– The following is the latest video in the “My First WrestleMania” series, which features Sheamus talking about his experiences in his first ever WrestleMania.
For those wondering who will be inducting this year’s inductees for the 2014 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame, here is a breakdown of what we know thus far.
– The Ultimate Warrior will be inducted by Linda McMahon.
– Jake “The Snake” Roberts will be inducted by Diamond Dallas Page (DDP).
– Paul Bearer will be inducted by his sons Michael and Daniel Moody.
– Mr. T will be inducted by Hulk Hogan.
– Lita will be inducted by Trish Stratus.
– Carlos Colon will be inducted by his sons Carlito and Eddie (Diego), and his nephew Orlando (Fernando).
– As far as Scott Hall (as Razor Ramon) is concerned, no one is confirmed as the guy who will be inducting him, however Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels are the leading candidates at this point.
Apparently the reason WWE decided to induct Scott Hall into the WWE Hall Of Fame under his “Razor Ramon” character is in fact due to plans for a future nWo induction, where he would of course be himself.
In a related note, there has been discussion regarding the possibility of inducting Kevin Nash under his “Diesel” character in WWE, saving his induction under his real name, along with Hall, for the future nWo induction.
The following is the official preview video for the upcoming WrestleMania weekend party at the House Of Blues with Scott Hall and Jake Roberts.

As of right now the leading candidate for Scott Hall’s WWE Hall Of Fame inductor is Kevin Nash. Whether or not he would be introducing him as Diesel is another question. An outside shot for Hall’s inductor would be Shawn Michaels due to their famous WrestleMania X ladder match, although most seem to feel that Nash is the more likely candidate.
The Paul Bearer induction is an interesting one, mainly because Undertaker has never attended a WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony due to the belief that it doesn’t fit his character. At the same time, Undertaker is clearly the obvious choice for Bearer, so many are curious to see how that one is handled.
While there have been some rumors that the reason WWE is inducting Scott Hall as “Razor Ramon” to the WWE Hall Of Fame this year is because they plan to induct him again as Scott Hall next year as part of a faction-induction with the nWo, that likely won’t be the case, at least not in 2015.
From all accounts, it appears as though WWE is hoping to induct The Rock next year, and the guys in the nWo (Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall) probably won’t want to be inducted the same year as Rock, as they would likely be featured as the “co-main event” of the ceremony with The Rock being the obvious headliner.
– It was announced on Monday’s edition of WWE RAW that at WrestleMania XXX, AJ Lee will defend her WWE Divas Championship in a “Vickie Guerrero Diva Invitational” match. The match will feature AJ Lee against Naomi, Cameron, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Natalya, Eva Marie, Emma, Aksana, Alicia Fox, Summer Rae, Rosa Mendes, Layla and Tamina Snuka.
– It was also confirmed on RAW this week that Scott Hall (aka Razor Ramon) will be inducted into the 2014 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame.
As previously reported, Scott Hall and Jake “The Snake” Roberts will be hosting a party in New Orleans during WrestleMania XXX week. Hall’s former nWo running buddy Kevin Nash noted via Twitter that he will not be in attendance at their party. Hall was originally scheduled to appear at Nash’s party, but will instead be attending his own party with Roberts.
Nash tweeted the following on Monday night regarding the WrestleMania weekend party-confusion:
I'm not going to be at Scott's party have been throwing my own for four years at every Mania
The following was recently added to Diamond Dallas Page’s official YouTube channel:
A Night With Wrestling Legends @ House of Blues New Orleans!
A Night With Wrestling Legends hosted by Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Scott “Razor Ramon” Hall.
House of Blues – April 4th, 2014 – 8pm to Midnight
In the center of the biggest professional wrestling week of the year, the New Orleans House of Blues will be hosting an exclusive night with wrestling legends, Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Scott “Razor Ramon” Hall. In their unique styles, both will be sharing stories and offering an interactive Q & A. Additional celebrity guests will be announced soon.
At one point, Carlos Colon’s induction into the 2014 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame was to be announced at this past Monday’s edition of WWE RAW. For whatever reason, likely a timing issue, they decided to hold off.
Colon had reportedly been on the short list of legends that WWE intended to induct this year, which at the time included Paul Bearer, Lita, Ultimate Warrior, Jake Roberts, Scott Hall and Mr. T.
According to one source, Colon likely received word about his WWE Hall Of Fame induction in the last week or two.
Colon’s induction announcement will air on this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown.
WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart was the latest guest on WWE’s “30 Years of WrestleMania” podcast over at PodcastOne.com. Here are some highlights of what the Hitman said about:
Original plans for WrestleMania 2:“I was initially told quite excitedly, that I would be wrestling Ricky Steamboat, which was a dream for me, that would have been a big moment for me. Then they changed it about a month before WrestleMania, you are going to be in the battle royal with the football players, and I remember going, uch, that’s not going to be anywhere near the same thing. I would have a great match with Ricky Steamboat.”
His favorite WrestleMania Match: “I would probably say the Iron Man match, but it’s so long I don’t really have time to take an hour to watch it, it’s really a study that match. I would recommend that any young wrestler if they really want to watch a good match where they might learn something, it would probably be that Iron Man match. But just for time reasons, I always loved the match I had with Steve Austin, just because it delivers so much. It was a beautiful story.”
Almost Fighting Roddy Piper After Their WrestleMania 8 Match: “Well, the truth is, when we finished the match, we almost got into it in the back. Because Roddy had kicked me in the face and busted me open, and there was a little tension from that when I came back. I remember that Chief Jay Strongbow had to kinda get between us, and we had to cool our heels for an hour before we could at least thank each other for the match.”
Who He Wishes He Could Have Wrestled At WrestleMania: “I’d have like to put Hulk Hogan in the sharpshooter if he had shown up.”
Shawn Michaels & Razor Ramon’s ladder match at WrestleMania X: “I felt totally ripped off. I had told Vince the idea since the very first day that I got there that I’ve got this idea about a ladder match that we been doing up in Calgary. Everytime I sat down with Vince I would always say, I’ve got this idea for a match but you’ve got to promise me you won’t do it with anybody else. One day he did ask me to show him the watch so that he could have an idea, so I went and found Shawn, and it’s one of those matches that’s on a video but we kinda just went out there and did a dry run just to show Vince what the match was, it wasn’t the greatest ladder match, nor was it intended to be. But it was a match to show the bare bones of it to Vince. I remember when it was over I knocked on Vince’s door and said did you see it, and he said he missed it. Scott Hall, not Scott Hall but Razor Ramon saw the match, of course Shawn was in the match so he kinda got to think hey this is a great idea, and so they went to Vince without my permission and stole my idea took the match. They had a great match at WrestleMania X but it wasn’t the wrestlers that were great, it was the match that was great.”
– WWE legend Scott Hall is still expected to be announced as one of the inductees WWE Hall of Fame’s Class of 2014.
His longtime friend Sean “X-Pac” Waltman would induct him.
– Jake Roberts visited his doctor on Tuesday to get a medical update following his recent surgery to remove a cancerous tumor behind his knee. He tweeted:
No news from the Doc. Test results not back yet. Supposed to be any day now. Stitches out. Will tweet pics later.
As seen on Monday’s RAW, Paul Bearer joins The Ultimate Warrior, Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Amy “Lita” Dumas as the inductees in the 2014 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame. The two names that are being bandied about that have yet to be announced are Scott Hall and Mr. T.
In the case of Mr. T, there is a chance that he won’t be inducted simply as another addition to the celebrity wing of the Hall Of Fame, but instead a joint-induction that would include all of the WrestleMania I main event participants, which include Hulk Hogan, “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff and “Cowboy” Bob Orton.
– With Scott Hall possibly being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year, many within the company are under the impression that Kevin Nash is a lock to be inducted as well.
– Apparently Vince McMahon has promised people in the company that he will not sleep at all during WrestleMania XXX week.
Regarding the rumors that Scott Hall will be inducted into the 2014 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame, sources claim that he is indeed on the current list of inductees.
As far as the speculation that Diamond Dallas Page may be inducted along with Hall and Jake “The Snake” Roberts, both of whom he helped get sober over the past year, he is said to not be on the list of this year’s inductees.
– WWE.com has announced that The New Age Outlaws will defend the tag team championships against The Usos at Sunday’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. The article states:
“Though The Usos have youth on their side, they have a fraction of the experience of their opponents, who are six-time tag team champions. As Road Dogg himself has pointed out on commentary, he and Gunn used to war with Rikishi. Is it possible that the Outlaws’ strategy is too proven, too battle-tested, for The Usos to beat?”
– Amid speculation that Scott Hall will be part of the WWE Hall of Fame’s Class of 2014, Hall is no longer scheduled to appear at the WrestleCon fan fest taking place in New Orleans the same day of the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony.
As previously reported, Scott Hall recently added to the rumors that he will be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year when he pointed out that his Twitter account became “verified” at the same time as Jake “The Snake” Roberts, Ultimate Warrior and Lita.
– WWE Hall Of Famer “Mean” Gene Okerlund has recently opened a new official website. Okerlund noted that he will be posting weekly blogs on the site, which you can check out at TheGeneOkerlund.com.
– There is some speculation online that Scott Hall’s induction to the WWE Hall Of Fame will be announced this coming Monday night during RAW.
As previously reported, there has been talk within WWE recently regarding the possibility of inducting Scott Hall (aka Razor Ramon) into the 2014 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame during WrestleMania XXX weekend in April.
To support these rumors, Hall’s official Twitter account has recently been “verified,” much like Jake “The Snake” Roberts, The Ultimate Warrior and Amy “Lita” Dumas’ were, all of whom have been announced for the 2014 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame.
Additionally, Hall himself recently tweeted the following comments:
F4WOnline.com recently confirmed rumors that Paul Bearer is considered a lock for a spot in this year’s WWE Hall Of Fame class. Other names that are rumored to be inducted this year include Scott Hall and Cyndi Lauper.
Additionally, Stephanie McMahon is reportedly working on trying to lock in another big name for a spot in this year’s WWE Hall Of Fame class. As of right now, there is no definite word as to who Stephanie is working on.
– The premiere of the WWE Studios film “Christmas Bounty” starring The Miz drew 828,000 viewers on ABC Family on Tuesday night. The movie drew a 0.3 cable rating in the adult 18-49 demographic.
– As previously reported, Chris Benoit’s son David Benoit is interested in becoming a professional wrestler. Benoit has trained with Harry Smith, among others recently, and along with Scott Hall’s son Cody Hall is attempting to see if he can get into the New Japan Pro Wrestling dojo. Benoit’s ultimate goal is to apparently get to WWE one day.
