Paul Heyman Rather Watch Commercials Than RAW, Seth Rollins Calls Out Drew McIntyre (Video)

Heyman Rather Watch Commercials Than RAW

Glenn Rubenstein of Wrestling Inc. Tweeted out a mention to Paul Heyman during last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW, asking if The Advocate was watching the show.

Heyman responded by saying that RAW is built around challengers instead of a once in a lifetime athlete like Brock Lesnar. Heyman then said that the commercials were actually the best part of the show:

Rollins Calls Out Drew McIntyre

Last night Seth Rollins was on the verge of recapturing the Intercontinental Championship from Dolph Ziggler. Rollins and Ziggler main evented the show and were putting on an absolute classic.

Initially McIntyre accompanied Ziggler to the ring but was thrown out backstage by the referee during the match. Just when it looked like Rollins was about to win the match, McIntyre came out to break things up and attacked Rollins. The Architect won the match via disqualification, however, the title could not change hands.

Backstage WWE pulled Rollins aside for an interview. Rollins said he’ll stomp on McIntyre’s face and knock his teeth out for standing in his way of the Intercontinental Title:

WWE Follows The Young Bucks On Twitter, What Happened After RAW?

WWE Follows A Young Buck On Twitter

There have been plenty of rumors going around as to whether or not the WWE could sign The Young Bucks to a deal soon. The Bucks are currently enjoying success with Ring Of Honor (ROH) and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), as well as selling out their self-funded All In event with Cody Rhodes.

WWE’s Twitter page shows that they recently followed Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks, sparking some speculation from fans on social media. Here’s a screenshot of who WWE is following:

What Happened After RAW?

The dark match main event for Monday Night RAW last night was Elias vs. Jinder Mahal. Unfortunately the match never got to finish as both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns hit the ring and attacked both Elias and Mahal.

They celebrated with the crowd after clearing the ring to send them home happy and end the show.

Seth Rollins Comments On Failing To Regain Intercontinental Championship

Last night on Raw, Seth Rollins appeared to be poised to win back the Intercontinental Championship. Instead, Drew McIntyre interfered and caused a disqualification. Rollins would be saved from an aftermatch beatdown by Roman Reigns, however.

At the end of the show, it was Rollins and Reigns standing in the ring together but Ziggler is still the Intercontinental Champion. WWE correspondents caught up with Rollins after the show.

“I put in a lot of work this week and I was ready for everything,” Rollins said.”I had it all planned out in my head, I had Dolph covered for the 1-2-3 and the plan came unraveled just like that.”

“Drew McIntyre is not just a problem,” Rollins continued. “He is the problem.”

Seth Rollins’ Intercontinental Championship Reign

Rolins’ reign with the Intercontinental Championship lasted from April 8th, 2018 (WrestleMania 34) to the June 18th, 2018 edition of Raw. During that time, Rollins defended the title 7 times on WWE programming. He defeated Balor, Joe and the Miz at the Greatest Royal Rumble in a ladder match. Rollins also defeated Finn Balor, the Miz, Mojo Rawley, Kevin Owens, and Elias on Raw. He held onto the title via a DQ loss to Jinder Mahal on the May 28th, 2018 Raw as well.

In addition to his televised title defenses, Rollins also defended the belt on several live event shows. He usually defeated either Elias or Jinder Mahal on these tours.

The Shield Reunion?

With Roman and Rollins looking like they will be teaming up against McIntyre and Ziggler, it’s possible WWE will return to the Shield reunion angle when Dean Ambrose is medically cleared.

“Ambrose is the man,” Rollins said shortly after it was revealed Ambrose would miss WrestleMania 34. “He’ll be back. It’s not about Wrestlemania this year, it’s about Wrestlemania next year and the year after that. It’s about the long term.”

Top Rope Breaks During Main Event Of Sunday’s WWE Live Event

A unique situation occurred a recent WWE live event.

The sports entertainment held a RAW branded live event on Sunday night in Anaheim, CA at the Honda Center that was headlined by Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins defeating WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre in a tag team match.

During the match, the top rope broke but the performers continued the match, which eventually saw the babyfaces go over. Fans who were in attendance posted these videos/photos on social media to document the situation.

Daniel Bryan Gives Props To Big Cass, Seth Rollins On Retaining Intercontinental Title

Daniel Bryan Props

WWE booked Daniel Bryan against Big Cass in a singles match at Sunday’s (June 17, 2018) WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view event in Chicago, Illinois at the Allstate Arena on the WWE Network, which ended up serving as the opening match for the show.

Bryan picked up the win and spoke about it with Dasha Fuentes after the match. Bryan noted that he was impressed with Cass as he has been training hard with Drew Gulak to prepare for this match.

The former World Champion would go onto say that although he got the best that Big Cass had to offer, the big man got tired and he had no choice but to tap to the Heel Hook.

Seth Rollins Retains

Seth Rollins was able to successfully retain the WWE Intercontinental Title over Elias at this pay-per-view event.

Following the match, Rollins did an interview where he talked about Elias giving him more of a fight than he originally expected but he’s a fighting champion and that’s what life is all about. He added that he can’t wait to see what’s next for him as Intercontinental Champion.

Seth Rollins Hangs Out With NJPW Star, Batista Praises CM Punk For Recent Comments

Rollins Hangs With NJPW Star

WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins took to Twitter last night and noted that he hung out with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) star Juice Robinson on Wednesday. Rollins said that Robinson is one of his favorite people, and put him over as the future of NJPW.

Unfortunately, The Architect said he and Robinson were having so much fun that they forgot to take a picture together:

Batista Praises Punk For Anti-Trump Comments

Former WWE Champion CM Punk is gearing up to make his second UFC appearance tomorrow night, when he takes on fellow 0-1 record holder Mike Jackson on the main card of the UFC 225 pay-per-view (PPV) in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

During a media scrum, Punk was asked about the current controversy surrounding Super Bowl winners The Philadelphia Eagles not visiting the White House this year, as per tradition.

When asked if he’d ever accept an invitation to the White House from United States President Donald Trump, Punk claimed he wouldn’t and called Trump a racist:

This comment received praise from former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Batista, who took to Twitter and said “just another reason to love this dude!!”:

Seth Rollins Tweets Praise For NJPW Star and Former WWE Prospect

Seth Rollins recently let his Twitter followers know he spent some time with a former WWE prospect. Rollins met up with former NXT Superstar and current NJPW wrestler, Juice Robinson.

Juice Robinson in NJPW

Robinson competed under the name CJ Parker in WWE. He worked an overly aggressive hippie gimmick. In an interview he gave to Chris Jericho earlier this year, Robinson said he was given the gimmick after putting his hair into dreadlocks. The 2-dimensional gimmick didn’t seem to have a long shelf life, however, so he made arrangements to leave the company.

Head NXT trainer, Matt Bloom, made arrangements for him to transfer to the New Japan dojo. Bloom, as Giant Bernard, is a former NJPW star himself and knew who to contact. Since arriving in NJPW in 2015, Robinson has slowly been moving up the ranks. In fact, Robinson made it all the way to the semi-finals of the New Japan Cup this year before losing to Hiroshi Tanahashi. The eventual tournament winner was Zack Sabre Jr.

What’s Next For Seth Rollins?

It has been 2 months since Seth Rollins won the Intercontinental Championship. He won the title in a triple threat match against the Miz and Finn Balor at WrestleMania 34. Since that time, Rollins has played the role of the fighting champion who defends his title often.

So far, Rollins has defended the title successfully 6x on WWE programming. He defended the title in a ladder match against Balor, Samoa Joe, and Miz at the Greatest Royal Rumble. Meanwhile, on Raw, he has defended the title another 5x. He’s defeated Finn Balor, the Miz, Mojo Rawley, and Kevin Owens. He lost a match to Jinder Mahal via DQ on May 28th, 2018 edition of Raw as well.

At the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view in Chicago, Rollins will defend the IC title against Elias.

Seth Rollins’ Finisher Receives New Name, The B-Team On Big RAW Win

Seth Rollins’ Finisher Name

WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins has once again received a new name for his finishing move. It first went by the Curb Stomp then to Peace of Mind and Blackout. Now, WWE has decided to call it The Stomp.

Rollins is slated to make his next Intercontinental Title defense against Elias at the upcoming Money in the Bank pay-per-view event on Sunday, June 17, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois at the Allstate Arena and will air on the WWE Network.

The B-Team Making Moves

Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel won a tag team battle royal on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW in Houston, TX at the Toyota Center on the USA Network to earn the right to be the new #1 contenders for the RAW Tag Team Titles.

Now, they will challenge Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt for the titles at the Money in the Bank PPV event. Following the match, WWE released this interview with the team celebrating. In the video, Axel and Dallas noted that they’re undefeated.

The Shield Split: 4 Years On

4 years ago, with the swing of a chair, Seth Rollins bought an end to one of the most dominant and popular stables in recent WWE history, The Shield. At the time it seemed to make little to no sense. The trio of Rollins, Reigns and Ambrose were at their collective height, and coming off a winning feud with Evolution, they looked rubber-stamped to rule over the company, side by side, for years to come.

However, hindsight is a wonderful thing, and as time has shown, the end of The Shield was just the beginning, leading to all three Hounds of Justice to ride the momentum of their implosion to successful singles careers, the likes of which seemed just out of reach when they were together.

The break-up was the catalyst for a new era in WWE, and all three stars have continued to lead the company ever since, though obviously some have been more successful than others.

Dean Ambrose

Dean Ambrose bio

Whilst part of The Shield, Ambrose was painted as the de facto leader. He was their mouth-piece; a charismatic psychopath greenlit to carry the trio with the kind of frenetic unpredictability he has since become synonymous with. So when the split came, it was assumed he would be the first of the three to get a rocket strapped to his back.

This was not the case, and it would be two years before The Lunatic Fringe got his chance to hold a World Title, becoming the last of the trio to do so. A dilution of his character from the whirling ball of madness to just being “a wacky guy” also didn’t help.

Even though he hasn’t quite lit the main event scene alight as much as his former compadres, his post-Shield C.V. consists of one Tag Team Title reign, two Intercontinental Championships, a Money In The Bank victory and the aforementioned WWE World Heavyweight reign. He was however the first of the three to become a GrandSlam Champion.

Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns bio 5c14cb3de4bd5254d51975d58576d828

4 Wrestlemania main events in a row. That should be all you need to know about Roman Reigns standing in the company ever since the split. Whilst he was the most unpolished, and least critically popular of the three at the time, he was almost immediately christened as “The Guy” by the company, and has basically lived rent-free in the main event scene ever since.

Whilst some fans disdain for being made to accept Reigns as the face of company has reached john Cena-esque levels of pantomime, Roman has, in the ring at least, lived up to his billing, putting on excellent matches with everyone from AJ Styles, Brock Lesnar, Kevin Owens and even against his former brethren.

Despite his top guy status, he just misses out on being the most decorated of the three, with one US Title run, one IC run, three WWE World Heavyweight Championships and one (notoriously ill-fated) Royal Rumble win.

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins bio 5b959c76bc8187e0697952267151501d

The Architect of The Shield’s demise, at the time Rollins was considered to be the one most at risk of slipping through the cracks and getting lost in the shuffle of WWE’s burgeoning roster. Oh how wrong we were. Becoming’s The Authority’s hand picked champion, Rollins has been on absolute tear these past 4 years, gaining a reputation as one of the best wrestlers not only in the company, but on the planet.

From lasting over an hour in a gauntlet match, to defending titles in eight separate countries on four different continents in the space of 4 weeks, he has growing into a beast of a workhorse for the company. All those miles and hours he has put in have not gone unrewarded, with him being the most successful member of The Shield in terms of silverware.

The KingSlayer has two post-split Tag Team Title runs to his name, along with one reign a piece with the Intercontinental and US belts. He also is a two-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, one of which came about from a Money In The Bank win.

While a reunion has been teased and even attempted (you can’t really count late 2017 as the wheels fell off well before it was even out of the garage), and it would be insanely profitable for the company, you’ve got to commend the WWE for not fully pulling that particular trigger. It’s refreshing to see them hold off for so long and bank on all three to individually carry the company, becoming some of the biggest stars they have at their disposal.

4 years on from a moment that genuinely shocked and surprised audiences around the world, the break-up of The Shield has proved to be beneficial not only to the three individuals who ran roughshod over the company for two years, but also for the WWE, fans and wrestling as a whole.

What did you make of The Shield’s split, and it’s impact on the landscape of the WWE? Let us know in the comments section below.

Intercontinental Championship To Be Defended At Money In The Bank, Updated Match Card

While the match card for Money In The Bank is pretty stacked already, many believed there is still space for a couple of more matches and the company has now announced a new bout for the show.

As seen this Monday Night on Raw, Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins interrupted Elias’ musical performance and went on to have a title match with the former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal.

This match ended in a disqualification and after the bout, Elias came out of nowhere and attacked the Champion, smashing his guitar into Rollins’ back.

This feud which started on Raw continued afterward. After the show, Seth had a twitter exchange with the Drifter which culminated with the former Shield Member agreeing to defend his title at the upcoming PPV:

This is the 9th match which has been announced officially for the upcoming show but with the expected change to the PPV runtime, there shouldn’t be a problem in fitting this bout into the card.

After the latest announcement here is the updated match card for the upcoming Money In The Bank PPV:

Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match: Braun Strowman vs. Finn Balor vs. The Miz vs. Rusev vs. Kevin Owens vs. Bobby Roode vs. Samoa Joe vs. A Member Of New Day

The Miz On How Seth Rollins Is Doing As IC Champion

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz recently did an interview with SPORTbible to talk about several professional wrestling topics. Miz first talked about how fans make too big a deal out of WWE records:

“I feel like I have done so much in WWE that we just make up stuff now! It’s like, ‘I’ve had more combined days than every superstar besides one to be the Intercontinental champion!’ Is it cool? Sure. Do we make a bigger deal of it now, with social media? Absolutely.

“I wouldn’t even be able to tell you unless people tell me on the internet, ‘Hey, guess what – you have x amount of combined days until you are beating Pedro Morales for the longest-reigning Intercontinental champion, or, ‘You need one more reign to tie Chris Jericho!’ I think you guys care about it a little bit more than I do.”

Miz then offered his thoughts on how current Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins is doing as the strap’s holder:

“I think Seth is doing a fantastic job with the Intercontinental championship. He’s had it for maybe a month and has probably defended it more times than I have in the past year! He’s on a hot-streak right now.

“His song says ‘Burn it down!’ and every time he goes out there that’s exactly what he tries to do. He elevates superstars every time they are in the ring; I saw a match with Mojo Rawley and it was the best match I have ever seen Mojo in, in his entire career.

“That just shows you not only how good Mojo is, he was able to showcase, but how good Seth Rollins really is. I don’t think he can elevate it any more than I already have but I think he’ll keep it at that same level.”

Seth Rollins Believes The Undertaker Should Retire

Seth Rollins has given his take on The Undertaker.

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion recently took part in a quick Q&A with Give Me Sport where he talked about a wide range of topics. One of those topics was about The Deadman.

Over the past few years, he has gone from being a full-time talent to a part-timer. After years of speculation of when Taker would retire from pro wrestling, it once appeared that he had his farewell at WrestleMania 33 in the main event against Roman Reigns last year in Orlando, Florida.

After the match, Taker put his gloves and hat in the middle of the ring before leaving. It turns out that Taker decided to wrestle again as he took on John Cena at WrestleMania 34 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana on the WWE Network.

Then the future WWE Hall of Famer beat Rusev in a Casket Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event back in April in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the King Abdullah International Stadium.

In this Q&A, Rollins was asked if Taker should retire from pro wrestling, which he responded by saying “Yes.”

Rollins was also asked about his favorite WrestleMania match of all-time which he responded by stating the Submission Match between Steve Austin and Bret Hart at WrestleMania 13 in 1997.

Disappointing Viewership For Total Bellas Season 3 Premiere

Total Bellas returned on Sunday night with the premiere of the series’ third season.  With all of the buzz surrounding the volatile relationship of John Cena and Nikki Bella, there were high expectations for the show’s viewership.

According to Showbuzz Daily, the Season 3 premiere averaged only 517,000 viewers.

This was way down from last year’s Season 2 premiere, which did 681,000 viewers. The Season 2 finale last October had 674,000 viewers. That’s a decline of approximately 23% in between seasons, so interest in the show is clearly waning.

This season is focused around John Cena and Nikki Bella’s relationship unwinding and Daniel Bryan’s return to WWE active competition.

Here are some video clips from the Total Bellas Season 3 premiere:

Championship Match Teased For Raw, Fans On Stipulation For AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura Match

Fans on stipulation for AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Shinsuke Nakamura made it clear that he and AJ Styles are not finished yet during the latest episode of SmackDown Live and it’s very likely that they’ll have at least one more match in near future.

WWE.com recently held a poll asking fans about the stipulation they want to see in the next match between the WWE Champion and the Japanese Star.

As of this writing, A Last Man Standing match is leading the poll with 33% votes followed by an Iron Man Match at 31% and an Extreme Rules match at 18%.

Championship Match Teased For Raw

It appears that the Intercontinental Championship open challenge of Seth Rollins could continue on next week’s episode of Raw as well and we can see another title match taking place at the show.

Rollins recently made a post from his Official Twitter account saying that he is highly considering to hold another open challenge this Monday in London:

Seth Rollins promised to be a fighting champion while celebrating his Backlash victory over the Miz during the latest episode of Raw and said that he doesn’t want to be like the former Title holder.

Living up to his promise, Rollins then issued an open challenge to anyone in the locker room. The challenge was answered by Mojo Rawley who was defeated by the Champion after a decent bout.

Seth Rollins On Historic IC Title Feat, Big Cass Takes Credit For Rusev’s SDL Win (Video)

Seth Rollins On His Historic Intercontinental Title Feat

WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins recently took to Twitter to comment on himself completing a historic feat as Intercontinental Champ. Rollins noted that he was getting set to defend his title on a fourth continent in three weeks.

That doesn’t seem to be enough for The Architect, however, as he followed up by saying he wants even more:

Big Cass Takes Credit For Rusev’s SDL Win Over Daniel Bryan

On last night’s episode of SmackDown Live, Rusev defeated Daniel Bryan to qualify for the Money In The Bank Ladder Match in several weeks. Cass was not used on the show last night, but did do a post-show interview for WWE’s YouTube Channel to discuss his rival Bryan’s loss.

Cass took credit for Rusev defeating Bryan because of his assault on the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion after their match at Backlash. Check out what he had to say here:

Mark Henry: Seth Rollins Can Be ‘Beyond Elite’

mark henry

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry was asked what he thought about the current WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins when he appeared on Busted Open recently. He was also asked if Rollins can become a top star for the company, to which Henry replied that not only can Rollins become the face of the company, he might be the one best wrestlers in the business right now.

“Seth Rollins. Right now, to me, is one of the most exciting guys in wrestling,” Henry said. “He’s getting to that ‘great’ stratosphere, you know, beyond ‘elite.’ He’s becoming – dare I say – Hall of Fame caliber-like. He’s going to be one of the best before it’s all said and done with.”

Seth Rollins The Grand Slam Champion

Mark Henry might not be too far off. Rollins has already become a Grand Slam Champion – by capturing the Tag Team, Intercontinental, United States and the World Heavyweight Championships. He is also the winner of the 2014 Money In The Bank Ladder Match, and one of the few who held two championships simultaneously, and he is constantly improving. It is quite possible that he could go on to become one of the industry’s legends in the future.

WWE Hall Of Famer Praises Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe No Longer Advertised For WWE MSG Show

– WWE is scheduled to hold a live event at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 7th. The promotion recently updated the advertisement for the show.

Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe in a singles match is being promoted as the main event. Keep in mind that this is a match that is also being advertised for several other events this summer.

It should be noted that although the arena is advertising this match, WWE.com is no longer advertising Joe for the upcoming show. This may have been done due to Joe being moved from RAW to SmackDown Live as part of the Superstar Shake-Up. It’s possible that MSG updates the lineup in the coming days.

Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks, Elias, Matt Hardy, and Bray Wyatt are also being advertised for this live event.

– WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry discussed WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins’ latest work in WWE on the latest episode of Busted Open Radio. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion gave high praise to Rollins and said he’s becoming an all-time great.

“Seth Rollins is, right now, for your money, he’s one of the most exciting guys wrestling,” Henry said. “He’s getting into that ‘great’ stratusphere, like beyond elite. He’s becoming—dare I say—Hall Of Fame caliber. He’s going to be one of the best before it’s all said and done with.”

Seth Rollins Talks Using Curb Stomp Again, Recent Shield Reunion, Potential Feud With Roman Reigns

The Shield, which featured Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns, was a different kind of stable that was created with NXT Superstars.

The group teamed together for a few years until WWE decided to split them up June 2014, after which Reigns entered singles competition. Ever since the group split up, fans have turned on Reigns despite him being portrayed as a babyface.

The WWE Intercontinental Champion recently spoke with Newsweek to talk about various topics.

During the interview, he was asked about a potential feud with Reigns and if he thinks Reigns can beat Brock Lesnar for the Universal Title at the upcoming Greatest Royal Rumble event.

“I would love to see Roman take down Brock Lesnar and bring the Universal Championship to RAW. It would be a huge coup for our television show, the live events, for everything. I’m team Roman 100 percent. I’m not worried about my position or the Intercontinental championship. I know what I bring to the table and what the Intercontinental title brings to the table. I think having Roman with the Universal title on RAW every week will only add to the show and the prestige we do every week.”

“I’d absolutely love to get into the ring again with Roman. Without a doubt, he’s one of the top competitors in the entire world and being in the ring with him, whenever any of the SHIELD guys are in the ring at the same time, there’s a special feeling involved. We’ve had some very classic matchups in the past and we’ve gone back and forth before. I think it would be a great time and I’m certainly up for the challenge and I’m certain he would be too.”

When The Shield first made their way onto WWE television, they were an instant hit with the fans. From the way that they looked at how they worked in the ring to their promos.

Just late last year, Reigns, Ambrose, and Rollins had a short-lived Shield reunion on WWE television.

“Getting back with Dean and Roman was incredible in itself. We had the band back together and we were ready for a few months run, and then things happen. That’s just the nature of the business and life, really. You can’t plan for those things. We had that six-man tag match against The New Day at Survivor Series, which was a lot of fun. I think all three of us would like to have another opportunity to have that classic six-man, but at the end of the day it afforded us some crazy opportunities. We teamed with Kurt Angle in that wild TLC match, and then teaming with Triple H on the European tour. Who would have thought you’d see those guys in SHIELD gear? It’s a super interesting situation that didn’t start the way we wanted, but it ended up pretty cool and had some cool moments.”

When asked about his finisher, The Curbstomp, being banned after using it for the majority of his career in WWE up until a few years ago, Rollins expressed his happiness with the move being back.

“You know, I can’t divulge the entire story. Maybe some other time. It’ll be good for a DVD or a Network special or something like that. I will say that I was very happy to see it come back. It wasn’t a long-term plan, I knew way in advance, but I was happy to get it back. That is another thing this year that really put me on a very good trajectory. It felt good, man. The surprise in the audience and the reaction I got online was really cool, too. I’m glad to take it around the world now, it’s been a good experience.”

Seth Rollins’ Special Connection To Hooters Restaurant

WWE posted a video in which Seth Rollins re-visits a Hooters restaurant in Davenport, Iowa where he once used to watch WWE pay-per-view (PPV) events. Rollins noted his heroes such as WWE Hall Of Famer Shawn Michaels and how he’d watch them on TV each month.

As the years continued, Rollins considered this more of a film study. Check it out here:

Video: Uber Driver Goes Crazy When WWE Stars Get Into His Car

The WWE is currently touring in South Africa at the moment, and it looks like they’re making fans happy even outside the ring.

Despite being in Africa; Seth Rollins, Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Titus O’Neil are still using Uber as a means for transportation. Their driver just so happened to be a WWE fan and absolutely freaked out when he realized who he’d be driving for.

The driver admitted that he watched them on TV every weekend, and also revealed a funny little tidbit about himself. It turns out that he shares the same name as former NXT Champion Sami Zayn.

Titus O’Neil caught most of their interaction with the fan on video and uploaded it to his Twitter. It’s a truly amazing and hilarious thing to watch. Check it out here below:

Seth Rollins Gives An Update On When Dean Ambrose Will Return

Dean Ambrose has been out of action since undergoing surgery to repair a torn triceps tendon back on December 19th. Dr. Jeffrey Dugas performed the procedure in Birmingham, Alabama and gave the following update to WWE.com on 12/20:

“[Dean Ambrose] tore some of the distal triceps tendon where it attaches to the forearm bone, called the olecranon. He basically tore about 50 percent of the triceps tendon away from the bone. So yesterday we repaired that back down to the bone where it tore off of. The surgery was very straightforward; we removed all of the extra bursal tissue — all of that extra swollen stuff around his elbow.”

The recovery period for this type of procedure is approximately 4-6 months, although Michael Cole mentioned on WWE television that Ambrose could be out for up to 9 months.

During a media appearance to promote this week’s WWE live events in South Africa, Seth Rollins provided an update on his former tag team partner and Shield brother. During an appearance on the KFM 94.5 radio station out of Cape Town, South Africa, Rollins sad:

“He had some pretty extensive triceps surgery earlier this year so he’s definitely still on the mend and rehabbing. But he’ll be back and better than ever, you wait. Summertime, maybe late Spring. Somewhere in there, I think, whenever that wily guy gets back to normal”

Rollins was also asked if we’d see The Shield back together when Ambrose returns. He said all 3 members of the Shield remain on good terms, but they will probably do their own thing. Rollins, Ambrose and Roman Reigns remain on the RAW brand following the Superstar Shake-Up, so the stage is set for them to appear together again by this summer.
