Seth Rollins Has A New Tag Team Partner, More Information On This Year’s Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

– After having both Dean Ambrose and Jason Jordan go down with injuries, Seth Rollins has received a new Tag Team partner for upcoming WWE live events. Finn Balor will tag with “The Architect” at upcoming live events against The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro), however, it’s only the events Roman Reigns is unable to tag with his former Shield stablemate. Rollins will tag with Reigns at Friday and Saturday’s live events.

When John Cena joins the RAW live tour on Sunday he will participate in a Triple Threat match against Reigns and The Miz for the Intercontinental Title. On that night Rollins will team with “The Demon King” against The Bar.

– With the hype around HBO Sports’ documentary on Andre The Giant, WWE really wants to push this year’s Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania even harder. The documentary is set to premiere the Tuesday after WrestleMania 34, which will feature the fifth annual Andre Battle Royal.

The first-ever Battle Royal took place at WrestleMania 30 back in 2014 with Cesaro winning. Past winners since then include The Big Show, Baron Corbin, and Mojo Rawley. PWInsider reports that WWE officials understand if the HBO documentary draws good numbers then it could lead to more projects with the network.

Seth Rollins Reportedly Working Hurt, Injury Update On Alicia Fox

– It seems that Seth Rollins has been dealing with a back injury for some time now. Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that it’s currently unknown if “The Architect” will miss any ring time but it seems like for now he’s working through it. Rollins’ partner, Jason Jordan, is also dealing with an injury of his own. Jordan’s injury, however, is a neck injury and he has reportedly been having trouble with his grip.

– Alicia Fox suffered a broken tailbone prior to the Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV) and missed out on the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match. PWInsider reports Fox is expected to miss several months from in-ring competition, and she’s very upset about missing the Women’s Rumble.

What Happened After RAW 25 With The Miz, Ric Flair & Others (Photos)

There was no dark main event after the WWE RAW 25th Anniversary show went off the air at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn but there was a special dark segment for fans at the Manhattan Center Grand Ballroom.

That dark segment, which took place after Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson defeated The Revival with DX, Sean Waltman, WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall and Finn Balor at ringside, saw new WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz cut a promo on DX and The Balor Club. Miz has traveled from the Barclays Center to the Manhattan Center following his big title win over Roman Reigns. Miz ran down DX and The Balor Club, promising not to invite them to the RAW 30th Anniversary special. RAW Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins then came out, which caused the fans to chant ROH. Rollins cut a promo on The Miz and acknowledged winning the ROH Title in this same building, saying he was proud of it. Miz then cut such a good promo that the fans turned and started cheering him on. The segment ended with Rollins hitting his Blackout curb stomp on Miz as a big “suck it!” chant rang out from the crowd.

Triple H then cut a promo to thank fans and the DX theme song played to send everyone home happy.

There was another dark segment that took place following the DX segment at the Manhattan Center with WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair. Flair commented on making the mistake of returning to WCW after being at the Manhattan Center for three RAW shows, and talked about how he was lucky to be back with his friends for RAW 25. He put over the members of DX, Waltman and Scott Hall, noting how Shawn gave him the best send-off in the history of sports for his retirement.

Below are a few photos from both segments:

Sting & Hulk Hogan Reunite (Photos), Rollins Comments On The Return Of His Stomp

– WWE Hall of Famers and former rivals Sting and Hulk Hogan reunited on Monday at the Ace Comic Con event in Glendale, Arizona. Both Sting and Hogan tweeted photos of them together.

– Also last night saw the return of Seth Rollins’ old friend, the Curb Stomp, on Monday Night RAW. Rollins used the move to defeat Finn Balor in the night’s main event and took to Twitter to react to bringing back the maneuver:

Seth Rollins Reveals Which Match Put Him On The Map In WWE

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins recently did an interview with the Amarillo Globe-News to discuss his rise in the professional wrestling industry. With WrestleMania 34 right around the corner “The Architect” was asked who he’d like to face off against at “The Show Of Shows.” Rollins noted he wants to be in the main event of the show, making himself the reason people are buying tickets, and would love to work with names such as Brock Lesnar or SmackDown Live’s WWE Champion AJ Styles:

“There are a ton of guys I’d love to work with at a WrestleMania. For me, I want to be in the main event of WrestleMania selling the tickets to that show. Whether it’s Brock Lesnar or AJ Styles. Either one of those guys I’d love to look toward being in the ring with when the time comes.”

Late last year WWE fans went nuts when the company decided to reunited The Shield. That reunion was short-lived, however, as Reigns contracted the mumps in a viral outbreak backstage; and soon after he was healthy again Dean Ambrose suffered an injury that sidelined him for several months. Rollins commented on how fans reacted to the initial reunion of The Shield:

“To see the scale in which people were excited about it was pretty cool. I wasn’t really anticipating how incredible it was. It was a nice experience and kind of surreal. It was just awesome to be out there with those guys again and get that reaction.”

Rollins is currently one-half of the RAW Tag Team Champions alongside Jason Jordan, and is one of WWE’s biggest stars. As for what match he thinks put him on the map in the company, Rollins points to his Triple Threat match against Brock Lesnar and John Cena at the Royal Rumble back in 2015:

“Yeah, I’d say so. It was my first opportunity to hang with the guys in the upper echelon. When you see what Brock has accomplished inside and outside of the ring. Then you look at John and everything he’s done. I was kind of the oddball in that pairing. The third wheel so to speak. I wanted to prove I could hold my own and I could be the guy to make that match what it was. I wanted to prove I could compete on that level with those guys. It was cool for me to have that moment. I felt I belonged.”

Seth Rollins Comments On His “CrossFit Jesus” Moniker

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins recently spoke to ESPN about CrossFit and how much its benefited him as a training regiment. Here are the highlights:

Looking for a training regiment that fit his body type:

“I’m 6-foot-1, 205 pounds. I have to move around in the ring a lot. I can’t be like a Braun Strowman or an Andre the Giant. They kind of get to just stand there and throw bodies around. I’m the body that gets thrown around. I figured it would behoove me to maybe put some of this into my training. And the more and more I got into it, the more and more I started to fall in love with the training paradigm.”

The “CrossFit Jesus” nickname he has received:

“I think I bear a striking resemblance to the western version of Jesus Christ of Nazareth facially with my own beard and long hair and stuff like that. And I’m always talking about CrossFit, so somewhere along the line, somebody put that together and came up with the CrossFit Jesus moniker, which is fantastic. I think it’s wonderful. It’s funny, and it’s correct, and my wrestling school made a T-shirt out of it.”

Using CrossFit to train his students at his Black and Brave Wrestling Academy:

“I’m trying to basically start a new wave in functional training with wrestling, with professional wrestling. I just think it’s the best foot to start off on. At least after three months, they’re going to have some idea of the fundamental of how to move their bodies through space with strength and speed and accuracy. So I’m just trying to pass the information and the things that I’ve learned and accomplished on to the next generation.”

Top RAW Star Was Considered To Tag Team With Seth Rollins Instead Of Jason Jordan, Sheamus Celebrates Cesaro’s Birthday (Photos)

– As seen on this past Monday’s special Christmas Day episode of Monday Night RAW, Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins defeated The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) to win the RAW Tag Team Championships. Jordan stepped in as a partner for “The Architect” after Dean Ambrose was forced to be sidelined for several months due to a bicep injury.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that aside from Jordan, former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor was also considered to step in for Ambrose as well. In the end WWE creative decided to continue their push of Jordan and gave him the top babyface role instead.

– Cesaro celebrated his 37th birthday yesterday and Sheamus took to Twitter to post a few pictures of their celebration. It looks like a cake fight took place between the now-former RAW Tag Team Champions:

New RAW Tag Team Champions Crowned Tonight (PHOTOS & VIDEOS)

Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan defeated The Bar in the main event of tonight’s Christmas edition of WWE RAW from Chicago to become the new RAW Tag Team Champions.

This is the first reign for Rollins and Jordan together as Jordan was replacing the injured Dean Ambrose tonight. This is Rollins’ third reign as tag team champion but his second with the RAW Tag Team Titles. Jordan previously held the SmackDown Tag Team Titles but this is his first run with the red brand belts. Cesaro and Sheamus won the titles back on the November 6th RAW from England.

Seth Rollins Reacts To His Old Indie Botch (Video), Nia Jax & Asuka Tease Match

Kurt Angle Explains Why He Fanboyed Out About Tagging With The Shield

As we’ve noted before, WWE Hall Of Famer and Monday Night RAW General Manager Kurt Angle recently did a Q&A for iPlay America in Freehold, New Jersey. During the event Angle was asked about teaming up with The Shield (Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose) at Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) earlier this year. Initially the PPV’s main event was slated to feature the reuniting of The Shield, but unfortunately a viral outbreak of the mumps in the WWE locker room affected “The Big Dog” and he was pulled from the card.

After a quick physical was concluded, Angle was cleared to return to the WWE ring for the first time in 11 years and was subbed in for Reigns. The trio downed the team of The Miz, The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro), Kane, and Braun Strowman. Here’s what Angle had to say about teaming with Rollins and Ambrose:

“I didn’t expect that to be my first wrestling match, and with a faction that popular. They’re one of the most popular factions of all time, they’ve done an incredible job. Ever since they came up from NXT they’ve been legendary so it was an honor for me.

“Obviously Roman Reigns was out and they needed somebody to fill in the spot, and Mr. McMahon thought Kurt Angle would fill that spot. It was awesome, I had a lot of fun that night. I didn’t have to do much in my first match, but it was really cool. When you saw me walk out, you kind of saw the ‘fanboy’ look on my face. Seth [Rollins] and Dean [Ambrose] were serious, and here I am, going [*imitates a goofy grin*]

“It was a lot of fun, and it was a complete honor.”

Title Match On Next Week’s RAW In LA, Why Three Stars Missed Tonight’s RAW

Seth Rollins announced on tonight’s WWE RAW that he and Dean Ambrose are invoking their rematch clause for a title shot from RAW Tag Team Champions The Bar. Rollins & Ambrose vs. Cesaro & Sheamus will take place on next week’s RAW from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Tonight’s RAW saw Rollins defeat Cesaro in singles action. Ambrose was absent as he’s on his honeymoon in Hawaii with Renee Young, who will likely be missing this week’s SmackDown as well. Sheamus was also absent tonight as he’s on his “annual sabbatical” back in Ireland. Both will be back next week.

Seth Rollins & Jason Jordan Feature In Nail Biting UpUpDownDown Match-Up (Video)

The final round of the Madden 18 Tournament on UpUpDownDown saw 3 time champion Seth Rollins (The Champ) take on Jason Jordan (Dick Wellington).

The video starts with a confident Seth Rollins reliving his victories against AJ Styles and discussing how annoyed and upset The Phenomenal One was with the defeats.  Jason Jordan reminisced about Styles playing Madden backstage at shows, and how dedicated he was with the tournament.

By half time of Rollins vs Jordan, the two superstars are caught at a 7-7 draw, with Jordan scoring an interception in the last 20 seconds of the half.  And so began a second half of intense football that will never be forgotten.

Early in the second half Seth Rollins asked the question: “What happens if we go into overtime”.  Jason Jordan replied to the question by adding 6 points to the board and denying Rollins the chance to score any.  The Champ is no more.

Rollins has openly shown how nervous he can become while playing Madden, and this is no exception.  He was caught rocking back and forth as he tries to work out why and how he is losing; Jordan meanwhile remains cool, calm and collected.

Early in the game, the two discuss how greed caused the interception that led to Dick Wellington‘s first half score.  Later they continued by turning the events into wise lessons for all on the pitfalls of greed, adding a moral tone to the video.  Unfortunately Seth wasn’t able to hide his frustration and anger in the closing moments as he walked up with a few seconds still left on the clock.

This is the first time in Madden Tournament history that Seth Rollins has lost.  He is no longer invincible and there is now a guaranteed new Champion in this year’s tournament.  Safe options for this year’s Champion would be AJ Styles, Luke Harper or Kofi Kingston.

Highlights of the video:

  1. Just how close Seth Rollins gets to the screen in the final plays of the game.
  2. Seth Rollins’ monologue as he leaves the game, resulting in some well timed dolphin sounds to censor his emotions.
  3. This quote from The Champ: “Fudge me.  Fudge me right in the fudging fudge”.
  4. Jordan’s sheer delight at the end of the video, he can’t contain his happiness as Rollins rants down the corridor.
  5. The fact that Jordan never practiced, or played the latest Madden game.

Dick Wellington joins the winner of the SmackDown Live showdown that was released yesterday, Luke Harper who shocked Jimmy Uso with a solid performance.

Bonus Question:

Does this mean that Seth Rollins will have to change his GamerTag on UpUpDownDown as he is no longer The Champ?

The Shield Reveal The “Fourth Member” Of Their Faction

In the latest edition of the WWE Network’s Table For 3 special, former WWE World Champions The Shield reunited at the dinner table to share some memories about their run as a trio.

Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose discussed several topics, including how Joey Mercury is the “fourth member” of the group due to all the great advice he provided them backstage.

Mercury was released by WWE back in January and returned wrestling on the independent scene shortly thereafter. He is the reigning MCW Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion.

https://twitter.com/WWEMercury/status/922826883062009857

Here are some highlights from The Shield’s Table For 3 appearance:

Rollins on Joey Mercury being the fourth member of The Shield for all his good advice:

“I was talking to an old mentor of ours, Joey Mercury, the other day,” Rollins said. “I miss Joey a lot too. I love him so much. Very, actually, integral part of The Shield. He should maybe be the fourth seat [at the Table For 3 dining table] because he was the behind-the-scenes Shield brother.”

Reigns on Mercury advising them to all stick together:

“A lot of it came from Joey. Remember, he told us… I know y’all remember he told us,” Reigns continued, “he told us, do you know what I mean, ‘you guys are going up together. I know [Ambrose] and [Rollins] worked together a lot. [Reigns] hasn’t really been around those two a whole lot, but y’all have to stick together. Y’all have to let the whole locker room, everybody needs to know that The Shield are like a legit unit, always together, walking the hallways, sit in catering together.’

“And we did that. We rode together. [Ambrose] slept on the floor the majority of the time and I owe [him] one for that one. Do you know what I mean? We trained together. We did everything together. I think that until we were able to break the tripod and get our own two feet for each man down, we leaned on each other until now and everybody leans on us, so that’s what Vince [McMahon] and Hunter [Hearst Helmsley] are looking for. [Rollins] remembers that talk. They want leaders.”

Seth Rollins: There Is No King Of RAW At The Moment

Seth Rollins has appeared on multiple videos recently for Austin Creed’s YouTube channel: UpUpDownDown.  The Champ, as he is known as on UpUpDownDown, is most notable for becoming the three time, undefeated Madden Champion.  However his latest adventure saw him take on WWE 2K18 with Austin Creed.

Check out their first tag-match, joined by Corey Graves!

The main event of this feature was the Royal Rumble that they entered as their own characters in the game.  While they watched the entrance of Seth Rollins, who entered at the number 1 position, Creed began an extremely interesting insight into the current state of RAW.

The host of UpUpDownDown asked whether Rollins still considered himself to be The King Slayer or whether he had moved up to the mantle of ‘The King’.  Rollins replied that he slayed The King, referring to his match with Triple H at WrestleMania, but that The King Slayer doesn’t automatically become The King afterwards.

The exchange continued with Austin Creed asking if anyone had taken the throne after Triple H, with Rollins replying:

“I don’t know, no one’s really taken the throne I suppose […] RAW, there’s a lot of claims to the throne, no one has actually taken it.”

Seth went on to explain that he would take up the role of The King Slayer again, when a King returns to RAW, acting as a superhero.  This suggests that Seth Rollins will remain as a face within the company after The Shield, and that he expects to challenge the main role on RAW when the time comes.

While this was a brief side thought in a video that focuses on promoting the WWE video game, it reflects the absence of Brock Lesnar and RAW’s lack of a week in week out leading star.  As Rollins said, there are a lot of contenders, but no one has claimed the throne.  Some would argue that The Miz fits the job description as he is RAW’s biggest heel.  However The King needs to dominate and rule as the most powerful superstar on the brand, holding the leading championship or corporate power.

Rusev Trolls AJ Styles On UpUpDownDown

The Bulgarian Brute showed his lighter side as he laughed, mimicked and joked around with a quieter AJ Styles on the UpUpDownDown Madden Tournament.  The two superstars played out a rematch of the 2017 Super Bowl between AJ’s home town team: the Atlanta Falcons; and Rusev’s choice: the New England Patriots.

Before watching the amusing match up, it is worth checking out the final from the previous tournament that featured AJ Styles and Seth Rollins which became heated in the final moments of the game.

AJ walked out before the game had finished, exclaiming that his loss came from the match being played on PS4 rather than Xbox.  Style’s then threw his runner-up trophy on the floor, breaking it and causing a piece to fly off and injure a WWE official!

A rematch was declared using an Xbox instead:

Sadly this did not favour the Prince Of Phenomenal as The Champ (Seth Rollins) picked up the big W again.

In contrast, safe in the knowledge that Rusev has little NFL knowledge, AJ appeared much more relaxed and tolerant of the Bulgarian’s comedic value.

Throughout the encounter Rusev provided an unorthodox style that contrasted AJ’s methodical dominance, resulting in a secure win for the Prince Of Phenomenal.  However, from the moment the camera’s started rolling, AJ couldn’t keep a straight face.  Rusev even broke into song, serenading AJ with his own version of “I Believe I Can Fly”.

The beauty of UpUpDownDown’s Madden Tournament is seeing superstars in their natural environment backstage.  Sometimes it’s possible to tell when an act is being put on, but it’s great to see Seth Rollins nervous, or Rusev laughing and joking as he clumsily tries to play a game that he’s learning properly for the first time.

If you watch all of the rounds, it’s easy to catch guest appearances from other superstars who just walk into the room by accident.  Titus O’Neil, Jimmy & Jey Uso, and the rest of The New Day all make regular appearances as they take sides and cause chaos, while also giving us a unique insight behind the scenes of WWE superstars.

Here is a bonus video that hi-lights the beautiful hilarity which UpUpDownDown captures:

A Member Of The Shield Rumored To Turn Heel For WrestleMania Feud

The WWE Universe is elated to finally see Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose reunited on WWE TV to reform The Shield – but that happiness could once again be crushed by WWE as we approach WrestleMania 34.

As we all know, Seth Rollins betrayed his Shield brethren to initially break up the faction when he stuck a steel chair into the backs of Reigns and Ambrose on the Monday Night RAW after their Payback win over Evolution. It seems that Reigns and Ambrose have since settled their differences with Rollins since the betrayal and now unite to take on Braun Strowman, Kane, The Miz, Sheamus, and Cesaro at Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) this weekend.

Following TLC, however, how long are The Shield expected to stay united? Per a report from PWMania (via Sportskeeda) the WWE is actually planning on turning Dean Ambrose heel to set up a feud between he and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. It’s still early in the WrestleMania planning faze, and ideas change on the drop of a dime, however, it’s worth noting WWE is considering a Rollins-Ambrose match-up.

Discussion: Is the WWE making a mistake by turning Ambrose heel and breaking up The Shield again? Who would you like to see each of “The Hounds Of Justice” take on at “The Show Of Shows?”

Jinder Mahal Denies Injury Rumor, Seth Rollins Talks First Acting Role

– It was reported in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE Champion Jinder Mahal is dealing with a shoulder injury. During an interview published this morning on ESPN.com (click here for highlights), Mahal denied rumors of the injury.

“I don’t have an injury. Those are just rumors,” Mahal said. “I have large traps and that causes my shoulders to roll forward so when I tape them up, it just pulls my shoulders back and I start to develop my rear shoulders more. My traps are a bit too strong so it puts me out of balance. So it is just to prevent future injuries.”

As of late, Mahal has been wearing Kinesio Tape at WWE live events. However, he does not wear it at televised events.

WWE TLC Poster Reveals Major Storyline Development

For the past several weeks WWE has been teasing the reunion of The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose). While the group has yet to reunite officially, a promotional poster for the Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view (PPV) gives away the reunion.

It seems as though The Shield will be taking on The Miz, Sheamus, and Cesaro; while the only other match announced for the event is a RAW Women’s Championship match between Alexa Bliss and Mickie James.

TLC will go down live on the WWE Network from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Sunday, October 22nd.

You can check out the poster of The Shield here:

Seth Rollins’ New Finisher May Have A Game Of Thrones Inspired Name

Seth Rollins’ former finisher, the Curbstomp, has since been banned from WWE by Vince McMahon for a few years now, which forced “The Architect” to briefly adopt Triple H’s Pedigree while he was a member of The Authority. After his feud with “The Game” concluded, however, Rollins has been in search of a new finishing maneuver, and has seemed to find it with the Ripcord Knee he has been using for the past few months. While he’s been using the move, however, it hasn’t had an official name on WWE TV.

That all changed last night (Sun. September 24, 2017) at the WWE’s No Mercy pay-per-view (PPV) in Rollins and Dean Ambrose’s RAW Tag Team Title defense over Sheamus and Cesaro. RAW commentator Corey Graves referred to Rollins’ finisher as Kings Landing, which some fans of HBO’s Game Of Thrones series may have caught since it’s the name of one of the show’s major cities. Rollins’ nickname, the King Slayer, is also a play off of Game Of Thrones. WWE fans took to Twitter to react to the new finishing maneuver’s name:

WWE Reportedly Planning A Shield Reunion

With his victory over John Cena at Sunday’s No Mercy pay-per-view, Roman Reigns proved that WWE is his yard and he’s able to hang with the best talent WWE has to offer.

From what we’ve been hearing, Roman Reigns has another big match scheduled for next month’s Tables, Ladders & Chairs event – and he won’t be fighting alone.

Many fans have been rooting for a Shield reunion since the faction disbanded three years ago. They will reportedly get their wish very soon, as a Shield reunion is finally in the works.

James McKenna of Pro Wrestling Sheet noted on Twitter that WWE is planning to reunite Reigns with RAW tag team champions Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in an effort to boost ticket sales for TLC and continue the RAW brand’s streak of stacked PPV cards.

It’s interesting to note that Roman Reigns will be a guest on Miz TV in the opening segment of tonight’s RAW. With the planned Shield reunion and The Miz and his Miztourage always looking for high-profile competition, The Shield vs. The Miztourage is rumored as one of the top matches for TLC.

There’s no word yet as to how long this Shield reunion will last, but aligning Reigns with Rollins and Ambrose once again would go a long way in WWE’s effort to get Reigns over with the large portion of the WWE Universe that has not yet embraced the Big Dog as RAW’s top babyface.

The longterm plan for Reigns is still a WrestleMania 34 showdown with Brock Lesnar, so we’ll see if Reigns still has the Shield backup by the time these two collide.

(Photo) Poor RAW Attendance In California Last Night, Cesaro Comments On No Mercy

– It was reported earlier last week by Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer that the advance tickets for last night’s (Mon. September 18, 2017) Monday Night RAW from the SAP Center in San Jose, California were not doing well. The show did not sell out and photos taken by fans during the pre-RAW WWE Main Event tapings showed a ton of empty seats:

– During last night’s Monday Night RAW, the team of Sheamus and Cesaro defeated WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match. Sheamus and Cesaro will challenge Ambrose and Rollins for the RAW Tag Team Titles at No Mercy, and Cesaro took to Twitter to comment on the upcoming match-up:

AJ Styles & Seth Rollins Hype Their Madden Rematch, Chris Jericho Is Excited For ‘It’

– If you’re a big fan of The New Day member Xavier Wood’s YouTube Channel, Up Up Down Down, you may have seen Seth Rollins obliterate AJ Styles in the finals of their Madden Playstation 4 Tournament. After the match, Styles called for a rematch on Xbox which Rollins said he would happily oblige. Below are videos of Styles and Rollins each hyping up the rematch:

– WWE Superstar Chris Jericho took to Instagram to use his old “It” catchphrase to play into the equally-named film which hits theaters today (Fri. September 8, 2017). “Y2J” said he has heard the film is terrifying and he can’t wait to check it out:

Seth Rollins Explains Why His Curb Stomp Was Banned By Vince McMahon

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins recently made an appearance on the Sam Roberts’ Wrestling Podcast and discussed his journey through WWE. “The Architect” was asked about his old finishing maneuver, The Curbstomp, which has since been banned by Vince McMahon. Rollins explained why the move was banned by “The Chairman Of The Board,” and claimed that he hated the decision and believed it was silly:

“No more blonde and The Curbstomp is gone, guys. It’s not my fault. Trust me. It’s not like I was [saying], ‘oh yes, I want a new finisher.’ No, they snatched it from me. They took it from me. No, so this is what happened, okay? After WrestleMania, I had won the [WWE] title, and I flew across the country to do the Today Show. For the Today Show, they put together a package of all of Seth Rollins’ awesome maneuvers. At the time, my finish was The Curbstomp”

“So Vince McMahon is sitting wherever Vince McMahon sits on a Monday morning and he’s seeing me on the Today Show and I look good in a suit. I’m representing the company. I look good in a suit. And I’m wearing the title and then he sees this package of me stomping another man’s head into the ground and it being called The Curbstomp on national television. And he thought to himself, ‘well, that’s not a good representation of what I want my top guy to do,’ so he just had a meeting with some of his people, and they decided, ‘well, we don’t need it – we can figure out another finish for you’ and the rest is history. I get it. I hate it. I think it’s silly, but it is what it is and it’s not my company. I’m doing the best I can with it.”
