– WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch was scheduled to be sentenced on DUI charges this Friday, but the hearing has been postponed until July 3rd in Carbon County, Pennsylvania. Sunny has been in treatment for her problems since mid-March, which is the reason for this latest delay.
– Ric Flair was once again not in attendance for this past weekend’s WWE live events. Flair was at Detroit’s Motor City Comic Con for a Horsemen reunion.
– The big NXT Takeover announcement WWE has been teasing for Tuesday will air as live on Facebook at 11am EST.
– Below is the latest UpUpDownDown Guest Week video with Xavier Woods and Deji, the comedic gamer:
– Summer Rae posted the following this weekend, after helping her mom and sister feed families at UNC hospital in NC:
Hall of Fame Diva Tammy Sytch (aka Sunny) — has finally checked into a rehab center after being arrested for DUI three times in 2015.
Sources have told TMZ Sports that Sytch has reached out to friends in the last month or two, letting them know she was finally going to get sober. Although before she checked in to the rehab center, sources say Tammy was telling friends and family that she was hopeful her rehab stay would help avoid or “offset” possible jail time for the 3 DUI cases. Sytch’s will be sentenced for the DUI’s in May.
ProWrestlingSheet.com spoke with Tammy’s sister about the rehab center. She described the center as a “retreat that focuses on the body and mind while using holistic approach offering, yoga, music therapy, art and holistic supplements to help the body heal.”
Tammy Lynn Sytch has been in the news quite a bit recently, when it was reported that she had struck a deal with Vivid Entertainment for an adult film. Sytch entered the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2011
– WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross recently updated the Q&A section of his website, which you can check out at JRsBarBQ.com. Here are some quick highlights from this installment:
Lack Of Build For WrestleMania 32: “It’s Wrestlemania and the stories are yet to be told so I’m reserving judgment until I see the matches. I do feel the card will exceed many fan’s expectations.”
WWE’s Reaction To Fans Rejecting Roman Reigns: “I have no idea what WWE thinks as I’m no longer there. I do think some fans resist Reigns because they feel he’s been force fed to them while others, like me, think he’s been miscast.”
His Thoughts on RAW’s booking: “The bottom line appears to be that Raw is often times over written and talk is at a higher priority than is wrestling or so it seems.
– After spending two weeks in the hospital back in February, WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch just spent another week undergoing medical treatment for infectious colitis and diverticulitis. She tweeted:
Finally out of the hospital for the past week. This time infectious colitis and diverticulitis. Fun stuff
– WWE was selling a unique Brock Lesnar shirt at WWE Roadblock on Saturday night in Toronto. The shirt, which featured The Beast sending a moose to Suplex City, sold out and will probably make for a nice collectors item.
Tammy “Sunny” Sytch is not happy with being mocked on The Edge and Christian Show. WWE’s parody ad for Sunny’s Miracle Drops mocked her Erratic Behavior, “Cake Fancer” and DUI’s.
Sytch has had her share of brushes with the law. Back in 2012, she was arrested five times within the span of four weeks; for disorderly conduct, third degree burglary, and three counts of violating a protective order. She was arrested a sixth time in January 2013, also for violating a protective order. She served 114 days in jail and was released in May 2013.
The Original Diva fired back with this rant aimed at Edge and Christian:
those who matter in the WWE office called to check on me in the hospital a couple weeks ago. Edge and Christian are just douchebags #ugly1s
WWE took some brutal shots at Tammy “Sunny” Sytch on last night’s Edge And Christian Show That Totally Reeks Of Awesomeness.
The “Original Diva” has gotten negative headlines in recent years for various reasons, including her multiple DUI’s and of course the recent Sunny Side Up adult film. To recap some of her recent legal issues:
May 30, 2015: Charges filed when a police officer witnessed her “driving erratically” into a Wal-Mart parking lot. She won’t be sentenced until March 28.
June 1, 2015 and June 20, 2015: DUI: General Impairment/Incapable of Driving Safely, and DUI: Highest Rate of Alcohol (BAC .16+).
The June 1 arrest took place when state police pulled her over for driving under the influence. On June 20, she crashed her car, which resulted from DUI.
She also just got out of the hospital after a recent bout with pancreatitis.
To add insult to injury, last night’s Edge & Christian show on the WWE Network was presented by the following fictitious sponsor:
That’s right, Sunny’s Miracle Drops. For those that read the box, it says side effects include:
Erratic Behavior
Cake Fancer
DUI’s.
If this was the WWE’s version of being subtle, they didn’t do a great job at doing so.

One of the strangest stories this week involved The History Channel’s hit series “Pawn Stars” about the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, Nevada. One of this week’s new episodes, “First Lady of Pawn,” was advertised for last night with this description by Zap2It and anyone using their channel guide services:
WWE Hall of Famer, Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch, brings in her Hall of Fame ring; Corey checks out a 1927 Essex Sedan rat rod; an 1891 $1 silver certificate.
You can still see that description in the listing on LocateTV. Other guide providers, like TV Guide, just referred to it generically as just a WWE Hall of Fame ring being brought into the shop. Sytch, when asked on Twitter, angrily denied she’d be on the show, including after a fan showed a picture of the on-screen guide from his cable/satellite box:
Given her history as of late (including the storyline where her trying to sell the ring turned into her doing porn when she shot the video close to a year before she “put the ring up for sale”), not everyone believed her, to say the least. Well, the segment aired last night, and it turns out she was telling the truth:
It was some third party selling Paul Bearer’s ring. What exactly the miscommunication was, nobody knows as of yet. Being that it was only on one guide data provider’s listing, it makes you wonder if someone at Zap2It just guessed for some reason stemming from the publicity stunt Sytch pulled about selling the ring to promote her pornographic videos.
WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Sytch is currently hospitalized with pancreatitis. She underwent an endoscopy procedure yesterday and remains hospitalized in Leigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
In her recently released autobiography, she revealed that she has suffered from pancreatitis, an ailment brought on by alcohol abuse.
She noted on Twitter that she’ll soon begin working on her second autobiography with “more juicy stuff” from her days in the wrestling business.
Getting an endoscopy today. So I can't eat til after. Fun.
WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross his blog, which you can read in its entirety at JRsBarBQ.com. Here are the highlights of what JR wrote about:
Is AJ Styles Too Small To Draw Money In WWE?
“Anyone who thinks that talents like AJ Styles are too small to draw big money are fooling themselves and are truly living in the enhanced 80’s. Or, they’ve never had their ass whipped by a smaller guy especially amateur wrestlers who are under 200 pounds. Stars are not judged by pounds and inches but by talent, charisma and athleticism.”
Sunny Side Up:
“Vivid Video has announced that Tammy Stych’s adult film is available at their website plus Tammy has an autobiography coming out in the next few days. I will have Tammy on our Podcast in the coming weeks.”
WWE Fastlane Main Event:
“With three fan favorites in the main event of Fast Lane it’s obvious that at least one of them will be booed. Might be a long night in the uniquely booked match involving Reigns, Lesnar and Ambrose. Feels like it will be a challenging night for Mr Reigns. It’s baffling that Roman isn’t cast as a villain but you already knew that, right?”
According to a press release from Vivid Video, “Sunny Side Up,” the pornographic video starring Tammy Sytch, is now available on their website. The release had been hyped with an elaborate media campaign centering around Sytch trying to sell her WWE Hall of Fame Ring, Vivid (run/founded by long-time wrestling fan Steven Hirsch) offering her $100,000 for the ring if she’d do a sex video, and Sytch accepting. As we first reported about two weeks ago, this was all an elaborate storyline, as Vivid accidentally released the trailer before the entire angle played out. The video seems to have been shot sometime during Spring of 2015, as various people, including Dave Meltzer, have noted that she told them over WrestleMania weekend that she was signing some kind of lucrative contract.
The press release also mentions that Sytch has an autobiography, “A Star Shattered,” coming out this weekend from Riverdale Ave. Books. A 2013 article from the New Haven Register says that she wrote the book while in jail for assaulting her ex-boyfriend and violating multiple protective orders.
Here’s the full press release from Vivid:
WORLD FAMOUS WRESTLING DIVA TAMMY LYNN “SUNNY” SYTCH DEBUTS IN SUNNY SIDE UP, FROM LEADING ADULT MOVIE COMPANY VIVID ENTERTAINMENT
Says Sunny: “I Consider Myself Extremely Sexual”
LOS ANGELES – (Feb. 2, 2016) — Vivid Entertainment, internationally known for its celebrity sex tapes, introduces Sunny Side Up, a movie starring world famous female pro wrestling legend Tammy Lynn “Sunny” Sytch, at Vivid.com and on VividTV starting today, Feb. 2, and on DVD Feb. 9.
“We are thrilled that Sunny will be joining such celebrities as Kim Kardashian, Kendra Wilkinson, Farrah Abraham, Pamela Anderson, Chyna and others who have also starred in Vivid-Celeb movies,” said Vivid’s founder/co-chairman Steven Hirsch.
“I’ve always been a fan of adult movies,” says Sunny. “I consider myself extremely sexual and I’m also a voyeur. When I first thought about making the movie I was terrified. But then, as I was making it, I loved it. Vivid made the process a pleasure and I found everything about the company more professional than any wrestling experience.”
Known as the original “Diva,” Sunny is one of the most popular female personalities in the history of sports. In her adult movie debut she shows off her highly erotic side in three scorching scenes, including one with memorable back door action.
Sunny’s achievements include being a two time Slammy Award Winner, a member of the WWE Hall of Fame, the New England Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame and Pro Wrestling Illustrated Manager of the Year.
Born in Matawan, NJ, Sunny and grew up with a strict father who was retired from the U.S. Navy. She was introduced to professional wrestling by her long-time high school boyfriend, Chris Candido.
Sunny reveals everything about her life in her new autobiography A Star Shattered in ebook and paperback form which is out this week and will be available at riverdaleavebooks.com as well amazon.com, iTunes.com and wherever books are sold online.
As has been covered here the last few days,Tammy “Sunny” Sytch and adult film production company Vivid Video have gone back and forth in the media stemming from Sytch putting her WWE Hall of Fame ring up for sale on eBay. Vivid then went to TMZ, saying that they’d give her $100,000 for the ring…and a 90 minute sex tape. From the outside, it looked like the type of grandstanding that TMZ often reports on, just a case where it appears more likely to happen than usual because of whatever Sytch has been promising to show fans on Skype as of late.
SEScoops was sent a link(not safe for work, but we made sure you get a warning first in case you accidentally click) within Vivid’s website featuring the trailer for the video, which s titled “Sunny Side Up,” None of that is safe for work or appropriate for embedding here, even censored, but if you want proof in the event if the page being removed, this screen grab that we were sent of a disclaimer from the video has no such issues:
Tammy Sytch Sunny Side Up disclaimer (Vivid Video)
It seems like the decision was made that this would be the best way to promote the video, by virtue of getting an ongoing storyline going on TMZ that would more and more attention as it went on. There had been rumors within wrestling that the video had already been shot several months ago, but there was never anything close to concrete proof. Sytch had spent the last year or so openly shilling Skype video chat sessions with fans on social media for the last year or so. The posts/tweets were usually accompanying by photos of her in lingerie. Those who emailed her got a reply that went something like this one that Jerry Wiseman published at Examiner.com:
Hey!
I’ll be Skyping tonight after 7pm eastern time
It’s $10 for every 4 minutes of regular chat
$50 for 10 minutes with some skin (boobs)
$100 for 10 minutes to see a whole lot more ?
Let me know if you’re interested, and I’ll give you payment info
Once payment comes thru, I’ll contact you to set up a time
It’s a lot of fun! And you can do whatever you want on your end
Tam xoxo
We have no idea if Vivid will pull the trailer when this story goes up, but it’s been archived elsewhere if they do. If the $100,000 figure is real, that’s considerably less than she was offered by Playboy at the peak of her pro wrestling career.
The hits keep on coming for WWE Hall of Famer Sunny (Tammy Sytch). Just last week, the “original WWE Diva” plead guilty to multiple DUI charges. She will be sentenced later this month. Days later, she put her WWE Hall of Fame ring on eBay with an opening price of $3,000. Now, TMZ.com reports that ‘adult film’ production company Vivid Video has offered Sunny $100,000 for the ring – and for her to star in a 90-minute sex tape. Vivid CEO Steven Hirsch reportedly wants the film shot within the next two weeks, since she could be behind bars very soon.
On Sunday night, Sunny dropped an “N-bomb” on Twitter and was met with a lot of negative responses. She doubled down on her right to use the word and cursed out people who challenged her.
WWE’s “Original Diva” Sunny (Tammy Sytch) is selling her WWE Hall of Fame ring on eBay. Bidding starts at $3,000.
Sytch plead guilty to multiple DUI chargesearlier this week and will be sentenced later this month. Despite her legal predicament, she says the auction is completely unrelated. She told TMZ, “It’s time to let go of the past and selling my ring is the right way to get back on track!”
Update: It looks like the auction might have been pulled. TMZ got a screen grab of the auction (below) but an eBay search for the ring pulls up nothing and her eBay account page is blank.

WWE Hall Of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch pleaded guilty to multiple DUI-related charges in the state of Pennsylvania.
The “Original WWE Diva” plead guilty to a DUI charge for her arrest in Mahoning Township, Pennsylvania on May 30, 2015. This was the situation where she was arrested after she was seen crashing into a curb in the parking lot of Wal-Mart.
Sytch also plead guilty to charges of DUI – General Impairment/Incapable of Driving Safely and DUI – Highest Rate of Alcohol (BAC .16+) and BAC .02 or Greater Second Offense. Tammy Sytch will be sentenced on January 29th at 9am EST. in Carbon County.
Responding to news of the attacks, Sunny wrote on Facebook last night:
What I think the world needs is another Holocaust, but this time for the Islams of the world….. The ones who REALLY should be extinguished. HAIL TRUMP!!”
She apologized fthis afternoon, writing on Facebook:
Ok ok… I do apologize if I offended anyone by my post last night.. It was made in jest. What I do not apologize for is my own off-color sense of humor and outspoken ways… Baby, I was born this way…. And nothing is going to change that. What you see is what you get.
Sunny previously went on the defensive after drawing backlash for her original statement.
If you all can’t take my posts as what they are, mostly joking, as all my posts are… Then GET OFF MY PAGE ALREADY!! For cryin out loud!!! Unfriend yourself and make room for people who matter!!!
Attention haters…. Please feel free to unfriend me, block me, etc. I won’t hurt my feelings one bit…. In fact, I welcome it, so I can add people who really matter to my Facebook friends list. People who appreciate my freedom of thought and my off-color sense of humor. I will never change, so you might as well just go away. Mmm-Kay??
If all of you can get so butt hurt over MY Facebook statuses, it’s really sad that your daily life revolves around that , and not something a little more important… Like making a living? Your family? Your own life??
She also responded to a Twitter user this morning who accused her of being racist.
WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch was arrested on Wednesday 9/23 and is currently jailed at The Carbon County Correctional Facility in Nesquehoning, PA.
Sytch had a bench warrant issued on 9/3 after she missed three hearings that were scheduled to deal with her arrest from back in May, when a police officer noticed her driving erratically into a Wal-Mart parking lot and arrested her for driving under the influence. She also had a suspended license and was cited with careless driving. She is scheduled to see Judge Joseph J. Matika today and a trial is set to begin on 12/7.
In addition, she has another court date scheduled for 10/7 for DUI arrests that took place on 6/1 and 6/20. The charges for the June arrests include careless driving, failure to stay in her lane during traffic, driving without a license and DUI.

We reported in the past that a bench warrant was issued for the arrest of WWE Hall Of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch in Carbon County, Pennsylvania after missing a third hearing on September 3rd for her May 30th arrest.
As noted, Sytch was pulled over in a Walmart parking lot after police saw her hit a curb, which led to a DUI charge, careless driving charge and a charge of driving with a suspended license.
Sunny currently has a December 1st pre-trial conference scheduled and if no deal is reached by then, she will go before a jury trial on December 7th.
Regarding Sytch’s other cases, she has a preliminary court date scheduled for October 7th in regards to her arrests on June 1st and June 20th. There she will be facing charges of DUI, failure to stay in her lane, careless driving and driving without a license.
As we reported here at the time, Sunny was stopped in her car at 9:35am on June 1st for a vehicle violation and was found to be under the influence of alcohol. On June 20th, Sunny was arrested again after crashing her vehicle.
Sytch claimed via social media this past weekend that she was not given a DUI for the 6/20 accident, noting that she actually had a seizure behind the wheel while driving.
As reported on Sunday evening, Dr. Tom Prichard, formerly of “The Body Donnas” alongside “Skip” (Chris Candido) and “Sunny” (Tammy Sytch). According to Prichard, Sunny could be “nasty” at times and she was considered to be “not a nice person.” Sunny wrote the following response on Facebook:
“Finding out more and more how FAKE some people have been to my face for a 20 year period, whom I thought were friends, almost family. That’s OK. Just WAIT til you see how I AM to YOUR face the next time I see you….. Not gonna be pretty. ?#?TalkBehindMyBack? ?#?PhonyToMyFace? ?#?NoBallsToBeReal? ?#?Pussies? ?#?You?’llGetWhatsComingToYou”
And she also posted these comments:
“The LAST thing I am is fake or phony to anyone.. Everyone that knows ME knows that. I’m brutally honest, and tell it like it is. If I don’t like you, I don’t have a relationship with you. Period. I don’t act like your friend, because I’m not.”
Former WWE tag team champion & trainer Dr. Tom Prichard recently did a shoot interview talking about his former manager, Tammy “Sunny” Sytch, her 5 rehab stints and karma biting her in the ass for being a “pretty nasty person.”
“I’m responsible for me, you’re responsible for you, Sunny is responsible for Sunny. She’s had a lot of things happen in her life but when we were together, as a team and with Chris, she could be a pretty nasty person. Just not a nice person. I don’t wish bad or harm or negativity towards anybody whatsoever, but you gotta believe sometimes karma does bite you in the ass. I don’t like what’s happened to Sunny, don’t think anybody should have to go through that but if you’ve been to rehab more than 5 times, there’s a little part in there where they talk about those poor unfortunate souls that can’t be saved. There is a part in there, I know because I’ve been three times. I get it, I understand. Sunny has to help Sunny. If its got to be under supervision, she needs supervision. She needs help, she needs to go to meetings, she needs people around her. She needs a sponsor, she needs support. But you’ve got to want it and you have to want to do it. I feel bad for her but at the same time, you get what you sow sometimes. And that’s a bad thing. I don’t’ wish her any harm but you know what, she wasn’t a very nice lady.”
Former WWE, WCW and TNA writerVince Russo has posted a new blog entry explaining why WWE has put themselves in a really bad position with the Hall of Fame, in light of the various issues surrounding the likes of Chyna, Sunny, Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Snuka. Here’s an excerpt of what he wrote:
It was some time ago when I swooped in to protect the good name of my friend, Chyna, after Triple H made some unnecessary comments defaming her character on the WWE Network. Knowing that Joanie was living in Japan at the time, I wanted to give her the forum to be heard, because I felt she deserved that much. To my surprise, it was during that interview, that Chyna made the comment that Triple H hit her on one occasion during their relationship. That news blew up the internet as her valiantly protecting her name–turned to a horse of a whole different color.
That interview literally burned my bridge with the WWE. It was “suggested” by an employee of theirs that in the words of Bob Ryder, I received “nuclear” heat just by extending the forum to Joanie in order to get her voice heard. Hindsight being 20/20—I wouldn’t change my decision for the world and everything in it. I just felt it wasn’t right for Hunter—who I also thought was a friend on mind—to bully Chyna, knowing that she didn’t have a voice.
Which brings me to how all that drama started—the fictitious WWE Hall of Fame that only exists in the mind of Vince McMahon. Whether you are in, or out, solely depends on whether, or not, you have heat with him—and, him only. I can go through the laundry list of those that aren’t in the Hall, but what difference does it make any way? For the inductees, the celebration really is, “Vince likes me . . . he really likes me!” Oh, brother.
When Hunter made that statement about a kid typing Chyna in Google and finding out about her past, I knew then that those same words that he spoke out his backside, where going to come back and do much more damage than good? Why? Because there are a far amount of inductees in the Hall, that let’s just say, aren’t your model citizens. No, I’m not going to name names, because that’s not the point, the point is that by using the WWE Network to bury Chyna, Triple H has now buried the company that he so loves—to an even greater degree.
What I’m talking about are the three most current instances involving WWE Hall of Famers; Tammy Sytch, Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Snuka. Depending on how you want to rate their “Dirty Deeds”, I wonder in Hunter’s view, if the actions of his ex—because she needed to make a living—were more severe than the actions of, more notably, Hulk and Super Fly. I take Sunny out of that equation, because like Chyna, Sunny is currently making a living by using her “assets” in a way that is profitable. And, I LOUDLY applaud Sunny for standing up to the WWE juggernaut–when word on the street was that they weren’t happy with the Hall of Famers choice of work–and stating that since the WWE was in no way, shape, or form, currently financially assisting her—she was doing what she had to do to earn an income, and really didn’t care what they thought. Good for her.
WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch has responded to reports that WWE is not happy with what she’s been up to lately, including her run-ins with the law and the fact that she’s doing paid Skype calls with fans.
She posted the following on Facebook today:
“guess what?? the wrestling “news sites” are at it again! Now they are ‘reporting’ that the WWE is unhappy with me due to my current career choices and path… WELL….Let me let you all in on a little something…… The last time the WWE paid me ANYTHING was in 2012, a check for $1000, for an interview I did at Axxess during WM weekend. Before that it was 2011, a check for $5000, for the HOF weekend that I was inducted. NOTHING since then, not even royalties. They have done NOTHING to help me pay MY BILLS, and have paid me ZERO in 3 1/2 YEARS!! So, I ask you:::: WHY THE HELL SHOULD I BE CONCERNED WITH WHAT THEIR OPINION IS ON MY CAREER CHOICE, IF THEY ARE NOT CONCERNED IN THE LEAST BIT WITH MY FINANCIAL WELL-BEING AND STABILITY AND ABILITY TO PAY MY LIVING EXPENSES???? So I should live in a cardboard box just to make the WWE look good??? I THINK NOT. I’m making more $$ weekly than they used to pay me weekly when I was on the road with them FULL-TIME!!!! SO, until they start paying me weekly, I will continue to do what is best for ME, and no one else. So for now, THAT IS ALL.”
“Hey, yeah I do skypes.. Yeah Ive had a couple DUI’s. Yeah I spent some time in rehab and in prison…. SO F**KING WHAT. You all have never done ANYTHING wrong? I’ve made mistakes just like every one else. You move on. I LOVE WHO I AM…. and that’s all that matters. I’d rather have done the things I’ve done, than lived a boring uneventful life! Am I ashamed of any of it???? HELL NO!! It’s not like I’ve ever tried to kill anyone…. but hey, there’s still time , right??? hahahahahaha”

Although it wasn’t reported at the time, WWE Hall Of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch was arrested on DUI charges on May 30th in Lehighton, Pennsylvania.
According to The Standard Speaker, Sytch was stopped by police in the parking lot of a Walmart at 1:32am because police saw her enter the exit for the parking lot and hit a curb. Sunny then allegedly failed a field sobriety test and had a blood alcohol level of .253.
Sytch lives in nearby Palmerton and was charged on two counts of DUI and two summary violations as a result of the incident — one for suspended license and one for careless driving.
WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross recently updated his official Q&A section, answering questions from fans on a variety of topics. Below are some of the highlights.
On if he thinks GFW can get on Destination America: “I don’t know GFW TV situation except that they need to find a viable TV network to make themselves viable or they won’t make it.”
On Scott Steiner: “Scott is an interesting guy and I worked with him beginning in his rookie year.”
On if he expects to see blood at Elimination Chamber: “No I do not expect to see self inflicted wounds that cause bleeding this Sunday.”
On working with Sunny in WWE as an announce partner: “She had a sound aptitude for the business and did well at the announcer desk. Too bad outside influences adversely affected her.”
Check out more Jim Ross Q&A at his official website, JRsBarBQ.com.
WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross recently updated his official blog with some of his latest thoughts and comments. Below are some of the highlights.
On tonight being the last ever RAW at Nassau Coliseum: “Hard to believe that after all these years that this will be the last Monday Night RAW ever held at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island, New York. This arena has amazing significance in WWE history and certainly was one of my favorite arenas in which to work largely because of it’s heritage plus it was a nice, easy drive from my home in Connecticut back in the day. I hope the fans that are in attendance know the significance of tonight and I’d love to see WWE show some Nassau Coliseum highlights throughout the three hour broadcast. I’ve already set my DVR to watch the show later tonight.”
On the TNA/Destination America situation: “Still confounded about the debacle that is the TNA/Destination America train wreck and still awaiting something from the network that apparently isn’t renewing TNA come September. I hope that the promotion is keeping their talents and the talent’s families informed as to what is going on regarding this unfortunate matter. Leadership at the top in both organizations is crucial during these days as rumors and finger pointing seemingly is running rampant. Unfortunately, it seems as if TNA is at yet another crossroads and I’m hoping that they come out on the ‘other side’ better than they were when this matter exploded last week.”
On Kevin Owens and John Cena: “If there is another John Cena and Kevin Owens segment tonight on RAW, and obviously there has to be, Owens needs to retain his ‘heat’. He’s not ‘over’ yet and needs momentum going into the Elimination Chamber. Loved what I saw out of these two last week.”
On Tammy Sytch porn rumors: “Contrary to what some have asked me on Twitter @JRsBBQ I have not been conversing with Sunny on Twitter about the possibility her doing porn. That ‘s a faux JR Twitter account she thought was me, apparently. We haven’t communicated since her WWE HOF induction and I find it none of my business if she does or does not decide to make a porn movie. It’s not against the law and people have to do what they can to earn a honest living. It’s an undesirable trait of many in the entertainment businesses that performers get themselves into a situation that they have to do things that they normally might not do to pay their bills after their ‘run’ has concluded. It takes me back to my ‘Plan B’ philosophy that so many talents rolled their eyes at when I used to preach that philosophy. Nonetheless, I wish Sunny the best no matter what her decision might be.”
– Following a TMZ article that seemed to strongly indicate her interest, Tammy “Sunny” Sytch is changing her tune yet again regarding rumors of signing a six-figure deal with adult film company Vivid Entertainment. Sytch posted the following update on her official Facebook page:
“FYI: There is no definitive decision of me doing any kind of “video”. I was approached, but no decision or negotiations have been made. Don’t believe everything you read on the internet. If you do, you’re more stupid than you already were.”
– After airing a “First Look” preview of the new Jerry Lawler DVD last week, WWE will be airing the “First Look” of the new Daniel Bryan DVD after tonight’s Elimination Chamber “go-home” edition of RAW. The WWE Network schedule has the Bryan special listed tonight as beginning at 11:11pm EST.
– Speaking of the Daniel Bryan preview airing tonight, below is a trailer for the special:
