Full Content Listing For WWE’s New DVD Set On The Shield

The Shield will always live in the minds and hearts of the WWE Universe.

When the group first made their way onto WWE television, they were an instant hit with the fans. From the way that they looked to how they worked in the ring to their promos.

They got over big time with the fans, which is something that a group had not done in years. Stables will be created from time to time but not have the success that acts like The Four Horsemen, DX, NWO and other classic groups had.

The Shield, who featured Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns, was a different kind of stable that was created with NXT Superstars.

WWE will be releasing “The Shield: Justice for All” DVD that will feature three discs in July. Disc 1 focuses on Dean Ambrose, Disc 2 on Seth Rollins and Disc 3 on Roman Reigns. Courtesy of Wrestling DVD Network, here is the content listing:

The Shield Wrestles After RAW, New Nia Jax – Enzo Amore Storyline (Video), Paige Returns

– This week’s WWE RAW saw Paige wrestle her first match in more than a year, picking up a win over Sasha Banks. Paige’s last official match came during the July 27th, 2016 RAW episode. She teamed with Sasha to defeat Dana Brooke & Charlotte Flair that night. This week’s RAW also saw more dominance from Paige’s new “Absolution” stable with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. They once again took out Banks, Bayley and Mickie James and later surrounded Asuka in the ring but The Empress of Tomorrow left before anything could happen, like last week.

– The dark main event after this week’s RAW in Los Angeles at the Staples Center saw WWE Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose defeat Samoa Joe and RAW Tag Team Champions The Bar. Hank Guthrie sent word that The Shield called Joe, Sheamus and Cesaro back to the ring after they retreated through the crowd as RAW went off the air. For those who missed it, the RAW main event saw Joe help The Bar retain the RAW Tag Team Titles over Rollins and Ambrose.

– It looks like WWE is beginning a new storyline with Nia Jax and WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore. This week’s RAW featured Nia flirting with Enzo and asking “how YOU doin’?” after Enzo ended a backstage segment with The Zo Train. You can see video of the segment below:

What Happened After RAW, Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose On Their RAW Debuts, Asuka

– Tonight’s WWE RAW saw Asuka keep her undefeated streak going with a win over Dana Brooke. Below is post-show video of Asuka talking to Mike Rome. The Empress of Tomorrow thanks Dana for keeping her undefeated.

– There was no dark main event after tonight’s RAW in Houston but The Miz did get put through a table by new WWE Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.

– As noted, tonight’s RAW also saw Paige make her return. She brought WWE NXT Superstars Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose with her and they beat down Sasha Banks, Bayley, Mickie James and later RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss. Mandy and Sonya tweeted the following on their main roster debuts:

Big Invasion Angle Closes The Final SmackDown Before WWE Survivor Series (PHOTOS & VIDEOS)

Tonight’s WWE SmackDown in Charlotte, NC, which was the final show before Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view, saw the RAW roster finally get revenge on the SmackDown roster for the recent “Under Siege” attacks.

The big brawl started when The Shield interfered in the SmackDown main event, which saw The New Day take on Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. This led to Team Captain Kurt Angle, Braun Strowman, RAW Tag Team Champions The Bar and other red brand Superstars destroying blue brand Superstars, including Team Captain Shane McMahon. SmackDown went off the air with Team RAW standing tall while Team SmackDown struggled to recover.

You can check out the current Survivor Series card for Sunday at this link.

Braun Strowman Appears From Hole In The Ring (Video), The Shield Blasts The New Day (Video)

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wY-sDy0l4Ms?rel=0&w=560&h=315]

– As noted, Braun Strowman ended this week’s WWE RAW in Atlanta by powerslamming Kane through the mat. While there was no dark main event after RAW, WWE did film a segment with The Monster Among Men rising from the hole in the ring, seen above.

– Below is post-RAW video of Charly Caruso talking to The Shield following their win over WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz and RAW Tag Team Champions The Bar. This was the first win for Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose as a three-man team since defeating Evolution’s Triple H, Batista and Randy Orton at WWE Payback 2014.

Regarding their match against The New Day at Sunday’s Survivor Series pay-per-view, The Shield says The New Day really likes to talk but they like to fight. The New Day likes to play games and joke around but The Shield likes to fight. Reigns says they don’t feel like The New Day is on their level and if they’re right, they will be sending The New Day right back to that B Show they came from. Believe that.

The Shield Set To Face IC Champion and RAW Tag Champions Tonight On RAW

After several battles with make-shift teams, The Shield will take on the Intercontinental Champion and the RAW Tag Team Champions.  Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns, face up against The Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro.

Roman Reigns has been off duty with a viral infection, causing the shock change to the TLC PPV card that saw Kurt Angle complete the 3 vs 5 main event.

Triple H also appeared at a house show in Glasgow, donning the tactical vest and ending the match-up with a 3-man powerbomb which was made famous by Roman and his fellow Shield members.

Last week saw RAW Under Siege Part 2, with The New Day raising the alarm, forcing Kurt Angle to call all superstars into action to chase off the invasion during a tag team title match: Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose vs Sheamus & Cesaro.

The Bar was able to take advantage of the confusion, causing a surprising change of champions, who will now face The Usos at Survivor Series.

But before then, The Bar will have to team up with the Intercontinental Champion, The Miz, to take on a recovered Shield team that will feature the original 3 members.

Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will be looking to seek revenge for losing their titles, and Roman Reigns will be looking to make a statement on his return by sending a strong message to The Miz and anyone else who thinks that they can mess with The Shield.

While the match won’t feature any title changes that affect Survivor Series, it holds potential to be an extremely good showdown between the 2 groups before The Shield takes on The New Day on Sunday.

Opinion:

Whether you have a positive or negative opinion of Roman Reigns, it’s hard to not feel excited about seeing all members of The Shield in the ring together taking on the current top heels in the brand.

The Shield Reveal The “Fourth Member” Of Their Faction

In the latest edition of the WWE Network’s Table For 3 special, former WWE World Champions The Shield reunited at the dinner table to share some memories about their run as a trio.

Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose discussed several topics, including how Joey Mercury is the “fourth member” of the group due to all the great advice he provided them backstage.

Mercury was released by WWE back in January and returned wrestling on the independent scene shortly thereafter. He is the reigning MCW Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion.

https://twitter.com/WWEMercury/status/922826883062009857

Here are some highlights from The Shield’s Table For 3 appearance:

Rollins on Joey Mercury being the fourth member of The Shield for all his good advice:

“I was talking to an old mentor of ours, Joey Mercury, the other day,” Rollins said. “I miss Joey a lot too. I love him so much. Very, actually, integral part of The Shield. He should maybe be the fourth seat [at the Table For 3 dining table] because he was the behind-the-scenes Shield brother.”

Reigns on Mercury advising them to all stick together:

“A lot of it came from Joey. Remember, he told us… I know y’all remember he told us,” Reigns continued, “he told us, do you know what I mean, ‘you guys are going up together. I know [Ambrose] and [Rollins] worked together a lot. [Reigns] hasn’t really been around those two a whole lot, but y’all have to stick together. Y’all have to let the whole locker room, everybody needs to know that The Shield are like a legit unit, always together, walking the hallways, sit in catering together.’

“And we did that. We rode together. [Ambrose] slept on the floor the majority of the time and I owe [him] one for that one. Do you know what I mean? We trained together. We did everything together. I think that until we were able to break the tripod and get our own two feet for each man down, we leaned on each other until now and everybody leans on us, so that’s what Vince [McMahon] and Hunter [Hearst Helmsley] are looking for. [Rollins] remembers that talk. They want leaders.”

A Member Of The Shield Rumored To Turn Heel For WrestleMania Feud

The WWE Universe is elated to finally see Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose reunited on WWE TV to reform The Shield – but that happiness could once again be crushed by WWE as we approach WrestleMania 34.

As we all know, Seth Rollins betrayed his Shield brethren to initially break up the faction when he stuck a steel chair into the backs of Reigns and Ambrose on the Monday Night RAW after their Payback win over Evolution. It seems that Reigns and Ambrose have since settled their differences with Rollins since the betrayal and now unite to take on Braun Strowman, Kane, The Miz, Sheamus, and Cesaro at Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) this weekend.

Following TLC, however, how long are The Shield expected to stay united? Per a report from PWMania (via Sportskeeda) the WWE is actually planning on turning Dean Ambrose heel to set up a feud between he and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. It’s still early in the WrestleMania planning faze, and ideas change on the drop of a dime, however, it’s worth noting WWE is considering a Rollins-Ambrose match-up.

Discussion: Is the WWE making a mistake by turning Ambrose heel and breaking up The Shield again? Who would you like to see each of “The Hounds Of Justice” take on at “The Show Of Shows?”

3 Feuds We Want To See For The Shield

Earlier this week, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose put their differences aside  and reformed the most dominant WWE faction of the past decade, The Shield. They’ll do battle with Braun Strowman, The Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus next weekend at TLC in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match in what’s sure to be a violent affair that solidifies the fact that they’re back in a big way.

Sure, the Shield reunion is in part a vehicle to finally get fans behind Reigns and their alliance might not last forever. And WWE does not currently have many unified trios on the roster besides The New Day and The Miz, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. But while we’ve got them, we’ve come up with three feuds we want to see for The Shield.

The Club: Styles, Anderson & Gallows

the club

AJ Styles is on SmackDown, while The Club is on RAW with The Shield. This predicament would typically prohibit such a pairing, but we’re right around the corner from WWE’s next inter-brand pay-per-view offering, Survivor Series on November 19th.

The odds are stacked against The Shield at TLC, when the Hounds of Justice square face four of RAW’s top talents. Even with the 1-man disadvantage, it’s virtually a foregone conclusion that The Shield won’t be losing their first big match back together. They’ll get a feel-good win at TLC and will be looking for their next challengers. Enter The Club.

Earlier this week, AJ Styles did an interview with Planeta Wrestling and was asked about this exact scenario. When asked if he thought The Club could hang with The Shield, a confident Styles had no doubts whether or not the ‘Good Brothers’ could emerge victorious from a clash with Reigns, Rollins and Ambrose.

“I think that if Gallows and Anderson and I got together, we would dominate just like we’ve done before,” said Styles. “There’s no doubt about it.”

They raised hell in New Japan Pro Wrestling several years back as part of the Bullet Club and they’ve paired together in WWE.

Looking back at some of WWE’s recent pay-per-view booking (Lesnar vs. Joe, Lesnar vs. Strowman, Cena vs. Reigns, even Cena vs. Joe at live events), the company has not been shy about pulling the trigger on big money WrestleMania-caliber matches.

The Club is our top “dream match” for The Shield and Survivor Series is the time and place to make it happen.

Samoa Joe & The Authors of Pain

joe aop

Talk about three guys you wouldn’t want to have beef with. Samoa Joe is currently out of action since suffering a knee injury back in August. During an interview with Sky Sports the following month, Joe said his recovery is going really well and said his knee had only been at around 80% capacity since joining WWE.

Joe also revealed that his breathing ability was only around 60% as a result of breaking his nose eight times throughout his career. During his time away, he had nasal surgery and said, “You have no idea how invigorating it is” after undergoing the procedure. “Now it’s the best I’ve ever felt, it really is.”

After dropping the NXT Tag Team Championships to Sanity at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn during SummerSlam weekend, the Authors of Pain have been rumored to be joining the main roster imminently.

A refreshed Samoa Joe will spell trouble for the entire RAW roster when he returns. Pair him with Akam, Rezar and Paul Ellering and you’ve got a virtually unstoppable force to challenge The Shield.

Kevin Owens, Sami Zayna and … Neville

owens zayn

This final trio might be an unlikely hypothetical due to Neville’s current standing with the company and the fact that Owens and Zayn are on SmackDown, but hear us out. Neville has reportedly been frustrated with his role on RAW and 205 Live and may have outgrown his role as the ‘King of the Cruiserweights.’

Despite his questionable booking in recent months, Neville is one of the top performers in WWE and remains under contract. Since he’s done it all in the Cruiserweight division, WWE should move him to SmackDown and align him with Zayn and Owens.

On SmackDown, Neville would have a fresh crop of opponents to work and he, Zayn, Owens could work against pairings like The New Day, Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable, The Fashion Police and variations of Orton, Styles, Nakamura and others.

This is the least likely group that could work with The Shield, but there’s no question these 6 men would have great matches together.

Discussion: What 3-man pairing would you want to see challenge The Shield?

AJ Styles Talks About Reuniting With Gallows & Anderson To Battle The Shield

AJ Styles is convinced that if he, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson could take out the newly reformed Shield.

The former WWE United States Champion spoke with Planeta Wrestling this week and said Sunday’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view was the best show SmackDown put on this year. Reacting to Sami Zayn aligning himself with Kevin Owens, AJ stated once again that he’s willing to team with Shane McMahon to battle Owens and Zayn.

“Shane and I have got a lot of respect for each other especially after WrestleMania, and the guy’s a stud, so you’ve got to respect that about him,” said Styles. “I’ve never really liked Kevin Owens and now that Sami Zayn has joined his crew, it doesn’t make me like Sami Zayn anymore. So you never know, it may happen.”

This partnership is expected to take place next month at Survivor Series as part of a Team Shane vs. Team Owens elimination match.

Of course, the big news of the week is the reunion of The Shield. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose will have their hands full at TLC next weekend when they battle Braun Strowman, The Miz, Cesaro and Sheamus. After that, they might be crossing paths with The Club.

When asked about a possible Club vs. Shield showdown, Styles said he’d love to get back together with his ‘good brothers’ and is certain his crew would come out on top.

“Absolutely,” he said about The Club’s ability to hang with The Shield. “I think that if Gallows and Anderson and I got together, we would dominate just like we’ve done before. There’s no doubt about it.”

Bully Ray Comments On Shield Reunion, Ex-WWE Divas Champ Splits With Husband

– Former WWE Superstar Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley) took to Twitter last night (Mon. October 9, 2017) to comment on The Shield reuniting. Ray claims that the crowd didn’t ‘go CRAZY for it’:

– It seems as though former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly (real name Barbie Blank) has split up with her husband, former NHL hockey star Sheldon Souray, per a report from US Magazine:

“They separated a couple months ago,” a source told US. “Barbie is already going on dates with other guys.”

Kelly didn’t reference the divorce directly, but subtly hinted at the split on Instagram with a few cryptic posts:

The pair were married in Cabo San Lucas on February 27, 2016. Their relationship was documented on the second season of the E! reality series, WAGS.

SAnitY Teases Match With The Shield

The big storyline over on Monday Night RAW is the reuniting of The Shield, and fans are hoping to see as many epic match-ups for the beloved trio as possible before they go their separate ways again. The Shield officially reunited on last night’s (Mon. October 9, 2017) Monday Night RAW, and current NXT Tag Tam Champions SAnitY (Eric Young, Killian Dain, Alexander Wolfe and Nikki Cross) seem to be interested in colliding with “The Hounds Of Justice.”

Wolfe took to Twitter to respond to The Shield’s segment on RAW in which they took out The Miz, Curtis Axel, and The Bar, teasing a possible match-up down the road:

The Shield Reunites (Video), Will Face The Miz & The Bar At TLC

Sierra. Hotel. India. Echo. Lima. Delta. The Shield is officially back.

Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose reunited on Monday’s RAW. The beloved trio crashed a segment with The Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro and delivered an epic beatdown that culminated in a triple powerbomb on The Miz and the three Shield members putting their fists together to make things official.

WWEShop is already selling a new Shield t-shirt, which you can check out here.

An interesting trivia note – The Shield made their made their WWE TV debuts back in 2012 at Survivor Series, which was held in Indianapolis, IN. Tonight’s RAW was also from Indy, taking things full circle.

Later in the show, RAW General Manager Kurt Angle was shown backstage talking to The Miz and told the IC champion that he and The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) will square off against The Shield in a Tables, Ladders and Chair match at TLC. It was announced later on RAW that Braun Strowman will be joining The Miz and The Bar against The Shield at TLC.

WWE TLC Poster Reveals Major Storyline Development

For the past several weeks WWE has been teasing the reunion of The Shield (Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose). While the group has yet to reunite officially, a promotional poster for the Tables Ladders and Chairs (TLC) pay-per-view (PPV) gives away the reunion.

It seems as though The Shield will be taking on The Miz, Sheamus, and Cesaro; while the only other match announced for the event is a RAW Women’s Championship match between Alexa Bliss and Mickie James.

TLC will go down live on the WWE Network from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Sunday, October 22nd.

The Shield Reunites At The End Of RAW, Possible Match At WWE TLC

Roman Reigns faced The Miz tonight on RAW for the Intercontinental Championship. Before the match even got started, Reigns attacked Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel. Reigns got his revenge on them for last week and beat them down with a steel chair on the entrance ramp. The Miz was then shown with a concerned look on his face as Roman marched towards the ring.

Reigns dominated The Miz during the match and connected with a Superman Punch. The Miz kicked out at two but Roman remained on the attack. Reigns was gearing up for the Spear but was attacked from behind by Sheamus and Cesaro. The Miz was then disqualified and retained his Intercontinental Championship.

Sheamus, Cesaro and The Miz then beatdown Reigns and planted him with a Powerbomb. The trio posed in the ring over Reigns and mocked The Shield by fist-bumping. Sheamus and Cesaro had already attacked both The Miz and Seth Rollins earlier on RAW.

Just before RAW went off the air, Reigns was shown backstage clutching at his ribs in pain. He was approached by Dean Ambrose and then Rollins followed shortly after. The Superstars didn’t say a word to each other, but instead simply nodded their heads. Sheamus and Cesaro will be guests on Miz TV next week.

It was originally thought that The Shield would reunite to face The Miz and The Miztourage. However, it looks like Sheamus and Cesaro have joined The Miz in the battle against The Shield. WWE TLC will air on October 22nd. It appears that we will see The Shield versus The Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro at the PPV but that has not been confirmed yet.

The Shield: WWE Reportedly Planning Big Spot At Upcoming PPV

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxJDJf_G5Eo

The Shield might be riding again in the near future, even if it’s just for a night.

With Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose currently positioned as babyfaces, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter says there’s been talk behind the scenes of doing a big spot involving all three former Shield members at an upcoming WWE PPV. Rollins and Reigns being on RAW and Dean Ambrose being on SmackDown means the Shield spot would take place at a joint-brand pay-per-view, such as Survivor Series or the Royal Rumble.

Aside from a few limited interactions, WWE has kept former Shield members – as a trio – apart or at odds since they broke up over two years ago. Back in June, The Shield briefly reunited on the Ambrose Asylum to promote Reigns’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship defense against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank. At the PPV, Ambrose won the Money in the Bank ladder match, Rollins defeated Reigns for the belt, Ambrose cashed in and defeated Rollins, leading all three former Shield members to hold the championship on the same night. WWE later pulled the trigger on the coveted Shield triple threat match at July’s Battleground PPV, but all 3 men being on the same page has been for the most part protected.

Back in April, Roman Reigns appeared on the Ring Rust Radio show and commented on a potential reunion of The Shield:

“I’ll always hold the Shield close to the heart. I think we can all say that’s the vehicle that got us out of the warehouse. We spent many hours in that hot, Tampa warehouse trying to get to this point. I definitely one day would want to do it but I don’t see it anytime soon. I think that’s what makes the Shield different is we all broke out and were able to maintain the level of success that we had within the group but now we are doing it as individuals. It’s really nice to be the quarterback out there. You don’t always have to worry and coordinate with everybody else. You just go out there, do your thing, beat some ass, and go home. I always enjoy that part of it. I think the Shield was so special that one day we will have to get it back together.”

Erick Rowan’s Return, Rumor Killer On Luke Harper Missing RAW

Erick Rowan was brought back to WWE television this week because the company had booked The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family as the main event for RAW on Monday night in Dallas, Texas.

That was the storyline that they wanted for the show, and while there were some reports that claimed there was a creative decision to replace Luke Harper on the show, that is not the case. Harper actually had a family issue so WWE was forced to replace him.

Rowan was already in the process of training for his WWE return. It was reported back in June that Rowan would be out of action for six months, so the fact that he returned after only four months from a torn biceps is considered an impressive accomplishment.

Luke Harper Talks About His “Dirty Shirts,” Wyatt Family’s Start In NXT & More

WWE Superstar Luke Harper recently spoke with the Chad Dukes Wrestling Show to promote this month’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view. Below are some of the highlights from the interview.

On The Wyatt Family matches with The Shield: “The first run or match with The Shield always stands out to me, our matches, our wars. The feeling was electric before we even touched and it was my family looking down the line and I’m looking across at three guys that were on top of the hill, the big dogs, and we knew they need to be knocked down. Since we had come to WWE, the Shield and the Wyatts were always on a path to meet, a path to see who was better, and if you look at the results the Wyatt Family actually came out of those quite well and will do it again in Summer Slam and for as long as the Shield boys want to keep doing it. ”

On The Wyatt Family starting in NXT: “Basically, the Wyatt Family laid the bricks that the NXT house is now built on.”

On if the tank-tops that he wrestles in are clean: “Obviously, I’m not a Neanderthal, I do do laundry, I am a human being. I can just not do laundry. That’s utterly ridiculous. I have several different shirts. I don’t know if that’s going to disappoint anybody out there, but I was I have a very rigorous warmup where I get a good sweat going before a match to prepare for battle. That is what people see, that is what people mistake for dirtiness.”

Backstage Update On A Possible Shield Return: Ambrose/Reigns Turning Heel?, More

It appears that the late decision to add Dean Ambrose to the WWE Payback pay-per-view main event, making it a match with all three members of The Shield involved, was done by design.

Cable TV ads that aired after this week’s RAW, where the angle was shot, still listed a regular triple-threat match between Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton, meaning the Ambrose decision was definitely a late decision.

What’s interesting about the change from a historical standpoint is the fact that WWE had been planning to hold off on having all three former Shield members in a high-profile title match at WrestleMania 32.

On a related note, there is speculation that in the fatal four-way match at Payback, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns may end up turning on Orton. The company is lacking in credible heels but they do have new up-and-coming babyface talents that they could be pushing.

If Ambrose and Reigns turn on Orton, that would leave Rollins. Whether or not that means Ambrose-Reigns-Rollins would become a trio again, referred to as The Shield again, or otherwise, remains to be seen.

WWE Teasing Sting vs. The Undertaker, Steve Austin & Ronda Rousey At WrestleMania 32

WrestleMania 32 is still a year away, but WWE is already teasing some huge matches for the event. WWE.com has published an “Editor’s Choice” feature, looking at 8 predictions for the show.

While these matches are just speculation at this point, if even half of these come to fruition, WrestleMania 32 is shaping up to be one of the biggest shows in WWE history.

“Everything’s bigger in Texas, including our predictions for WWE WrestleMania 32. One year before The Show of Shows descends upon the Lone Star State, we peer into our crystal ball to forecast what ?#?WrestleMania? moments might go down!”

  • ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin will compete in one more match
  • Ronda Rousey will compete inside a WWE ring
  • The former Shield members will battle in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
  • Mr. McMahon will battle Jerry Jones in Battle of the Billionaires 2
  • Sting vs. The Undertaker
  • An NXT Diva will defend the WWE Divas Championship
  • Kalisto will win The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
  • The Tag Team Championships will be defended in a one-night-only tournament

Roman Reigns Shares His Idea For The Perfect WrestleMania 32 Main Event

WWE has talked about the idea of doing a prominent triple-threat match between all three former members of The Shield on a big pay-per-view event, an idea that Roman Reigns feels would make for the perfect main event of next year’s WrestleMania.

While WWE is currently looking at Brock Lesnar potentially facing The Rock, The Undertaker or John Cena in the top match at WrestleMania 32, Reigns feels a three-way battle between all of the former Shield members is the way to go.

When speaking with The Sun out of the U.K. recently, Reigns was asked what he feels should be the main event at next year’s WrestleMania in Dallas, Texas.

“It should be a Triple Threat match,” said Reigns. “The Shield reunites to fight each other for one more night.”

Reigns was also asked about possibly facing The Rock in the headline match at WrestleMania, however he didn’t seem to think that is the way to go.

“Where I’m at right now, with our family ties, I don’t really see that happening,” said Reigns. “But if it did happen, it would be in WWE. Going out on a limb right now, I’d say most likely not, but this is WWE, anything can change.”

The Usos Talk Working With Cesaro & Tyson Kidd, Liking The Ascension & More

The Usos recently spoke with Mike Jones of DC 101 to promote this week’s WWE SmackDown television taping in Washington, D.C. Below are highlights from the interview.

On their Money In The Bank match with The Shield: “We went to the back and it was like OHHH! The Usos can go, they can really go. We were in there with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns and that’s what made everyone take notice.”

On being from a wrestling family: “If anything there’s more pressure on second and third generation Superstars because you have to deliver. You can’t go out there and just suck, and we almost did.”

“The path before us was already laid, and it was intimidating, because we have Yoko, Maga, my dad, Afa, and Sika.”

“As far as us, everybody knew who our family was but we had to find out who the Usos are. We have our own identity, we’re not just a number in our family.”

On liking The Ascension: “It’s always good when you have a tag team, when people see two guys come in and stick together, like me and my brother.”

“They’re together and they just have to find what works. They have the old school Legion of Doom feel and we’ll cross paths soon enough.”

On working With Tyson Kidd and Cesaro: “I feel like the matches we had with The Wyatts, we can put on a higher quality match with those two.”

“I know Cesaro and Kidd are two guys put together but these guys really compliment each other.”
