– Fandango (Johnny Curtis) worked this weekend’s WWE live events and was accompanied to the ring by a beautiful young lady. They danced before the match and we have not heard anything about his dancing partner being an NXT Diva. Fandango will debut at tonight’s SmackDown tapings.

– As seen on Monday’s RAW, WWE will be holding “Old School RAW” next week, with the classic RAW opening video, on-screen graphics, arena setup, interview segment format and appearances from WWE legends. During the promos that aired on Monday’s RAW, legends that were shown as appearing include Mean Gene Okerlund, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes and “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase.

On Monday’s WWE RAW from Dallas, Texas, John Cena defeated CM Punk in the main event to earn a shot at The Rock’s WWE Championship at WrestleMania 29.

Immediately after Cena’s win, The Rock tweeted:

– The Rock’s new movie “Snitch” opens today and it’s getting positive reviews from critics. Review aggregation site RottenTomatoes.com currently has the movie listed with a 51% approval rating. The USA Today newspaper gave the film 3 out of 4 stars and had this to say about the WWE Champion’s performance:

“Johnson is terrific, as he further matures as an actor. He’s no action hero/one-man-army here. It’s a far more nuanced performance than he’s given before … Johnson is thoroughly convincing as an undercover informant, as well as a businessman and concerned father.”

“The film is fast-paced in the beginning and end but lags somewhat in the middle. Still, the dramatic nature of the story, more than the action sequences, make the movie most compelling.”

– WWE Champion The Rock is being advertised for the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view, which takes place on May 19th from the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri. This is an unexpected move, as The Rock will be taking time off from WWE after WrestleMania 29 to begin filming the movie “Hercules” overseas.

– Speaking of Hercules, Norwegian actor Aksel Hennie has signed on for the film.

The Rock will be off television for a few weeks, as he’s currently in Panama filming his new TNT reality competition show, “The Hero.” He is booked for the following upcoming RAW events:

After the post-WM29 RAW, The Rock will be headed to Hungary and Croatia to film “Hercules,” a project that he’s stated in interviews is very important to him.

The Rock has been preparing for the role of Hercules for close to a year, which is why he’s so muscular right now. Since filming for Hercules begins right after WrestleMania, his physical training and his physique will be peaking at that time.

– WWE’s announcement of of WrestleMania XXX heading to New Orleans in April 2014 got a ton of local media coverage.

– The Hollywood Reporter has a review of The Rock’s new film Snitch, which hits theaters February 22nd. Their ‘Bottom Line’ calls the film, “A serious-minded, well-made yarn of a father’s risky descent into the drug underworld to save his son.”

– Bill Goldberg re-tweeted the following comment from a fan regarding Ryback:

At Monday’s WrestleMania XXX press conference from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, The Rock spoke about his long history with the city, which includes playing college football National Championship games, wrestling for WWE and filming movies.

At the conclusion of the press conference, The Rock had a stare down with John Cena, who is presumed to be The Rock’s WrestleMania 29 opponent. We’ll find out next Monday on RAW if that match will still take place.

After the press conference, The Rock was interviewed by the local Times-Picayune newspaper about whether we’ll see The Rock compete at next year’s WrestleMania XXX event.

“I can’t tell you that,” Rock said, before giving a laugh and a smile. “No, I can’t confirm – I can’t tell you that.”

WWE Champion The Rock joined the social media photography service Instagram over the weekend. The first picture he posted was of himself doing a promotional interview for “GI Joe: Retaliation.” You’ll see that The Rock has the WWE Championship belt with him for the interview, something we’ll be seeing a lot of in the coming weeks as the road to WrestleMania 29 continues.

– John Cena congratulated his WrestleMania 29 opponent, The Rock, after his win over CM Punk at Elimination Chamber:

– WWE announcers Michael Cole and JBL will be hosting their JBL & Cole show today from the New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, Louisana, site of tonight’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. The show will take place outside the arena at 3:30pm, with the best sign getting two free tickets to the show.

– WWE Champion The Rock has committed to working next year’s WrestleMania 30 event, according to f4wonline.com The Rock will be a regular part of WWE television through the end of April when he takes off again to film the new movie Hercules in Hungary and Croatia. As we’ve been reporting, there is talk that he’ll be wrestling again at SummerSlam in August.

– WWE Champion The Rock spoke to MTV News this week to hype his upcoming movie releases and told them that he will not be playing the DC Comics character Lobo on the big screen, as was previously rumored. There is talk that the movie won’t be happening at all.

– Zack Ryder worked last night’s WWE NXT live event in Fort Pierce, Florida. He teamed with NXT Tag Team Champions Adrian Neville and Oliver Grey to defeat The Wyatt Family in a six-man tag match. After the match, Ryder tweeted, “NXT was #SSSIIICCCKKK tonight!”

– Tamina Snuka and Kaitlyn to tweet back and forth leading up to their Divas title match at Elimination Chamber. Tamina tweeted this weekend:

– Warner Bros. has commissioned a new script for “Spy Hunter,” the feature film adaptation of the classic video game. At one point, The Rock had been rumored to star in the movie before it was put on hold.

– WWE United States champion Antonio Cesaro was interviewed by Brian Sosia of Philadelphia’s Mix 106 FM radio station this week to promote Sunday’s Elimination Chamber PPV.

– The latest issue of WWE Magazine features the following movie poster for the WWE Studios film “The Marine 3: Homefront” starring The Miz:

– Paul Heyman has picked this week’s WWE Classics Five-Star Match of the Week and selected Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock for the Undisputed WWE Championship from SummerSlam 2002 as his pick. The match saw Lesnar defeat Rock to win his first WWE title and become the youngest WWE Champion in history, up until that point. Here’s what Heyman told WWE.com about the match:

“First of all, I disagree with the designation that it’s The Rock vs. Brock. It is Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock. Brock deserves top billing. And he deserves top billing because he won the match. [Brock] did not win the match with outside interference. In fact, The Rock hit me with a Rock Bottom through a table. I was not an equation. Brock Lesnar defeated The Rock cleanly to become the Undisputed WWE Champion. And in doing so, he put his boot on the neck of The Attitude Era and anointed himself the new reigning monarch of the WWE Universe.”

– WrestleMania 29 tickets are selling very well, although the event has not yet sold out, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. WWE has already grossed around $11 million from ticket sales and the final gate is expected to top $12 million by the time the show sells out.

– WWE.com has a new “Wayback Wednesday” feature up looking at “10 moments you never expected to see in WWE,” including Shane McMahon appearing on the final WCW Nitro in 2001, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels hugging on Monday Night RAW, Eric Bischoff debuting on WWE RAW and hugging Vince McMahon and Bruno Sammartino’s WWE Hall of Fame induction announcement.

– As noted earlier this week in our “What Happened After RAW” report, The Rock and John Cena had a face-to-face confrontation after the TV broadcast ended, with both men pointing at the WrestleMania 29 sign hanging above the arena. According to WWE sources, the Rock vs. Cena match is one of the matches that’s a lock for April’s big show. Lesnar vs. Triple H is also booked, with Triple H expected to return to WWE television in the weeks ahead to confront Lesnar for putting Vince out of action with an F5. As of this past weekend, The Undertaker’s status for WrestleMania is still unconfirmed. While it’s possible that he does wrestle CM Punk, other plans are already being discussed for Punk’s opponent in the event that the Undertaker takes this year off. One idea was for Punk to be added to the Rock vs. Cena match, making it a triple threat match. It is more likely Punk will get paired up with another main event superstar in an effort to keep him at the top of the card.

After Monday’s WWE RAW from Nashville went off the air, Damien Sandow came out as The Rock was getting up from CM Punk’s attack. Sandow had a microphone with him and ran down the people of Nashville for cheering The Rock’s story, including the man of “questionable

Sandow got a Rock Bottom and a People’s Elbow. The Rock began to celebrate and as he began walking to the back, John Cena’s music hit. Rock and Cena had a stare down and both men pointed to the WrestleMania 29 sign hanging at the top of the arena.

The dark match main event, which was originally scheduled to be a tag team match, was John Cena vs. Dolph Ziggler. The match was said to be great, with the referee getting knocked out at one point and Big E. Langston interfering on Ziggler’s behalf. In the end, Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment and got the win.

Justin Roberts thanked everyone for attending RAW and said WWE will be back in Nashville soon.

* Plans For Lesnar vs. Triple H & Paul Heyman’s Big Surprise

During The Rock’s promo at the end of Monday’s WWE RAW, The Rock referenced his old buddy Jeff Jarrett when talking about his early days in the wrestling industry. After RAW, The Rock tweeted:
