WWE’s William Regal recently appeared as a guest alongside Sheamus and King Barrett on an episode of the WWE Network show, Table For 3. During the show, Regal revealed that dressing in drag during a RAW Roulette show was his favorite moment in his career. He also spoke about how wrestlers shouldn’t take themselves too seriously and how his old WWE character defined his career. Below are some of the highlights.
On dressing in drag on RAW:
“That was probably my favorite thing I’ve ever done in the entire time I’ve been in wrestling. Doing that was the most actual fun I ever had.”
“If I’m going to do it, I’m going to do it right. I want the full Vegas showgirl [regalia]. I want the thing, but where are we going to get [that]? I want red high heels. Where are we going to get that? It just happened that we were in Vegas. Well, actually, I’m nearly a [size] 12 [shoe], so they went and got me 13 size red [heels], but we were in Vegas, so it was okay. It all worked out nicely.”
On how his five week run as a “Real Man’s Man” gimmick in WWE has defined his career:
“It lasted five weeks. I had a 30-year solid wrestling career in 40 countries and I’d been pretty successful at lots of things, but that five weeks has defined my entire career. And people still sing that song to me every day and I’m not making this up, every time I call the office, and they put me on hold, it’s that thing playing down the phone line.”
On how wrestlers shouldn’t take themselves too seriously:
“If you take yourself too seriously, you’ve got no chance in this job. You cannot take yourself seriously. You’ve got to embrace whatever is given and make the most of every opportunity to make it funny or to make it memorable. [Austin and Angle are] two serious fellas, right? So comfortable with themselves they’re happy to do anything. That’s the key to it. When you’re happy and you’re comfortable with yourself and you’re not worried about being a top guy, you’ll make the most out of anything and make it work.”
– WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus’ WWE Network “Pick of the Week” was his own victory over Roman Reigns at this past Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view. You can watch his comments on the pick above.
– Lance Storm took a light-hearted shot at Tyler Breeze when responding to a fan on Twitter who recently asked him how it felt to train some of the best talent in the world. Storm sarcastically replied with the following, which Breeze also reacted to.
– In honor of his birthday, Tyson Kidd posted a photo on Twitter of a pair of boots that were given to him by the late WWE legend “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith back in 1998.
Davey Boy Smith gave me these boots in 1998. They're one of my most prized possessions. Happy Birthday, Davey pic.twitter.com/IxbvPbPGkm
– Dolph Ziggler recently spoke with The Herald Dispatch to promote the WWE live event at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, West Virginia. During the interview, Ziggler spoke about being paired on television with Lana.
“It took us (Ziggler and Lana) time to develop chemistry. When we had that bond, it was OK,” Ziggler said. “I like to be in control, be the leader, do things myself. You know look out for myself. If Summer’s with Tyler, so be it.”
– ECW Original Taz has a Thanksgiving theme for the latest edition of “The Taz Show: Bodyslams & Beyond” podcast. The official description for the episode reads as follows:

– WWE posted the following tweet to promote a new WWE.com feature that looks at the history of WWE World Heavyweight Champions, including current champion Sheamus.
WWE World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus appeared on ESPN SportsCenter with Jonathan Coachman on Tuesday evening.
Coach asked Sheamus about the rumors of an ISIS attack at the Survivor Series pay-per-view on Sunday. Sheamus claimed WWE took the threat very seriously and worked with all of the agencies throughout the weekend to ensure everyone’s safety at the event. He said the company has also increased security at live events, noting “there’s no safer place than a WWE event.”
“The Celtic Warrior” also spoke about winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on Sunday. The Coach asked what it means to be the only Irish-born WWE Superstar to win the title. Sheamus said he’s always been proud to be Irish and that the Irish are the hardest-hitting athletes in the world right now. He references UFC’s Conor McGregor and NXT’s Finn Balor as proof.
The interview closed out with Sheamus talking about being on the sidelines with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish recently. He said he would also be with them when they win the National Championship later this year. He hyped his TLC title defense against Roman Reigns and that was about it.
At the WWE SmackDown television taping in Indianapolis on Tuesday night, a new title match was made official for the WWE TLC pay-per-view in Boston.
Recent WWE World Title Tournament finalist Dean Ambrose managed to defeated Tyler Breeze and Dolph Ziggler in a triple-threat match to become the new number one contender to the WWE Intercontinental Championship, earning himself a shot at Kevin Owens at the upcoming TLC event.
With that now known, below is a look at the updated WWE TLC lineup, including some rumored matches that are expected for the show.
TLC Match For WWE World Heavyweight Title
– Sheamus (c) vs. Roman Reigns
WWE Intercontinental Title
– Kevin Owens (c) vs. Dean Ambrose
Other matches that appear likely include Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger in a chairs match, The New Day vs. The Usos vs. The Lucha Dragons and The Wyatt Family vs. The Dudley Boyz in a tables match.
– After Monday’s RAW from Nashville went off the air, Roman Reigns cut a promo thanking the crowd for coming out and for supporting him. There was no dark match main event.
– Sheamus will be appearing on ESPN’s SportsCenter tonight for their weekly WWE segment. WWE’s new World Heavyweight Champion tweeted the following about Roman Reigns ahead of their TLC match in less than 3 weeks:
Reigns wont make it to #WWETLC… 3 long weeks away.
– Below is the WWE segment with Mark Henry, JBL and El Torito to promote the new Tex Mex Bacon Thickburger at Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. fast food restaurants:
On Monday’s post-Survivor Series edition of WWE RAW in Nashville, Tennessee, the main event for the WWE TLC pay-per-view in December was officially announced.
During the opening segment, Roman Reigns confronted Sheamus and said he wanted his rematch at RAW. Triple H would deny him that opportunity, instead watching on as Rusev attacked Reigns from behind and Sheamus hit him with another Brogue Kick to add insult to injury for the second night in a row.
After Reigns was attacked, Triple H told him that he would get his WWE World Heavyweight Championship rematch against Sheamus in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match at the WWE TLC pay-per-view.
WWE TLC is scheduled to air live on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated his blog, which you can read in its entirety at JRsBarBQ.com. JR wrote extensively about last night’s Survivor Series pay-per-view, including Sheamus cashing in Money in the Bank to capture the WWE Championship and how Roman Reigns gets back on track after such a disappointing turn of events.
Here’s what he said about Sheamus becoming the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion:
“Not surprised that there has been a great deal of negative feedback on the WWE Survivor Series and I assumed as much no matter what WWE did with the WWE World Title at the end of the night. I always endorsed the new champion being an Authority person so I wanted a heel to win the title while looking strictly at the big picture. I got my wish and I’m fine with Sheamus being the champion, for now.”
He continued, noting that WWE has their work cut out for them if they want Sheamus to be taken seriously as the face of the company.
“Is Sheamus hot? Absolutely not. Will he work hard and represent the company in a professional manner? Absolutely. The key element is to get Sheamus hot and to do so it can’t be done with him being booked in a 50/50 manner, being a cowardly heel, and without him getting on a roll and winning big matches via hook or crook preferably be cheating and showing no remorse for his tactics or physical style.”
There is much more to this blog – check it out at JRsBarBQ.com.
Sheamus spoke to Tom Phillips backstage after Survivor Series about his decision to cash in Money in the Bank. Sheamus asked Tom if he knows how long he’s been waiting for this moment. He’s stood by watching other WWE Superstars pass him by – but now it’s his time again. Ever since he won Money in the Bank, he’s been waiting patiently for his exact moment of opportunity. This was one of the greatest moments of his life and nobody is going to take it away from him.
The decision for Sheamus to cash in and become WWE Champion was not settled on until just hours before the show. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE officials were going back and forth all day on Sunday before finally settling on Sheamus winning. The plan is still for Roman Reigns to wind up with the WWE title sooner than later. As we heard last night at Survivor Series, a good portion of the audience was still rejecting Reigns. This could be a case of WWE first putting the title on an even less desirable person (Sheamus) so a Reigns title win will be received better than it was last night.
– The Undertaker is not scheduled for tonight’s RAW or tomorrow’s Smackdown tapings.
– Cesaro was not backstage at Survivor Series and is not scheduled to be on the road this week due to his shoulder injury. We’re still waiting to hear if he will need surgery.
– WWE.com is running a poll asking fans if they think Sheamus cashing in Money in the Bank was The Authority’s plan all along. With over 2,000 votes cast, 84% believe Triple H definitely had prior knowledge of the cash-in.
– Speaking of Sheamus, Big E tweeted the following about his Survivor Series tag team partner:
Could have used that effort earlier…Sandbaggin' ass…
Roman Reigns won the WWE World Heavyweight Title Tournament at the WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday night to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion for the first time in his career, however he would not leave Philips Arena with the gold.
Reigns defeated Alberto Del Rio in the semi-finals to advance to the finals later in the evening, where he would have to beat his “brother” and former fellow Shield member Dean Ambrose. Ambrose defeated WWE Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens to earn his spot in the tournament finals.
In the WWE Survivor Series main event, Reigns defeated Ambrose via pinfall after blasting him with a spear. Reigns had a lengthy celebration in the ring, complete with tons of confetti falling from the ceiling as he gets emotional holding the title when out of nowhere, Triple H’s music hit.
“The Game” made his way to the ring. He raised Reigns’ hand and tries to shake his hand, but Reigns refused. He ended up spearing Triple H, however as soon as he turned around, Sheamus blasted him with a Brogue Kick and cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase. He immediately covered Reigns but Reigns’ somehow still had enough in him to kick out before three.
Reigns ended up getting back to his feet, but after missing a Superman punch, Sheamus caught Reigns with another Brogue Kick and immediately covered him again. This time Sheamus got the three count. Sheamus and Triple H celebrated as Reigns stayed laid out in the ring as WWE Survivor Series 2015 went off the air.

The official description for the show, which you can download at PodcastOne.com reads as follows:
“Ryback had a great conversation with Steve Austin just before his “Hell In A Cell” match on Sunday. They talked about growing up in Vegas, playing high school football and baseball, why Ryback is the guy to replace John Cena (when the time comes) at WWE, Ryback’s workout philosophy & strategy, why he doesn’t believe in “cheat days” when it comes to diet, what “The Secret” did for his pro-wrestling career, how Arnold Schwarzenegger motivated him back to the ring, and his “Tough Enough” experience. You’ll also hear about Ryback’s relationship with Vince McMahon, why he prefers to travel solo, and how he continues to improve his own in-ring performance.”
– WWE announced a match between NXT Champion Finn Balor and “Mr. Money In The Bank” Sheamus for the November 4th stop in Dublin, Ireland during their European tour. WWE tweeted the following about the match today:
There is still no confirmation from within WWE regarding who is scheduled to answer John Cena’s “U.S. Open Challenge” at tonight’s WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view, however the strongest rumor making the rounds is that Samoa Joe will be the man to challenge Cena.
At last word, Joe was in Sacramento, California for the NXT events at the Aftershock tour, but it would only take a quick flight to get him to L.A. for Hell In A Cell if necessary.
Tyler Breeze is another rumor, as it would set up Breeze vs. Dolph Ziggler for the U.S. title, which has been talked about.
With that being said, multiple WWE sources have claimed James Storm, Tyler Breeze and Samoa Joe will not be the ones to answer Cena’s “U.S. Open Challenge” this evening.
Another rumor is Sheamus, as Sheamus vs. Cena is currently being advertised for the WWE live events that Cena is booked to appear on after returning from his scheduled hiatus.
Finally, there has been talk going around that Daniel Bryan could be the man to answer the challenge, as he is rumored to be in Los Angeles today, and is rumored to be officially cleared to return to the ring.

Former WWE champ Sheamus has made his feelings clear about UFC megastar Conor McGregor in the past and is now back at it. McGregor told him in the past on Twitter that “you will wake up with no teeth and your nose on my mantle,” if the two Irishmen ever fought each other.
Sheamus, who was sitting down with The Irish Mirror to promote WWE’s upcoming European Tour next month, commented on McGregor again.
When asked if he would fight McGregor, Sheamus pointed out that they’re in different weight classes, but that he could still “take” the UFC star.
He was having a go at WWE in these interviews he was doing. The first couple of times I let it go but then I decided to have a bit of craic and banter with him. If someone’s going to have a crack, that’s fine. Would I take Conor McGregor? No, he’s a lot shorter than me. I don’t think we’d be allowed fight—a heavyweight and a lightweight. Would I take him [if I had to]? Absolutely. Course I would. No one could take me. No one’s better than me. I could walk over anyone.
– Saturday’s WWE live event in Mexico City, Mexico saw Adam Rose kept out of the ring. Rose was benched due to the scare he had in Merida on Friday night. A fan took to Twitter with concerns for Rose’s well being, Rose thanked the fan and confirmed he was fine.

– After Sunday night’s WWE Night Of Champions pay-per-view went off the air, Sheamus retreated up the ramp to the backstage area with his “Money In The Bank” briefcase.
In the ring, Seth Rollins sold the attack from the returning, masked Kane for a couple of minutes before slowly making it back to his feet to cut a quick promo. Rollins scolded the crowd and then gloated about being the best WWE World Heavyweight Champion of all-time. Finally, Rollins headed to the back to officially end the show.
– New WWE Divas Champion Charlotte is scheduled to be one of the guests on tonight’s WWE RAW pre-show on the WWE Network.
After coming up short in his WWE United States Championship match against John Cena, Seth Rollins managed to retain his WWE World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Sting in the main event of Sunday night’s WWE Night Of Champions pay-per-view in Houston, Texas.
Following the match, Sheamus rushed to the ring and nearly cashed in his “Money In The Bank” briefcase, blasting Rollins with a “Brogue Kick,” only for a returning Kane — who came back with long hair and his traditional mask — to chokeslam him and stop him from doing so.
To make things even, however, Kane also choke slammed Rollins, and finished him off with a Tombstone Piledriver to end the pay-per-view.
During the WWE Night Of Champions 2015 Kickoff Show on the WWE Network, “Mr. Money In The Bank” Sheamus revealed a noteworthy item regarding tonight’s pay-per-view.
According to Sheamus, WWE World Heavyweight Champion and WWE United States Champion Seth Rollins will be defending both of his titles in back-to-back matches tonight.
Sheamus claims that Rollins will first defend his WWE U.S. title against John Cena and he will immediately follow that up by defending his WWE World title against Sting.
