Hall Possibly Returning To TNA, Dinero Responds To Report, More

— TNA Wrestling president Dixie Carter has discussed bringing Scott Hall back to the organization once he completes rehabilitation, reports Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

However, the gimmick never made it to television as he was released by the organization in November 2008.

Details On Why Scott Hall Was Fired By TNA Wrestling

Scott Hall has reportedly been fired by TNA Wrestling. He was written off of storylines at last night’s television taping for Thursday night’s episode.

TNA stripped The Band — Hall, Kevin Nash, and Eric Young — of the TNA Tag Team Championship and set up a mini-tournament. The winning team will face The Motor City Machineguns for the vacant titles at next month’s Victory Road pay-per-view.

Last month, Hall was arrested outside of Orlando, Florida two days before Sacrifice. He worked the event and reportedly did not inform management of his arrest. He was charged with disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest after being arrested at the Hitching Post Bar. Hall has since pled not guilty to the charges. His next scheduled court date is July 1 in Seminole County court.

Scott Hall’s Mug Shot, Update On Von Erich’s Custody Battle

TNA Star Scott Hall

– As reported earlier, Scott Hall was arrested on May 14 on charges of disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest, according to the Orlando Sentinel. Authorities were called to the Hitching Post Bar in Chuluota, Florida after Hall, who had been “drinking heavily” according to a police report, “became aggressive.” When authorities arrived, they found Hall yelling and cursing at the patrons and staff of the bar. Hall was told he was not allowed to return to the establishment. On his police report, the TNA World Tag Team Champion listed himself as an “unemployed” professional wrestler.

– Lacey Von Erich announced on her Facebook account over the weekend that she is involved in a custody dispute over her four-year-old son, Daniel, and that her hectic wrestling schedule may be damaging to her case. She is hopeful everything will be resolved without her having to leave the industry. In an update on the situation, TNA officials are permitting Von Erich to work less dates while she works things out. The father of her son, who is her ex-boyfriend, is claiming she is an unfit mother. Reportedly, he showed footage of her stripping on iMPACT! last month to a judge to further his case for custody of the child.

Scott Hall Arrested On Charges Of Intoxication & Resisting Arrest

Scott Hall was arrested last week on charges of disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The Seminole County Sheriff’s office was called at 1:43 a.m. on May 14 with a call saying there was a disturbance at the Hitching Post Bar in Chuluota, Florida, located about 20 minutes outside of Orlando.

When a deputy arrived, he found a bartender insisting Hall leave the bar, but the wrestling star cursed at him and other patrons. According to the police report, Hall appeared intoxicated, was slurring his speech and his eyes were bloodshot.

When Hall was told he was being placed in custody for intoxication, he resisted and swore at the officer, but the deputy managed to place handcuffs on him. Due to Hall’s inordinate size, the officer utilized two sets of handcuffs in tandem, and placed him in a patrol car.

The bartender told the deputy that Hall had been “drinking heavily” and “became aggressive inside the bar,” the report states. He pushed a customer and argued with the female bartender and called her names, the report says.

Hall was told never to return to the bar. When Hall was booked, he claimed he was unemployed.

Who’s Backstage At Impact?, Hall & Nash Comment On Reunion

— Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, Sting and Mick Foley are backstage at iMPACT! and advertised to appear during tonight’s show. All four superstars were left off last night’s Destination X pay-per-view. It’s worth noting that in the company website’s preview for tonight’s show, they weren’t initially advertised to appear. However, their names have since been listed.

— Last night’s pay-per-view saw a reunion of the Wolfpack as Kevin Nash turned on Eric Young to help Scott Hall and Syxx-Pac pick up the victory, thus giving them contracts with the company. Both Hall and Nash commented on their reunion.

Nash wrote on Twitter: “Wolfpac is back! very proud of Scott. last night will be etched in my memory forever. dont forget to watch impact 9-11 on spike. I’ll be watching 2nite. worth watching just 2 see how good Scott looked at ppv if u missed it.”

Hall wrote on Facebook: “And THE BAND IS BACK TOGETHER….did you really expect anything else? Don’t blink…who knows what will happen next…”

Apparently, WWE doesn’t own the term Wolfpac when they purchased WCW intellectual property, thus meaning TNA is free to use it.

— The TV Guide preview for tonight’s iMPACT! is as follows: “Fallout from the Destination X pay-per-view event, including AJ Styles’ title defense.”

Carter Comments On Whether There Will Be An Impact Replay

Rambo is currently scheduled to air during TNA’s former time slot.

— As seen last night at Destination X, Scott Hall and Syxx-Pac faced Kevin Nash and Eric Young in a tag team match with their future in TNA on the line. Ultimately, Nash turned on Young and helped “The Band” pick up the victory, which gave them contracts with the company. Both Hall and Waltman have since been added to TNA’s roster page.

— Jesse Godderz of Big Brother attended last night’s Destination X pay-per-view.

Video From Inside The Wolpack’s TNA Dressing Room

Hall & Waltman Removed From Roster, What’s Next For D’Amore?

— In addition to being removed from the opening montage for iMPACT!, both Scott Hall and Sean Waltman have been removed from the TNA website’s roster page.

It should be noted however that both wrestlers are still affiliated with TNA as the website is simply corresponding with the angle a few weeks ago where Hulk Hogan said they don’t work for TNA and subsequently had them removed from the Impact! Zone. With that being said, their long-term futures with the company do legitimately remain in doubt.

— As reported earlier today, Scott D’Amore has amicably parted ways with TNA Wrestling. He issued the following statement on his Facebook account regarding his departure from the organization:

“TNA wrestling producer and former on-air manager of Team Canada, Scott D’Amore has decided to leave TNA Wrestling effective immediately. D’Amore, who most recently was the agent for the TNA Knockouts division, which produced some of the highest ratings for SpikeTV’s Impact, has decided to pursue a new wrestling project… in Canada. D’Amore’s Border City Wrestling, based out of Windsor, Ontario, will be merging with Toronto’s BSE Pro Wrestling, run by Jason A. Brown, to become one of North America’s largest and longest running independent wrestling company under the new banner, Maximum Pro Wrestling!”

You can read his statement in its entirety at the following link.

— TNA will be holding house shows at the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center in Pikeville, Kentucky on April 8th, 2010 and the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, West Virginia on April 10th, 2010. (Thanks to Devin Cutting)

Respect For Ric Flair In TNA, Hall & Waltman’s Status

– There is a tremendous amount of respect for Ric Flair within the TNA locker room. At the last set of iMPACT tapings, Flair was very outgoing, getting to know some of the young wrestlers and was telling people he loved being there since he felt he was being used right by managing the World Champion AJ Styles. He was shown a ton of respect backstage with the wrestlers and agents “in awe” of him. Flair’s interviews have also received ave reviews.

– TNA management is said to be “putting up with” Scott Hall and Sean Waltman, but are trying to make the most of them while they’re part of a big storyline. Most people figured that Hall wouldn’t work out but there’s a lot of disappointment in Waltman as some figured that he would have shown up in better shape considering it’s probably his last shot with a major US promotion.
