-The Team 3D Academy event featuring Hulk Hogan and other TNA stars takes place tonight in Melbourne, Florida. The event was organized by Devon and will emanate from the Melbourne Auditorium where the proceeds will go to benefit the “Hope For A Single Mom” charity. Some of the TNA talent scheduled to appear include Samoa Joe, the Aces & Eights, Jay Lethal, Sam Shaw and more.
-The TNA No Surrender edition of Impact Wrestling on Spike TV this past Thursday night scored a final cable rating of 1.08, according to Nielsen Media Research. The 1.08 final number is a slight increase from last week’s 1.07 final draw. It was the highest rated show since the Destination X edition of Impact Wrestling back in July.

TNA Impact Wrestling star Hulk Hogan was recently interviewed by CBS Sports 920 in St. Louis to promote tonight’s live TNA No Surrender edition of Impact Wrestling on Spike TV.
In the interview, Hogan spoke about Brooke Hogan’s TNA departure for the first time. Hogan noted that she is getting married and “switched gears quickly on us,” implying that it was actually Brooke’s decision to leave the company.

TNA Impact Wrestling will be running a local food drive in St. Louis for free tickets to the live No Surrender edition of Impact Wrestling this Thursday on Spike TV. The food drive will benefit the St. Louis Food Bank. If you live in the St. Louis area, and are interested in free tickets to No Surrender, or simply want to help out, bring five non-perishable food items to Slumberland Furniture at 4265 Rusty Road in St. Louis and you will receive a free ticket to the show.

-As seen on the TNA Hardcore Justice edition of Impact Wrestling on Spike TV on Thursday night, TNA President Dixie Carter addressed the Kurt Angle situation live in the ring before the fans in Norfolk, Virginia. Carter came to the ring, and simply explained the situation as a shoot, informing fans that Kurt Angle was currently in rehab and would not be able to participate in the Main Event Mafia vs. Aces & 8’s five-on-five match as advertised. She noted that the match would be pushed until next week’s edition of Impact Wrestling, leaving the Main Event Mafia a week to find a suitable replacement. She also talked about how Angle had the full support of herself and the rest of the TNA Impact Wrestling company. Additionally, Carter said there is no specific timetable in terms of a television return for Angle.
-TNA announced the next Impact Wrestling special, which will be a “No Surrender” themed edition of the show. The TNA No Surrender edition of Impact Wrestling is scheduled to take place on Thursday, September 12th and will feature the Final Four of the Bound For Glory Series tournament to determine who will challenge for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at the Bound For Glory pay-per-view in October.
