Becky Lynch On Ronda Rousey: “She’s Been Hiding From Me”

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently did an interview with Kristine Leahy for FS1’s “Fair Game” where she spoke about a wide range of topics.

During the interview, she talked about her feud with former RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and why it’s not over just yet.

“She’s been hiding from me. That’s where Ronnie goes. She hides when she loses. We’ll see if she comes back. I still want that one-on-one match. That’s what Ronnie does. The way to beat Ronda isn’t to beat her body. It’s to beat her mind. That’s what I went after.”

The full interview will air on Monday night but you can watch the clip where Lynch talked about Rousey here:

Lynch made history when she dethroned Rousey and Charlotte Flair as RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champions in a triple threat match at WWE WrestleMania 35, which ended up serving as the main event.

This was a notable match for two seasons. First, it marked history as it was the first time that women have headlined the biggest event of the year for the company.

The other notable reason is due to it marking Rousey’s latest match as she took time off after WrestleMania.

Ronda Rousey Says She Misses Wrestling (Video)

Ronda Rousey released a video recently on her official YouTube page. The former RAW women’s champion appears to miss pro-wrestling as evidenced by some of her behaviour in the video.

“It has been too long since Ronda has kicked ass. She misses it,” a description of the YouTube post reads. “Travis is a patient guy.”

The video features Ronda getting a 3-count on Travis Browne, cutting a promo on some food she put in the fridge and making a WWE style ring entrance when coming out of the shower.

You can watch the full video in the player below:

Ronda Rousey Misses Pro-Wrestling

“Babe, you know you can go back to pro-wrestling whenever you want?” Travis Browne asks Ronda in the video.

“I know that, I love you and I appreciate that but really I’m happy here at home,” Ronda said while seemingly climbing up a chandelier in some type of imaginary ladder match.

D-Von Dudley then made a cameo appearance at the end of the video, putting Browne on a table so Rousey can jump off the ladder on top of him.

Rousey also recently sent out the following on Instagram in regards to Shayna Baszler’s successful title defense against Io Shirai on NXT.

Ronda Rousey Praises Shayna Baszler’s Performance Against Io Shirai

Shayna Baszler vs Io Shirai for the NXT Women’s championship inside a steel cage aired this week on NXT. Baszler was able to retain her championship against Shirai, causing the challenger to turn on Candice LeRae after the match was over.

Former RAW Women’s champion Ronda Rousey offered up the following praise for her stablemate’s performance on social media:

4-Horsewomen of MMA members Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir also got involved in the match.

Shayna Baszler and the NXT Women’s Championship

Baszler is the only 2x champion in the lineage of the NXT Women’s championship. The 376+ days she has spent with the title across her two reigns is good for second all-time. Asuka is the leader in the days spent as champion category with 510.

Baszler’s current reign sits at 243+ days, already 4th all-time for a single reign. Asuka’s 510-day title reign leads the category. Paige’s inaugural run with the belt lasted 308 days. In two weeks, Baszler will top Charlotte Flair’s 258-day title reign.

Baszler has defeated Io Shirai, Kairi Sane, and Bianca Belair so far in her current title reign.

Becky Lynch Wants To Headline WrestleMania 36 Without Ronda Rousey

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has made her goal for WrestleMania 36 known and it’s a big one.

While doing an interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated where she talked about a wide range of topics, Lynch revealed how she is already consumed with the idea of being in the main event of WrestleMania 36.

For the top female talent on Monday Night RAW, she wants to headline this event but without Ronda Rousey.

“I want to headline WrestleMania without Ronda Rousey,” said Lynch. “That drives me. I’ve main-evented WrestleMania, now I know what it feels like. For me, anything less than a WrestleMania main event is going to feel like a failure. So I’ve been thinking a lot about who my next opponent will be at WrestleMania 36.”

Lynch made history when she dethroned Rousey and Charlotte Flair as RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champions in a triple threat match at WWE WrestleMania 35, which ended up serving as the main event.

This marked history as it was the first time that women have headlined the biggest event of the year for the company.

WrestleMania 36 will take place Sunday, April 5th, 2020 from Tampa, FL at the Raymond James Stadium and air on the WWE Network.

Ronda Rousey’s Hand Cast & Surgical Pins Removed (Video)

Ronda Rousey has provided an update on her health approximately six weeks after undergoing hand surgery.

The former WWE RAW Women’s Champion underwent surgery on her pinky finger knuckle following her historic main event match at WrestleMania 35. In addition to sporting a cast, Rousey also had metal pins installed in her hand to keep her knuckle together during the recovery period.

The latest video on Rousey’s YouTube channel, seen below, documents her medical situation.

Even though Ronda Rousey is making progress with her physical recovery, don’t expect to see her back in a WWE ring any time soon. Following WrestleMania 35, Rousey announced she and husband Travis Browne were going on an “impregnation vacation” in hopes of starting a family together.

Rousey Says UFC Debut Was Bigger Than WrestleMania

Rousey recently took part in an interview with the UFC’s Megan Olivi. She compared her UFC debut to main eventing WrestleMania. According to Rousey, her UFC debut felt bigger than WrestleMania.

“Yeah, [WrestleMania 35] felt big,” Rousey said. “I think it just has to do with the time and the perspective. Me and Liz Carmouche felt bigger to me.”

“Even though it was years ago and not as many people watched, it was at the Honda Center which holds maybe 16k-20k compared to WrestleMania where it was in front of maybe 80k people and millions watching. I just felt me and Carmouche was the most pivotal moment had to happen that way or women’s MMA would have ended before it started.”

Becky Lynch Addresses Possible Ronda Rousey Rematch At WrestleMania 36

WWE RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently spoke with Chuck Carroll of CBS Sports to talk about a wide range of topics.

During the interview, she was asked about former champion Ronda Rousey and the impact that she had not just on the women’s division but on WWE as a whole.

This is where Lynch praised her for being a tremendous, natural, athlete but wasn’t born tough and thinks that we saw the best of Rousey before she was defeated and haven’t seen her since.

Lynch was then asked if she would like to have a rematch at next year’s WrestleMania. This event will take place Sunday, April 5th, 2020 from Tampa, FL at the Raymond James Stadium.

“If Ronda Rousey is ready to come back to try and prove herself, I would absolutely take her on. If not, then there’s plenty of other women here who are ready, willing, going day in, day out, that I would love to fight.”

WWE presents the Money In The Bank pay-per-view event on Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Hartford, CT at the XL Center. At this show, Lynch will defend the Raw Women’s Title against Lacey Evans and the SmackDown Women’s Title against Charlotte Flair.

Becky Lynch: “My Goal Was To Knock Ronda Rousey Out Of The Company”

Becky Lynch currently holds both the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Championships. She will attempt to defend both at Money in the Bank when she puts up the RAW title against Lacey Evans and the Smackdown version against Charlotte Flair. Lynch spoke to SI.com recently regarding Ronda Rousey, headlining WrestleMania, and more.

“My goal wasn’t just to knock Ronda Rousey out, it was to chase her out of the company,” Lynch said. “And we haven’t seen her since.”

“The way to beat Ronda isn’t through her body, it’s through her mind,” Lynch continued. “Once she feels like she is untouchable, that’s when she is most vulnerable. Ronda enjoyed WWE, as she did in MMA, when she was on top, but she got her jacket and left once she found out she wasn’t infallible.”

Becky Lynch Interview Highlights

Lynch also spoke about how she was motivated to headline WrestleMania 35 following a text she received at WrestleMania 34.

“I remember getting a text at WrestleMania 34 from a friend, and the text read, ‘I heard it’s going to be Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey in the main event of WrestleMania next year,’” said Lynch. “I thought to myself, ‘How dare you not even put me in consideration?’ Even though I was looked at as a mid-card player, I always viewed myself as a top star. I knew it was just a matter of breaking through, but I just had to figure out a way to do it.”

Lynch first started training when she was 15. Finn Balor was one of her instructors early in her career. Balor was also successful at WrestleMania, defeating Bobby Lashley for the Intercontinental title. Lynch also spoke about what it was like with both her and Devitt wrestling at WrestleMania 35.

“You couldn’t write that,” said Lynch. “We started out together as little teenagers, living the dream, I was 15 and he was 20, and we end up in the semi-main event and main event of WrestleMania? And both walk out with championships? Finn found me after the show to tell me he was proud of me, and I am sure as hell proud of him.”

Becky Lynch Sends Message To Ronda Rousey, Conor McGregor & Cris Cyborg

WWE RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently made an appearance told 106.7 The Fan’s Chad Dukes to talk about a wide range of topics.

During the interview, Lynch wanted to send a message to former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey as well as UFC stars Conor McGregor and Cris Cyborg.

Lynch beat Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair to win the titles at WrestleMania 35 in a Winner Take All Match in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium on the WWE Network. Regarding Rousey, Lynch praised her for coming into WWE with a lot of equity and she’s an incredibly natural athlete. However, that’s where it stops.

“But this isn’t her domain, this isn’t what she’s obsessed about for years and years and years. It’s what I have. So, for me, it was a matter of saying, ‘Okay, yeah, you’re naturally gifted. Yeah, you’re born tough. But that’s not nearly as impressive or long-lasting as being made tough.'” Lynch would then add, “So my goal was to take that championship she was holding hostage, and free it and defend it, and give it to somebody – me – who loves this business more than anything.”

Lynch switched her focus to Cyborg, who is a former UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion, due to her expressing her interest in a possible transition to WWE. Lynch would praise her for being another very talented professional in her field and welcomes anyone into wrestling who is going to put in the work but don’t expect to be handed everything.

Lynch added that wrestling and MMA are completely different and not everyone is able to do that.

Finally, McGregor, who is a former UFC Lightweight and Featherweight Champion, teasing to the possibility of him coming to WWE was brought up. Lynch stated that, “if he wants to work for it, by all means. Come on, Conor. I’ll give ya a little bit of training. I’ll show you the ropes.”

Mortal Kombat Fans Aren’t Impressed With Ronda Rousey’s Vocal Performance

NetherRealm Studios made a big deal over Ronda Rousey’s inclusion in their recent release, Mortal Kombat 11.

Months ago, Rousey was introduced during a NetherRealm press event as the new voice of Sonya Blade. Ronda shared her excitement, describing the experience playing a character in a franchise she grew up playing was a “dream come true”.

Now the game is out, NetherRealm may regret her highly publicized inclusion with her vocal performance receiving almost universally negative feedback from gamers.

Fatality

Fans of pro wrestling already know that Rousey’s mic skills were a little…underwhelming, when she first started appearing for WWE.

Over her time with the company, however, her abilities steadily improved. Unfortunately for NetherRealm, her skills clearly didn’t develop in time for her role as Sonya Blade.

Fans of the game have been quick to lambast the Superstar. Many have highlighted her vocal inadequacies, especially juxtaposed with Johnny Cage—a character Sonya Blade apparently shares many scenes with. One even liked her to The Room’s (in)famous Tommy Wiseau.

If you’re a fan of the Mortal Kombat series, or want to buy the game just to experience Rousey’s vocal talents, the game is available now on all major platforms. Alternatively, you can listen to her performance in the videos above.

Ronda Rousey Confirms WWE Hiatus, Might Not Return

Ronda Rousey is taking an indefinite leave from WWE as she prepares to start a family with her husband Travis Browne.

On Monday, Rousey released a video where she addressed her in-ring future after WrestleMania 35 where she dropped the RAW women’s title to Becky Lynch in the main event.

After suffering a broken hand in the match, Rousey revealed that she had two pins inserted during surgery just recently with a cast that will remain on her arm for the next four weeks.

More importantly, Rousey is taking a break from her career as she hopes to start a family in the near future and that was always the plan from the day she signed with WWE. In fact, Rousey says her stint with WWE was actually expected to be much shoter but she truly fell in love with the business and opted to stick around longer.

Ronda Rousey Might Not Return To WWE

Rousey reveals that initially, she was not planning to stick with WWE through WrestleMania 35. In fact, she was expecting to wrap up with the company in late 2018.

“Originally, I approached them I thought I would only be able to wrestle from WrestleMania to November because we already wanted to start a family,” she said. “We came to WWE as ‘hey before we have a baby, I just want to be able to come and do this for a couple months cause it’s something I’ve always wanted to do’ and then it just kind of snowballed. Instead of being a small detour in my life, became my whole life for an entire year and I completely fell in love with it.

She fell in love with pro wrestling, which convinced her to stick around and make history by headlining WrestleMania with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.

“As time went on that I was in the company, we were kind of playing it by ear and I loved it so much, I ended up getting the title and when it became a real possibility that women could be the main event at WrestleMania if I stuck around, I decided to stick around. We planned on after WrestleMania, me and my amazing husband here would go off and try to start our family.”

Ronda Rousey Might Not Return To WWE

Now that Rousey has taken a hiatus from WWE, she’s planning on traveling with her husband as they prepare to have a baby in the near future.

As far as her professional wrestling career, Rousey is still undecided until after she has a child.

“As for WWE plans in the future, we want to have a baby first. I don’t know what it’s like to have a baby,” Rousey explained. “I could look down at this beautiful child and be like f—k everything, I don’t care about anything else other than this baby and you’ll never see me again or I could be like my mom, she trained until she was eight months pregnant and then won the U.S. Open six weeks after giving birth, which is unbelievable. I don’t think I’m going to try and aspire to her level. You just never know.

“I don’t want to make any promises about the future when I don’t know how I’m going to feel in the future.”

Rousey signed a multi-year deal with WWE when she joined the organization in 2018. After debuting at WrestleMania, Rousey was thrust into the spotlight as one of the main attractions on the entire WWE roster and she eventually became champion.

It all culminated one year later when Rousey headlined WrestleMania 35 alongside Lynch and Charlotte Flair as the first ever women’s main event at the historic ‘showcase of the immortals’.

Now Rousey is focused on another goal as she hopes to start her family and there’s no telling what her future in WWE will or won’t be until after she has her baby.

Ronda Rousey Going On An “Impregnation Vacation”

Ronda Rousey appears to have confirmed reports that she and husband Travis Browne are planning to start a family in the near future.

Rousey was last seen at WrestleMania 35, where she dropped the Raw women’s championship to Becky Lynch. It had been long rumored that Ronda Rousey was planning to take time off from WWE after WrestleMania to start a family.

On Monday afternoon, she posted a message on Instagram announcing she and Browne were setting off on an “impregnation vacation.”

Ronda Rousey Taking Time Off From WWE

The news of Ronda Rousey taking time off from WWE first broke back in January. She pushed back on the report in an interview with ESPN, lashing out at people reporting on her plans to start a family.

She told ESPN, “I honestly don’t know why [anyone] feels like [they’re] an authority to speak on the plans for my uterus … I really don’t feel like I should have to respond to that kind of thing. It’s my vagina, my life, keep the speculations to yourself. Leave me and my reproductive organs alone.”

This was a stark contrast to multiple public comments she had made previously about wanting to start a family. Her personal life with Travis Browne aside, Rousey suffered a badly broken hand at WrestleMania, which would also keep her out of the ring for the foreseeable future.

Roman Reigns Talks A Possible Confrontation With Ronda Rousey

Roman Reigns had main evented WrestleMania 4 years in a row but this year this spot was taken away from him by the former UFC Star Ronda Rousey and others.

During a recent interview on the Elvis Duran Show, the Big Dog talked about a number of things and also discussed a possible confrontation with the Baddest Woman On the Planet.

Roman was asked what would happen if he and Ronda Rousey ever came face to face and answering the question; the former World Champion said that she would chop his arm off:

“She’s going to chop my arms off me. If she gets a hold of one, she is going to break that thing. I think I can take a punch from her but she would snap my arm like a twig.”

Apart from this, Roman Reigns also talked about his battle with leukemia saying that it would have been selfish for him not to share his experience with the world.

As we noted before, Roman defeated Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania and he is expected to engage in a rivalry with Baron Corbin in the near future.

On the other hand, Ronda Rousey is scheduled for a surgery for her broken hand this Tuesday and there are no clear reports on when can we expect her to return to the ring.

Ronda Rousey Scheduled For Surgery

Ronda Rousey lost the RAW Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch at WrestleMania. She hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since.

According to a recent report from Fightful, she is scheduled to have surgery on her broken hand this Tuesday. WWE are officials are said to be hopeful she returns to the company later this year or next but there is no timetable set for her return.

Rousey documented the diagnosis of her broken hand on her YouTube channel. In the video, Rousey is shown getting her hand X-rayed and meeting with Triple H and Paul Heyman.

You can watch Ronda’s latest “Ronda on the Road” in the player below:

Ronda Rousey’s Rookie Year

Ronda Rousey recently competed arguably the most amazing rookie year in the history of pro-wrestling.

She wrestled her 1st professional match at WrestleMania 34 and her latest at WrestleMania 35. She wrestled 67 matches during that period, winning 66 of them. 37 matches of her matches were on WWE live events not shown on television or streamed online.

Rousey held the RAW Women’s Championship for 231 days and defended it 10x on WWE programming. She defended the title another 20x on WWE house shows. Rousey’s only loss during her rookie year came in the main event of WrestleMania 35.

Becky Lynch Believes Ronda Rousey Couldn’t Handle WWE Schedule

WWE’s current champ-champ, Becky Lynch, recently spoke with Sports Illustrated. She discussed her ambitions going forward now that she is both the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Champion and what her thoughts are regarding her rival, Ronda Rousey.

Her momentous victory on Sunday wasn’t without some controversy. Lynch managed to secure a pinfall onto Rousey for the win. The only problem? Ronda’s shoulders were not securely against the mat for the entire three count. Regardless, only one woman was standing tall at the end of the night with both championships in her possession.

It’s a position that Becky has been eager to attain. One she feels she was made for, unlike, in her mind, Ronda Rousey.

“Only four months after having a part-time schedule, after making her debut at WrestleMania [34]—having been on the cover of everything, just handed everything, she was crying in her kitchen about how she couldn’t make her husband breakfast,” said Lynch. “She couldn’t hack our schedule. Yet we do this every single night, 52 weeks a year, yet she couldn’t handle it for four months.”

Aware of her popularity amongst the WWE Universe, Lynch shares her approach towards her job—in particular, her promo opportunities.

“I approach this as a political campaign,” explained Lynch. “Any time I’ve the opportunity to get my voice out there, get myself heard and my message across, I use it. I want to make sure I do the people proud.”

With her next challenger appearing to be former NXT Superstar Lacey Evans, who has interrupted and attacked the champion multiple times since her win on Sunday, Becky admits that “This is when the hard work starts,” said Lynch. “I’ve got two championships to make.”

Photo Surfaces Of Ronda Rousey Wearing Cast At RAW

Although former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey didn’t appear on Monday’s episode of RAW in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center, she was backstage.

Rousey lost the title to Becky Lynch when they took part in a Winner Take All Match alongside Charlotte Flair in the main event of Sunday’s WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view event.

In the match, it’s been reported that she suffered a broken right hand. This marked history as it was the first time that women have headlined the biggest event of the year for the company.

The injury didn’t stop Rousey, who was originally advertised to appear on RAW, from being at the show. WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart posted the photo below with Rousey, whose right hand was in a cast, while backstage on his official Instagram account:

https://www.instagram.com/p/BwBUFKdAuYz/?utm_source=ig_embed

It’s been reported that Rousey is likely finished with WWE as a regular full-time star at this show but will remain with the company going forward as an ambassador due to her still having years left on her current deal. It’s always possible that she makes a return for another match down the road.

Becky Lynch Shares What She Told Ronda Rousey’s Mom After WrestleMania

In the build-up to the main event of WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair talked a ton of trash talk that led to them being the first women to headline the biggest event of the year for WWE.

Lynch beat Rousey and Flair to win the WWE RAW and SmackDown Women’s Titles at WrestleMania 35 in a Winner Take All Match. Just hours after the biggest win thus far in her WWE career, she appeared on WFAN Sports Radio’s  “Boomer and Gio” show, alongside WWE Champion Kofi Kingston to talk about the big win.

During the discussion, Lynch would reveal what she told Rousey’s mother who was in attendance after the contest.

“She was a little upset about all the things I said about her. And I was like, ‘Your daughter had it coming. Now get her out of here!”

Lynch would continue by stating that the former UFC star’s tourist visa in WWE has expired as she sees it as her sport.

“This is my sport,” Lynch said. “This is my turf. This is my territory. Ronnie’s a tourist in my industry. She’s a tourist in my industry. And now her tourist visa has expired. She can get out of here.”

Ronda Rousey Suffers Broken Hand, News On Main Event Finish

Last night’s double championship victory by Becky Lynch was not without controversy. There are reports this morning that the finish of last night’s main event did not go entirely as expected.

Meanwhile, Dave Meltzer is saying the planned finish of the match was Lynch pinning Rousey but Rousey’s shoulders coming up during the pin was not planned. He noted the planned finish was once to be a submission win for Lynch but it was later changed to a pinfall.

“At one point, the finish was going to be a submission finish,” Meltzer said on the WM35 main event. “There were a lot of people who were for it and a lot of people who were against it. In the end, the idea was a pinfall and not a submission.”

He would continue to say that Rousey’s shoulders coming up was accidental.

“She wasn’t supposed to get the shoulders up,” he continued. “It just happened.”

Ronda Rousey Suffers Broken Hand

Rousey is also reported to have suffered a broken hand.

“I have some news,” Dave Meltzer said. “Ronda has a broken hand, a severely broken hand. She just was diagnosed with it.”

Some users on Twitter feel Rousey has had that hand wrapped for a few weeks now:

Future Plans For Ronda Rousey

According to comments made last night on Wrestling Observer Radio, there is no timetable for Rousey’s return to WWE.

“This was scheduled to be her last match,” Meltzer continued. “Will she come back at some point? Obviously, that’s up to her.”

WWE is moving forward assuming Rousey won’t be involved for some time, however.

“There is no timetable for Ronda Rousey at this point.”

Becky Lynch Says Ronda Rousey Isn’t Equipped To Be Champion In WWE

Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, who is set to share the ring alongside WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey and WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair in a winner take all match at WrestleMania 35, continues to make the media rounds.

Lynch recently spoke with Sports Illustrated to promote WrestleMania 35. During the interview, Lynch talked about how Rousey does not deserve to be a champion in this business because she is not mentally equipped to do so.

“Ronda Rousey has had that title for almost a year, but no one started talking about the title ‘til ‘The Man’ came around,” said Lynch, who wrestles Rousey, the Raw women’s champion, and SmackDown champ Charlotte Flair in a winner-take-all match this Sunday at WrestleMania 35. “Ronda Rousey does not deserve to be a champion in this business. Her body is made of titanium, but her mind is not equipped for it.”

Rousey has been critical of pro wrestling in the build to this match at WrestleMania. For months now, the three female stars have been trading words to build hype for the historic contest.

Kurt Angle Discusses Parallels With Ronda Rousey, Her WWE Future

WWE Hall of Famer and former Monday Night Raw General Manager Kurt Angle is a big supporter of WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey.

Part of that is due to their connection over backgrounds but also for the transition to being a WWE Superstar.

Angle, who is slated to take on Baron Corbin in his farewell match at WrestleMania 35, recently did an interview with Sky Sports to promote the show. During the interview, Angle talked about the parallels between his career and Rousey.

Rousey teamed with Angle to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a mixed tag team match WrestleMania 34 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana last year.

They beat the married couple, which marked Rousey’s in-ring debut under the banner of WWE.

“I do see parallels. Whenever I see her she reminds me of myself and it’s very exciting to see that, very seldom do you see that,” he said. “I thought there would never be another Kurt Angle but when I look at Ronda I feel like I’m looking in the mirror. I’m very proud of her and she’s going to continue to get better that’s the scary part. I’m not sure if she’s going to do anything after WrestleMania — she might be taking a break, but I’m looking forward to seeing her coming back and doing some damage.”

Becky Lynch Thinks Ronda Rousey Will Retire If She Loses At WrestleMania

Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch was back at it again by talking about WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey. The two stars have been trading words not only on television but on social media as well over the last few months.

They will share the ring alongside WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 35 when they take part in a triple threat winner takes all match in the headliner of this show.

While doing a recent interview with TMZ, Lynch claims that Rousey will retire from in-ring action under the WWE banner if she loses at WrestleMania. There have been rumors that Rousey may take time off from competition after this show.

According to Lynch, her belief about Rousey walking away from the pro wrestling business is due to the way that she handled the end of her pro-MMA career and walked away from the sport after suffering two straight losses.

“She won’t be able to hack it,” Becky said of Ronda on TMZ Live. “She won’t be able to take it. She won’t be able to look defeat in the face and say I can come back from this.”

“When Rhonda feels untouchable, that’s when she gets put to sleep. That’s when she gets knocked out.” And, we all know what happens to Rhonda when that happens, she goes and she cries under her blankey for a year or whatever. The only thing she knows how to do is either be invincible or be gone.”

Ronda Rousey Plans To Reconsider Her Life After WrestleMania (Video)

WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey is keeping her future in the WWE a secret. She’s set to take on SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in a triple threat winner take all match that will serve as the headliner of WrestleMania 35.

It’s been reported that Rousey is likely finished with WWE as a regular full-time star at this show but will remain with the company going forward as an ambassador due to her still having years left on her current deal. It’s always possible that she makes a return for another match down the road.

When asked about her future while speaking with TMZ, Rousey admitted that she’ll have to reconsider her life after this show and called it a do-or-die moment.

“I don’t know, I guess I’ll have to reconsider my life after Sunday. It’s a do-or-die moment, so we’ll see.”

Also, Rousey was asked about the WWE segment from John Oliver on HBO’s “Last Week Tonight” program. When asked if she still supports him. Rousey stated, “I love John Oliver. I’m a huge fan.”

WWE presents the WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view event on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium that will air on the WWE Network.

Joe Rogan Questions Ronda Rousey’s Love For WWE

Longtime UFC color commentator Joe Rogan recently spoke about current WWE RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey during an episode of his popular podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience.

This is where he questioned how much Rousey loves wrestling under the WWE banner due to her competitive background that she has. The former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion found great success while competing as a pro-MMA fighter and one of the biggest stars in the history of the UFC.

Her last two fights under the UFC banner was devastating for her as she was violently knocked out by Holly Holm with a head kick and then her final fight only last 48 seconds as she lost to current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes.

“I’m wondering how much she loves the WWE, Rogan stated (H/T to MMANews). “I always wonder when a person is like an elite athlete at the highest level, a real one, if they still enjoy doing that. I think she enjoyed doing that though. I think she was a fan of it before she ever got involved. I think she actually enjoyed pro wrestling. It’s not competition, but then again you can only get knocked unconscious so many times. You can only get f*cked up so many times, and she got f*cked up two fights in a row really bad. The Holly Holm KO, which was ruthless and then Amanda Nunes just punched her face in for 48 seconds. It was horrific, that was hard to watch.”

Rousey makes her next title defense as WWE RAW Women’s Champion against WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch in a Winner Takes All match in the main event of WrestleMania 35.

Ronda Rousey’s Mugshot Photo Following Arrest On WWE RAW

Things escalated quickly last night between the 3 competitors set to main event WrestleMania Sunday.

In what is being hailed as one of the best WWE segments in ages, police officers were hit, car windows were smashed, and all 3 Superstars were put in handcuffs and arrested.

Rousey is the first of the 3 to comment on what happened last night. The RAW Women’s Champion wasted little time publishing her mug shot.

As of this writing, neither Becky nor Charlotte have posted on social media following their arrests during RAW.

Last night’s segment featuring Rousey, Lynch, and Flair is being praised by several wrestling personalities. The 3 teamed together against the Riott Squad and were not allowed to betray their partners until the match was over or else lose their spot in Sunday’s main event.

After she made Liv Morgan tap to an armbar, Rousey promptly punched Charlotte Flair in the face as soon as the bell rang to end the match. Security and police were called in to separate them but that proved to be a difficult task.

Big E made a request of the media when covering these events:

Natalya Says That Ronda Rousey Is “Willing To Take Risks”

WWE Superstar Natalya recently appeared on the Busted Open Radio show and discussed a variety of topics. The WWE veteran talked about Ronda Rousey and her willingness to “take risks” to make fans care about her character.

Natalya stated that “the thing about Ronda is that she has definitely put in the work. I like the fact that she is willing to take risks. She’s part of this WrestleMania main event for several reasons. One of those reasons is she’s willing to make people hate her to get people interested and watching the show.”

The Hart Family member elaborated further, saying that “you look at some of our most pivotal and polarizing characters in WWE. If everybody in the locker room was getting along, if Charlotte liked Becky, and Becky liked Charlotte, if everybody was just friends, would you pay to see that in the main event?”

Natalya also revealed what the RAW Women’s Champion had discussed with her recently. “Ronda said to me the other day, ‘I don’t care if people hate me, I don’t care if people like me. I want to help change this industry. I want to get everybody wanting to see this WrestleMania main event.'”

Ronda Rousey Believes She Is Why Triple Threat Will Main Event WrestleMania

Ronda Rousey has become known for frequently bending, if not flat out breaking, the fourth wall on her personal YouTube show, Ronda On The Road.

This weeks episode of the show follows her journey to this week’s Monday Night RAW in Boston, Massachusetts. During the video, Ronda would speak candidly on her match at WrestleMania. She would admit she thinks Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair wouldn’t be enough to main event the show. She went on toe say they “need” her in the match to elevate their feud. Their triple threat will see womenclosing the show for the first time in WWE history.

“It’s really cool to see people so p****d off, that thought I would fail miserably,” Rousey said. “And see that within one year, I’m in the main event of WrestleMania. And, you know what? I could promise you that Charlotte vs. Becky 9000 would not have made the main event of WrestleMania. They need me and I made it happen.”

Under Pressure

The pressure of main eventing WrestleMania on April 7th isn’t lost on the champion. She shares that “Going into this WrestleMania, I think it’s just… we just need to make sure the event is a huge success.”

She continues, “It needs to do extremely well views, I mean, it needs to do extremely well on pay-per-view buys. I want it to be the best ever because we need the women headlining WrestleMania to not be an isolated event. We need it to be, like, proof that this works and if we don’t do that, everything that we’ve done is for nothing, and we’re going to take so many years and steps back. So, there’s just so much depending on the success of this event. It really reminds me of me and [Liz] Carmouche for UFC. Everything depended on that event [UFC 157] being a success. The whole future of women in that sport, and I think the future of the women in this industry depends on the success of WrestleMania 35.”

Ronda Rousey defends her RAW Women’s Championship against SmackDown Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair, and “The Man” Becky Lynch in a triple-threat at WrestleMania 35. The history-making matchup goes down on April 7th from MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
