Val Venis Lashes Out: Alleges The Rock and John Cena Sold Their Souls

There are many controversial figures in pro wrestling, but few utilize their social media platform like Val Venis to spread his own message, albeit a very radical one. He is far from finished spouting his own version of the truth on Twitter/X, even though his account is certainly shadow-banned at this point.

    Val Venis’ Social Media History

Val Venis has not been quiet on his Twitter/X account when it comes to his beliefs. He made a bold statement that he isn’t returning to pro wrestling because of the “LGBTQ+++XYZ Nutjobs.” That is just scratching the surface, as his account is constantly pouring out political posts.

In the past, Venis has called out The Rock for selling his soul. Now, he’s adding John Cena and Cody Rhodes as his target.

Venis Takes Aim At Cody Rhodes, John Cena and The Rock

In recent memory, he has taken some serious shots at Cody Rhodes and his alliance with the LGBTQ+ community. The Big Valbowski previously said that, “HEY @CodyRhodes! Maybe think before you “affirm” would be a better idea. Promote Jesus. Not mental disorders.”

There were many posts directed at Cody Rhodes from Val Venis. One even lumped John Cena and The Rock with him, as the former IC Champion claimed that they sold their souls to the devil.

FACT: Both @JohnCena and @TheRock sold their souls to the same cartel of communist comrades that stole the brains out of the heads of @CodyRhodes fans.

For the record, Val also posted, “Ha! I am a retired free agent. I can say what I want, when I want and how I want. It would be prudent for leftist mental midgets to hit the unfollow button if they wish not to be triggered by truth.” So, it seems that he’s not going to sweat any negative backlash he receives.

Val Venis Claims He’s Being Erased

Val Venis recently made headlines when he called out WWE 2k24 for erasing him from history. He’s not the only one who got the axe, because Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon were also taken out of the game.

We will have to see if Venis re-appears in WWE any time soon, but it’s not likely at this point. He also doesn’t need pro wrestling to pay the bills. He made it very clear that he has a stable living in the cannabis industry.

  • Val Venis Claims He’s Being Erased From History After WWE 2K24 Snub

Val Venis Claims He’s Being Erased From History After WWE 2K24 Snub

WWE fans are excited about the company’s next video game offering. Game play footage is now out, and the playable roster is being revealed. They didn’t have room for everyone, though.

Val Venis Speaks Out About WWE 2K24

WWE 2k24 is rolling out more information, but one former Superstar hasn’t seen his face. Although Val Venis’ porn star gimmick went over in the Attitude Era, it would need to be greatly toned down today. It appears that Venis is too hot for WWE 2K24 as well. Or, perhaps they are omitting him for an entirely different reason.

While logging onto Twitter/X, Val Venis sent out his disapproval of the new 2K video game. He stated that he is not in the game, and then he threw out the idea that WWE may be trying to erase him from history.

So the Val Venis character is not in WWE 2K24? I could be wrong, but it appears my body of work is being completely erased from the WWE????

    Val Venis’ Conspiracy Theories

In case you are wondering, there are plenty of reasons that WWE may want to erase Val Venis from the company’s history. Most of those reasons can be traced back to his very shadow-banned Twitter/X account.

In the past, Venis has called out The Rock for selling his soul. He has also made a terrible conspiracy theory filled claim about Bray Wyatt’s passing, as well as Triple H and Keith Lee’s cardiac issues. Needless to say, the company has their reasons for nixing the Big Valbowski from 2K24.

He also made it clear that he’s not taking any more pro wrestling bookings due to “LGBTQ+++XYZ Nutjobs.” Needless to say, he’s very controversial.

In case you’re wondering, Val Venis doesn’t need pro wrestling to make a living anymore. He claims to be doing very well in the cannabis industry, as he has always been an advocate to end marijuana prohibition.

    WWE 2K24 Nixing Controversial Figures

It was previously noted that 2k is removing certain people late in the game, no pun intended. Efforts are underway to nix Vince McMahon from the upcoming game, although that might prove difficult.

Brock Lesnar is also being erased from the WWE 2K24 game. His image was removed from the Forty Years of WrestleMania cover art this morning. He was also not included in any footage from the gameplay footage that dropped, either.

  • Val Venis Discusses Gimmick Origins

    Val Venis Discusses Gimmick Origins

Val Venis has divulged the origin of his initial gimmick when he first debuted for WWE in 1998.

Speaking with Andy Malnoske from Wrestling Inc., Venis revealed that, unsurprisingly, it was Vince McMahon who came up with the idea.

“I think it was successful because it was clearly something that was new, innovative, envelope-pushing, it was controversial,” he said.

“Vince McMahon came up with the name ‘Val Venis’ and the general idea of the character,” he admitted. “Of course, the towel, the ‘hello, ladies,’ and the jokes, they all came about as we were developing the character after producing a couple of vignettes that would introduce the character. It was in development from day one and continued to evolve. It took a long time to really develop into the towel-wearing, ‘hello ladies’ character that ultimately it blew up into.”

During his time with the company, Venis would become a two-time Intercontinental champion, a European champion, and a Tag Team champion with then-partner, Lance Storm.

After his initial gimmick, Venis would eventually shift into a new role, joining the Right To Censor and introducing a major change to his character. Val would continue wrestling for the company under different gimmicks until his release in 2009.

  • X-Pac Reveals Which Superstar Was Denied Entry Into DX

X-Pac Reveals Which Superstar Was Denied Entry Into DX

Former WWE Superstar and D-Generation X member Sean “X-Pac” Waltman did an interview with Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard to talk about a number of professional wrestling topics. Here are some highlights:

If he’s a fan of The Bullet Club:

“I’m a big Bullet Club fan. I’m flattered that they were inspired by us. They took our recipe, like the Young Bucks and the ‘Too Sweet’ sign, but they’re also distinctively Bullet Club. Even though they are adding on in numbers, they have remained fairly discriminatory in who they add. Marty Scurll is fantastic and I am a big fan of his work. They’re not just throwing a Bullet Club shirt on a guy to get him over, and that’s smart. They need to listen to their gut and not back down.”

How former WWE writer Vince Russo pitched Val Venis to join DX:

“Russo wanted to put Val Venis in DX, but we said no. We stuck to our guns because he wasn’t right for DX. So, for Bullet Club, if New Japan or Ring of Honor wants Bullet Club to do something they don’t want to do, Bullet Club needs to remember this is their creation and their baby. Stick to your guns. If you feel like someone is not right, then don’t let it be done.”

Scott Hall’s influence on his career:

“I’m very grateful for Scott Hall’s willingness to take me under his wing and help me. That’s when our chemistry started. Scott already had me in mind when Vince McMahon ran the idea by him. Scott had seen me on ESPN with the Global Wrestling Federation. Scott was like Curt Hennig in the sense that he’d take the younger guys under his wing and try to teach them. People like to talk about Scott’s selfishness, but he did a lot of selfless work in wrestling that isn’t talked about. Scott was very guarded about his knowledge. He didn’t share it with everyone.”

  • Val Venis Calls Out Ryback & Cameron, WWE Looks At Stars Who Lost Their Debut Match

    – Fans gave this week’s SmackDown a 63% “Thumbs Up” this week, according to a WWE Twitter poll.

    – Former WWE Superstar Val Venis strongly disagrees with Ryback’s Tumblr post from earlier this week, where he detailed his ongoing contract dispute with the company. Ryback argued that WWE’s pay scale favors performers who are booked to win their matches and look good on television, while people like him who lose a lot of their matches work just as hard and should be paid the same as the ‘winners.’  Cameron tweeted support to Ryback and she wound up in Val’s crosshairs as well.

Val considers them both simpletons and equates Ryback’s position to socialism – categorizing them as Bernie Sanders supporters.

    – WWE posted a video hosted by Corey Graves looking at some of the top Superstars who lost their debut matches in WWE, including Sting, John Cena and Daniel Bryan. Check it out, there’s some surprising names on there.

  • Val Venis Talks Cannabis, WWE Wellness Program, & More

Sean Morley, best known for his WWE run as Val Venis, was the latest guest on the increasingly prolific Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling podcast. In the last few years, Morley has become an advocate for the legalization of cannabis, even taking up the alter ego of “Kaptain Kannabis,” so that was one of many topics covered in the interview. Here are some highlights of what he said about:

Using Medical Marijuana In Light Of his Friends Dying From Pain Meds:

“I was still taking pharmaceutical drugs and was always on pain pills and every time I got injured, whether it was my elbows, my neck, my shoulder I would always go back to what the doctor would prescribe me and that was anti inflammatories and still my friends were dying from it. As time went on I started to notice that we have been lied to about this plan and my friends are dying left, right and center from big pharmaceutical pills and I think the straw that broke the camel’s back was when one of my best friends, Andrew “Test” Martin passed away from pharmaceutical pain meds.

That’s when I said okay enough is enough and that’s when I really took a stand, came off the pills and I didn’t have to go to rehab. My body was addicted to the pills and did have to go through two weeks of horrible withdrawals. But the second week of those withdrawals I started utilizing marijuana on the advice of a friend. It didn’t get rid of the sickness of the withdrawals  but what it did was make the withdraws bearable. It made it easy to just wait out the withdrawals and when I came out on the other end I never looked back and that was in 2008.”

How WWE’s Talent Wellness Program Handles Marijuana vs. Prescription Narcotic Painkillers:

“To me it’s not a stringent Wellness Policy at all. I could drive a Mack Truck through their Wellness Policy. The reality of the situation is I was on those pills and I was testing positive for those pills yet I passed my drug test every single time. The reason I passed my drug test every single time was because as soon as I’d test positive for Hydrocodone, Dr. Black from [Aegis Sciences] who is the main Doctor at the testing facility would call me up and ask for a valid prescription for Hydrocodone pills. I would send him a valid prescription and two weeks later I would get a letter in the mail saying CONGRATULATIONS you passed your wellness exam.

The fact that you have a valid prescription for these pills doesn’t change the fact that people get addicted to them and die. Test had a prescription for them. Almost every wrestler has had a prescription for them. They don’t test for it, they say they test for the quantity of hydrocodone in your system. That’s bullsh*t, they don’t test for the quantity they test for the presence. Even though you may have a prescription for 90 (pills) you may have 1000 sitting in your house right now. The testing policy is a step in the right direction, but still we are allowing WWE talent to utilize Heroin in a pill, yet we will fine them $2,500 every time they test positive for THC.”

Why WWE Fines Talent For Using Marijuana:

“What they tell me is that they have to fine guys for pot because they are a corporation and they have to follow federal law. But what their actions are telling me is that WWE thinks it’s more important to follow federal law than the health and well being of it’s talent and that is a sad situation. Is it WWE’s fault? Probably not. I think the federal government has a huge hand in this. The federal government has to take a step forward and change the policy in regards to cannabis prohibition.

However, that being said, WWE is like the NFL and who is starting to explore the usage of marijuana as medical for the NFL players and I was hoping that WWE would stand up and take the lead on that. It’s WWE that’s lost more talent with these pills and it’s one of those things that WWE could easily stand up and say we understand cannabis is against Federal Law, however we’ve lost a lot of athletes to these big pharmaceutical drugs and if athletes want to use cannabis we are not going to punish them for it.”

  • Val Venis Running A Marijuana Dispensary In Arizona

    https://youtu.be/8taD_ZRIKCI

Former WWE Superstar Val Venis (Sean Morley) is now running a marijuana dispensary in Mesa, Arizona called Health 4 Life Dispensaries.

Now going by the name Kaptain Kannabis,  Morley has been a longtime proponent of medical marijuana and claims it saved his life by helping him get off pain pills and other pharmaceutical drugs. During an interview with High Times magazine earlier this year, he explained,

“When I found out about marijuana and started utilizing that instead, in 2008, I came off all pharmaceuticals and never looked back,” he said. “I could smoke marijuana and eat marijuana for the rest of my life and never suffer any liver disease or kidney failure due to pills. The pills will get you every single time, with marijuana, you could be 110-years old and still smoke it. There is so much cannabis can do. I don’t think people have any reason to fear it at all.”

  • Val Venis Says Medical Marijuana Saved His Life, Shares Owen Hart Stories

Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Val Venis recently spoke with Inquisitr about his use of medical marijuana, as well as the late Owen Hart. Below are some highlights from the interview.

On medical marijuana saving his life: “It’s actually saved my life. I had six pins put in my shoulder, can’t get my elbows straight anymore, they’re always hurting. Doctors had me on anti-inflammatory’s and pain pills for years and you can’t take those things for the rest of your life without suffering serious consequences. And when I found out about marijuana and started utilizing that instead, in 2008, I came off all pharmaceuticals and never looked back,” said Venis. “I could smoke marijuana and eat marijuana for the rest of my life and never suffer any liver disease or kidney failure due to pills. The pills will get you every single time, with marijuana, you could be 110-years-old and still smoke it.”

On fellow Canadian Owen Hart: “There was one time when we watched Owen, he had a driver and he was in the passenger seat and Jeff Jarrett was in the backseat behind Owen. And as they are going up the ramp to drive out from the bottom of the arena, all you hear on the top of the roof of the car is ‘whack!’ And Owen looks over to the driver, he says ‘that guy up there just threw a rock down on your car.’ So, the guy stops the car on the ramp, gets out of the car, runs up the ramp, runs around the rail and charges at the guy Owen pointed at. Well, a cop steps out in front of the driver and says ‘whoa, this guy didn’t throw any rock, the guy with the blonde hair in the car hit the roof of your car with his hand. And when the driver looks over the rail to look at Owen, Owen turns around and says ‘Jeff, why did you hit the top of the car?’ and put all the heat on Jeff.”

  • Melina Responds To ‘Hateful People’, Val Venis Continues Insults

Melina posted the following message yesterday on her Twitter account in response to the negativity she has been engulfed with as of late.

“In Dublin. Such a beautiful day. Listening to TI-Live Your Life. There are hateful people trying to hurt others to make themselves feel better.

“People… Just live your life. Enjoy today peeps and love the people who are there for you to the fullest.”

Meanwhile, former WWE star Val Venis, who posted an inflammatory video directed towards Melina and boyfriend John Morrison earlier this week, has continued to besmirch the “Sexy, Smart and Powerful” WWE Diva. He posted the following on Twitter in response to a message New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Karl Anderson wrote about flying first class:

“If Melina is on your flight, I am sure u could easily become a member of the mile high club.”

  • Former WWE Star Val Venis Blasts John Morrison & Melina

Trish Stratus confirmed last Friday via radio interview that she was snubbed by John Morrison at WrestleMania. He wasn’t interested in listening to her suggestions for their bout, and that when she went to hug him during the post-match celebration, he gave her the cold shoulder. The assumption backstage is that Melina was in his ear because she believed Stratus was taking “her spot” at the pay-per-view event.

Former WWE talent Sean Morley (a/k/a Val Venis) is furious over their alleged treatment of Stratus, who he considers a friend. He posted a video online blasting the real-life couple, while also defending Stratus. His remarks are as follows:

“I’ve always been really nice to Johnny and Melina. I’ve always been really nice to them. I don’t respect Johnny at all. And, you know, there are several reasons for that. And now, after snubbing Trish for supposedly taking Melina’s spot at WrestleMania. You know what? Screw it. The reality of the situation is Melina, it’s not your spot! It’s Vince McMahon’s spot and he’s going to put in that spot whoever will be doing the best for the company and it’s ain’t you, ah-ah! It’s Trish! You think you’re on the same level as Trish, Melina? Come on! All that respect I might have had for you, which honestly was just a little bit, is completely thrown out the freakin’ window now!

“The reality is, your boyfriend Morrison is nothing but a chump ass bitch who has zero nuts! Zero nuts! What is it? First it’s Mike Knox, then it’s Batista? And the whole time Morrison goes on like, “It’s not really happening. It’s just, she doesn’t really cheat on me.” You’re a freakin’ ho Melina! You know what, I’m not even going to say freakin’ anymore, you’re a fucking slut, period! And Morrison you wanna go out there, and Melina, and snub, my t-dot girl Trish? Come on!

“Melina, you’re not the same level as Trish. If you want that spot so much, why instead of taking it out on Trish and saying, “uhhh she took my spot,” why don’t you think, “Hmmm… Vince chose Trish for that spot. How can I better improve my charisma, my in-ring ability, my marketability. So that the next time Vince decides to choose someone for a certain spot, you’ll choose me.” It’s called competition. It’s called free market competition Melina. But no, you can’t handle that. You think you’re owed that spot, you ain’t owed nothing!

“And then Morrison, you’re going to walk around like Batista didn’t tag your girl? You’re going to walk around like Mike Knox didn’t tag your girl? By the way, how does Mike Knox taste? How does Batista taste? How does, God knows how many other guys she’s banged right under your nose. In fact, it wasn’t even under your nose! You just pretend it was under your nose! You know the whole time it was f*****g going on! God dang! So all and all, while you walk around snubbing Trish, a future Hall of Famer, you try and turn a ho into a house wife! Melina’s nothing more than a glorified ring rat. I have zero respect for you Morrison.

“And you know what? We’re going to run into each other at some point in time. I’ll walk right up to you with my chin stuck out and you either chin me, or beat it! But the reality is, you ain’t got the balls to chin me! Cause the reality is, Trish has proven time and time again, to the entire world for that matter, that she has way bigger balls than you’ll ever have.

“Keep trying to turn that ho into a house wife! F**k you Melina! F**k you Morrison! Trying to knock my t-dot girl Trish, who actually earned a spot! God dang!”

  • Val Venis Talks About Jeff Hardy’s Situation (Video)

Former WWE & TNA star Sean Morely (Val Venis) has posted a video clip where he shares his thoughts on Jeff Hardy’s latest incident .. Morley does not comment specifically on Jeff Hardy’s “health” – but clearly did not like the way Jeff Hardy no-sold Sting’s Scorpion Death Drop finisher at the pay-per-view.

  • Val Venis Talks About Presciption Pain Pill Abuse In WWE

As we reported earlier this month, former WWE superstar Val Venis (real name Sean Morley) has launched ScriptDanger.com, a site which aims to spread awareness about the dangers of prescription pain medication abuse. Morley was interviewed by FanHouse.com this week and had this to say about the following topics:

Prescription Pain Pill Abuse: “It’s an epidemic across America. I couldn’t stand by and not try to do anything so we decided to put a team together and we came up with ScriptDanger.com where we’re looking into going to the universities, high schools, colleges, into corporations, small businesses, big businesses, sports teams and really push the message that these prescription drugs are not a game and they can not only ultimately destroy your life and your career, it can kill you.”

WWE’s Wellness Policy: “If your family doctor prescribes you pain meds, there’s not much legally WWE can do about it,” he said. “However, with the Wellness Program, they are monitoring the use of pain meds a lot tighter than they ever did before. So, I think it’s a much healthier environment but the truth be told, no matter what the WWE does, if someone has a desire to abuse pain meds, they’re going to do it regardless of what the Wellness Program states or not.”

His Experience Going Through Withdrawls: “I felt like ripping my skin right off my body. It was horrible. My body just started going through these horrendous withdrawals just from three months of clinical use. That surprised me and I was completely taken back that three months of clinical use could have your body addicted that quickly .. I want to say about a week into [the withdrawls], maybe a little less, the cravings for me to go back to my doctor and get a refill just so I could feel normal again were overwhelming. If it wasn’t for my wife basically keeping me on track and forcing me to power my way through it, I’m sure I would have gone back to the doctor to get another prescription in order to just feel normal again.”

  • Val Venis Fighting To Help Those Abusing Prescription Pills

Former WWE and TNA wrestler Sean Morley, best known as “Val Venis” during WWE’s Attitude Era, has launched ScriptDanger.com to raise awareness about the dangers of abusing prescription medication.

    The site’s mission statement reads:

“The purpose of ScriptDanger.com is to effectively spread the powerful message that prescription drug abuse is a dangerous activity that can and will lead to life destroying addiction and ultimately death. Sean Morley (aka Val Venis) inspires and motivates people to refrain from abusing prescription drugs and provides resources for those who currently need help. Sean speaks to schools, sports teams, church groups, corporations, small and large businesses, and many other organizations around the world.”

The site includes some startling statistics about prescription drug abuse. Between 1995 and 2005, treatment for dependence on prescription drugs grew by more than 300 percent.
