nWo is one of the most popular factions in the history of wrestling. A testament to its popularity is the amount of money Scott Hall still makes just from the merchandise sales related to the group.
The WWE Hall Of Famer recently appeared on the 83 Weeks podcast of Eric Bischoff where he opened up about the financial aspects of Monday Night Wars.
During the interview, Hall explained how he was making considerably less money in WWE compared to his WCW deal. He then revealed how much money he now makes just from his merchandise deal:
“I mean I’m making 6 figures just off [merchandise], and every once and a while, yanno when you make an appearance, you make more. The funny part is, now that I hardly ever work for them or hardly do anything, the payoffs are way better,
It’s always first class air fare, they always have a driver at the airport.” said Scott Hall, “When I was filling seats for them and traveling all around the world, I couldn’t get s–t. I was sitting in the back, in the middle seat, back when they had smoking seats.”
The founding nWo member also discussed jumping ships from WWE to WCW and explained that he originally had no intention of leaving the company.
Hall explained that he started thinking about it when he found out how much money X Pac was offered for joining WCW and the ball started rolling after that.
It has been more than 25 years since Scott Hall invaded WCW Nitro on May 27th, 1996. Nitro had just expanded to 2-hours and the show emanated from the Macon Coliseum in Macon, Georgia. Hall was a guest recently on Eric Bischoff’s 83 Weeks podcast and the two spoke about what happened backstage before the show.
According to Hall and Bischoff, Hall didn’t know anything about what he would be doing in the company until he met up with Bischoff earlier that day.
“I remember we hadn’t spoke until that time,” Hall said to Bischoff. “I remember we were driving to Macon, weren’t we E? Yeah, we were going to Macon and we were just kicking around some ideas. My last appearance had been the famous curtain call in Madison Square Garden so I’m really happy. My previous experience at WCW hadn’t been too satisfying but I was in a different spot now. Turner was giving out that guaranteed money and WWE wasn’t at that time. A lot of things changed that night at the Garden. When I left, when Kevin left, everyone started getting guaranteed money. Now, they have these 90-day can’t compete clauses, none of that was going on back in those days.”
Scott Hall On The Day He Invaded Nitro
Hall continued to detail what happened that day on May 27th, 1996.
“We hadn’t spoken at all at that time, everything was just business, it went through Barry Bloom, and we hadn’t talked creative at all,” Hall said after Bischoff pointed out the two had not spoken about creative plans before his debut.
Hall continued to say that there was talk that he would come out of the entrance way and possibly with music. It was then Larry Zbyszko who suggested that Hall come out through the crowd.
Hall came out during a match featuring Mike Enos vs Steve Dunn. Neither were informed ahead of time about what would happen.
“I remember Enos looking at me like ‘what are you doing, man?’ I think that was the start of it being kind of real,” Hall continued.
This week, the guys have thrown the format out the window and are bringing on their first guest! Who better then the man that got the nWo storyline started, Scott Hall! You don't want to miss a minute of this special edition of 83 Weeks! pic.twitter.com/eumXjglnhn

Wrestling veteran Scott Hall, who is going to be inducted into Hall Of Fame this year as part of the nWo alongside Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Sean Waltman recently spoke to Yaz Jung and discussed his career in detail.
The former WCW star, who has had multiple runs with WWE in his long career spanning across four decades has known Vince McMahon for a long time
During the interview, Hall revealed the advice Mr. McMahon used to give to all the wrestlers and according to him, the boss told people to ‘use their face’:
“Vince always told guys to use their face, that’s where the money is … You have to keep an eye on the camera, so in my entrance, I’d usually go and look right to the hard-camera side.” Hall said. “You could see in the nWo days — I’d just look right at the camera and go, ‘I’m the s***!’”
In light of the upcoming Hall Of Fame induction of The British Bulldog, Scott Hall was asked about a potential induction for his tag team partner Thomas Billington aka The Dynamite Kid who passed away in 2018.
Replying to the question, the former WWE star indicated that the company might have reached out to Billington before his passing but he declined the offer:
“Sure, I don’t see why Dynamite wouldn’t go in.. But sometimes the WWE reaches out to guys and for some reason or another they don’t want to be inducted..”
Apart from this, Scott Hall talked about things such as a potential in ring return, WWE spending money on his rehab and more. You can check out his full interview at this link.
AEW Commentator and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross recently discussed Scott Hall on his Grilling JR podcast. The ‘Voice of Wrestling’ was asked on this week’s episode if he believes Scott Hall could’ve been a World Champion if not for his personal demons.
“Oh yeah, absolutely,” JR answered. “Scott’s personal demons are the only negative on his checklist. He had a great mind, still does. Various abilities, as in the machinations of producing and creating a wrestling character angle or storyline? He can work with these very well.”
Ross continued putting over Scott Hall’s aptitude for pro wrestling, but said that his personal demons kept him from achieving his full potential.
“He can be a big heel or can be a big babyface. The only thing that held Scott back? It was reliability. He was such a prisoner to the drugs and the booze. He had a hard time getting past that element. That became his identity at certain points of his career; which is totally unfortunate because he was a hell of a hand in the ring. Really, really good, and he had a great mind.”
Jim Ross on Scott Hall’s Creative
Jim Ross finished by questioning why Scott Hall has not been brought into any wrestling promotions for his creative mind.
“I’m surprised that, of course just may be his own just his decision, but I’m surprised somebody hasn’t nabbed him up .. because I think he’s that good.”
Scott Hall’s son Cody has been working for several promotions over the past couple of years. There’s a chance potentially that a company who brings in Cody may get Scott Hall in a position to help creatively.
Fans of Scott Hall’s are expressing concern today following a cancelled Meet & Greet yesterday. Hall was scheduled to take part in an online session with Dark Parlor Originals but was reportedly not in good enough shape to continue and management decided to end his session early.
Dark Parlor Originals’ Steve Ruiz had the following to say on live chat about the situation (via WrestlingNews.co).
“He was being difficult. They got a late start, Mike was trying to get through everyone’s orders in a timely manner but Hall kept having issues with every inscription or request and had issues with how rushed he felt. Influenced by meds or other substances. He was trying but he wasn’t in a mental state to push through so quickly with so many items in a 4 hour period while being streamed live. Nash could multi task, tell stories and crank out signatures.”
Fans online have been attempting to notify Hall’s friends about his condition.
Dark Parlor Originals then posted the following update this morning:
“Good Morning Guys! I know a lot of people are asking for updates from last nights signing. First, I want that thank everyone who reached out to check on us and to see how we are doing, having that support right now is tremendous and greatly appreciated.”
They then offered up an update on how Hall is doing.
“Scott is back home and is doing ok. I refuse to go into detail about exactly what’s going on or what happened to Scott. His health and safety is top priority and I’m not going to share personal details or information, that is not my business to discuss. I can discuss our business and how it relates to DPO.”
“We ended the feed soon after and everything has been deleted. Our intention was never to put Scott in a bad spot or in a negative situation to make him look bad,” the update continued.
Scott Hall has had numerous issues in the past with substance abuse. He appears to have turned his life around in recent years, most notably after spending time living with Diamond Dallas Page.
Everyone here at SEScoops wishes Scott all the best and hope he is doing well at this time.
Soon to be two-time WWE Hall of Famers Scott Hall and Kevin Nash recently appeared on Corey Graves’ After The Bell podcast. The former ‘Outsiders’ tag team were discussing the nWo faction on the show amid the group’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in April.
Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Syxx, Hulk Hogan and ?
Hall and Nash are being inducted alongside Sean ‘Syxx’ Waltman and Hulk Hogan, two of the bigger members of the eventually inflated group (Hogan of course being the main star and initial leader). During the show Graves asked the pair who they would consider should be appearing with them on stage at the ceremony. Scott Hall mentioned Eric Bischoff, who has been a name brought up by fans and critics alike recently. Kevin Nash however had a more intriguing suggestion:
“Kevin Sullivan. Though this was Eric’s idea, Sullivan was the one that made sure… there’s always been this equation; that if you’re heels, in order for you to be successful…it’s like a hot air balloon. The more you ‘heat’ that balloon the higher it goes.”
Driving Force Behind The ‘Heat’
Nash elaborated further, confirming that Sullivan was one of the driving forces behind the nWo group keeping their ‘heat’ every week. “Sullivan just really battled day in day out to make sure that they didn’t take heat off us. Nobody got to the nWo. And so he [Sullivan] always books heat, his booking of that heat is what made the nWo.”
Scott Hall would then eco Nash’s thoughts, saying “I want to concur Corey. Kevin Sullivan, who I’m a huge fan of, it was like what we call back in the day like a heel Booker. I’m gonna pile on with what Kev said. We were hot coming in the door because we came off Vince’s [McMahon] TV. We were Razor [Ramon] and Diesel, and what are they doing here!? This is before [the] internet, this was before anybody had a cell phone. People thought it was real, people thought Vince sent us there to destroy WCW.”
The nWo will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this April as part of WrestleMania 36.

Outspoken former WWE and WCW Superstar Kevin Nash made some intriguing comments on this week’s edition of the After The Bell podcast. Nash answered a hypothetical question from host Corey Graves; indicating what ‘could’ have happened if ‘Big Daddy Cool’ hadn’t of gone to WCW back in 1996.
Kevin Nash and Scott Hall in WCW
Both Kevin Nash and his ‘Outsiders’ tag team partner Scott Hall completely changed the landscape of professional wrestling when they left the WWF in 1996 to join the rival company: World Championship Wrestling. When it was revealed that Hulk Hogan was also part of their group; the nWo was formed and completely changed WCW’s fortunes at the time. This led to WCW having an impressive 83 week win streak over the then WWF. This with the nWo at the helm.
WrestleMania
“I wouldn’t have dropped the belt” Kevin Nash began. This referring to the WWF Championship that he won in 1994 and eventually dropped in 1995 after indicating that he was leaving the company. “I wouldn’t of dropped the belt to Bret, who would then give it to Shawn [Michaels], unless I was guaranteed to win at WrestleMania. I really wouldn’t have done it. It would have been three big losses in a row. I needed a big win right there.”
The match that Nash is referring to is of course his WrestleMania 12 bout against The Undertaker. This would of course meant the end of Taker’s streak. However, it is worth noting that back in 1996 the ‘streak’ was not being referred to on television. “That could have been a possibility” Nash stated. Nash also claimed that Undertaker would’ve likely been happy to “do business” at the time.
How Things Could’ve Changed
“I’m not saying that would have happened, I’m not saying Vince [McMahon] wouldn’t have put me over, but I definitely wouldn’t have crossed up without something. [But] I was leaving, so man it was just like ‘alright.’ there’s a lot of things that could have changed.”
For fans of Undertaker’s streak it seems advantageous that Nash would leave for the competition at the time. Nash also wanted to make it abundantly clear that he did not want to leave WWF at the time. However the seemingly open chequebook of Turner Broadcasting made it almost impossible for he and Scott Hall/Razor Ramon to stay in the WWF.

Recently on the Jericho Cruise, several former members of the New World Order took part in a panel discussion. During the conversation, the topic of what NWO members should be included in the WWE Hall of Fame induction was brought up. The sentiment amongst the panel was that Eric Bischoff should be one of the members going into the Hall of Fame in Tampa Bay before WrestleMania this year.
“You know how things operate up there, it’s not about what you produced or ticket sales,” Hall said when asked what NWO members should be going in. “I certainly think, I would start with Eric (Bischoff).”
Jericho then chimed in on the topic as well.
“I agree times a thousand,” Jericho said. “I think the reason why (Bischoff’s) probably not going in is there’s still the residual heat.”
“Who knows? I don’t think about it too much,” Bischoff himself mentioned.
Hall then joked that Bischoff only thinks about it every time he does his podcast.
“I think it’s crazy, I’m bummed out that Eric Bischoff is not in on this. I feel bad for that, I actually feel bad about that. It goes without saying,” Waltman said about Bischoff not being included.
Bischoff would later react to Waltman’s comments.
“That’s nice of him to say, but he’s not calling the shots, so it really doesn’t matter. I wish he was. That’d be great. I’d like to hang out with my buddies at WrestleMania, that’d be wonderful, but I don’t worry about that. I knew as soon as I saw that, I go, ‘Oh my gosh, my Twitter feed is going to be overloaded with comments about this, I’m going to be dealing with it now for weeks.’ But I love those guys. Those four guys, especially Hulk, these are guys that I have deep affection for, and respect for, so I couldn’t be happier.”
Scott Hall and Kevin Nash have both been brought into the WWE PC to work with the company’s larger athletes. Both Hall and Nash have worked with the 7ft 3 Nigerian born wrestlers Jordan Omogbehin. The 25-year-old was signed to the company last year and just began wrestling his first professional matches this summer.
Kevin Nash posted the following to Instagram to talk about his time working with Omogbehin:
Scott Hall and Kevin Nash Working With Big Men at WWE PC
Scott Hall spoke to Sean Waltman on his podcast this summer and spoke about working with Omogbehin:
“It was great, I was in Orlando for about 8 or 9 days, cause I went in early. I spoke to Triple H in the past about who’s training the big guys,” Hall said. “So we had a mini big guy summit, I got to watch films with the bigger guys, have one-on-ones with some of them, get in the ring and talk about their different move sets and what they got and stuff.”
Hall then spoke specifically about working with Omogbehin:
“And I saw this new kid they have down there, Jordan {Omogbehin}, big kid about 7’4’ about 440 {lbs}, just a monster, and I was there for his debut match. I got to produce it. And it’s just that connection, you know how it is when you connect with a guy and when he doesn’t know anything and you teach him something.”
WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart recently appeared on Inside The Ropes as part of their live tour, where he had a Q&A session. In the session, Hart claimed that he was once offered the leadership of The Kliq – the backstage group – but the claim was shut down by Kliq members Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.
The Kliq was a powerful backstage group in the WWE during the mid-1990s which consisted of Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman. They were known to wield an immense amount of power and influence within the company. It is known that Hart didn’t really get along with most of the members of the group.
Hart stated that he was offered the head spot for the group, but members Kevin Nash and Scott Hall claim that this never happened. Nash wrote, “F–king news to me. I was the only one he got along with.” And Hall just replied with a “WRONG” to Hart’s claims.
Fucking news to me. I was the only one he got along with.
The next night, Hart responded to Nash and said that he stands by his words.
“It was Scott Hall, Shawn Michaels, and Kevin Nash that approached me in Germany about being the head of the Kliq. That we would all take control of the top matches and we would decide who would work with who, and we would take control of the whole company.”
Bret also added that the Kliq’s plan was to control all the championship titles in the company. Shawn Michaels would only wrestle Sean Waltman and his other friends, and the titles would only revolve around the Kliq and its associates. The plan was to only wrestle with each other while the rest of the roster would stay back in the locker room.
“I don’t wanna be part of anything like that. That’s not fair to other wrestlers,” Bret explained.
“What I said last night in Belfast is absolutely true. Kevin Nash can go to hell.”

WWE has been trying to counter-program AEW’s shows with network special events. With AEW planning to broadcast its weekly show on Wednesdays, the two companies will be in direct competition because NXT currently also airs on the same day on WWE Network.
WWE Hall Of Famer Scott Hall recently spoke to WrestlingInc
where he talked about a number of things and during the interview; he also
discussed the implications of WWE’s development brand going head to head with
the upstart promotion.
Hall said that he has changed his mind and he now thinks that putting up NXT against AEW would be the best idea. He made a comparison with McDonald’s, saying that if you see one it’s likely that you will find Burger King or Wendy’s right next door:
“If you believe in your product, then you put it right
up against the guy. I’m coming in right next door and we’re gonna compete for
the money. It makes everything sharper and better,”
The former WWE star revealed that it was his third or fourth time visiting the PC and he loved it there. He had asked Triple H to let him work with the big guys and claimed that it’s just a different style to teach a big guy compared to a high flyer.
Apart from this, Scott Hall also talked about Shawn Michaels’ class at the performance center, the appointment of the new Executive Directors for Raw and SmackDown and more. You can check out his full interview at this link.
Scott Hall recently joined friend, and former nWo stablemate, Sean Waltman on the latter’s podcast, X-Pac 12360.
The two discussed last week’s RAW Reunion special as Hall reflected on his favorite backstage moment.
“My favorite part of the whole experience was sitting in what they call ‘the legends lounge and just hearing the guys talk and laugh,” Hall said.
“I feel that the wrestling business today is so politically correct that even when the performers talk to each other, they’re real guarded with what they say. […] But in the Legend’s Lounge, a bunch of old-timers like us that came up in a different era when you could talk to a guy using colorful language. It didn’t mean you didn’t like them, it’s just how guys communicated. It’s really fun to hear,” he explained.
One of the former Superstars in attendance was “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. Hall commented on how, since Flair’s multiple health scares, it appears as though Ric looks at life differently.
“Being around Ric Flair these days—it’s always enjoyable, but these last few days—I am not putting words in his mouth but just my take on it: since he had that major health scare, he looks at life differently now.”
“It’s not like he didn’t enjoy life before, but he is completely cool with the point that it might end tomorrow, so I am going to enjoy every moment of every day. And when you’re around somebody like that, it’s kinda fun.”
Hall and Waltman also discussed wanting to put over younger WWE Superstars during their RAW Reunion segment—a wish that was supposedly overruled.
WWE Hall Of Famer Scott Hall was present for this week’s
special reunion episode of Raw and according to the wrestling legend; he also
produced an NXT match during his time around.
Hall was recently a guest on Sean Waltman’s X-Pac 1, 2, 360 podcast where the duo discussed a number of things including the Raw Reunion, how guys train at the performance center and more.
On the topic of the WWE Performance Center, the former WWE
star revealed that he spent more than a week in Orlando because he reached for
the Reunion show early.
During his time there, Scott met with the other ‘big guys’
who are training at the center and he explained that they had a mini ‘big guy
summit’ where he interacted with the big guys in a number of ways.
Continuing on the topic, Hall also revealed that he produced
a match during his trip to the WWE PC and according to him; he produced the
debut match of Jordan Omogbehin.
For those who don’t know, Jordan Omogbehin is a Nigerian professional wrestler. The 7 foot 3 inches tall star played college basketball from 2012 to 2015 and he was signed by WWE back in October last year.
Apart from this, X Pac and Scott Hall also discussed things like CM Punk’s Starrcast booking, NWA ending their relationship with ROH and more. You can check out the full episode of their podcast below:
It was recently reported that Ricochet was meant to be included during a key segment from this past Monday’s RAW Reunion featuring D-Generation X and nWo. Seth Rollins replaced Ricochet after it was revealed Ricochet was suffering from an elbow infection.
On an episode of Sean Waltman’s podcast, X-Pac 12360, the former Superstar discussed the segment with his nWo stablemate, Scott Hall.
Overruled
They addressed the issues some people have had off the back of the reunion show, as the Legends weren’t put into positions to help give current talent a chance to shine.
According to Waltman and Hall, that was the original purpose of their segment with Ricochet. The topic of “burying” the current roster was brought up, and they were, apparently, overruled.
“It was the perfect spot for him because we could’ve given the rub to him,” Scott said. “Yeah, you bunch of haters, it was gonna be Ricochet, and we were trying to elevate him!”
He explained that “What people don’t realize is that everybody in that room when it was presented to us said, ‘Well, geez. Kinda burying those guys.’ It was addressed and it was overruled.”
“We said it,” Waltman added. “It’s just like … what’re we gonna do? Say ‘No, we’re not gonna do it?'”
D-Generation X would come out to assist an outnumbered Seth Rollins against The OC. They would then be further supported by the arrival of nWo members Kevin Nash and Scott Hall.
Yesterday, it was reported that Scott Hall was calling out Vanguard Championship Wrestling for falsely advertising him. Today, the promotion has responded, stating Hall committed to the date and even posted a video promoting his appearance.
“ATTENTION PLEASE: Hey yo VCW please stop advertising me for an appearance you never contacted me about. I will NOT be at the VCW event on June 15th. Thanks”
The promotion has now responded to Hall. They posted the following on their Facebook page:
“Scott Hall has canceled his appearance with VCW on June 15th. Due to circumstances beyond our control, Scott Hall took another booking the same date. After he posted public messages on Twitter, VCW Management reached out to Hall to remind him that he had made a commitment to us to appear in Norfolk, to make up for a prior canceled appearance for health reasons in July of 2017. This commitment is in writing, with specific terms.”
“Hall had also announced his appearance in a promotional video that was published one month ago.”
“It is unfortunate that anyone would conduct business in this manner in 2019”, said VCW Promoter Travis Bradshaw. “It is our priority to provide what we advertise, and our fans deserve better from the talent that commit to appear”. Tweets that alleged that VCW had advertised without making contact have since been removed.”
“Anyone that has pre-purchased tickets and autograph appearances in advance will be contacted and granted a full refund on their autograph packages, and an optional refund on their ticket to the event. We are working diligently to find a suitable replacement, but rest assured the event will go on. VCW fans can expect the same action-packed card that is being advertised!”
It appears as though an independent promotion has been falsely advertising WWE Hall Of Famer, Scott Hall, for an upcoming event. They may have gotten away with it, too, until “The Bad Guy” found out.
Vanguard Championship Wrestling has allegedly been adverting Hall for a “special guest appearance” during their June 15th show, which takes place in Norfolk, Virginia.
As of writing, the company are still advertising Hall’s appearance, with a prominent post at the top of their website. His name and image are also used on other advertising materials for the event, such as flyers, etc.
The Good Guy
Hall, upon seeing this, took to Twitter to put things straight:
“ATTENTION PLEASE : Hey yo VCW please stop advertising me for an appearance you never contacted me about. I will NOT be at the VCW event on June 15 th . Thanks”
Unfortunately, some fans have already bought tickets based on the opportunity to meet Scott Hall, as one Twitter interaction demonstrates. When one fan reached out to him, Hall responded:
“Never heard from anyone connected to that company and have been booked in Texas on that date for months”
Another pointed out that, by pointing out that he’s not going to be there, Hall has, in essence, given the promotion free advertising. Hall replied, saying he “Just wanted fans to know in advance so they don’t get ripped off” before informing everyone that he has a booking that day—it just happens to be in Texas.
Not known as an organization that backs down from controversy — or the chance to make some extra cash — the nWo could be bound for Saudi Arabia. That is, if nWo founding member Scott Hall gets his way.
Hall, who was a part of last weekend’s 2 Sweet nWo Reunion show in Orlando, Florida, shared his thoughts on the controversy that surrounded the WWE in the lead up to, during, and wake of their Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.
He believes that the WWE did the right thing in adhering to their agreement and forging ahead with the Crown Jewel show, despite critical worldwide attention being shone on the country and its government.
“Well, Kevin [Nash] and I just did an nWo Reunion last weekend at Hulk’s Beach Shop in Orlando with the WWE’s blessing,” said Hall. “It’s the first time Hulk’s been welcomed back into the fold, and I’m happy he’s back. There’s a lot of backlash [regarding WWE Crown Jewel] but I saw JBL on a show last weekend talking about… by boycotting stuff, that doesn’t solve anything. He used Cuba as a reference. We boycotted Cuba forever, and what did that get us? Nothing. Nothing changed there. The people, their quality of life never improved. So I agree with that.”
He concluded by expressing “staying away is not the answer,” before reflecting that “we’re not a bunch of politicians. We’re entertainers, we’re ‘rasslers’, we’re not involved in all that global…stuff. That’s the way I look at it. I’d be happy to go, Vince. If you want to bring the nWo over there the next time, let me know.”
Ticket packages and prices have been released for the upcoming NWO reunion show taking place at the end of the month. While the price of admission is not cheap, the level of access to the Superstars involved will be significant. Prices range from $200 to $1000 and include photo-ops, collectibles, and access to the Q&A session.
Ahead of the nWo reunion event later this month, Kevin Nash spoke to the Sporting News about his career, the state of the business today, and the future of wrestling.
Among the interview’s highlights were Nash’s comments on the upcoming Triple H vs. Undertaker match at WWE Super Show-Down.
When pressed about why a younger wrestler might not be getting the shot to work with The Undertaker, Nash made some rather pointed comments about the stars of today.
“No one cares about the young guys,” said Nash. “You going to put Finn [Balor] in there versus The Undertaker? [Seth] Rollins? Who are you going to put?”
Nash went on to offer his critique of today’s in-ring style, intimating that it will prevent longevity.
“Those guys aren’t going to have 30 years in the business. This style won’t allow these guys to last 30 years. Rollins already had a couple knee operations, but he’s a great worker. I just don’t see these guys even lasting 20 years because of their bodies and the concussion syndrome,” Nash said.
Nash also discussed what made the nWo cool, and how it had almost nothing to do with wrestling.
“Wrestling was dead. What was over at that point basically was West Coast Rap,” Nash said.
You can find more information on the upcoming nWo reunion here.
Former WWE Intercontinental Champion and Hall of Famer Scott Hall appeared as part of Starrcast earlier today. The ‘Bad Guy’ joined nWo members Sean Waltman/X-Pac and Kevin Nash as part of the ‘1-2-360’ degrees panel.
Hall made some interesting points regarding his original WWE contract and how he ‘jumped ship’ to WCW. Hall joking remarked that “I got all the heat” when he and Kevin Nash left for the rival promotion, this led to the revelation that Hall “didn’t get a royalty [cheque] from WWE for 15 years.”
The Bad Guy followed up this revelation with a humorous story involving the Ultimate Warrior. Warrior is another star that left WWE on extremely bad terms in the mid 90’s and was also brought back into the fold in 2014. Warrior reportedly held Vince McMahon up for money before the Summerslam 1991 PPV event.
Hall had a conversation with Warrior at the 2014 Hall of Fame where he told Warrior “it feels great to be back, I didn’t get a cheque for 15 years.” Warrior looked at Hall and simply replied “EIGHTEEN.”

It looks like a possible NWO reunion actually could be coming in some capacity.
For the past few weeks Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan have been teasing bringing back the black and white to professional wrestling. Hogan confirmed on Twitter that the trio reunited to film some NWO material.
He posted the following teaser of himself, Nash and Hall in a black and white video spray painting a WCW World Title. Watch the video from “The Hulkster” here:
Perhaps this could go hand-and-hand with what Hogan was teasing earlier this month. While appearing at a National Sports Collectors Convention in Cleveland, Hogan teased a big announcement coming on his website:
“All the brothers out here with the nWo shirts on, something really special is going to be going down,” Hogan said.
“Just remember, the date, October 27. Go to HulkHogan.com, something very special is gonna happen October 27.”
When you visit Hogan’s website, the following message appears at the top with a countdown graphic to October 27th:
“Something big is coming and it’s going to be 2 sweet brother – Hollywood HH
Save the date, October 27th.”
Discussion: What do you think Hogan’s big announcement will be? Do you think it’s NWO related? Let us now your thoughts in the comments!

Recently reinstated WWE Hall Of Famer Hulk Hogan took to Twitter today to celebrate Flashback Friday. Hogan Tweeted an old photo of himself with fellow NWO members Scott Hall and Kevin Nash.
Scott Hall retweeted Hogan’s photo, and added in an interesting comment. Hall asked if the trio should reunite soon. Not only did he ask, but he actually dared “The Third Man”:
NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa is absolutely relentless – inside and out of the ring.
Ciampa’s rival and former tag team partner, Johnny Gargano, recently Tweeted out a photo of a sign his wife Candice LeRae’s niece made. The sign also contained the following poem:
“Roses are red, your eyes are blue. We have five fingers. One is for you.”
Ciampa ran across this on his timeline and let LeRae’s little niece have it:
Earlier in the day “Blackheart” also put himself over in a big way. He noted that NXT TakeOver: New Orleans and NXT TakeOver: Chicago were the two he two highest grossing and most viewed TakeOvers in NXT history.
He also pointed out that Wednesday’s episode of NXT, which featured Ciampa’s NXT Title win, was the most viewed episode in NXT history. What do they all have in common? Tommaso Ciampa:
