Mask vs Hair
Pentagon Jr vs Sami Callihan

  • A Mask versus Hair match arguably the most talked about match of the night.
  • Pentagon hit his package piledriver and his tag finisher with Fenix on Callihan on television leading up to this match but Callihan kicked out of both, indicating Callihan won’t be finished so easily tonight.
  • If Pentagon wants to win this match, he’s going to have to go to great lengths to keep Callihan down.

Impact World Championship
Austin Aries (c) vs Moose

  • Aries has been saying Moose is a failed football player who is trying a new career.
  • Moose has been saying he left the NFL to chase his pro-wrestling dream.
  • Aries tried his old tricks on Moose recently on television this week. He attacked Moose from behind, hit him in the groin, and beat him up with a chair. Aries assumed Moose was down for good but was shocked when Moose got up and took the fight to him.
  • As Aries left the arena he looked less than confident for the first time in a long time.

Knockouts Championship
Su Yung (c) vs Madison Rayne

  • Su Yung has been haunting Madison Rayne in her dreams, luring her into fields, and dousing her with blood. It’s been a little weird.
  • Yung most likely has more than a wrestling match in mind for her opponent tonight.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMCp7-KqeWY

X-Division Championship
Matt Sydal (c) vs Brian Cage

  • The X-Division isn’t about weight limits, it’s about no limits. This vague yet somehow also descriptive line defines the X-Division and it also defines Brian Cage.
  • Cage has been kept strong on television all year. His only loss came via count-out against Sydal after Kongo Kong interfered.
  • Can Brian Cage win the X-Division title? Or will Matt Sydal use his 3rd eye to guide him to victory?

House of Hardcore Match
Tommy Dreamer vs Eddie Edwards

  • Eddie Edwards has spiraled into madness. His delusions have led him to believe Tommy Dreamer is his enemy.
  • Dreamer had only been trying to stop Edwards from making the same mistakes he did during his feud with Raven. Dreamer said he lost years of his life obsessed with Raven and didn’t want Edwards to do the same with Callihan.

5150 Street Fight
LAX (Santana & Ortiz) w/Konnan vs the OGz (Homicide & Hernandez) w/King

  • The culmination of a story that has been told all year. Eddie Kingston leads the OGz to enact revenge on Konnan.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpLMczobujQ&frags=pl%2Cwn

Fenix vs Taiji Ishimori vs Johnny Impact

  • It is being reported that Swann has been removed from this match due to the concussion he suffered on Thursday at MLW: Battle Riot.
  • Johnny Impact has stressed he needs to win this match to move up the rankings as fast as possible. He indicated if he doesn’t win a title in Impact before his wife Taya does, that he’ll never hear the end of it.
  • Fenix has been tearing it up on Impact television lately, he’s also scheduled to take on Sami Callihan on Tuesday night at the television tapings.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNwVeUuVPTM

Allie vs Tessa Blanchard

  • Tessa Blanchard dropped two matches to Madison Rayne during the last set of tapings. Both losses were via pinning combination, however, and Blanchard felt slightly. She attempted to get revenge on Rayne but Allie (who was teaming with Rayne at the time) fought her off, leading to this match.
  • Allie is from Toronto and should get a big pop from her hometown crowd but she will be in tough tonight against the fast-rising Blanchard.

Eddie Edwards On His Character Being A Young Tommy Dreamer

Eddie Edwards will face Tommy Dreamer in a House of Hardcore rules match tonight at Slammiversary tonight. The match will be a culmination of a storyline which began in January of this year.

Sami Callihan cracked Edwards in the orbital bone with a baseball bat during a set of television tapings this January. After a long feud with Sami Callihan, Edwards’ character spiraled. He began to see Tommy Dreamer as his enemy.

Edwards spoke with Interactive Wrestling radio recently about his upcoming pay-per-view match.

“I’m ready to leave it all out there in that ring to take Tommy out,” Edwards said. “I know Tommy, the Innovator of Violence, is ready to do that too. So, let’s go out there and see what we can do and see what we create along the way.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTDegMNnXxc&frags=pl%2Cwn

Eddie Edwards On Being Compared To A Young Tommy Dreamer

As his rivalry with Dreamer has evolved, some fans have compared Eddie to a younger version of his rival.

“Two weeks ago, you got to see the classic ECW Tommy Dreamer promo. He’s bloody, he’s talking crap to me,” Edwards said. “That is what people have wanted to see. That’s the beast, the monster that I’ve created along the way. It is an interesting story we have going on. As you said, mirror images. He’s trying to stop me from what he had become. Why stop me? He’s this Hardcore Legend.”

Edwards would continue to talk about the angle with Dreamer and Callihan which has carried through all of 2018 so far.

“This all stemmed from Sami Callihan and Tommy Dreamer and my wife getting involved,” he continued. “This is emotion. This is something that anybody can feel. Anybody that has been hurt or wronged or thinks they’ve been wronged, this is something they can watch and feel. This is emotion and I think that’s something that we can play with.”

Eddie Edwards vs Tommy Dreamer – Slammiversary – House of Hardcore Match

Edwards also addressed the 47-year-old Dreamer being worried about keeping up with him.

“I think that is a solid concern on his part,” Edwards said. “The same goes for me going into a House of Hardcore match. He was part of the original ECW – The man who created this violence. He is the “Innovator of Violence”. I know that. It is kind of this meshing of styles, putting he and I in a blender and seeing what comes out! (laughs) I’m looking forward to taking what he’s got. Does he still have it? Is he still that Tommy Dreamer that everybody loves? Let’s have a House of Hardcore match on the biggest pay per view of the year in front of a sold out crowd!”

Updated Card For Slammiversary XVI (7/22)

It appears that the card for the upcoming Slammiversary PPV event has been finalized.

This show is slated to be headlined by Austin Aries defending the Impact Wrestling World Title against Moose. Other top matches that are set to take place at this show include Su Young defending the Impact Wrestling Knockouts Title against Madison Rayne, and Matt Sydal defending the X Division Title Match against Brian Cage.

As of this writing, there’s no word yet on Rich Swann’s status for this show as he was injured and taken to the hospital following his tag team match at Thursday’s MLW TV tapings for what is believed to be a bad concussion. He is slated to take on Rey Fenix, Johnny Impact, and Taiji Ishimori in a Fatal Four-Way match at Slammiversary.

Rich Swann Injured At MLW Battle Riot, Doubtful For Slammiversary

Rich Swann debuted for Impact Wrestling this spring. Since that time, Swann has been involved in several well-reviewed matches with guys like Fenix, Sami Callihan, and oVe.

Swann is also an active wrestler with Major League Wrestling. At last night’s Battle Riot tapings, Swann was taken hospital with a possible concussion.

Swann’s injury is believed to have taken place during his tag-team match with ACH against Teddy Hart and Davey Boy Smith Jr. PWInsider is reporting that Impact Wrestling officials are aware of the situation and are looking to replace Swann in the match.

Slammiversary International 4-Way Match

The match Swann was scheduled for on Sunday’s pay-per-view was the international 4-way. He was to face Fenix, Johnny Impact, and Taiji Ishimori.

A possibly interesting note regarding Taiji Ishimori’s inclusion in this match is that Impact has stressed he will be representing Bullet Club when he does so. The promotion sent out the following on Twitter yesterday:

Taiji Ishimori working in Impact Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling at the same time is an interesting development. If further stars from NJPW are allowed to work Impact tapings and pay-per-views it could provide a big boost for the promotion.

Johnny Impact took part in a recent Impact media call. He had this to say regarding his match at Slammiversary.

“I can’t think of a better way to return to Impact than with this 4-way match between some of the most talented guys in the world, myself included,” Johnny said on a media call. “I plan on stealing the show for sure.”

“The guys in this match are really on the upper echelon of athletism and charisma,” Johnny continued. “I’m stoked, bro.”

Tommy Dreamer: WWE Offered Me A Lot Of Money To Close House of Hardcore

Tommy Dreamer will face Eddie Edwards this Sunday at Slammiversary. The match will be contested under “House of Hardcore” rules.

Dreamer’s House of Hardcore promotion has collaborated with Impact, Billy Corgan’s NWA, and we’ve even seen Tommy Dreamer in Lucha Underground this year. According to Dreamer, however, WWE once offered him a lot of money to close his promotion. Dreamer commented on the matter during today’s Impact Wrestling media call.

“WWE asked me to sign a contract when I went back with the Wyatts,” Dreamer said referring to his brief 2015 run with the company. “They offered me a lot of money to close House of Hardcore and I refused.”

Dreamer would also say he’s apprehensive about signing contracts with anyone.

“Impact Wrestling, I’ve worked there under a lot of different regimes,” Dreamer continued. “Once politics or BC started getting involved, I just left.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Y3__W8h2Bc&frags=pl%2Cwn

Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore

Dreamer commented on how his experiences with ECW are what helped shape his policy of not signing contracts.

“Everyone talks about ECW and the greatness of what was ECW and it was,” Dreamer said on the call. “But none of us ever knew that Paul Heyman was in bed with the WWE the entire time. I had to live with those effects for a long, long time.”

“I would not sign a contract with anyone,” Dreamer continued.

Tommy Dreamer vs Eddie Edwards – Slammiversary XVI (House of Hardcore Rules)

The Dreamer versus Edwards rivalry grew out of Edwards’ previous rivalry with Sami Callihan. Throughout the course of the Callihan vs Edwards feud, Dreamer attempted to talk sense into Edwards only to eventually become the subject of his delusions.

Edwards came under the belief that Dreamer was sleeping with his wife and confronted him at a House of Hardcore show in Philadelphia. Dreamer, upset at Edwards’ actions towards him, then challenged him to this match at Slammiversary.

Johnny Impact On Why Fans Should Be Watching Impact Wrestling

Impact Wrestling has been running frequent media calls to promote Slammiversary as of late. Johnny Impact was the featured guest yesterday and spoke about why he feels fans should be watching Impact Wrestling.

“When you’re surfing right before a wave breaks, that’s where you want to jump on and surf because you don’t want to miss the boat,” Johnny explained. “That’s what Impact is now.”

“The current roster of Impact Wrestling is possibly the best roster in the world,” Johnny continued. “You’ve got your traditional American psychology type wrestling but now we’ve got with Ishimori, with Pentagon, with Fenix, with Sami Callihan and Cage and Kevin Kross now, Aries, and of course, Johnny Impact. You’ve got this crazy blend of wrestlers from different styles from all over the world that make the matches on Impact infinitely interesting.”

“You’re seeing this collision of styles every time you’re out there.”

Austin Aries: This Is Really A Different Impact Wrestling

This Sunday at Slammiversary, Austin Aries will defend his Impact World Championship against Moose. Despite the pay-per-view recently selling out, Aries knows there is still work to do to improve the company’s reputation. He recently took part in an Impact Wrestling media teleconference.

“When people go ‘oh its the same old TNA, lol, or whatever’,” Aries said in reference to Impact’s historical reputation. “I know it will take time but I think now we are showing people with the product and what is going on in the locker room that this is really a different Impact Wrestling.”

“People should give it a chance and see if it might be something that they enjoy watching again,” he continued.

Austin Aries On His Relationship With Impact Wrestling

Aries returned to Impact Wrestling in January. He’d previously been at odds with the company’s old management regime.

“This time to me feels completely different,” Aries said. “There’s just a different energy and a different thought process. And a different foundation being laid as far as what’s being done behind the scenes.”

“I’ve been at odds with the company over the course of my career, I don’t think that’s a big secret,” Aries continued. “But I think the difference now why I’m back is because the people or the ideals that I had issues with are no longer there and attached to this.”

Austin Aries On What He’s Brought To Impact Wrestling In 2018

In a video posted to Impact Wrestling’s YouTube channel earlier this week, Aries said he returned to the company because he felt they needed him. We had the chance to ask Aries what effect he feels he’s been able to have on the company so far.

“I think, at the very least, I’ve been able to be a bit of a stabilizing force,” Aries said. “I think I’m someone who is a familiar face that for the fans who have followed this company for a long time, they can have some comfort in knowing.”

“They were able to bring a marquee player back into the fold,” Aries continued. “Which every company needs those guys in top positions to then help elevate the next group of guys.”

Austin Aries On Moose and Slammiversary

The build-up to Moose vs Aries has been done through sit-down interviews.

“I’m excited for this match-up coming up,” Aries said. “Moose, in his mind, feels like he’s ready, feels like he’s worked his whole life for this. I disagree and I think this is going to be a good learning experience for a man named Moose.”

Johnny Impact On Why Fans Should Be Watching Impact Wrestling

Johnny Impact will face Fenix, Rich Swann, and Taiji Ishimori on Sunday at Slammiversary.

Johnny Impact On Why Fans Should Be Watching Impact Wrestling

We had a chance to ask Johnny Impact why fans should be watching Impact Wrestling right now.

“The current roster of Impact Wrestling is possibly the best roster in the world,” Johnny said.

“You’re seeing this collision of styles every time you’re out there,” Johnny continued.

“Social media, the youtube channel, all the views are spiraling upward because there is a new interest in this product,” Johnny said. “That new interest is just a symptom of the fact that what we are doing is something that wrestling fans like to see.”

Johnny Impact would also compare Impact Wrestling’s current product to right before a wave breaks when you’re surfing.

“When you’re surfing right before a wave breaks, that’s where you want to jump on and surf because you don’t want to miss the boat,” Johnny explained. “That’s what Impact is now.”

Slammiversary takes place July 22nd, 2018 from the Rebel Nightclub Complex in Toronto. It will be available to purchase live on the FITE app.

3x MLB All-Star Curtis Granderson Headed to Slammiversary

Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Curtis Granderson will be appearing at Sunday’s Impact Wrestling Slammiversary pay-per-view. Granderson, a 3-time MLB All-Star, will serve as the special “title holder” for the main event.

Slammiversary will be headlined by Impact Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion Austin Aries defending against Moose. Slammiversary takes place from Toronto’s Rebel Entertainment Complex and will broadcast live around the world on pay-per-view.

As part of Impact’s cross-promotion with the Toronto Blue Jays to promote Slammiveresary, Johnny Impact will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch at Sunday’s home game against the Baltimore Orioles.

Curtis Granderson is a lifelong pro wrestling fan and has attended numerous IMPACT Wrestling shows over the years.

“I’m thrilled to join IMPACT Wrestling as ‘Title Holder.’ As a long-time fan, it’s an honor to be included as part of the World Championship match,” Granderson told ImpactWrestling.com. “Inclusion in this event will undoubtedly be the highlight of my year, off the baseball field, and I’m looking forward to seeing who comes out on top.”

Sunday night kicks off three nights of action for Impact at the Rebel Entertainment Complex. Following Slammiversary, the venue will host Impact Wrestling television tapings on Monday and Tuesday.

Impact World Champion Austin Aries commented on Granderson’s involvement in his upcoming title defense and sounds unimpressed.

Top Matches Announced For Slammiversary

Austin Aries defeated Pentagon Jr. during the Under Pressure special of Impact and won the Impact World Championship back from the Mexican star last week.

The big question after Aries’ victory was whether he’ll continue his rivalry with the Lucha Underground star or move on to a feud with an Impact star instead and it appears we now have the answer to this.

During the press conference for the upcoming Slammiversary event, it was announced that Austin will be defending his title against Moose at the upcoming show, meaning he’ll be wrapping up his feud with Pentagon.

Though, this wasn’t the only match announced for the event as the company also revealed that Su Yung will defend the Impact Knockouts Championship against Madison Rayne.

It’s worth mentioning here that Yung also became the champion during the same Impact episode where she defeated Allie to win the title.

Apart from this, the company has also announced that both Johnny Impact and Taiji Ishimori will be competing at the upcoming PPV but their opponents for the show are yet to be revealed. After the announcement, below is the updated Slammiversary match card:

Impact World Championship
Austin Aries (c) vs. Moose

Impact Knockouts Championship
Su Yung (c) vs. Madison Rayne

Johnny Impact vs. TBD

Taiji Ishimori vs. TBD

Slammiversary will take place on July 22 at The Rebel Complex in Toronto, Ontario.

2 Championship Matches Announced For Slammiversary

Impact Wrestling just announced 2 championship matches for their July 22nd Slammiversary PPV in Toronto.

The promotion finished a set of TV tapings in Windsor this weekend and then filmed a One Night Only PPV in Mississauga last night. This morning, Impact’s management team held a press conference in Toronto and announced the Impact World Championship and Knockouts Championship matches.

Impact announcer, Josh Matthews, announced Su Yung will defend her Knockouts Championship against Madison Rayne. Also announced, Impact World Champion, Austin Aries, will defend against Moose.

Knockouts Championship: Su Yung (c) vs Madison Rayne

Madison Rayne was on hand in Toronto and was announced as Su Yung’s challenger for the Knockouts Championship on July 22nd. Rayne was speaking with media when she was interrupted by a video of Knockouts champion, Su Yung.

Impact World Championship: Austin Aries (c) vs Moose

Moose was also on hand in Toronto this morning. The former NFL’er was announced as Austin Aries’ challenger at the upcoming PPV. Aries came out shortly after Moose. In addition to announcing the title match, Aries announced he was merging the Impact World and Grand Championships into one.

When asked what merging the titles will mean for the championship picture in Impact, Aries took a shot at a former champion. Aries stated that ever since Josh Matthews was Impact Grand Champion, the title lost all value. He then continued to say the title was created under a different regime and under different rules.

Impact Wrestling Returns

Impact also announced the return of two members of their roster. Johnny Impact will return to action at Slammiversary. The popular star hasn’t been seen in the promotion since earlier this year. His absence on television has been explained via an injury angle with Kongo Kong.

Johnny Impact and member of the Impact Knockouts division, Taya Valkyrie, were married over the weekend. The former Lucha Underground Champion will be a contestant on the upcoming season of Survivor. He will also be featured in the upcoming season of Lucha Underground as well (begins airing June 13th, 2018).

– Don West welcomes us to Slammiversary as we see Bobby Lashley arriving backstage with King Mo. Alberto Del Patron is then shown arriving as well. A Slammiversary intro video airs featuring Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, Sting, Kevin Nash, Hulk Hogan, Samoa Joe and others.

– We go to the arena and immediately see a hawk or falcon flying into the ring. Robert Flores and Don West are on commentary. Dave Penzer is in the ring and he introduces some guests including representatives from Pro Wrestling NOAH and AAA.

LAX (Santana & Ortiz) def. Garza Jr. & Laredo Kid; Drago & El Hijo De Fantasma; Naomichi Marufuji and Taiji Ishimuri: The GFW Tag Titles are on the line in this one, with two competitors in the ring at once. Santana and Marufuji start off trading chops and chain wrestling. Santana briefly takes control with a running shoulder block, but Marufuji comes back with a dropkick that sends Sanatana rolling away. Laredo Kid tags in and works over Marufuji until Marufuji tags in Taiji. Taiji hits a springboard splash off the top, then a backflip kick to the head. Ortiz comes in next and trades chops to the chest with Ishimuri. Ortiz hits a Northern Lights suplex for a two count. Ortiz hits a variation of a Death Valley Driver, then Garza makes the save. Garza hits a running headscissors, then a springboard arm drag. Drago and Hijo run in and start dropping everyone with double team moves. They clear the ring, then Hijo hits suicide dive to ringside. Drago goes for one of his own, but he gets tripped up by LAX on the apron, then Santana boots him in the head. Ortiz comes in and the LAX members double team Drago and Hijo. LAX hits the Street Sweeper on Drago then hit a double team backbreaker/leg drop combo. The other challengers run in which leads to a pyramid-type spot in the corner. Marufuji and Ishimuri double team Laredo Kid next but Hijo and Drago break it up. Fantasma hits a Frankensteiner on Marufuji, then Drago goes for a move off the top but he slips and falls. Drago hits a tornado DDT on Ishimuri for a two count. Both LAX members and Laredo Kid hit moonsaults on their opponents off the top simultaneously. Marufuji hits a suicide dive onto Santana at ringside. A distraction from LAX at ringside leads to Ortiz hitting a superkick on Hijo, but Hijo comes right back with a modified spinning piledriver. Santana breaks up the pin, then Hijo throws him outside and hits a suicide dive on him and Marufuji. Homicide hops on the apron and barely hits the Gringo Killa on Garza on the apron. Back in the ring, Drago and Ishimuri trade elbows to the face until Drago hits a hurricanrana. Drago throws Ishimuri outside then hits a corkscrew plancha. Back in the ring, Laredo Kid boots Santana in the head and hits a Spanish Fly for a two count. Laredo Kid goes back up top, but Ortiz runs in and suplexes him off. LAX hits a double team powerbomb/blockbuster on Laredo for the win.

– LAX celebrates in the ring after the match, and Konnan cuts a promo saying there’s a new member coming soon to LAX.

– Jeremy Borash is pacing nervously backstage when Joseph Park walks in and tells them their match tonight against Matthews and Steiner will be a no DQ match. Borash doesn’t like the sounds of that, but Park cryptically tells him not to be afraid to rely on an old friend.

– DeAngelo Williams and Moose are backstage getting ready to come out for their match.

DeAngelo Williams & Impact Grand Champion Moose vs. Chris Adonis & Eli Drake: Moose starts off against Chris and quickly takes control. Drake quickly tags in, and Drake says he wants Williams, so Moose tags in Williams. Willliams and Drake lock up and Drake gets him in a headlock. Williams pushes him off but Drake comes back with a shoulder table. Williams blocks a hip toss and flips around Drake to roll him up from behind for a one count. Williams gets Drake in a hammerlock then tags in Moose. Moose hits a splash on Drake in the corner with Williams hits a running cannonball. Moose follows up with a running dropkick on Drake in the corner for a two count. Moose punches Adonis off the apron, and that distraction allows Drake to drop Moose from behind. Chris tags back in and hits a suplex on Moose for a one count. Adonis works over Moose until Moose gets the hot tag to Williams who cleans house. Williams drops Drake with a Samoan Drop then hits a standing moonsault for a two count. Williams continues the offense then hits a neckbreaker, but Chris breaks up the pin. Alberto: Lashley Match Will Be 1,000x Better Than Lesnar vs. Joe

Impact Wrestling returns to pay-per-view on Sunday, July 2nd with Slammiversary XV. It’s the company’s first Slammiversary event under the leadership of Anthem.

The main event will see a world title unification match between Impact Wrestling champion Bobby Lashley and Global Force champion Alberto El Patron. To promote the match, both men recently spoke with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. Each man spoke about their strategies heading into the match and the current state of Impact Wrestling.

It was Alberto El Patron who had the most newsworthy quote of the interview, promising that his match against Lashley will be better than Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe’s upcoming match at Great Balls of Fire. Not just better, but a lot better.

“Our match is going to be a thousand times better,” said Patron in hard-sell mode. “I have deep respect for Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe, and I know they’ll give the fans an amazing match, but they’ll be limited by the politics in that company. That company won’t let one of them give one-hundred percent to the audience, they’re going to hold them back. Impact Wrestling says, ‘Here is the ring, go do your thing.’”

Alberto El Patron and Bobby Lashley are world class athletes deserving of headlining one of Impact’s biggest shows of the year. Whether or not they can deliver on these very high expectations remains to be seen.

TNA Executive Reveals Slammiversary Almost Didn’t Happen Without Last Minute Emergency Funding

TNA Wrestling came perilously close to financial ruin over the weekend. Sunday night’s Slammiversary was on the verge of not taking place, if not for the frantic damage control by TNA Chief Financial Officier Dean Broadhead.

Broadhead posted the following message on his personal Facebook page, revealing that it took more than 80 phone calls to employees, vendors, bankers and lawyers from Thursday through Friday as he tried to secure interim financing to get TNA’s “production trucks to roll” for Slammiversary and this week’s Impact TV tapings. He wrote:

“On Thursday and Friday, I logged over 80 business calls on my cell…attorneys, accountants, vendors, bankers, and employees. Maybe time to retire but maybe not until everything is in the right place. To answer why, I had a 12-hour timeframe to secure interim financing so that the production trucks could come – lawyers, bankers, accountants, and owners. Some of them were out of the country. Some were on the west coast and some were on the east coast. That was the reason for all of the calls.”

Broadhead’s savvy financial management is believed to be a major factor in TNA staying afloat the past several years. As noted over the weekend, Billy Corgan is purchasing a minority stake in the company and that cash infusion is what allowed Slammiversary to take place.

TNA dodged a major bullet this weekend, but one has to wonder how many of these ‘close calls’ TNA can afford before disaster strikes.

TNA Slammiversary Results – June 12, 2016

Impact Wrestling drew an all-time record low of 267,000 viewers and a 0.09 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic for its post-Slammiversary edition of the show this week. Those numbers are down 28 percent and 25 percent from the week before and are the lowest ratings for an original Destination America airing of the show to date.

The previous low was the first Wednesday episode, which aired on June 3rd. That show drew 297,000 viewers and a 0.09 demo rating.

Impact Wrestling’s midnight replay added just 51,000 viewers and a 0.01 demo rating, down from last week’s 82,000 and 0.03.

This week’s edition of ROH TV drew 157,000 viewers and a 0.05 demo rating, down 15 percent in viewers from last week’s 185,000. The viewership was the lowest on Destination America but the rating was tied for last week with the highest yet.

ROH’s 11pm replay drew 81,000 viewers and a 0.03 demo rating, down from last week’s 145,000 and 0.04.
