The following are results from the WWE live event in Syracuse, New York. The event was held on Friday, October 4, 2013.

-Brodus Clay def. Fandango via Pinfall. This was a short, mostly comedic match to open up the show. After a lot of dancing around and goofy stuff, Clay picked up the win via pinfall.

-Bo Dallas def. Curt Hawkins via Pinfall. With the win, Dallas retains his WWE NXT Title. A funny spot during this match was when Dallas, during his pre-match promo, talked about how it was great to be in Rochester, New York. They were in Syracuse.

-Prime Time Players def. Real Americans via Pinfall. The crowd was surprisingly very into this match, which Darren Young and Titus O’Neil won when O’Neil pinned Antonio Cesaro.

-Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns def. The Miz & Dolph Ziggler via Pinfall. Very good match, with a lot of fast-paced action. In the end, the WWE Tag-Team Champions were too much for the duo of Miz and Diggler.

-Kofi Kingston def. Big E. Langston via Pinfall. The crowd was really into Kingston, who continues to pile up victories as he heads into Battleground against Bray Wyatt.

-Daniel Bryan def. Randy Orton via Pinfall. Big Show sat at ringside per orders of Triple H. Lots of “Yes!” chants, as you would expect, throughout the majority of the match. • WWE Ignores Fan’s Votes, Zayn vs. Dallas, Batista Note, Wrestler Birthdays

-In a rare turn of events when it comes to the recent Fan’s Choice voting segment of WWE live events where the options for Brie Bella vs. Natalya are a “Dance Contest” and a regular singles match, the fans actually voted for a regular match. As it turns out, it didn’t really matter, as they went ahead and did the same angle that they’ve been doing at all recent live events, with the two starting off in a Dance Contest, only for Bella to attack Natalya and turn it into an actual match.

-Wrestler birthdays for today include WWE Hall Of Famer Bruno Sammartino’s son, David Sammartino, who himself is a former WWE wrestler. Sammartino turns 53 today. Also, former WWE Superstar and ECW original Yoshihiro Tajiri turns 43 today.

SEVERAL *KEY SEGMENTS* For Monday’s RAW ALREADY REVEALED — Details Here!

  • Details On Kane’s Possible WWE RAW Return Date, Update On WWE Cutting Costs

-According to the advertised talent roster on the official website for the Scottrade Center for the October 14th edition of WWE RAW in St. Louis, WWE Superstar Kane, who has been out of action lately filming the sequel to the WWE Studios project, “See No Evil,” is listed as one of the Superstars appearing on the show. It should be noted, however, that WWE.com is not advertising Kane for the 10/14 RAW. Additionally, the Scottrade Center website still lists Randy Orton as the WWE Champion, which would indicate that the advertising, which is listed, as always, as “subject to change,” is out-of-date. For what it’s worth, the website also lists “Mr. McMahon” as appearing on the show as well.

-As previously reported, WWE is taking steps to attempt to cut some unnecessary costs at their non-televised live events by taking some of the non-essential talents, such as performers like Vickie Guerrero and Zeb Colter, off of the road. It’s worth pointing out that despite the reports, while Colter was not at the live events this past weekend, Vickie Guerrero was in fact at the shows.

-Dolph Ziggler def. Big E. Langston via Pinfall. This was a Fan’s Choice match, with the options being a Street Fight or a Two-Out-Of-Three Falls match. The fans went with Street Fight, which was revealed via a Vickie Guerrero promo. Ziggler got the win after using a lot of weapons, such as steel chairs and kendo sticks. Was said to be a good match for the live crowd.

    –Intermission–

-The Prime Time Players def. 3MB. Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre represented 3MB in this one, since Mahal worked earlier tonight against Khali. Darren Young and Titus O’Neil got the win here, with O’Neil looking really impressive in spots.

    –Intermission–

-Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns def. The Miz & Kofi Kingston and Brodus Clay & Tensai via Pinfall. Del Rio was DQ’d so he lost, but retained his World Heavyweight Championship. Afterwards, Damien Sandow teased cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase, but ultimately opted against it.

-CM Punk defeated Curtis Axel via Pinfall in a Non-Title match. The WWE Intercontinental Championship was not on the line here, so no one was surprised to see Punk go over clean in this one. The finish came when Del Rio shoved the referee and applied his Cross Armbreaker finisher. That prompted the DQ on Del Rio, giving Ziggler the win, but not the title. After the match, Ziggler hit Del Rio with the Zig-Zag to send the fans home happy.
