    ‘ROH’ Faction In NXT?, Shayna Baszler Talks Transition To WWE (Video)

    – According to PWInsider.com, WWE officials have had discussions of putting all of the former ROH wrestlers new to NXT together in a faction.

    This week’s episode of NXT featured the surprise debut of former ROH wrestler Kyle O’Reilly. Dubbed “a world-famous combatant,” O’Reilly lost to Aleister Black in the main event.

    Similarly, Bobby Fish, who was O’Reilly’s tag team partner in ROH, lost to Black in his NXT debut on the July 12 show.

    Former UFC Fighter Wins AIW Women’s Title, Ronda Rousey Appears (Video)

    Former UFC fighter and TUF veteran Shayna Baszler won the AIW Women’s Championship at their event in Cleveland, Ohio on Friday night, and former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey was among those who were there to help her celebrate.

    Pictured above, courtesy of the official AIW Twitter page, is a shot of Rousey celebrating with Baszler after the match. Also featured in the image is another one of the Four Horsewomen members Jessamyn Duke.

    Featured below is a video of Rousey congratulating Baszler after her big championship victory on Friday night.

    – Women’s MMA fighter Shayna Baszler, a friend of Ronda Rousey’s, recently made her professional wrestling debut with Quintessential Pro Wrestling in Reno, Nevada over the weekend. She wrestled Cheerleader Melissa.

    – Johnny Gargano mentioned on Facebook that he’s issued a challenge to Ethan Page for the October 17th EVOLVE 49 iPPV. The challenge is that the match between the two would be in an “I Quit Match” and Gargano said if he quits, he will leave WWN Live.

    This has led to speculation that Gargano will be leaving to sign with WWE full-time. He’s been working in NXT on a per-appearance deal and has gotten great reviews for his work thus far.

    Stephanie McMahon posted the following tweet on her official Twitter account of herself backstage with Maria Menounos, UFC star Ronda Rousey and her Four Horsewomen friends (Jessmyn Duke, Marina Shafir and Shayna Baszler).

    The photo in the tweet alludes to the fact that Stephanie has accepted the ALS “Ice Bucket Challenge” from Menounos, who accepted the same challenge from Vince McMahon last week.

    Speaking of Stephanie’s Twitter account, she also tweeted this photo of herself in her ring gear at SummerSlam.

  • Ronda Rousey & The Four Horsewomen To Appear On WWE Total Divas?

    WWE Diva and Total Divas star Natalya once again trained with several members of the MMA female faction “The Four Horsewomen” last week.

    According to various sources, footage of Natalya training with Jessamyn Duke, Shayna Baszler and Colleen Schneider will be shown on the next season of WWE Total Divas.

    As noted, Rousey and the Four Horsewomen were in attendance at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view on Sunday night in Los Angeles, California.
