– Los Matadores def. Los Locales (Tyson Kidd & Ricardo Rodriguez) in tag-team action.

WWE Main Event

– Goldust def. Jack Swagger. Cody Rhodes was in Goldust’s corner, Zeb Colter and Antonio Cesaro was in Jack Swagger’s corner. Goldust hit his finisher on Swagger for the pin and the win.

– The Bella Twins & Natalya def. AJ Lee, Tamina Snuka & Aksana in a six-Divas tag-team match. The finish came when Nikki rolled up Tamina for the 1-2-3.

– Fandango def. Kofi Kingston. The finish came when Summer Rae distracted the referee, setting up Fandango’s top-rope leg drop on Kingston for the pin.

Chris Benoit Featured On WWE TV Briefly, Indy Stars At WWE Tryout Camp

– Former WWE Superstar Chris Benoit, who is banned from appearing on WWE programming or DVD releases, was featured briefly in a WWE TLC video package for the John Cena vs. Randy Orton title unification main event match. Benoit was shown being pinned by Orton during the package that aired on WWE Main Event this week.

    – Curtis Axel def. Dolph Ziggler in the opening match, which was actually given a decent amount of time. Ryback ended up causing a distraction, allowing Axel to hit Ziggler with his finisher to secure the pinfall victory.

    – Natalya def. Alicia Fox in Divas action when she forced Fox to tap out to her Sharpshooter submission hold.

    – Xavier Woods & R-Truth def. Tons Of Funk when Truth pinned Brodus Clay. After the match ended, Clay continued his heel turn by beating down Truth. After that happened, Clay and Tensai ended up having a shoving match, teasing further tension between those two.

    The following are results from the WWE Main Event television taping, which was held in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Tuesday, December 3, 2013. The show will air on Wednesday, December 4, 2013.

    WWE Main Event

    – Goldust def. Ryback via Disqualification. This was the opening match of the evening. Cody Rhodes was at ringside in Goldust’s corner, while Curtis Axel was at ringside in Ryback’s corner. The disqualification happened when Axel interfered in the match to break up a pinfall attempt by Goldust.

    – The Usos def. 3MB. Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal represented 3MB in the actual match. Heath Slater was not at ringside during the bout. The Usos picked up the win in this tag-team match via pinfall.

    – Clips from the latest sit-down interview between Michael Cole and Triple H were aired. This time the clips hyped the upcoming WWE TLC main event match between John Cena and Randy Orton.

    – Damien Sandow def. R-Truth in the headline match for this week’s WWE Main Event show. Sandow picked up the win in this singles match by way of pinfall.

  • WWE “Unified Champion” To Be Crowned At TLC

    – WWE announced a singles match between Goldust and Ryback for this week’s edition of WWE Main Event. The match was made official on this week’s edition of WWE RAW from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

    – Also announced on RAW is the official new title for the top championship in WWE. As the result of a fan poll that took place on RAW, the man who wins the John Cena vs. Randy Orton match at TLC will be crowned the Unified Champion of WWE.

    Jim Ross Promises “Major Announcement”, Dolph Ziggler Starts A Drinking Game

    – WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler held a drinking game with fans on his official Twitter account during his match on WWE Main Event on Wednesday night.     The following are complete results from the WWE Main Event television tapings, which were held on Tuesday night in Atlanta, Georgia.

    WWE Main Event

    – Tamina Snuka def. Naomi in a LumberJill Match. The Divas who will be involved in the traditional Survivor Series elimination match this Sunday served as the LumberJills at ringside during the match.

    – Alberto Del Rio def. Santino Marella in singles action. Del Rio picked up the win in a match where dominated almost the entire contest.

    – Fandango def. Kofi Kingston in the main event match for the Main Event television taping. The Miz ended up distracting Kingston during the match, which set up the victory for Fandango.

    – WWE Superstar Sheamus recently appeared at the Folsom Elementary School in Thomotosassa, Florida on Tuesday to serve as a “reading buddy” for a WrestleMania Reading Challenge winner. “When I’m traveling I always have a book with me,” said the WWE Superstar. “Reading is an important part of my everyday life.” You can check out a photo of a clean-shaven Sheamus reading at the school below:

    (Spoilers) WWE Main Event Taping Results From Manchester, England

    The following are results from the WWE Main Event television taping, which was held in Manchester, England on Tuesday, November 12, 2013.

    Dark Match

    – Brad Maddox def. El Locale via a Russian leg-sweep from the middle-rope. The WWE RAW General Manager referred to Manchester as Liverpool to garner some pre-match heat from the fans.

    WWE Main Event

    – Natalya def. AJ Lee via Disqualification in a Divas Championship match. Due to the DQ result, AJ retains her title. The finish came when Tamina Snuka interfered in the match, which prompted the DQ-ruling. Tamina did a run-in just as Natalya had the Divas Champion locked into the Sharpshooter submission hold. After the match, AJ put Natalya in her Black Widow submission hold.

    – Justin Gabriel def. Tyson Kidd via a turnbuckle roll-up. Kidd teased a heel-turn after the match, but the two ended up shaking hands instead.

    – 3MB Union Jacks def. The Prime Time Players. Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre represented 3MB in the match, with Jinder Mahal in their corner. R-Truth was in the corner of The Prime Time Players. Slater and McIntyre picked up the victory over Darren Young and Titus O’Neil when Slater pinned O’Neil following a corkscrew splash.

  • SmackDown Preview: Matches & Segments, Superstars Who Won’t Be Appearing

    Day seven of the WWE European tour continues on Tuesday with half of the WWE roster remaining in Manchester, England for the WWE SmackDown and WWE Main Event television taping, while the rest of the roster travels to Newcastle, England for a non-televised live event.

    Announced already for the SmackDown television taping is an arm-wrestling contest between World Heavyweight Champion John Cena and former champion Alberto Del Rio. The two will continue to hype their upcoming title rematch at the WWE Survivor Series on Sunday, November 24th.

    Confirmed for the WWE Main Event portion of the television taping is a WWE Divas Championship match between current title-holder AJ Lee and Natalya.

    Also official for the SmackDown television taping is an appearance of WWE Superstar CM Punk.

    Unless WWE continues their recent trend of false-advertising, you can count the following Superstars out of SmackDown and Main Event on Tuesday: Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz and The Shield. Orton vs. Bryan is advertised as the main event for the WWE Championship at the live event in Newcastle, as well as a six-man tag-team match featuring Big Show, Dolph Ziggler and The Miz vs. The Shield.

    – WWE has filed a copyright claim in response to the YouTube videos that surfaced online this past weekend that featured leaked satelitte footage from last Monday’s edition of WWE RAW. The two videos have also been removed from YouTube.

    – The final cable rating for last Friday’s edition of WWE SmackDown will be delayed due to the Veteran’s Day holiday on Monday in the United States.

    – WWE will be giving a portion of the money earned from WWE Shop sales to Hire Heroes USA in honor of the Veteran’s Day holiday in the U.S.

  • Luke Harper Makes WWE History, WWE Hall Of Famer At Auto Show In Tampa

    – WWE Superstar Luke Harper became the first man in 2013 to wrestle on WWE RAW, WWE SmackDown, WWE Main Event and WWE NXT in the same week. Harper lost to CM Punk on RAW this past Monday, lost to Daniel Bryan by disqualification on SmackDown this past Friday, teamed with Erick Rowan and defeated The Prime Time Players on Main Event on Wednesday and defeated Kassius Ohno on this week’s edition of WWE NXT.

    – WWE Hall Of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat will be making an appearance at the Tampa Bay International Auto Show on November 23rd from 1pm until 3pm at the Tampa Convention Center on Saturday, November 23rd.

    WWE Main Event (Airing on Wednesday, November 6, 2013)

    -The Usos def. Hunico and Camacho. The Usos picked up the win in tag-team action to officially kick off the WWE Main Event television taping.

    -The Wyatt Family def. The Prime Time Players. Good crowd reactions for this tag-team match, which featured Luke Harper and Erick Rowan pick up the victory over Darren Young and Titus O’Neil.

    -Nikki Bella def. Alicia Fox in a Divas match to conclude the WWE Main Event television taping.

    NOTE: We are currently unsure as to why the scheduled Big E. Langston vs. Curtis Axel match, which was announced for the WWE Main Event taping on RAW on Monday night, never took place. We should have an update on Wednesday morning with additional details on why the match was bumped from the show.

    Curtis Axel Injury Update, RAW & SmackDown TV Tapings In The U.K. Next Week

    -For those wondering, Curtis Axel has been medically cleared to return to the ring by the WWE medical team. This is obvious news to anyone who watched RAW on Monday night, as he worked a match against Dolph Ziggler and was announced as the headline match against Big E. Langston for this week’s WWE Main Event, which is being taped tonight in Charlotte, North Carolina.

    SmackDown Taping Preview: Confirmed Matches & Talent Scheduled To Appear

    WWE will tape their weekly Main Event and SmackDown television programs tonight in Charlotte, North Carolina, before heading out for their bi-annual European tour on Wednesday.

    The main event for this week’s SmackDown, as announced on WWE RAW on Monday night, is Daniel Bryan vs. Luke Harper.

    Also announced on Monday’s RAW was a match pitting the current Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel against Big E. Langston, in a match that was originally slated to serve as the Kickoff Show match prior to the WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view in late-October.

    World Heavyweight Champion John Cena was advertised on RAW as appearing on this week’s SmackDown for the second time in a row, as he will continue the build to his rematch against the former champion, Alberto Del Rio, at the upcoming WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view.

    In addition to the aforementioned WWE Superstars, the following names are being advertised locally for the SmackDown and Main Event television taping in Charlotte are Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Randy Orton, Big Show, The Shield, The Wyatt Family, Dolph Ziggler and Wade Barrett.

    The post-show dark match scheduled for the taping tonight is John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio for the World Heavyweight Championship. That match, which also served as the dark match main event at RAW in Greenville, South Carolina on Monday night, is subject to change.

    WWE announced Big Show vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship as the main event of the upcoming WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view on Sunday, November 24th in Boston, Massachusetts.

    Also announced on RAW for this week’s WWE television taping on Tuesday night are Curtis Axel vs. Big E. Langston for WWE Main Event on Wednesday, as well as Daniel Bryan vs. Luke Harper for WWE SmackDown on Friday. Both shows will be taped on Tuesday night in Charlotte, North Carolina.

    -Adrian Neville def. Sami Zayn. Zayn was playing the heel a bit in this match. Decent opener.

    -Ryback def. Kofi Kingston in the opening match of the taping.

    -Santino Marella def. Heath Slater in what was mostly a comedy match.

    -Fandango def. The Great Khali. Crowd was kind of flat for this one.

    -Los Matadores def. Los Locales. The Los Matadores debuted new blue outfits in this match. Locales appeared to be Ricardo Rodriguez and Tyson Kidd under masks. Los Matadores won to close out the Main Event taping.

    Sheamus Shaves His Beard (Photo), John Cena Tweets LeBron & More

    – The Celtic Warrior has ditched his trademark beard.

    Sheamus, who has been sidelined since August due to a torn labrum in his shoulder, participated in an anti-bullying rally today in Orlando, Florida, with a clean shaven look.

    The three-time world champion is expected to return to action sometime between December and February.

    – Promoting his much anticipated return to the squared circle this Sunday at WWE Hell in a Cell against World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio, John Cena gave a shout out to Miami Heat star player LeBron James on Twitter.

    – Tonight on WWE Main Event on ION Television, WWE Tag Team Champion Goldust will do battle with Seth Rollins. Promoting the match on Twitter, Rollins wrote,

    The following are results from the WWE Main Event television tapings from Tuesday night in Birmingham, Alabama.

    Dark Match:

    -Kofi Kingston def. Tyler Breeze. Kingston won in a match that went about five minutes with his Trouble In Paradise finisher.

    WWE Main Event:

    -Seth Rollins def. Goldust. The match went about five minutes, with the finish coming when Rollins rolled Goldust up for the pinfall after he was distracted by Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns brawling at ringside.

    -A John Cena video was shown to the crowd, who booed it like crazy.

    -The Real Americans def. The Prime Time Players. Decent match with some good crowd reactions. The finish came when Titus O’Neil got caught in the big spin by Antonio Cesaro, with Jack Swagger following up with the Patriot Lock for the submission win in about a seven minute match.

    -Cameron & Naomi def. Alicia Fox & Aksana. This was pretty much what you would expect from the Divas, with the finish coming when Cameron pinned Aksana at approximately the four minute mark.

    -Damien Sandow def. Dolph Ziggler. This was apparently a good match that garnered a ton of crowd reaction, with the finish coming when Sandow beat Ziggler at about the five minute mark.

    HIAC Kickoff Show Match, MizTV With Randy Orton On SmackDown, Main Event

    It was announced on Monday’s edition of WWE RAW that on this week’s WWE Main Event, which will be taped on Tuesday night, Goldust will take on Seth Rollins in one of the main events on the show.

    Also announced on RAW this week was the Kickoff Show match for this Sunday’s WWE Hell In A Cell pay-per-view. In a WWE Intercontinental Championship match, current champion Curtis Axel will defend his title against Big E. Langston.

    Finally, a “MizTV” segment with special guest Randy Orton will take place on this week’s WWE SmackDown, which will also be taped this Tuesday evening.

    Title Match Set For WWE Main Event, Punk On SmackDown, Title Change On RAW

    -WWE announced Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler for Ambrose’s WWE United States Championship as the main event for WWE Main Event on Monday’s edition of WWE RAW.

    WWE Main Event will be taped on Tuesday night in Kansas City, Kansas.

    -Also on RAW this week, it was announced that in a “rare appearance,” CM Punk will be on this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown, which is also taped on Tuesday night in Kansas City.

    -And finally, the WWE Tag-Team Championships changed hands on Monday’s RAW, as Cody Rhodes and Goldust defeated Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns to capture the titles. The Rhodes Brothers picked up the victory via help from Big Show, who interfered on their behalf in the main event of the show.
