The Young Bucks Tease Challenging For WWE Tag Team Championships

Following their IWGP Heavyweight tag-team title defense at the Cow Palace Saturday, the Young Bucks spoke to the press. When asked what was left to accomplish in their careers, Matt Jackson gave a surprising answer.

“How cool would it be to win the WWE tag team championship belts and not even have to perform on their show?” Jackson asked, seemingly out of nowhere.

After Matt made the comment Nick asked his brother, “a little one off?”, to which Matt replied, “yeah, a little one off.”

The dropped ominous comment could just be the Young Bucks attempting to stir up controversy. This isn’t the first time the Bucks have hinted that they would like to face someone from WWE but not in a WWE ring, however.

The brothers have also hinted they would like to face the Revival at All-In.

The Young Bucks Versus The Revival At All-In?

During an appearance on X-Pac’s podcast in May, the Bucks had this to say regarding who they would like to face on the big September 1st event in Chicago.

“I’d love to have The Revival on the show and do The Young Bucks vs The Revival,” Matt Jackson said. “That’d be my match probably.”

Regarding their opponents from the G1 Special in San Francisco, Evil & Sanada, Matt Jackson had this to say. “Those guys are awesome, honest, I’d love to wrestle those guys every night,” Matt Jackson said before reconsidering. “Well, not really, I’d love to wrestle them once a year.”

Is it possible we see the Young Bucks take on a WWE tag team at All-In?

The Young Bucks React To WWE Following Them On Twitter

Yesterday (Fri. July 6, 2018) IWGP Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson, took part in the New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) G1 Special press conference and answered several questions.

One such question was about a possible move to WWE when their current deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) and Ring Of Honor (ROH) expires. The pair had signed a two-year deal back in 2016 which is coming up in November.

Matt Jackson answered the question and stated that he and Nick are going to do what’s best for their families at this point in their careers. They were then asked about WWE following them on Twitter last week.

Matt Jackson joked that he didn’t know what that was about but said “I have a really good Twitter account” before laughing. Nick then responded by saying that they followed the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) in response.

Discussion: Do you think The Young Bucks are WWE bound later this year?

Bullet Club Throw Joey Ryan A Funeral, Other “Being The Elite” Developments

In the Being the Elite universe, Joey Ryan is presumed dead. That Ryan has been wrestling regularly on the independent scene is not referenced on the show. The characters on Being the Elite believe Joey Ryan is missing and presumed dead, however. Stephen Amell had been considered a suspect.

Marty Scurll and Hangman Page ran into Joey Ryan’s hot-wife, Laura James, to start off the episode. James noted that Page looks an awful lot like Amell. Scurll and James then talked about how they would beat up Joey’s killer if he was there. This caused Page to storm off from the scene.

James then told Scurll that she is unable to make her late husband’s funeral and Scurll commented on how poorly Ryan’s funeral is going to draw.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2iNXTXWoVU&t=502s&frags=pl%2Cwn

Later in the show, it was revealed that actor, Stephen Amell, had been let out of prison due to insufficient evidence.

Matt Jackson confronted Page about having killed Ryan and Page responded by strangling him and storming off. Jackson then told his brother he believes Page is responsible for Ryan’s disappearance.

During the funeral, Flip Gordon noted that since Ryan was presumed dead there is an open spot on All-In.

Hangman Page showed up to the funeral at the very end despite Matt Jackson not inviting him. He said Joey Ryan taught him to never give up and to never quit. Page continued to say he believes Ryan would be proud that he became a famous dick-wrestler just like him. As Page is in the hallway collecting himself a mysterious voice tells him “I know you didn’t kill Joey Ryan, because I did.”

Other Developments Stemming From the Show

  • The Bucks released their Funko Pops at Hot Topic. They showed footage of them taking their kids to Hot Topic and buying some.
  • Matt Jackson also has a kids book coming out soon about anti-bullying. Pre-orders are available at Tasselson.com.
  • Most of the scenes were filmed while ROH was in Baltimore for Best in the World.
  • The members of SCU offered the Bucks and Flip Gordon some “gimmicks” from a pill bottle. This caused Scurll to pause the live action and give a Zack Morris-style narration promo. After un-freezing, the Bucks and Flip said they didn’t want any because they are drug-free. They would later show up to Joey Ryan’s funeral but only because Joey was from Southern California. It was the worst funeral they had ever been to.
  • Cody came out after this and confronted the Bucks about their attitudes leading into his second match with Kenny Omega. He said he’s aware the Bucks meant to kick him in the face at SuperCard of Honor.

AJ Styles Shuts Down Bullet Club Fan On Twitter

AJ Styles isn’t afraid of shutting someone down on Twitter. He did so just recently to a fan who bashed WWE’s potential signing of Bullet Club members.

AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson were in Tokyo recently as part of the Smackdown brand’s live events this weekend. WWE posted the following Tweet in reference to the Club’s Japanese roots.

WWE’s Club versus Bullet Club

Another fan posted a Tweet implying they would like to see Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks in WWE as well.

https://twitter.com/WWERDream/status/1013527985985646592

This led one Bullet Club fan to state they do not support the idea of more BC members signing with WWE.

https://twitter.com/iDontCare1830/status/1013562775652663297

“I know you’re not implying you’d like to see them all in the WWE,” the fan Tweeted. “Seriously? So they could be ruined and tarnished and have WWE’s corporate stench on them? They’re perfectly fine changing the wrestling world in NJPW, ROH and ALL_IN.”

The fan who AJ ultimately shut down is of the belief if the Bucks and Omega went to WWE, it would not be as entertaining as what they are doing now is. In the fan’s defense, this is a popularly held belief.

Styles saw the Tweet and addressed it directly.

“This is what you and some seem to forget….THIS IS A BUSINESS. We have bills and a family to take care of just like everyone else. Everything we put our body’s through on a weekly basis well not last forever. Work hard and earn it all.”

Would WWE misuse Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

WWE Follows The Young Bucks On Twitter, What Happened After RAW?

WWE Follows A Young Buck On Twitter

There have been plenty of rumors going around as to whether or not the WWE could sign The Young Bucks to a deal soon. The Bucks are currently enjoying success with Ring Of Honor (ROH) and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), as well as selling out their self-funded All In event with Cody Rhodes.

WWE’s Twitter page shows that they recently followed Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks, sparking some speculation from fans on social media. Here’s a screenshot of who WWE is following:

WWE

What Happened After RAW?

The dark match main event for Monday Night RAW last night was Elias vs. Jinder Mahal. Unfortunately the match never got to finish as both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns hit the ring and attacked both Elias and Mahal.

They celebrated with the crowd after clearing the ring to send them home happy and end the show.

Adam Cole On How Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks Would Fit In The Undisputed Era

WWE NXT North American Champion Adam Cole recently did an interview with Sports Illustrated to talk about several professional wrestling topics. Cole was first asked if he thinks Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks would be good additions to The Undisputed Era:

“Those guys would fit perfectly in the Undisputed Era. They’re exactly what the Undisputed Era is all about: cutting-edge, going against the grain, doing what they want when they want.

“Obviously, a lot of people know my history with Kenny Omega, and I have a very long history with the Young Bucks, and those guys would fit perfectly. It’s like two peas in a pod.”

Cole then discussed going back-and-forth on the NXT TakeOver: Chicago pre-show with panelist Pat McAfee:

“Pat McAfee is real quick on his feet and he’s real entertaining to listen to when he talks, but every time I speak to Pat, I make sure he knows that he’s in my world. This isn’t a football field, and I make sure he’s very aware of that every time we exchange words.

“Pat got a taste of that again on NXT TakeOver: Chicago’s pre-show panel. As long as Pat’s running his mouth the way that he does, I guarantee I’ll be there to back up every word that comes out of my mouth, as well.”

The North American champ seems confident in his ability inside the ring. So confident in fact that he believes he’s not just the best in NXT or in WWE, but the best in the world:

“I’m not just the best in NXT, I’m not just the best in the WWE, I’m the best on the freaking planet. Part of backing that statement up is competing outside of WWE, and the North American championship has given me the opportunity to do that.

“I can go to a company like EVOLVE and wrestle a talent as good, as big, and as strong as WALTER and defend my championship on a non-WWE show. That’s the epitome of making the North American title a world championship, one I can defend all over the world.”

Chris Jericho and The Young Bucks Reveal Team Name, Tease Partnering On Cruise

On the latest episode of “Being the Elite”, the Young Bucks and Chris Jericho teased forming a 3-person team. Jericho and the Jackson brothers toyed around with team names “The Bucks of Jericho”, “Y2Jacksons”, and even “The Bucks of Jericho or is it Y2Jacksons?”.

After much deliberation, Jericho says he is now ready to land on a team name.

The Bucks of Jericho

Also on a recent episode of “Being the Elite”, the three speculated as to under what promotion they would be able to team together. As they brought up on the show, they work for different companies: Bullet Club and Alpha Club. They then began to tease they would team together on Chris Jericho’s cruise this fall.

There has been some speculation that Jericho won’t be appearing in NJPW for some time. He has said he will not be at the Cow Palace show and others have said his winning the IWGP Intercontinental Championship might be a way for the promotion to put the title on ice. As with anything involving Chris Jericho, however, he’s only going to let out the information he is OK with people knowing. Jericho and NJPW are likely the only parties who know when he will be appearing for the promotion next.

The Golden Elite

Following the main event of NJPW Dominion over the weekend, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks reunited. The trio had been out of contact following the Bullet Club civil war this spring and Omega taking time off to prepare for his 4th bout with Okada. Omega chose to hug with the Bucks before he was even handed the IWGP Heavyweight Championship belt.

Omega, the Bucks, and Kota Ibushi then unveiled the four of them will be known by the name “the Golden Elite”. This development is most likely not going over well with Cody or some of the Bullet Club OG faction.

The Young Bucks Win Heavyweight Gold, Form New “Golden Elite” Faction

For the first time in their careers, Matt and Nick Jackson have won heavyweight tag-team gold in New Japan Pro Wrestling. The brothers defeated Evil and Sanada at NJPW Dominion in Osaka this morning.

The Bucks, along with Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Michael Elgin, and Hiromu Takahashi all became new champions this morning.

Omega, the Bucks, and Kota Ibushi are now referring to themselves as “the Golden Elite”.

https://twitter.com/MattJackson13/status/1005429405299007489

The new faction might not sit well with Cody. At Dominion last night, Cody teamed with Marty Scurll and Hangman Page to defeat Jushin Liger, Rey Mysterio Jr, and Hiroshi Tanahashi. So far, Cody has not commented on the Golden Elite.

The Young Bucks Championship Resume

The Young Bucks’ championship resume reads like no one else’s. The brothers first debuted for a major independent promotion in 2007 when they started with Pro Wrestling Guerilla. 6 years later the Bucks began wrestling with Bullet Club in NJPW and have been winning titles ever since.

Here is the Young Bucks’ championship history:

  • 7X IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions (most all-time)
  • 9 combined defenses of IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships (3rd all-time)
  • 706 combined days as IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions (2nd all-time)
  • 3x NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champions (2x with Kenny Omega and once with Marty Scurll)
  • Super Junior Tag Team Tournament Winners (2013)
  • 3x ROH World Tag Team Champions
  • 1x ROH 6-Man Tag Team Champions (with Hangman Page)
  • 4x PWG World Tag Team Champions
  • 3x Dynamite Duumvirate Tag Team Championship Tournament Winners (PWG)

In addition to being a decorated team in storyline, the Young Bucks have received numerous accolades from the wrestling media. Matt and Nick Jackson were named the tag-team of the year in 2017 by Pro Wrestling Illustrated. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has awarded them two 5* matches. The first was a 6-man tag from 2016 when they teamed with Adam Cole and faced Matt Sydal, Ricochet, and Will Ospreay. The 2nd 5* match in their history was against the Golden Lovers at Strong Style Evolved. They have also been awarded the tag-team of the year every year since 2014 by the newsletter.

The Young Bucks Reveal Their Contract Expiration Date, AJ Styles On MITB Match

AJ Styles On Money In The Bank Match

We had reported before how WWE was considering doing a Last Man Standing match between the current WWE Champion AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Nakamura confirmed this during the latest episode of SmackDown Live and after an assault on Styles, he revealed the stipulation for their upcoming bout to be the same as reported.

After this, AJ Styles took his twitter and commented on his upcoming match, saying that he has stood tall against every challenge and will do the same at Money In The Bank as well:

The Young Bucks Reveal Their Contract Expiration Date

While the Young Bucks are doing great on their own, there are a lot of fans who still wonder if we’ll see them in WWE somewhere down the line.

Recently a fan again reached out to the duo on Twitter, telling them to join the company as soon as possible. Replying to his comments, Nick Jackson revealed that they have 6 months left on their current contract:

Discussion: Would you be interested in seeing the Young Bucks joining WWE when their contract expires or do you think they should continue to build their brand in the indies? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section.

The Young Bucks Recall Almost Quitting Wrestling After Failed ROH Run

It’s pretty well known that the Young Bucks’ run with TNA back in 2011 failed miserably and the duo was in pretty bad financial condition when they ended their stint with the company.

During their recent appearance on Chris Jericho’s Talk Is Jericho podcast, the Bucks once again talked about that time and how the company was not using them.

Continuing on the topic, they also revealed how after leaving TNA their second run with Ring Of Honor failed as well.

According to Bucks, they had a contract with ROH but the company did not want to use them. The reason they were given was that their ‘west coast flight was too expensive every weekend’ hence Officials decided to let their contracts expire.

Later in the interview, Matt Jackson recalled how he was ready to quit the wrestling business after these events because he was about to have a child:

“I was ready to quit, I think, because I was having a kid and it wasn’t because, ‘oh, I fell out of love with wrestling’. I still loved wrestling. It was, ‘I’m having a child and I need money!'”

Thankfully the brothers decided to stick around and since then they have worked hard to reinvent themselves and build their brand.

The duo is now considered one of the most successful tag teams in the Indies and their story is certainly inspiring for all the independent wrestlers out there.

The Young Bucks Explain Why They Wouldn’t Sign With WWE Now

The Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson, recently joined Chris Jericho’s Talk Is Jericho podcast to talk about several professional wrestling topics. Matt Jackson revealed that when AJ Styles first departed to WWE, he wanted to bring The Young Bucks with him:

“We had just signed a contract with ROH at the time in November because AJ pulled us aside and was like, ‘tell me you guys don’t have any contracts now please,’ and we were like, ‘we just signed.’ And he was like, ‘argh!’ because he wanted to bring us over too. And I don’t know if that would’ve happened, but that was his idea. And we were like, ‘naw, man. We just signed for two years’ or whatever it was.”

“It would be kind of dumb of us because they couldn’t pay us what we’re making right now.”

Matt then explained why they wouldn’t go to WWE right now, as it would be a “dumb” decision to do so:

“If we left right now [for WWE], it would be kind of dumb of us because they couldn’t pay us what we’re making right now, not with the schedule we’re on too. There’s no way.” Matt clarified, “of course they could [afford the pay]! Do you know what I mean? I just don’t think they would!”

He also discussed if he and his brother would ever sign with WWE, and while he admits it will always be a big question in their careers, they won’t have any regrets if their careers ended tomorrow:

“It’s always going to be a question. No matter how big we get, it will always be a question that lingers on in our career, I think, as well as Kenny because the three of us, well, he went to [WWE] developmental for a little bit, but people don’t remember that. I don’t even know if that counts as a WWE run, but it will always be a question.

“The way we’re going, we could probably quit in five years.” Nick said, “at this point, [WWE]’s not a goal. We don’t need it. It was [a goal] for sure. For our first eight years, that was the goal.

“We could literally quit tomorrow and do something else. And we would be fine though because we have enough saved now at this point. Like, we’re in a good spot!” Matt reflected, “we’ve built this empire, man, The Young Bucks brand. What else could I want? That would be literally the last missing piece, going there and doing a run.”

Why ‘All In’ Has Created a Seismic Shift in Pro Wrestling

William Bernbach, one of the greatest minds in advertising stated that “advertising is fundamentally persuasion and persuasion happens to be not a science, but an art.”

When looking at the headline that the Cody Rhodes/Young Bucks financed show ‘All In’ had sold out in a staggering 30 minutes, I realized that the art form of professional wrestling was evolving at a rate that is quite frankly unprecedented. The talent involved isn’t just breaking boundaries inside the ring, they’re adopting a truly DIY ethic to show that a self-produced event without the help of the top ‘mainstream’ promotions can sell out a 10,000 seat arena. In 30 minutes. How can you not consider Cody and the Bucks artists?

If you were to ask a wrestling fan in May of 2017 whether this show would sell out so quickly they would likely laugh you out of the room. Yes, the show has been built on the strength of stars such as IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada, Kenny Omega, Marty Scurll, Rey Mysterio, Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks. One line of skepticism surrounding their chances was that they’d need CM Punk and/or Daniel Bryan to sell 10,000 tickets. Cue Ron Howard narration, “They didn’t.”

Curiously, CM Punk will be in Chicago during All In weekend for a signing at Pro Wrestling Tees – the Bullet Club affiliated retail store that just so happened to host the All In press conference this past Sunday. The prospect of Punk being involved at All In is exciting, but the hook of Punk’s involvement wasn’t necessary to sell out the Sears Centre.

In the headline I described ‘All In’ as having created a seismic shift in professional wrestling and it cannot be denied that this (currently) one-off special event has already blown away some of the biggest established independent companies in that market historically. Take into account that ECW peaked at around 6,000 fans at a time when wrestling was in the mainstream consciousness and at the highest peak on interest in history, WAY WAY above where we find ourselves in 2018. For a more modern comparison you can look at TNA and their reported 7,200 sales for the Lockdown event in 2013 which had confirmed feuds, storylines and an already well established fanbase to draw from…that’s nearly 33% less than ‘All In.’

When you also consider the fact that there was no major television exposure, there was no paid advertising in the local area AND not one major match has even been announced outside of Cody challenging for the NWA Title? Seismic might not even be the word…this is unprecedented in the history of professional wrestling, Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks have changed the landscape and for the better.

Here’s to All In 2: Electric Boogaloo.

The Young Bucks Reveal Who From WWE They’d Like On “All In”

Ring Of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling stars The Young Bucks recently appeared on Sean Waltman’s X-Pac 1,2,360 podcast to discuss their upcoming “All In” event. During the show, The Young Bucks discussed not only selling out a wrestling show will “All In,” but also selling out a party.

All In: Wrestling Show Party

Nick: “We have such passionate fans and we wanted to give back to our fans in a way, to make something special for one night.”

Matt: “It’s been very strategic too, how we were going to roll out the whole plan… We knew that we couldn’t just sell a wrestling event. You have to sell more than a wrestling event, you have to sell a feeling, you have to sell a movement. To make them {Fans} feel something like ‘hey this is for you’.

“Because right now is the best professional wrestling that there has ever been. Everybody can work, some of the best matches you’ll ever see… You’ve got to give the people something more than that you know what I mean? And I feel like they agreed with it, they felt it. They wanted to be apart of it. This movement, this change, you know? We wanted to show them, hey this is something new, fresh, and organic.

“It’s an alternative and it may be only celebrated one-time so let’s party. And that’s what we’re selling we’re selling a party and everyone wants to party with us and we’re glad they’re on board.”

Paul Heyman Congratulating Them

Advocate for WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman, recently Tweeted out and praised Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks for selling out the Sears Centre in Chicago for their self-funded event. Nick and Matt were blown away by the sentiment:

Nick: “Almost everyone I’ve looked up to has reached out in a way. That blows my mind because it’s so cool to see some of the guys I grew up praising, praising us now its’ so weird.”

Matt: “For me, I think the Heyman one was really big because it feels like what he did with ECW was kind of a revolutionary new style of wrestling and he changed the wrestling business forever you know what I mean.

“And for him to say that about us I feel like he’s one of the greatest promoters of all time and that’s what we essentially are now… So just to hear from a guy who always has his finger on the pulse of what’s cool in wrestling to give it up to us like that when he didn’t have to was really really cool of him.”

Which WWE Talent They’d Like To Use At All In

The Young Bucks also listed off some WWE names that they wish could be involved in the event if they weren’t under contract with the professional wrestling juggernaut:

Nick: “Oh man that’s a hard one. I’d have to use at least a few AJ Styles and Kevin [Owens}, the first two as well as a Sami Zayn. I’d like to use a lot of the guys though.”

Matt: “Man, Nick kinda stole my answers but I feel like giving a team who hasn’t really got called up, haven’t really had a fair shake, I’d love to have The Revival on the show and do The Young Bucks vs The Revival. That’d be my match probably.”

Cody Announces Plans To Run For Texas State Senate in 2020

Former Ring of Honor World Champion, Cody, has announced plans to run for the Texas State in 2020. The announcement was made on the season premiere of “Being the Elite” released last night.

Cody recited a speech from a Harry Potter movie into a mirror as if it was a political address and then handed Page a tablet with a “Cody for Texas State Senate 2020” logo.

Being the Elite Season Premiere

The Young Bucks had previously teased they were finished with Being the Elite following SuperCard of Honor. After a couple weeks hiatus, however, two mini-episodes were released. On last night’s show, Flip Gordon was able to convince the Bucks to bring the show back by pointing out their dwindling merchandise sales.

The first episode of the new season titled “Premier” featured updates on several other characters as well.

Hangman Page ran into Lanny Poffo backstage at an ROH show. Poffo was there to participate in an in-ring segment with Jay Lethal. Page confirmed with Poffo that a long-held rumor about him is indeed true but not the one he was thinking about. On his way out of Poffo’s locker room, Page accidentally hit Jay Lethal in the head while opening the door, knocking him out. When Lethal came to and saw Poffo, he reverted to his old Black Machismo character from TNA.

Last season on the show, Scurll signed a recording contract and announced he was leaving the Elite. A clip was shown in yesterday’s episode showing Scurll getting fired from the record company for just re-hashing old Backstreet Boys songs.

As for Kenny Omega, he was shown receiving a package marked “urgent” from the Young Bucks. The show would end before he opened it, however.

Tickets for All-In go on sale May 13th, 2018. The show takes place September 1st, 2018 from the Sears Center Arena in Chicago.

The Young Bucks Say Farewell To Reseda

The Young Bucks have made public tributes and said their farewells to one of the most beloved venues in independent wrestling and PWG’s longtime home; American Legion Hall/Post #308 in Reseda, CA.

Due to a ticketing error PWG’s last event Time Is A Flat Circle was moved to the Globe Theater in Los Angeles, California. That error appeared to be a signal that the independent company was planning on moving home at some point in the near future.

The Young Bucks’ time as part of PWG and their performances in the Legion Hall have become the stuff of legend, as such they made it a personal goal to at least perform on one of the final dates in the venue:

The Young Bucks Ending “Being the Elite”?

Last week, Bullet Club’s “the Elite” released the 100th episode of their YouTube series, “Being the Elite”. Although they had previously been releasing episodes on Monday nights, no episode was released this week. As the last episode was named “Finale”, there is speculation the popular series is done.

Matt and Nick Jackson recently spoke with the Sporting News about the future of the series. They recorded the interview backstage at ROH’s TV tapings in Pittsburgh on Saturday.

“I think it’s poetic if we did end it at 100 episodes,” Nick Jackson told the Sporting News, “but everyone else says we shouldn’t.”

“We’re like, man, 100 episodes, we can end it when it’s the hottest,” Matt Jackson added. “It almost feels like we should end it.”

“On the other hand, it’s kind of undecided, but I feel like we’d be crazy not to bring it back at some point. It’s become such a popular tool for us now.”

Being the Elite: 100 Episodes

The series has been widely successful and provides a platform for members of the faction to tell stories. Much of what has been built up in terms of the Bullet Club 2018 Civil War has taken place on “Being the Elite”.

“We had a guy at the airport on our way here stop me, and he puts his hand out and says, ‘I love your YouTube videos,’” Matt Jackson added. “He didn’t mention anything about pro wrestling.”

Originally, the series was just meant to follow the Young Bucks around as they travelled to shows.

“We did that for like six months,” Nick Jackson said. “Then Matt had the idea of adding stories to the mix. … People started to love it and it grew a lot faster. I think we found our calling.

“It started with me getting sick in real life. We knew Adam [Cole] was leaving the Bullet Club, so Matt said, ‘Why don’t we say Adam poisoned you?’ I said, ‘That’s a brilliant idea. Let’s try it.’ The fans loved it. From there we just went nuts.”

The last episode of Being the Elite ended with Cody finding himself alone in the Elite locker room. While he had defeated Kenny Omega, Cody was left to ponder all that he had lost along the way.

The Young Bucks Want Match With The Usos, Carmella Issues Warning To Charlotte (Video)

– Ring Of Honor (ROH) and New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) stars The Young Bucks – Nick and Matt Jackson – noted on Twitter that they want to have a match with SmackDown Live Tag Team Champions The Usos. Nick Jackson actually revealed that they faced The Usos in an impromptu match 7-8 years ago, which The Usos won:

– WWE recently noted that Ms. Money In The Bank Carmella has held her briefcase for 277 days. At a recent live event, Carmella cut a promo on SmackDown Live Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair telling her to watch her back.

Cody Offers “Apology” to The Young Bucks Following Strong Style Evolved

Cody has acknowledged his actions at NJPW Strong Style Evolved.

In the main event of the AXS TV live special, The Young Bucks competed against the Golden Lovers in a tag team dream match. The contest lived up to the hype and at the end of it, it was Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi who picked up the win. Drama ensued after the match was over.

Cody ran down to the ring and got in Matt Jackson’s face for eating the pin. Nick Jackson tried to calm Cody down, but was shoved to the mat for his efforts. Cody took off his blazer and looked ready to attack his “friends” when the Golden Lovers returned to the ring to make the save.

Cody took to Twitter to issue an “apology:”

“It is with a heavy heart and the hope that this will be read by open minds, that I release this statement.

Nick Jackson is my friend. At the climax of last night’s “Strong Style Evolved” it appeared that I deliberately, and with malice, shoved him to the mat. That was 100% not the case.

After having just witnessed one of the most unbelievable matches of my generation, I became frustrated as I (like many others in attendance and watching at home) was hoping for a different result. My frustration was my undoing. In a misguided attempt to motivate Matt Jackson, I became so unaware of my surroundings…I assumed it was Kenny Omega who grabbed me by the arm and instinctually I shoved him backwards outta’ self defense. Imagine my horror upon seeing that it was my best friend Nick.

This is the truth.

A truth I hope the fans and my peers can respect and understand. Regardless, I formally apologize to Nick, Matt, and the entire Massie family.

Thank you.”

Young Bucks Offer To Face The Bar At WrestleMania, How Much Vince McMahon Is Worth

– On this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW The Bar retained their RAW Tag Team Titles against The Revival. Sheamus and Cesaro currently have no challengers for their titles at WrestleMania 34. “The Celtic Warrior” sent out an open challenge to all tag teams via Twitter to challenge them at “The Show Of Shows”:

PWInsider reports that The Bar’s challengers at WrestleMania 34 are “not currently a team.”  The Young Bucks took to Twitter to declare their interest in possibly answering the call in New Orleans:

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter was asked about this possibility. He didn’t seem very optimistic:

“Anything is possible, but realistically that’s close to impossible.”

– Forbes’ 2018 Billionaire List reports that WWE’s Vince McMahon is ranked number 1,394 with a net worth of $1.7 billion.
