Roman Reigns Comments On Possibly Joining The Ongoing Shield Reunion

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns recently spoke with ESPN to talk about a possible reunion with the Shield. Currently Reigns’ former Shield members, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, rule as the RAW Tag Team Champions after dethroning the team of Sheamus and Cesaro at SummerSlam.

Many have been wondering if Reigns would join them soon to fully reunite the beloved stable, but “The Big Dog” says he has unfinished business as a singles competitor first before he can entertain that idea:

“Over the next few weeks, we’ll be able to see it play out,” he said. “But the main thing right now is I’ve been in the title picture for the Raw brand, so I can firmly say neither of those guys would leave [that opportunity] to rejoin The Shield [and] rekindle that flame.”

“Maybe I’m a third wheel at this point,” he said. “It just really depends. I feel like the next few weeks are really going to play out some important things for me. Obviously, I need to transition coming out of this big feud between the four monsters.”

Seth Rollins Talks Shield Reunion, Scrapped Feud Before Reuniting With Ambrose

RAW tag team champion Seth Rollins appeared on this week’s Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast for an in-depth discussion about reuniting with Dean Ambrose, being out of the Universal title picture, Roman Reigns and more. Here are some highlights of what Rollins said about:

Teaming with Dean Ambrose and being out of the Universal Championship picture:

“The last couple of weeks and really this whole thing with Ambrose has gone extremely well and I think that’s just a testament to he and I, and The Shield, and the bond we sort of created with the audience over the past five or six years, stuff like that and we’ve been doing it, so it’s cool to see that everyone’s still emotionally invested in us as characters. And the fact that we are now on the same side, people are excited to see where we go moving forward. Keep me away from that world title picture right now! I’m having fun doing what I’m doing here. I think the fact that people are so emotionally invested in myself and Ambrose is really cool.”

Being open to reforming The Shield, as long as it happens organically:

“[Reigns] is obviously doing just fine for himself. Yeah, he’s doing alright. Whether you love him or hate him, he’s doing alright. He’s been in three WrestleManias in the main event now, which is… hey, say what you will about it, but it’s an impressive feat. There are not many men in the history of our industry who’ve been able to do that. So who knows? I mean, right now we’re happy with where we’re at and we’re in a good spot with me and Dean. If we do tell that story, we’ve got a long way to get there and if it happens, I’d welcome it. I’d welcome the possibility, but I’m really happy with the Ambrose situation right now and I don’t want to force anything.”

The original plan for him before teaming with Dean Ambrose:

“I believe what the plan was for me and Bray Wyatt to go a few pay-per-views. And them, whatever happened, happened. Something changed and they shuffled the deck and they ended up having to reposition, which, actually, worked out much better for me, in my personal opinion. But yeah, it [has] been almost a month or so that I’ve kind of known that we were heading in this direction.”

The Usos And Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose Trade Shots (Videos), Dean Ambrose Makes History

The Usos call out Rollins & Ambrose, Rollins responds

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos and RAW Tag Champs Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose have been trading shots at WWE Live Events over the past couple of days. The banter started a few days ago when The Usos responded to the following tweet from WWE:

The Usos then talked some more trash at last night’s SmackDown Live Event in Baton Rouge. The Usos said that Rollins and Ambrose may be the best team on RAW, but The Usos are the best tag team period. The Usos then challenged Ambrose and Rollins to show up to SmackDown as you can see in the following video:

One half of the RAW Tag Team Champions responded to The Usos during last night’s RAW Live Event in Jonesboro. Rollins stated that the real champs are on RAW.

Dean Ambrose makes history

After winning the RAW Tag Team Championship at WWE SummerSlam, Dean Ambrose has made history. Ambrose has now held each of the four major titles in WWE and has become a Grand Slam Champion. The criteria for being a Grand Slam Champion, is to have held the Intercontinental Championship, the United States Championship, either RAW or SmackDown Tag Team Championship and either the WWE or Universal Championship.

Ambrose has been IC Champion, US Champion, RAW Tag Team Champion and WWE Champion. Ambrose joins Edge, Big Show, The Miz, Eddie Guerrero, Daniel Bryan, Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho as the only Superstars who have reached that achievement with WWE’s current active titles.

Lana Defends Her New Role, Rollins-Power Rangers, Bruno Meets Bruno

– Lana revealed on last night’s SmackDown that her plans for Tamina Snuka’s “ravishing journey” to the SmackDown Women’s Title will begin next week. A fan tweeted that all of Lana’s “genuine hard work and training is totally wasted” now. Lana responded:

– The man who portrayed the clown in the Gentleman’s Duel between Jack Gallagher and Brian Kendrick on last night’s WWE 205 Live episode was indie wrestler Rory Gulak, younger brother of WWE cruiserweight Drew Gulak. The duel ended with Kendrick putting Gallagher through a table to set up a No DQ match between the two next week.

– Pop star Bruno Mars is currently performing is 24K Magic World Tour and made a stop in Pittsburgh, PA on Tuesday night. Mars has stated in various interviews that his nickname Bruno is actually inspired by WWE Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino. Backstage in Pittsburgh, Bruno finally met Bruno.

– Finally, Seth Rollins got an endorsement from for his ‘big match’ ring gear: the Power Rangers. We hadn’t noticed the connection but the side-by-side comparisons below suggest Rollins’ outfits be influenced by the masked superheroes.

Seth Rollins Reveals If He Believes Shield Reunion Would Help Roman Reigns Get More Fan Acceptance

Prior to his SummerSlam match-up in which he and ex-Shield teammate Dean Ambrose defeated Sheamus and Cesaro to become the new RAW Tag Team Champions, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins was interviewed by RauteMusik to talk about a possible full Shield reunion between himself, Ambrose, and Roman Reigns. Since going solo, Reigns has received mixed reactions from WWE crowds, the majority of which see him get booed out of the building.

When asked if he believes a Shield reunion would help Reigns get more fan acceptance, here’s what “The Architect” had to say:

“I don’t know. Roman works hard, every single day, busting his butt, having great matches, being a very entertaining character on television, and he seems to be doing just fine for himself. I don’t think that associating me and Ambrose with him is gonna- the man has main evented three WrestleManias in a row, you know what I mean? What help does he need from us?”

Roman Reigns Explains Why He Isn’t Involved In The Current Shield Reunion Angle

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns did an interview on ESPN Sportscenter this morning (Mon. August 21, 2017) to promote tonight’s Monday Night RAW from the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York. Reigns discussed the mini-Shield reunion going on between newly-crowned RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose, why he isn’t involved, and if he’d like to be down the line. Here are the highlights:

Possible Shield reunion:

“The main thing for me right now, I’ve been in that Universal title picture,” Reigns said. “You can ask Seth or Dean, if they were able to be in that same situation, that’s what you go for. You want to have that top title, and that’s definitely it.

“I’m super proud of those guys, they exemplified what makes the Shield so special [at SummerSlam]. The teamwork and just that brotherhood of just going out there and getting it done – not for yourself, but for the man next to you. It really showed why when we came in, why we were so special.”

Reigns hoping a full reunion happens soon:

“Hopefully in the near future maybe,” Reigns said of a full Shield reunion. “Not only to prolong my career maybe, because it does take it out of you running into those meatballs [Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe] for 30 minutes at a time, but there’s just some kind of magic when the three of us get together and we’re just moving on all cylinders. It always seems to be a great time for the crowd.”

Cesaro hit the Cesaro Swing and then locked in the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. Rollins tried to get in the ring but Sheamus planted him with a rolling Senton. Ambrose tried to get out of the Sharpshooter but Cesaro transitioned into a Crossface in the middle of the ring.

Ambrose reversed it into a roll up but Cesaro kicked out at two. Sheamus was tagged in and leveled Ambrose with a Clothesline off the top rope as Cesaro held Dean up on his shoulders. Cesaro was tagged back in and Ambrose was planted with a double Razer’s Edge. Cesaro went for the pinfall but Rollins leaped into the ring at the last second and broke up the pinfall.

Rollins was once again knocked out of the ring and Sheamus was tagged in. Sheamus and Cesaro were going to team up for a move but Rollins hit a Hurricanrana and Cesaro launched into Sheamus. Rollins then hit a Superkick onto Cesaro and Sheamus and then Ambrose planted Sheamus with the Dirty Deeds for the victory.

Seth Rollins Reveals Why He Stopped Using The Pedigree

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins recently did an interview with The Mirror to promote tomorrow night’s (Sun. August 20, 2017) SummerSlam pay-per-view (PPV), where he will team up with former fellow Shield member Dean Ambrose against RAW Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Cesaro. During the interview Rollins discussed returning from injury and the reason he no longer uses The Pedigree as his finisher. Check out the highlights below:

For two years you were arguably WWE’s top villain, but when you returned from injury in May 2016, we started to see a slow change in direction for you. How have you found making that transition and has it been more difficult than you anticipated to win fans over?

“No it’s actually been very natural, it’s not like I expected to show up on Raw and within moments everyone love me. Obviously when I got hurt the first time, people were upset about it and felt for me personally. I came back and there was an instant excitement and buzz about my return, but I didn’t expect people to instantly embrace me or trust me. So for me it was just a very organic process, to go from where I was, to where I am now.

“A lot of time when you’re out injured is spent with internal reflection and kind of looking at yourself in the mirror and deciding who you want to be and where you fit in. A lot of that real life stuff kind of carried over into what we’ve been doing for the last year or so now. It’s been a wild ride but I definitely feel like we’re pointing in the right direction and things are looking up.”

Was no longer using The Pedigree and debuting a new finisher part of that process of ending that stage of your career? What made you decide to use a wrist lock transitioned into a short-arm high knee?

“The Pedigree was a part of my life when I was in the Authority and it made sense for the time being, after sealing the deal and beating Triple H with it at WrestleMania, that was a good place to retire it. At the end of the day I want to be my own person, I want to be my own performer, and I want to have a finisher that’s synonymous with me and not with my mentor. I’ve always prided on doing things a little differently and I wanted to bring something to the table that people and fans of WWE maybe hadn’t really seen.

“The Ripcord Knee as it’s been called recently is something that’s very dangerous, it can come out of nowhere and I think if you’ve seen it in other places, you know the damage it can do. Plus I thought it was nifty that my biggest weakness, my right knee which has put me out of action twice now, has now become my biggest strength and it’s what I use to put my opponents away with. There’s a nice bit of storytelling there as well.”

“I think we have maybe the most talented roster of all time, I don’t think we need anybody to help or crossover.

If they want to come over to our world and have some fun then that’s cool but we’re happy doing our thing on our own.”

Would you like to see UFC/Mixed Martial Arts stars transition over into the wrestling world? Aside from the names previously mentioned who could you see making the career change? Jon Jones maybe? Let us know in the comments.

During the interview, Rollins revealed that he had reached out to his fellow Shield member, Dean Ambrose, for advice on the moving making process as “The Lunatic Fringe” starred in 12 Rounds 3: Lockdown back in 2015:

“Neither of us had ever had any aspirations of being in movies or movie stars or anything like that, but he had just gotten off doing his new movie that had come out a year prior,” Rollins said.

“I was just curious to see what the process was like for him, so I could get an idea of anything I needed to do or etiquette-wise how to act or anything that was different from what I normally am used to.”

Seth Rollins On If He Got Any Backlash For WWE 2K18 Trailer, His New Film ‘Armed Response’

Seth Rollins was recently interviewed by IGN to promote his new WWE Studios film ‘Armed Response’. The film is out in theaters and available On Demand today. Below are some highlights from the interview:

How does it work with the WWE Studios films? Were they like “You’re up. Time to be in a movie?”

It’s definitely an option. They called me and said that they had this script and this movie and obviously I had this time off due to injury so it made things easier to schedule, but yeah they said they had this role they thought I’d be perfect for and asked if I wanted to read the script. It was an open invitation and I’d never done anything like this before so it was very intriguing. I wanted to check it out. The script was cool and the cast was awesome so I figured “Why not?”

Obviously, you’re able to perform in thousands of people, but how nervous were you headed into this?

It was a little nerve-racking, sure, since it was my first time. And I was dealing with some pretty great and seasoned actors — like Wesley Snipes, Anne Heche, and Dave Annable who were the other players in the movie — and they all had a ton of experience. Working scenes with Anne, who’s amazing and has a great emotional range, I’d have to try and match her level of talent. Or to work with Wesley who’s just always calm and cool and always very subtle in his scenes, I’d try to pick up on what he’s doing in specific moments so that I could play off them and how he delivers his lines. So I was always focused, just so they could see me as a peer and maybe not some idiot who’s coming in from the pro-wrestling world. I’m sure they had their preconceived notions about me so I just hope that once we were finished with a scene, or finished with the movie overall, that I managed to change their perspective based on what they were expecting.

Switching gears slightly, how does it feel to be on the cover of WWE 2K18? And were you expecting any fan backlash after smashing all those ironic wrestling items in the reveal video?

No, I didn’t really expect too much backlash. I thought it was cool and exciting. I got to smash things with a bat. Take off Andre’s head. Burn a bunch of stuff and break glass with my fist. It was a cool experience. We shot it in LA in this abandoned mall, which felt super weird. I know they filmed some scenes from Westworld in there too, which is a great show so I was just excited to be on the same set of that show. It was a really spooky experience to be in an abandoned mall, but I think the spot turned out great. It was a big win for 2K, WWE, and myself. There’s certainly an element of responsibility that goes with being on the cover, but I’m just stoked for it. I think it’s awesome for our generation to have a guy on the cover who comes from the group of guys and girls on the road right now who are grinding it out every single day and night. I feel honored to have gotten the opportunity and that I was chosen to be that guy when it could have been anyone from Charlotte Flair to Sasha Banks to Roman Reigns.

Seth Rollins On The Self-Doubt He Went Through During His Knee Injury

Ex-Shield member and former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins recently did an interview with The Cage to promote an upcoming live event this weekend, and talked about his career in WWE. Rollins discussed the one point in his career where he really doubted himself, what it was like to finally wrestle again after the injury, and what arenas are most special to him. Check out the highlights here:

The point in his career where he doubted himself the most:

“Probably after my knee injury. It was a pretty devastating knee injury with the ACL, MCL, meniscus all getting ripped and having to be surgically repaired. There’s a lot of doubt as far as where do I fit in when I come back? Can I physically handle the wear and tear of what we do? Am I going to be the same performer I was before? Am I going to be skittish?

“A lot of confidence needed to be rebuilt from a lot of different areas, and I’m still working on that, but at the same time I do think a lot of those questions have been answered so for me that was probably the one time in the last six, seven, or eight years where I’ve really been like ‘can I go compete at the level I want to compete at?'”

Wrestling again after his knee injury:

“First time you get in the ring is kind of by yourself practicing in a warehouse running all over the steps, so there was a good bit of trepidation when it came to doing that because it came out of nowhere. We had a clearance date and then all of a sudden I’m ready to go, I had to get in the ring and test everything out, so it was a little strange to fall on it for the first time or try and jump on it as high as I could.

“Whatever I needed to do to get myself in that sort of condition that I was before. Once I got out there in the ring and was ready to have a match it was a completely different story. I felt the rush of adrenaline and that got me through pretty much everything. It gave me all the confidence I needed, it was like riding a bike again.”

The most special arenas he has performed in:

“Honestly, anytime we’re in Carolina it feels kind of like special because of all the history that has been there, the lineage between The Horsemen, Ric Flair – anything that’s gone on there over the past 30 to 40 years, it always kind of has a little bit of an aura to it. When we come to Carolina in particular it always has a good vibe and the fans are always wild and ready to go, so I’m expecting nothing less then that on Friday.”

Seth Rollins Says He’d ‘Absolutely’ Beat The Rock at WrestleMania

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins recently did an interview with Eagle 977 to promote a WWE Live Event and talked on a number of professional wrestling topics such as getting another shot at beating Brock Lesnar, saying he’d like to face The Rock at WrestleMania, if he thinks he could beat “The Great One,” and who his greatest rival in WWE has been. Here’s what he had to say:

Getting another crack at beating Brock Lesnar:

“If it were up to me, it would be tomorrow, ya know? But you got to wait for those title shots. Our champion currently is Brock Lesnar on Raw – our Universal Champion – and he is a force to be reckoned win. He is also somebody who chooses to defend his title and fight on his own time. So you really gotta be kind of lucky to land those title shots.”

Facing The Rock at WrestleMania:

“Obviously Rocky [The Rock], he’s a little busy these days, he’s doing some Hollywood things, doing some movies, making TV shows, all sorts of good stuff. If the opportunity came about, I would have no problem taking on The Rock at WrestleMania, sounds like a good time to me.”

If he could beat The Rock:

“Oh, absolutely, I’m in the prime of my career right now. The Rock, he’s past his prime, he’s had his day, he’s an old man at this point in time. I’m young, and youthful, and vibrant. I’m ready to go.”

Who his greatest rival in WWE has been:

“Ironically enough, my biggest rival is also somebody that I found myself recently aligned with and that was Dean Ambrose. Ya know, Dean Ambrose is somebody that I broke in with – The Shield – and we had a falling out and things didn’t go very well for us for awhile. But recently, we’ve kind of gotten back on the same page – to a certain extent – but we’ve had some big fights over the years.”

WWE hypes next week’s RAW

Several matches were set up for next week’s RAW on Monday night. Sasha Banks and Bayley approached RAW GM Kurt Angle backstage and both said that they deserve a shot at Alexa Bliss’ RAW Women’s Championship. Bayley stated that she has defeated Alexa Bliss twice recently and Sasha Banks noted that Bliss got herself counted out to retain the title against her at WWE Great Balls of Fire. Kurt Angle then made a match for next Monday between Banks and Bayley to determine who will face Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam for the RAW Women’s Championship.

Finn Balor faced Elias Samson on Monday night and was looking like he was going to be victorious. The action spilled outside the ring while Balor was in control and Elias Samson grabbed his guitar and bashed Balor in the head with it. The strike was so brutal that he busted Balor’s head open. On next week’s episode of RAW, Balor will look to get his revenge in a No DQ match against Samson.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins kicked off Monday’s RAW. Ambrose still doesn’t fully trust Rollins as a result of him turning his back on The Shield. Rollins asked Ambrose to get it over with and begged Ambrose to hit him with a chair. Ambrose refused and threw the chair out of the ring. The Miztourage then came down to the ring and beat the hell out of both Rollins and Ambrose with chairs. Later in the show, Ambrose and Rollins had a conversation with RAW GM Kurt Angle backstage. Angle said that they could face any two members of The Miztourage on next week’s RAW. Ambrose said that they wanted to face all three and Angle made the match official. It will be Ambrose & Rollins against The Miz, Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel next week on RAW.

Below is the video promo that WWE has released for next week’s episode of RAW.

Dean Ambrose Opens up on Early Shield Days, How They ‘Clicked Immediately’

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dean Ambrose recently did an interview with The Herald-Dispatch to talk about a variety of professional wrestling topics. “The Lunatic Fringe” discussed his ‘unhinged’ persona, his early days in The Shield, how he feels physically after winning and losing the world title. You can check out the highlights from their interview here:

The ‘unhinged’ persona:

“I feel like I’m a pretty sensible individual. I don’t feel unhinged (another characterization). It is what it is. Michael Cole (WWE announcer on ‘Monday Night Raw’ and pay-per-views) said it on TV enough times it clicked. I’m used to it. You know you get labels put on. In the ring, I don’t care. I fly by the seat of my pants, do whatever I feel like doing. Don’t worry about the consequences.”

His early days with The Shield:

“They threw us right to the wolves. We clicked immediately. We go week to week. We’d figure it out, did a lot on the fly. It all worked out. It’s a means to an end. Three new guys come in and kick the door down. It’s very rare three personalities work like that. You could tell we resonate with people. I’ve made way more money, got a lot more things done, a lot more work without them.”

How he feels physically after winning and losing the world title:

“You know they’ll come and go. You long to hold a championship belt, know it’s going to leave and you work to get one again. One moment you win a battle royal, you battle with a kendo stick, whatever it is. I don’t know any other way. I’ve been doing it so long. How’s my body doing? Terrible, I feel like crap. Doing this for over than a decade, not bad.”

Seth Rollins On A Possible Match With The Rock, Rusev On Being Tired Of John Cena

Rusev is tired of listening to “the same old American crap” from John Cena

WWE Superstars John Cena and Rusev made their returns on this past Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown. Cena cut a promo about the significance of Independence Day and Rusev proceeded to interrupt him. Rusev came down to the entrance ramp carrying the Bulgarian flag and bashed Americans for celebrating their independence by shoving hot dogs and burgers down their throats. Cena challenged Rusev to a Flag Match on SmackDown but Rusev declined. SmackDown GM Daniel Bryan then made the Flag Match official for WWE Battleground. Rusev took to Twitter earlier today and bashed John Cena:

Discussion: A match between Seth Rollins and The Rock at WrestleMania 34 seems highly unlikely. However, anything can happen in WWE. If The Rock does return to the ring in the future, which current WWE Superstar would you like to see him face?

Kurt Angle WWE 2K18 Press Conference Video

Kurt Angle recently spoke about the upcoming WWE 2K18 video game and being included in the game as a pre-order bonus. Angle also discussed Seth Rollins, who will be featured on the brand new game from 2K Sports. Below is a video of the press conference and some highlights:

Having an issue with Seth Rollins’ actions in the WWE 2K18 announcement trailer:

“Let’s be clear though. I have a small bone to pick with Seth Rollins. You obviously saw the announcement trailer. Seth broke into the WWE Archives and disrespected history. Up in flames went the memories of many incredible WWE Legends and Hall of Famers, who have come before him. Guys like Andre the Giant, “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, Ric Flair, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, [The] Undertaker, and many more. All I can say for now is just wait and see the pre-order announcement for the game, revenge may be on my mind.”

Being included in WWE 2K18 as a pre-order bonus

“I haven’t been in a WWE video game for more than a decade and I think it’s time to rewrite those records books. So today, I am very, very pleased to announce that I, Kurt Angle, will return to WWE in-ring action (virtually) for the first time in more than a decade through WWE 2k18. Oh it’s true. It’s damn true. It’s awesome to fall in the foot steps of many incredible pre-order characters before me, names like Bill Goldberg, Sting, Ultimate Warrior, and even Arnold Schwarzenegger. I also can’t wait to see all of you to play as my characters, to recreate all your favorite matches from my career, and wipe the floor with Seth Rollins.”

Jinder Mahal Says He Fulfilled Triple H’s Prophecy

WWE Champion Jinder Mahal did an interview with Times Of India to talk about a bunch of different professional wrestling topics including how he and Seth Rollins fulfilled Triple H’s prophecy, improving his ability on the microphone when he cuts promos, and who comes up with the different ideas of how to present his character. Here are the highlights:

Fulfilling Triple H’s prophecy:

“I believe it was the prophecy made by Triple H in NXT at that time (Gold Rush tournament). Two young guys who he thought were the future of the business and it turned out to be true. Rollins is a multiple-time champion, I am the current World champion. We were having main event matches in NXT and now we are in the main events in WWE. So I believe it was the prophecy of Triple H. He is one of the smartest minds in the wrestling business and wrestlers that are in NXT right now, main eventing NXT shows are the guys who you are going see main-eventing WWE PPVs in Raw and SmackDown Live in the future.”

Continuing to improve on his promo work:

“My promos have improved because I put in a lot of effort during my time away from wrestling. I did promos in front of the mirror, I used to record it on my cell phone, used to review it and worked on it. I always go to Vince after every promo that I do on television and I seek his advice.”

Whose idea it is on how WWE presents his character:

“A lot of it is my idea and actually a lot has come from Triple H as well. He is also very hand on working behind the scenes. Presentation is everything and it is very important in this business I believe. Look at the all-time greats like the Bret Hart, The Rock- look at Finn Balor right now, his entrance is spectacular. It is so impactful and it sets the tone for the match. So, I have been throwing in my own set of ideas with Triple H, along with the backstage producers, stage crews, lighting guys and it is a combined effort. Credit doesn’t go to the people working backstage, but they are an integral part of the show.”

WWE films a child actor to play a young Bray Wyatt

According to PWInsider, WWE recently filmed material with a child actor to play a young Bray Wyatt. There is no news yet on what this footage will be used for, but Wyatt is currently in a feud with Seth Rollins and the two will face each other at the Great Balls of Fire PPV. On this past week’s episode of RAW, Wyatt cut a promo on Seth Rollins after his victory over Curt Hawkins. Wyatt claimed that he was inside Rollins’ mind and that if Rollins doesn’t give in to his true self he will “burn”.

Seth Rollins: “A Club vs. Shield Rivalry Interests Me”

The Shield and The Bullet Club. Two of the most dominant factions in wrestling over the past decade – and WWE has the talent under contract to make this dream feud a reality.

Former Shield member Seth Rollins has been doing the media rounds to promote the new WWE 2K18 video game, for which he is the cover star. During a recent interview with the UK Sun, Rollins spoke about a potential Shield reunion.

Seth Rollins Interview Highlights

On a Potential Shield Reunion:

“I’m sure it could happen at some point, you never know. We’re all on our own page and have one goal in mind, like we did before. We’ve all got our individual goals now.

It would take something very special to get all three of us back together with a singular goal. That was the focus before, and the reason we came together to begin with, we had a singular goal to make waves.

Now we’re on our own, with our own individual goals, so who knows, never say never, but the good thing is I see all of us being around for a long time. There will always be the possibility of us coming back together and slapping on a tac vest.”

On a Potential Club vs. Shield Reunion

“A Club versus Shield rivalry interests me, for sure. Those are guys who have made a lot of success over the years in there own world. I think that would be a fantasy warfare. Those are all good gentlemen, hardworking guys. We’d have a blast in the ring, we could make some magic if it ever came down to it.”
