WWE Superstar Wants To See RAW/Smackdown Stars on NXT UK

NXT UK Superstar Wolfgang recently spoke to the UK’s Mirror and suggested that he would like to see some WWE Superstars on the UK brand.

The newspaper asked the Gallus member about the upcoming ‘Superstar Shakeup.’ Wolfgang mentioned what he would like to see happen for the UK brand. The Scottish Superstar stated “It would be great to see new faces, but also some established ones coming over to NXT UK. Just like Noam Dar did recently.”

The Gallus stable member gave some specific names, saying “it would be great to see Jack Gallagher, Drew McIntyre and some of the heavyweights come across.” Wolfgang also mentioned that “people like Sheamus would be good. I know these guys are megastars now, but given where they came from, it would be good to see them back.”

Finally Wolfgang also mentioned “Killian Dain, get him back here if not permanently, but at least for a few episodes. I’m not sure he’s getting the platform he would wish for right now and I think he would jump at the chance.”

NXT UK recently taped their latest batch of episodes for the WWE Network. You can check out the full results for the taping here.

ICW Legends Congratulate Drew McIntyre on Hall of Fame Induction

Former NXT Champion Drew McIntyre will be inducted into the ICW Hall Of Fame later this evening. The icon of Scottish wrestling helped grow and define Insane Championship Wrestling into the phenomenon they are today.

McIntyre (known as Galloway on the independent scene) had two stints for the company, his first back in 2006 when he appeared at the company’s inaugural event and became their first ever Heavyweight Champion and his second followed his 2014 release from WWE. Drew’s run from 2014-2017 completely reignited his career and fundamentally changed the course of ICW’s already incredible success story.

Two of ICW’s biggest stars Lionheart and Wolfgang took to Twitter to congratulate the ‘Chosen One’ for his many accomplishments. Wolfgang, who is currently a member of the WWE United Kingdom roster paid special tribute to the legend, stating that “He was there my first day of training in 03 Without him laying the ground work before leaving in 07 returning in 14 to put Scotland on the world map we may never have got this far.”

Mojo Rawley On Hype Bros Wasting Their Opportunities, UK Title Match Tonight On NXT

    Mojo Rawley backstage interview

On this week’s episode of SmackDown, the Hype Bros faced off against Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin. The Hype Bros didn’t put up too much of a fight and Gable & Benjamin cruised to a quick victory. After the match, Mojo Rawley shook hands with Gable and Benjamin. Zack Ryder wasn’t too fond of that and refused to show sportsmanship. Instead, Ryder exited the ring and stormed backstage, leaving his tag partner behind.

WWE uploaded a new SmackDown Fallout video with Mojo Rawley backstage. Rawley gave credit to Gable and Benjamin in their victory tonight. Mojo said that the loss was very disappointing for the Hype Bros and before Ryder got injured they were number one contenders. Rawley said that after Ryder got hurt he won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal and accomplished a lot.

Mojo claimed that the Hype Bros cannot even win a match right now and that they are wasting their opportunities. Rawley said that he doesn’t know what is wrong right now, but they better figure it out quickly. Rawley then walked away.
