TJ Perkins is the new WWE RAW Cruiserweight Champion and the winner of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic.
Perkins defeated Gran Metalik in the finals of tonight’s live finale from Full Sail. He defeated Kota Ibushi earlier in the night while Metalik defeated Zack Sabre, Jr.
Perkins now heads to Monday’s RAW in Memphis with the title to kick off the new cruiserweight division.

– John Cena confirmed on Twitter that he will miss the first SmackDown exclusive PPV this Sunday, Backlash. Cena will be working the international tour instead. He tweeted:

– In Nielsen’s nightly Twitter TV ratings for series & specials, this week’s WWE RAW had 144,000 tweets with 32,000 unique authors. The show ranked #3 for the night, behind Love & Hip-Hop and VH1 Hip Hop Honors.
– Bin Wang has arrived in America and is now working at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. WWE posted this new video of their first Chinese signee at the PC with Matt Bloom and others.
– Former TNA star TJ “Manik” Perkins is featured in this new WWE video to discuss the Cruiserweight Classic. Perkins talks about wanting to be someone Filipino fans can look up to and talks about his journey to the CWC but does not reference TNA.
– TJ “Manik” Perkins has signed a contract extension with TNA.
