Crown Jewel PPV the following month due to the beliefs of the Saudi Arabia government.
