Chris Jericho jam session

Chris Jericho joined The Kicker for an episode of “Jam Sesh” to promote his new book No Is A Four Letter Word. During the interview, Jericho stated that people cannot request to be placed on the list. Jericho performed a song about how it is not wise to ask to have your name added to the list.

Jericho noted that he never knew what catchphrase was going to connect with the crowd. He thought the phrase “razzle-dazzle” was going to be a hit, but it failed miserably the couple of times he tried using it. Jericho also said that he thought “get it? got it? good!” would catch on with the crowd but that didn’t work either.

Miz & Maryse Announce They Are Having Their First Child (Video)

The Miz and Maryse announced that they will be having their first child together tonight on RAW. The Miz promised to be there for their child everyday, unlike RAW GM Kurt Angle who wasn’t there for Jason Jordan.

Maryse announced that they were having a baby and The Miz then pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket. As he was about to start his speech, Enzo Amore interrupted and came down to the ring. The Miz and Enzo then traded insults and it eventually led to a match between the two Superstars.

During the match, Enzo grabbed a microphone and said that The Miz “who’s your daddy?” in reference to the child. Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel then attacked Enzo ringside and The Miz planted Enzo with a Skull Crushing Finale. The Miz then shared a kiss with Maryse in the ring.

Renee Young’s Thoughts On Joining SmackDown Commentary, The Hardys Respond To The Miz (Video)

Renee Young’s thoughts on joining the SmackDown Live commentary team

Earlier this week, JBL announced that he will no longer be on the weekly SmackDown Live commentary team. JBL stated that he wanted to devote more time to at-risk youth and communities in Bermuda.

JBL will continue his relationship with WWE and will appear at marquee events such as WrestleMania and Tribute to the Troops.

Gorilla Position’s Twitter account suggested that Renee Young make history and join the SmackDown live commentary team. Young responded with the following:

The Hardy Boyz respond to The Miz’s offer

On last week’s episode of WWE RAW, Jeff Hardy won a Battle Royal to become the #1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship. Jeff Hardy will face The Miz tomorrow night on RAW for the title. Yesterday, The Miz asked both Matt and Jeff Hardy to join The Miztourage instead of having the match tomorrow night.

The Hardy Boyz responded and at first joked around that they were going to accept The Miz’s offer. They then declined and Jeff Hardy said that he will take the Intercontinental Championship on Monday night and that The Miz will become obsolete.

WWE has released a new Top 10 list on their YouTube channel. The list highlights times in WWE where a Superstar accidentally struck someone that they were not intending to. Possible Plans For Intercontinental Championship Heading Into No Mercy

Prior to SummerSlam, it appeared that The Miz was going to be involved in a feud with Jason Jordan for a while and the son of Kurt Angle will get a shot at the Intercontinental Championship sooner or later.

However, the only match these two had was a 6 men tag team match at SummerSlam in which Jordan teamed with the Hardy Boys and was defeated by the Miz and the Miztourage.

After this, the two stars didn’t interact on this week’s episode of Raw. Now it appears that this feud is over and WWE is planning something else for both the IC title and the Miz.

During the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the main event of this week’s episode of Raw and speculated that Samoa Joe could be next in line for a shot at the title.

Meltzer noted that their tag team match on Raw was possibly the start of a new rivalry and it could culminate in form of an Intercontinental Championship match at the upcoming No Mercy PPV.

It was also noted that if The Miz does gets involved in a programme with Samoa Joe the later may turn face for the feud and it shouldn’t be a surprise if he ends up snatching the belt from the former WWE Champion.

The Great Khali’s return at WWE Battleground was uploaded to YouTube and is closing in on 4 million views.

Jason Jordan on Miz TV preview

It was announced oh Monday’s episode of RAW that Jason Jordan will be on Miz TV next week. Jordan defeated Curt Hawkins in his RAW debut on Monday. WWE posted the following preview for Jordan’s appearance on Miz TV next week:

Jason Jordan has done his fair share of interviews since Raw General Manager Kurt Angle revealed that the former SmackDown Tag Team Champion is his son, but now the “gold-blooded” Superstar is set to be grilled by The Miz on “Miz TV,” live in Angle’s home city of Pittsburgh.

What questions might The A-Lister have in store for Jordan? Will we learn of his true aspirations now that he has joined Team Red? One thing’s for sure, even though Jordan’s the son of the Raw GM, The Miz won’t be pulling any punches.

Curtis Axel on being in the main event of RAW

WWE Superstar Curtis Axel recently joined the Miztourage along with Bo Dallas and The Miz. The Miztourage lost in a Handicap match against Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins on Monday’s episode of RAW. Despite the loss, Axel boasted on Twitter about being in the main-event of the show. Axel hasn’t been featured on RAW at all until recently joining the Miztourage.

The Miz Talks About Wrestlers Backstabbing Each Other In WWE

WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz recently did an interview with Mike Jones of DC 101 to promote next week’s Monday Night RAW in Washington D.C. Miz covered a number of topics including Roman Reigns having the ‘it’ factor, wrestlers backstabbing each other in WWE, his Miz-tourage, Brock Lesnar, and much more. Here are the highlights from their conversation:

Roman Reigns having ‘it’:

“Right now, he’s a really big good guy or a really big bad guy, it all depends on the way you look at it. He’ll walk out and get booed out of the building or he’ll walk out and get cheered out of the building. But the one thing that Roman Reigns has is the “it factor” and he’s a bonafide star who can go in a WWE ring.”

Wrestlers backstabbing each other in WWE:

“That’s the problem with everyone, like everyone’s not honest around WWE. I’m the person that will tell you straight up to you face, whether you like it or not, and most of the time people don’t like the things that I say. But what I say is the truth and sometimes the truth hurts and I guess people can’t take it. And so if you can’t take it then I guess you shouldn’t be in the ring with me with a microphone, you should just get away from me. That’s why I’m the Intercontinental Champion, my job is to make it them most prestigious, most relevant title in all of WWE and that’s exactly what I’m doing.”

Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel joining his Miz-tourage:

“It’s two talented individuals, not getting a chance. I’m a person that will give you a chance, and not only that, I will provide everything that possibly can for you. I even told Heath Slater that I wanted him as a part of The Miz-tourage. He didn’t want to be a part of it, he wanted to be the Intercontinental Champion. So then he goes up against me as the Intercontinental Champion and he loses, now where is he? You don’t really get to see him that much. Now where is Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel? They’re both on tv, each and every week, on Monday Night RAW.”

The reason Brock Lesnar is at the top of WWE:

“There’s a reason they call Brock Lesnar ‘The Beast’. This guy is to be reckoned with. He is a person who has been successful in WWE, he’s been successful in UFC, anything he steps into, he’s a bonafide star. So when you go up against him, you’re going up against someone and it could be your last match.”

His next acting project almost being ready to be announced:

“I think WWE’s a great training ground for that, and it’s helped me with my career in doing so much and I plan on doing more. You’ll just have to keep posted on the next thing that I’m doing because I have something in the works. It’s going to be pretty big and a lot of fun but I haven’t dotted the I’s yet. I don’t want to get the word out too soon but definitely keep an eye out. You’ll see what I’m up to in a few months.”

Big Cass Claims He Can Defeat Brock Lesnar (Video), Tye Dillinger Invites The Miz To SmackDown

Big Cass thinks he can defeat Brock Lesnar and become the next Universal Champion

Big Cass was a guest on RAW Talk after WWE Great Balls Of Fire went off the air. Cass defeated Enzo Amore in convincing fashion earlier in the night. Cass was asked about facing Lesnar and here was his response:

“It would be a tough task to go up against The Beast but if there is anybody out there that can do it, I think it is me. I think I can handle The Beast, I think I can go toe-to-toe with The Beast and I think I can beat The Beast. I think I can be the Universal Champion, in fact I think I am the next Universal Champion.”

Tye Dillinger invites The Miz to SmackDown

The Miz defended his Intercontinental Championship at Great Balls Of Fire against Dean Ambrose. The Miz was able to retain his title thanks to constant distractions and interference from Maryse, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. Tye Dillinger sent out the following tweet after The Miz retained his Intercontinental Championship and invited him to SmackDown:

The Miz and Maryse were also guests on RAW Talk last night. The Miz claimed that WWE was doing nothing with Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas, but he saw something in them while filming The Marine 5. Bo Dallas revealed that it had been two years that he has been involved in a WWE PPV in two years and that The Miz has given him an opportunity. You can check out a clip of the interview in the video below.

The Miz Talks About The Ball Family’s Controversial RAW Appearance

WWE Intercontinental champion The Miz appeared on the Hard Hidz Wrestling Podcast this week to promote WWE’s ongoing overseas tour. During the discussion, Miz commented on Monday’s controversial edition of MizTV featuring LaVar, Lonzo and LaMelo Ball. The segment went off the rails when 15-year-old LaMelo used a racial slur twice on live television, which resulted in WWE immediately putting out a statement condemning Ball’s actions.

The Miz spoke about the situation in detail on Hard Hidz. “People are still talking about it. It’s all over all of our sports hubs in America are just talking nonstop about it. They want interviews with me and everything. You know, when you have, you know, celebrities and everything come on our show you know, sometimes things get a little crazy because you never know what they’re going to do, what they’re going to say. You know, it’s one of those situations where, you know, you have a script but sometimes they don’t follow that script.”

Miz is a big basketball fan, so he knows the Ball Family and was excited excited to be involved with their WWE RAW cameo. He had mainstream notoriety outside of WWE from his days as a reality television star and understands why WWE brings in celebrities for special appearances.

“We have thousands of our fans who are diehards who just want to see us, WWE Superstars. They don’t want to see celebrities but we also have to cater to everyone. You know what I mean? We want more people to love WWE and to love our product so we bring, you know, outside celebrities in to help generate that because maybe they might not be diehard fans of LaVar Ball but there might be LaVar Ball fans out there who want to see what he’s going to do and now with all the attention we generated, maybe next week we’ll have more fans because of the people that were like, ‘Wow, you know what. I like that, I’m going to keep watching it now.’ So that’s kind of what it’s all about in my opinion.”

The Miz Recruits Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel To Be His New Entourage

The Miz is serious about holding on to the Intercontinental Championship and has recruited two third generation Superstars to help keep the gold in his possession.

On Monday’s RAW, The Miz approached a dejected Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel backstage and presented them with a unique opportunity. Miz said the two of them have star potential, but in WWE they’re nothing more than comedy acts. Miz wants them realize their potential and make their families proud. He offered them a chance to become his new entourage.

Later in the show, Dallas and Axel displayed their loyal to Miz by dressing up in bear costumes and attacking former IC champion Dean Ambrose.

The Miz has been doing phenomenal work in recent months and there’s no question that Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel have been underutilized for most of their WWE runs. Aligning themselves with the RAW brand’s A-lister could be the change needed to revitalize their careers.

Miz & Maryse Selling Los Angeles Home

According to Forbes, reigning Intercontinental champion The Miz and his wife Maryse are selling their Los Angeles based home.

The property is currently listed at $3.65 million, and includes 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. It is 4,500 square feet and includes a basketball court and a swimming pool.

The Miz’s IC Title Run

As reported here earlier this week, the Miz recently moved into sole possession of 2nd most IC title wins, with 7. He is now only behind Chris Jericho, who has won the title 9 times.

Miz is also on pace to eventually become one of the all-time greatest Intercontinental champions in terms of days spent as champion. He is now less than 100 days away from moving into 3rd place on that list, and the most of any wrestler since the 1980s.

The Miz Achieves Intercontinental Title Milestone

The Miz achieved a significant milestone at Extreme Rules, winning his 7th Intercontinental championship. While the statistic of how many times a wrestler wins a title is somewhat flawed, it is treated as important in WWE storylines.

With the win last night, the Miz moves passed Jeff Jarrett and Rob Van Dam for 2nd most IC title wins all-time. He is behind only Chris Jericho, who has won the title on 9 occassions.

Miz and the Intercontinental Championship

The Miz is also moving up the ladder in terms of his “Most Days Spent as Intercontinental Champion” statistics.

Currently the Miz has held the title for 354 total days, ranking him 12th all time. If he gets through Raw tonight as champ he’ll move passed Shelton Benjamin as the 11th most days as champ. He needs just 100 more days to move all the way into the #3 spot.

Top 10 IC champions of all time:

Pedro Morales – 2x champ – 619 total days
Don Muraco – 2x champ – 541 total days
the Honky Tonk Man – 1x champ – 454 total days

Bodybuilder Says WWE Should Test Jinder Mahal For Steroid Use, Miz & Maryse Magazine Cover

Natural bodybuilder Nick Miller recently posted a video on his YouTube channel and discussed why WWE should test Jinder Mahal for performing enhancing drugs. Miller pulled up WWE’s Wellness Policy on the company’s website and listed off several reasons why Mahal should be tested.

Miller looked at Mahal’s extreme vascularity and claimed that Mahal has “extreme almost unreasonable level” of low body fat and leanness from match to match. Miller said that Mahal used to have a “dad bod” and has undergone a wild body transformation. Miller also stated that Mahal has gynecomastia (swollen male breast tissue), which is a condition caused by a hormonal imbalance or elevated estrogen levels from possibly not recovering correctly from a steroid cycle. You can check out the Nick Miller’s entire video below.

The Miz and Maryse have made the cover of Dub Magazine. Tomorrow night at Extreme Rules, Dean Ambrose will defend his Intercontinental Championship against The Miz. If Dean Ambrose happens to get disqualified, The Miz will become the new Intercontinental Champion. The Miz posted the following about being on the cover of the magazine:

The #ItCouple graces the cover of @dubmagazine and we deem it #Awesome Huge thank you to @dubmagazine for turning a regular Jeep into The Most Must See Jeep in History. The Miz On The Success Of Miz TV, How His Career Has Changed Since Maryse Returned

USA Today’s “For The Win” blog has a new article that discusses the success of Miz TV and how The Miz’s career has changed since Maryse made her WWE return. Here are some of the quotes from The Miz featured in the article:

The original idea for Miz TV and how it has evolved over time:

“The first idea for Miz TV that came along in like 2011 and my idea was, I want to be on this thing and make fun of people and beat people up,” The Miz said. “All of a sudden, we did the show and I ended up getting beat up and made fun of. I was like, How does this happen?

“It’s changed over time where I have become an antagonist. I would push people’s buttons and see where I could get them for the most interaction. But we’ve also been able to use it as a showcase for (Miz and Maryse) and tell our story and get that across. That’s’ what I want to use it for.”

How Maryse returning to WWE has changed his career:

“I had become this arrogant and egotistical character, but ever since my wife has come back into WWE, I feel like my career has soared,” Miz admitted. “It’s given me a new type of confidence. Whenever you wrestle in Speedos in front of your wife, you want to show off. You don’t want to get your butt kicked in front of your wife. And she helps out where she can. It’s great having her around. She’s a huge part of why I’ve had the success I’ve had.”

The First Episode of Miz TV

Miz TV made it’s debut on September 17th, 2012. Booker T was the first guest on the show and the first episode ended with Ryback storming the ring and destroying the set. Sheamus & Cesaro were the most recent guests on the 58th episode of Miz TV on this past week’s episode of RAW.

The Miz on Being Disliked When he Joined WWE

WWE Superstar The Miz recently did an interview with Bleacher Report to talk about his career in the WWE, as well as his stint on MTV’s Real World before his pro wrestling career. You can check out what he had to say here:

Utilizing ‘The Miz’ character on MTV’s Real World:

“The Miz came in as a way to say exactly what I was feeling and not have any repercussions for it because it was a character I was playing. That character became very popular, not only with fans but with castmates.”

Being on ‘Real World’ helping him get ready for professional wrestling:

“It got me comfortable in front of the cameras. Whenever I had an interview, it wasn’t a nervous situation. That was something I’d done for a long time. It showed me I could play up to the cameras. The camera was my friend.”

Being disliked when he first joined WWE in 2006:

“I wasn’t liked. I think of WWE as a fraternity. You have the fans involved. You have the WWE Superstars involved. And you have me wanting to be a part of the fraternity and no one accepting me. …Every ounce of respect I have today, I had to earn. I guess I’m glad for it because it made me the person I am today and I like me.”

Check out the full interview here.

The Miz Names One Good Thing About Both John Cena And Nikki Bella

During the WWE’s recent European Tour, WWE Superstars The Miz and Maryse did some promotional work for the company in France. The Miz was asked a variety of pro wrestling topics and you can check out the best highlights here:

Why he holds the Intercontinental Championship so close to his heart:

“As a kid, growing up, my heroes all had the Intercontinental Championship. Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Mr. Perfect, Ric Rude, all of them. And they were the people I looked up to and wanted to be like. So coming to WWE, the one championship I wanted was the Intercontinental Championship. Not only that, I wanted to make it as prestigious as it was when I was a kid, but I also wanted my name to be synonymous with the Intercontinental Championship. That’s exactly what I’m doing and why I have such a pride for that title.”

If he can say one good thing about John Cena and Nikkie Bella:

“One good thing about Nikki Bella and one good thing about John Cena? They’re both gone from the WWE right now. There’s your good thing for both of them. Oh, you’re a big John Cena fan? Are you gonna cry because he’s not gonna be at the show today? What are you five?”

What goals he has left to accomplish in wrestling:

“I have so much more to do. Even though I’ve accomplished so much in WWE as well as having a franchise in The Marine, it’s still not enough for me. I always want more. I think that’s the drive we both (he and Maryse) have. Right? With all you’ve (Maryse) accomplished don’t you want more? It’s always what’s next. It never stops.”

The Miz Warns Daniel Bryan, Erick Rowan Posts Another Cryptic Video

The Miz Warns Daniel Bryan

The Miz and Maryse sent out a warning to Smackdown General Manager Daniel Bryan in a new video uploaded by WWE. The Miz stated that he would make Bryan’s life a living hell if he decided to split them up during the “Superstar Shakeup” on next week’s Raw.

Erick Rowan Posts Another Cryptic Video

Last night on Smackdown, Erick Rowan made his return. Rowan teamed up with Bray Wyatt and attacked Randy Orton. Former Wyatt Family member Luke Harper came to the defense of Orton and attacked Rowan. In the Smackdown main event, Rowan fell victim to an RKO from Randy Orton while Bray Wyatt laughed ringside. Rowan posted a new video on his Twitter account shortly after his return entitled “Resurrection”.

The Miz Talks About Fan Reaction To His Wrestlemania Match Changing Since It Was Announced

The Associated Press obtained a quote from The Miz during their yearly Wrestlemania story.  When rumors came out about the mixed-tag match between John Cena & Nikki Bella versus The Miz & Maryse, the reaction was overwhelmingly negative. There was speculation on who The Undertaker would face at Wrestlemania 33 in the months leading up to the event. Many thought that the best option would be for The Undertaker to face John Cena at Wrestlemania 33. During a promo on the February 28th episode of Smackdown, Cena even acknowledged this and said that he would rather be facing The Undertaker than The Miz at Wrestlemania 33.

The build to this year’s Wrestlemania has been one that has lacked a lot of buzz. Everyone gets excited for Wrestlemania, but many of the feuds felt like they were missing something. As things progressed, it turned out that the mixed-tag match was actually one of the more entertaining feuds on WWE programming. The perception towards the match has completely changed from when it was announced till now. John Cena, Nikki Bella, The Miz and Maryse have done a terrific job getting the WWE Universe invested in this storyline during the past several episodes of Smackdown.

The Miz on the fan’s reaction changing since the match was announced:

“I do whenever something is there and people are talking about it and making noise about it. Why deny the magic,” he asked. “It’s funny, when it was announced as a mixed-tag match, people were like, you’re kidding me. Cena deserves to go against the Undertaker, Miz deserves to go against the WWE champion. This is below them. And then, once it started, people started going, ‘Oh wait a second,’ people are telling me this is the match people are looking forward to most. People care.”

Daniel Bryan On Potential Match Against The Miz, Shinsuke Nakamura Discusses Wrestlemania 33

Daniel Bryan recently did an interview with James Delow of Gorilla Position and discussed a possible match with The Miz at Wrestlemania 34. Daniel Bryan claimed that he is not sure he would want to wrestle someone like The Miz if he was to return to a WWE ring. Bryan stated that he would prefer to wrestle against AJ Styles or Shinsuke Nakamura. The likelihood of Daniel Bryan wrestling again in the WWE remains very low. Our friends over at WrestlingInc shared a clip of Daniel Bryan discussing a potential match with The Miz.

The WWE uploaded a video of Shinsuke Nakamura at Radio Row in Orlando earlier this morning. Nakamura stated that the match he is most looking forward to at Wrestlemania 33 is Shane McMahon versus AJ Styles. Nakamura is wrestling NXT Champion Bobby Roode at NXT Takeover: Orlando tomorrow night.

The Miz Calls Cena Feud A “Real-Life Story” (Video), The Rock On Possibly Attending WrestleMania

– On Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown it was announced that The Miz and Maryse would face John Cena and Nikki Bella in a mixed tag match at WrestleMania. Following the announcement, WWE uploaded a video where The Miz called their issues with Cena & Bella a “real-life story.” The Miz said everything he and Maryse said on SmackDown was true, and feels SmackDown general manager Daniel Bryan is biased in favor of Cena.

– Former WWE Champion Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently had a Twitter exchange with 2017 Warrior Award recipient Eric LeGrand. When asked, The Rock noted that he’s “trying” to get down to Orlando for WrestleMania 33 next month. Here’s what they had to say:

Daniel Bryan Hints At Returning To The Ring In 2018

Last night on Talking Smack, The Miz was once again a guest. The Miz spent most of his time ranting about John Cena, but also took a couple of shots at Smackdown GM Daniel Bryan. The Miz and Daniel Bryan have had a bizarre feud since the brand split. The Miz has incorporated a lot of Daniel Bryan’s offense into his own move set. The Miz often does the “yes!” chant to mock Daniel Bryan. The Miz infamously went off on Daniel Bryan during an episode of Talking Smack and it caused Daniel Bryan to storm off the set.

Last night, The Miz mocked Daniel Bryan for not being able to wrestle anymore. Daniel Bryan said that he could still wrestle but the WWE will not allow him to. Bryan also said that he may wrestle again in a year and a half. Bryan’s WWE contract is rumored to be up sometime in 2018. If Daniel Bryan doesn’t get cleared by the WWE medical staff by then, he may find somewhere else to go where he would be allowed to perform in the ring. Daniel Bryan has stated in numerous interviews that he wants to wrestle again. Bryan has also said that things may change now that he is starting a family with Brie Bella. Time will tell if we ever see Daniel Bryan wrestle again and if it will be inside a WWE ring.

AJ Styles Flips Out At Shane McMahon After Smackdown, The Miz Rants About John Cena On Talking Smack

AJ Styles lost his chance to face Bray Wyatt for the WWE Championship last night on Smackdown. Styles had already defeated Luke Harper last week to ensure his spot in the main event at Wrestlemania. However, Randy Orton announced that he does want to fight Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania. This all lead to a match last night on Smackdown between Orton and Styles. There have been rumors for weeks that Styles will be facing Shane McMahon at Wrestlemania.

Last night on Talking Smack, The Miz went on another rant about John Cena. The Miz stated John Cena stole his personality from every white kid with an identity crisis in the 1990s.
