WWE Drops More White Rabbit Clues Featuring The Rock, Cody Rhodes, & More On RAW

The ‘White Rabbit’ mystery has become a very popular topic amongst the WWE Universe.

WWE has been playing Jefferson Airplane’s 1967 song “White Rabbit” at live events and during a commercial break on a recent SmackDown.

On last week’s episode of RAW, WWE displayed a QR code as Austin Theory made his way to the ring for a match against Kevin Owens. The URL took fans to a hidden WWE website with a game of Hang Man. The question was “Who killed the world and the answer was “YOU DID”.

On last week’s episode of SmackDown, another QR code appeared during a backstage segment with Hit Row and The Street Profits. The code took fans to another hidden website that revealed the word “patricide”, which means to kill one’s father. Bray Wyatt had previously referenced killing his father in a promo. It also had the coordinates for the arena of tonight’s RAW (Rogers Place).

WWE has released another clue for the White Rabbit during tonight’s episode of RAW. A QR code showed up during Seth Rollins versus Rey Mysterio. The Architect emerged victorious after Dominik distracted his father and Rhea attacked from behind. The code takes fans to WWE’s TikTok page this time and shows a video featuring clips from the past.

The video features Cody Rhodes, Kurt Angle, Edge, The Rock, Randy Orton, and legends from the past saying “Who killed the world? You did”. WWE also played the song during a commercial break of tonight’s RAW.

The number 40701 was displayed in the video and Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful noted that is the zip code for Corbin, Kentucky. Happy Corbin hasn’t been seen since he left in JBL’s limo on a recent episode of SmackDown. The Fiend also defended the Universal Championship against The Miz in the town in 2020.

Bobby got in some more offense before the action spilled out of the ring. The Visionary shoved the US Champion’s injured arm into the ring post and Bobby fell to the floor as RAW went to another break.

Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY) drove to the ring in a golf cart and got a massive pyro. IYO and Dakota celebrated with the Women’s Tag Team Championships as Bayley drove around the ring. Bayley got a great reaction from her hometown crowd and she immediately insulted them. The Role Model hyped up Dakota and IYO while making fun of the San Jose Sharks hockey team. The RAW Women’s Champion interrupted with Bliss and Asuka. This led to a brawl and Alexa Bliss caught Bayley with a punch to the face and Damage CTRL retreated to end the segment.

Owens hobbled into the ring and the match officially began. KO unloaded some strikes in the corner but Austin quickly battled back. Theory stomped KO down to the mat and choked him against the ropes. Owens battled back and went for a Frog Splash off the apron. Theory tripped him up and hit a Neckbreaker on the floor as RAW went to a commercial break.

When RAW returned, the action was back in the ring and Owens sent Theory to the corner. Owens went for a Cannonball but Austin got out of the way and Kevin crashed into the turnbuckle. Theory controlled the next few minutes of the match and hit an Ushigoroshi for a near fall. Austin got frustrated and tried to pin KO several times but he kept kicking out at two. Theory went to use his MITB briefcase as a weapon but Johnny Gargano showed up and ripped it away.

Owens hit a Superkick and knocked Theory to the corner. KO connected with the Cannonball as Johnny Gargano celebrated ringside. Owens followed it up with the Pop-Up Powerbomb for the pinfall victory. After the match, Johnny Gargano dropped the briefcase on Theory for a low blow.

Before the match, a QR code appeared on the screen, bringing viewers to the video below. Alpha Academy vs. Kevin Owens & Johnny Gargano was announced for next week’s RAW.

Ridge eventually got the tag but Dawkins greeted him with a massive shoulder tackle. Angelo followed it up with a Splash and a Samoan Drop for a near fall. Street Profits isolated Butch again in the ring and connected with a Blockbuster for a two count as the crowd chanted “this is awesome!”. Brawling Brutes connected with a Powerslam/kick combo on Dawkins for the pinfall victory.

Judgment Day Picked Up A Win & Tried To Recruit AJ Styles

Judgment Day cut a promo and Rhea Ripley claimed that they have already proven that they run RAW. She claimed that nobody will be able to stop them now that Dominik Mysterio is on their side. The crowd booed as Dominik claimed that he couldn’t be prouder to be standing here with his new family.

Matt Riddle and Rey Mysterio squared off against Finn Balor and Damian Priest of Judgment Day in a tag team match. Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio were ringside for the match. Rey controlled the action early but got distracted by his son. Finn Balor capitalized and got Rey in a Headlock in the middle of the ring.

Rey battled back and connected with a Suplex as Riddle pleaded for a tag. Mysterio hit an Enziguri and jumped to the corner to tag in Matt. Riddle leveled Balor with a kick and delivered some strikes to Damian Priest as well. Matt knocked Damian out of the ring and hit him with a Floating Bro. Back in the ring, Rey hit the 619 and climbed to the top turnbuckle.

Rhea Ripley hopped on the ring apron and Seth Rollins showed up. Seth tried to attack Matt Riddle but Rey charged at him with a steel chair and Rollins escaped through the crowd. Judgment Day isolated Rey after Dominik distracted his father. Balor hit Rey with the Coup de Grace for the pinfall victory. Seth and Riddle brawled in the parking lot after the match.

Finn Balor tried to recruit AJ Styles to Judgment Day but The Phenomenal One declined.

Dexter Lumis Interrupted Miz TV

The Miz and Ciampa made their way to the ring for an episode of Miz TV. The Miz had Dexter Lumis as his guest on the show. Dexter has been stalking The Miz for weeks. Miz claimed that he punched a Minion decoration during his child’s birthday party because he thought Dexter was hiding inside of it. He challenged Lumis to come to the ring and explain his actions.

Dexter started cutting through the ring and popped out from behind Miz. Lumis tried to pull Miz into the hole in the ring but Ciampa stopped him. Ciampa punched Lumis in the face and he fell under the ring. The Miz tried to look in the hole in the ring but Lumis popped out and stared at him to end the segment.

Bayley Picked Up A Win & Challenged Bianca Belair To A Match At Extreme Rules

Alexa Bliss squared off against Bayley in the main event of this week’s RAW. Damage CTRL, RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, and Asuka were ringside for the match.

Bayley controlled the action early but Alexa battled back. Alexa connected with Double Knees and started talking trash with IYO and Dakota. The Role Model capitalized and slammed Bliss’ knee to the mat. Bayley followed it up with a Clothesline for a two count. The action spilled out of the ring and Alexa connected with a Senton off the announce table. Bliss was hobbling and holding her knee as RAW went to the final break of the night.

When RAW returned, Bayley was back in control but couldn’t put Bliss away. Alexa booted Bayley to the corner and then rolled her up for a near fall. Bayley hit the Bayley to Belly and went for the cover but Bliss kicked out at two and the match continued. Alexa connected with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb and went for the cover but The Role Model kicked out at two.

Bayley rolled Alexa up and got her feet on the ropes for leverage. Bianca Belair broke it up and a brawl broke out ringside as Bayley and Alexa locked up in the ring. Alexa booted Bayley in the midsection and planted her with a DDT. Alexa climbed to the top rope but Dakota provided a distraction. IYO shoved Alexa off the turnbuckle and Bayley connected with the Rose Plant for the pinfall victory.

After the match, Damage CTRL attacked Alexa Bliss in the ring. Asuka tried to help but Damage CTRL beat her down. The RAW Women’s Champion got in some shots on Bayley before Dakota and IYO attacked from behind. Bayley then connected with the Rose Plant on Bianca Belair. Bayley grabbed a microphone and said she wants the RAW Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules as the red brand went off the air.

What Happened With Bobby Lashley After Raw Went Off Air

Bobby Lashley appeared on tonight’s episode of RAW in a backstage segment with Seth Rollins.

Seth cut a promo about his victory over Matt Riddle at Clash at the Castle and claimed he had no interest in a rematch. Riddle interrupted the promo and chased Seth through the crowd.

The Judgment Day joined the party and tried to recruit Riddle to the faction but Matt declined. This led to a singles match between Finn Balor and Matt Riddle. Seth interfered and the distraction allowed Balor to hit Riddle with a slingshot DDT for the pinfall victory. After the match, The Visionary got into the ring and delivered a Stomp to Riddle.

Seth was interviewed backstage following the attack but was quickly interrupted by United States Champion Bobby Lashley. Rollins said he was the face of RAW and Lashley disagreed. Bobby claimed that having the United States Championship makes him the face of the show. Seth challenged Bobby to a match for the title and it was made official for next week’s RAW.

Bobby Lashley Retains The United States Championship After WWE RAW

The challenger went for a Chokeslam but Lashley escaped and connected with the Spear for the pinfall victory. You can check out the finish of the title match in the video below.

10 Takeaways From WWE RAW (9/12): Edge vs. Dominik, Open Challenge, New Champions

WWE RAW aired live from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon this week. Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez defended the Women’s Tag Team Championships against Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky tonight. Johnny Gargano made his return to the ring against Chad Gable.

RAW Results (9/12)

  • Finn Balor def. Riddle

  • Johnny Gargano def. Chad Gable
  • Bianca Belair def. Sonya Deville to retain the RAW Women’s Championship
  • Omos def. enhancement talent
  • Edge def. Dominik Mysterio via DQ

Here are the takeaways from this week’s show:

Seth Rollins Doesn’t Want A Rematch With Riddle

Seth Rollins kicked off this week’s RAW and got a tremendous reaction from the crowd. Rollins asked if the crowd believes in karma and boasted about his victory over Riddle at Clash at the Castle. The audience sang his theme song before Seth brought up Riddle requesting a rematch. He stated that he’s not too interested in a rematch and crowd started chanting for it.

Rollins got pissed and told the crowd to shut up. The Visionary said that it has been far too long since he’s held championship gold but Riddle interrupted. Riddle marched down the entrance ramp, said “bro”, and attacked Rollins. The two traded punches in the ring until Riddle dumped Seth over the top rope. Seth bounced Riddle’s head off the announce table and tried to escape through the crowd.

Riddle chased after Seth and caught up to him. Rollins struck Riddle again and sprinted backstage. The lights went out and The Judment Day showed up. Finn Balor and Damian Priest offered Riddle a spot in the faction. Balor claimed that they’ve taken care of Rey Mysterio and Dominik is going to take care of Edge tonight.

The audience started chanting “no!” as Damian asked Riddle to join Judgment Day or fall against them. Riddle declined and said that right now he’s focused on Rollins. Balor joked that Portland has less laws and Riddle’s brain might be a little foggy (because of all the weed). Riddle knocked Balor down with a punch to the face as RAW went to a break.

Finn Balor def. Riddle, Seth Rollins Attacked

Riddle battled Finn Balor in a singles match. Damian Priest was ringside for the match. Finn dominated the action early and connected with a Neckbreaker for a near fall. Riddle tried to battle back but Balor hit him with another Neckbreaker on the ring apron as RAW went to a break.

When RAW returned, Riddle connected with an overhead kick and followed it up with a forearm to the face. Riddle hit an Exploder Suplex and Balor rolled out of the ring to regroup. Riddle caught him with a kick and then a springboard Floating Bro onto Judgment Day below.

Rey Mysterio then showed up through the crowd and jumped onto Damian Priest ringside. Seth Rollins tried to attack Riddle but he was ready for it. Riddle was about to hit Seth with a DDT when Balor planted him with a slam. Finn followed it up with the Coup de Grace for the pinfall victory. After the match, Seth attacked and hit Riddle with the Stomp.

Damage CTRL Captured The Women’s Tag Titles

Aliyah & Raquel Rodriguez defended the Women’s Tag Team Championships against Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky (Damage CTRL) tonight on RAW. Bayley was ringside for the match. Damage CTRL controlled the action early and isolated Aliyah in the ring. Aliyah battled back and had the match won but Bayley put Iyo’s boot on the rope.

Raquel attacked Bayley but turned around into a Moonsault from Iyo. Back in the ring, Dakota Kai hit a Destroyer on Aliyah for the pinfall victory. Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky are the new Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Opinion: One has to wonder if Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez simply won the tournament just because everyone expected Damage CTRL to win. They served as transitional champions after the title was vacant for months. I have no idea what the point of that was.

Johnny Gargano Returned To the Ring, Theory Attacked

Johnny Gargano returned to the ring after 9 months away tonight on WWE RAW. He battled Chad Gable and Otis was ringside for the match. Chad got in some offense early but Johnny Wrestling battled back with a Hurricanrana. Johnny followed it up with a Dropkick and went for the Gargano Escape but Gable blocked it.

Gable was in control when RAW returned from a break and focused his attack on Johnny’s knee. Gargano connected with the slingshot Spear for a near fall. Chad connected with a slam and climbed to the top rope. Gargano rolled out of the way of a Moonsault but Gable caught him with a German Suplex for another two count.

Chad climbed back to the top turnbuckle and went for a Splash but Gargano got out of the way. Johnny quickly locked in the Gargano Escape but Gable broke free. Chad got Gargano in an Ankle Lock in the middle of the ring but he broke free. Johnny took Gable down with a Clothesline and both superstars fell to the canvas.

Gargano sent Gable out of the ring but Otis caught him. Johnny hit them both with a Suicide Dive and rolled Gable back into the ring. Johnny booted Otis away and planted Gable with a One Final Beat DDT for the pinfall victory. After the match, Otis went for an attack but Gargano was able to avoid him. Johnny posed on the entrance ramp but Theory attacked from behind. Theory hit him with the Money in the Bank briefcase and took a selfie with Alpha Academy.

Kevin Owens Confronted Austin Theory In A Great Promo

Theory cut a promo after the attack and claimed that Johnny Gargano was at the bottom of the food chain. The crowd kept chanting “what?!” and Theory shouted at them. Kevin Owens interrupted and Theory called him an idiot. Theory said he’s sick of his moments being ruined by Owens, Tyson Fury, etc. He vowed to take over the entire industry as the youngest MITB winner in history.

KO stated that Theory was the handpicked talent of the future but that is not the case anymore. Owens noted that guys like him and Gargano don’t look anything like Theory. Austin interrupted and said that Owens was right about that. Austin claimed that he’s done more in the past 5 months than KO and Gargano combined in the past five years.

Kevin called Austin a delusional jackass and claimed that Austin accomplished everything because he was handed a ton of opportunities. Owens noted that he doesn’t blame Theory, because the Universal Championship was handed to him back in the day. KO added that he is the complete opposite of Theory and he’s proud of that.

Owens wondered how many guys have passed through WWE just like Austin and fizzled out after going nowhere. KO then wondered how many guys like him and Gargano and made it to the top. Owens told Theory that people like him are a dime a dozen, while people like him and Gargano are the heart of this business.

He told Austin that he doesn’t believe he has what it takes to be the future. KO dared Theory to prove him wrong and start making moments for himself. Kevin smacked Theory in the face and shouted “that is how you become the face of WWE!”. Austin flexed and told KO that he’ll never be like him.

Owens then slapped Austin in the face even harder and the two traded punches before WWE officials broke it up. Theory was busted open in the brawl. KO versus Austin Theory was later announced for next week’s episode of WWE RAW.

Bianca Retained, Damage CTRL Interrupted

Bianca Belair issued an Open Challenge for the RAW Women’s Championship tonight. The EST stood in the ring for a bit when Sonya Deville’s music hit. Sonya said she didn’t forget about their past and blamed Bianca for costing her the job as WWE official. Belair then defended the RAW Women’s Championship against Sonya Deville.

Sonya got in some offense early and beat the champ down against the turnbuckle. Belair responded with a Clothesline and then a Dropkick. Bianca connected with a Suplex and a standing Moonsault for a two count. The action spilled out of the ring and Deville slammed Belair on the floor as RAW went to a break.

When RAW returned, Deville was still in control and the action returned to the ring. The champion battled back and planted Sonya with a Suplex. Bianca bashed Deville into the turnbuckle and hit her with some knee strikes. Bianca followed it up with the KOD for the pinfall victory. Bianca Belair is still the RAW Women’s Champion.

After the match, Bayley interrupted Bianca’s celebration and wondered if she was inspired by Damage CTRL’s victory earlier. Bayley stated that they are going to take control of this whole division and tonight is just the beginning. She told Bianca that she should be embarrassed about getting pinned by her at Clash at the Castle because she hadn’t wrestled in over a year.

Bianca dared Bayley to get into the ring but Damage CTRL attacked from behind. Asuka and Alexa Bliss made the save and the heels retreated leaving Bayley alone in the ring. Bianca planted Bayley with a Spinebuster and booted her out of the ring.

Omos Dominated

Omos dominated two jobbers tonight on RAW as MVP was ringside. Omos won with ease and posed for the crowd after the match. There were technical difficulties with the broadcast before the match began.

Opinion: We’ve already seen Omos lose matches, arm wrestling contests, etc. It feels a little late to go back to squash matches at this point.

Bobby Lashley Will Defend US Title Against Seth Rollins Next Week On RAW

Lashley interrupted an interview with Seth Rollins backstage. Rollins claimed that he was the face of Monday Night RAW and Lashley disagreed. Bobby said he’s the United States Champion and “he who has the gold is the face of RAW”. Seth suggested a match against Lashley next week for the United States Championship and to find out who the face of RAW really is. Bobby accepted and stared at Rollins for a bit before leaving.

Dexter Lumis Got Inside The Miz’s House

While promoting Miz & Mrs., The Miz claimed that Dexter Lumis somehow got inside of his house. The interviewer asked what Dexter did to him and Miz got angry. He said he didn’t want to talk about it and left his house. Miz and Maryse drove away and Dexter Lumis was shown inside The Miz’s house. Dexter held up a weird Miz & Mrs. drawing to end the segment.

Judgment Day Attacked Edge

Edge battled Dominik Mysterio in tonight’s main event. Earlier on RAW, Dominik cut a backstage promo about stepping out of the shadow of his father. Rhea Ripley whispered something in Dominink’s ear and then accompanied him to the ring for the match.

Edge controlled the action early and bashed Dominik’s face off the barricade outside the ring. The Rated-R Superstar cleared off the announce table before launching Mysterio into the steel steps. Edge booted Dominik in the face and rolled him back into the ring. Rhea Ripley hit Edge with a cheap shot and laughed ringside. Dominik capitalized by shoving Edge into the steel steps as RAW went to the final commercial break of the night.

When RAW returned, Dominik was in control and connected with a Frog Splash off the top rope for a near fall. Edge booted Dominik and sent him flying into the ring post. Edge connected with the Edgecution for a near fall. The Rated-R Superstar followed it up with an Impaler DDT and both superstars were down on the canvas.

Edge got up first to a big pop from the crowd. Dominik dodged a Spear and locked in a Half Crab in the middle of the ring. Edge countered into an inside cradle for a two count. Edge tied Dominik’s arms in the top rope and started unloading punches to his face as the crowd chanted along.

The referee pushed Dominik away at a five count and Edge returned to punch him in the face some more. Once again, the referee backed Edge away. Edge was about to hit Dominik with a Spear but Rey got in the way. Edge shoved Rey Mysterio out of the ring and Damian Priest attacked. Judgment Day beat Edge down and gave Dominik a steel chair. Dominik then started bashing Edge over and over in the knee with the steel chair as the crowd booed. Balor then hit the Coup de Grace on Edge’s knee. Judgment Day posed in the ring to a chorus of boos as RAW went off the air.

Final Thoughts: It is odd that security was so quick to rush the ring while Owens and Theory were trading punches but allowed Edge to get brutally attacked for several minutes. Overall, RAW wasn’t anything special this week but the card for next week’s show looks strong.

Zach Myers of Shinedown on the Band’s Rock & Wrestling Connection

The rock and wrestling connection remains strong. No band knows that better than Shinedown. This popular band is taking the charts by storm with their latest album “Planet Zero,” which brought them a 19th number one on Active Rock. Their smash “Daylight,” also gave them their 18th Mainstream Rock number one. We’re talking the most in the 41-year history of the chart’s existence.

Helping them over time no doubt is the exposure that comes when six of their songs play on WWE shows. This includes WrestleMania, and for quite a while, Raw every Monday night. Shinedown’s Zach Myers got a sense of the company’s reach very quickly.

“You’ll be on a day off in Albuquerque and go to a restaurant,” Myers recalled. “I look like I’m in a band I guess, so they’ll ask what band I’m in. I’ll say Shinedown. They’ll respond with, ‘Yeah, you guys were the Raw theme song for two years.’ It’s really cool to have that relationship.”

Myers along with lead singer Brent Smith, Barry Kerch, and Eric Bass have had wrestlers at their shows. They’ve also been at WWE events. Friendships have formed, built on mutual respect and exchange of fandoms.

On August 28, frontman and Knoxville, TN, native Smith was surprised with the key to Knox County, presented by mayor Glenn Jacobs (aka professional wrestler Kane) on stage during the band’s show at Thompson-Boling Arena. Through their relationship with the WWE, Shinedown guitarist Zach Myers and the band’s head of security John Guarnieri helped to plan this special honor for Brent with the mayor’s office. The key was crafted by students at Brent’s alma mater South Doyle High School. PRESS HERE to watch.

“The parallels between those two universes are way more similar than most people realize,” Myers said. “I would go even further as to say there is a percentage of our fans that came from the wrestling world…I think a percentage of our global fan base has come from that which is really cool. It’s always really nice. We were never the cool band. We were never on MTV. We were never on VH1. We kind of made our own cool. We are a radio band that just did the work live and really gained fans from radio and our live shows.”

Myers will make it a point to attend shows when he is home when WWE is in town. Even before being part of rock’s go-to hitmakers, the musician has been a longtime fan.

“I was at one of the Raw’s Hulk Hogan came back after being gone for a long time,” he reminisces. “I remember seeing WCW a long time ago with one of Goldberg’s first appearances when I was younger. They take care of us as we go now. We’re usually in the front row. It’s always super fun. I’m a big shoe guy, so I remember when Hulk Hogan came out in his Jordans. I have been there for a lot of them. It has been really cool to see.”

He admittedly doesn’t follow as much on TV anymore. Touring the world is not only Shinedown but Smith & Myers, Hanson, and other music projects will take up a lot of time. Not to mention being a dad.

“I have two kids, and I’m dad-ing full-time when I’m not on the road,” Myers explained. “When the live events come, I’ll usually backtrack Peacock for a couple of weeks. My younger brother is seven years younger than me. He is super into it still. So we go and he’ll catch me up on what’s going on.”

Shinedown Photo 3 credit Sanjay Parikh

When asked who the biggest Shinedown fans in pro wrestling are, Myers runs down a number of top stars. Everyone from Triple H to Fozzy’s own Chris Jericho, who has been a friend of his for 15 years. Memories start flooding back.

“We did WrestleMania in Chicago, the pre-event at House of Blues,” Myers said. “WrestleMania does the whole weekend wherever they are. John Cena came and a bunch of people came. There is a very early photo of us with John Cena. He looked great. We did not. This is the old days of Shinedown when we weren’t as healthy as we are now. [Happy] Corbin and I are really close. Not even through wrestling. We met each other through wrestling, but we are both cooks. We both love barbecue and cooking outdoors to the point that we actually discussed doing a show together and pitching a show to a network.

Then there was the time he crossed paths with his favorite legend in red and yellow.

“I got to meet Hulk Hogan one time. He said he knew who Shinedown was,” he added. Whether he was lying to me or not, that was cool for me …We were walking in Target the other day and my son saw the wrestling action figures and they did this legend’s remake thing…He pointed to one. I said, “That’s dada’s favorite wrestler of all time. It came full circle for me.

“I told my wife that when he turns 7 I think I’ll let him start watching. He has a brother two years younger than him, and they fight enough for my taste. Wrestling would add more fuel to the fire. I think next year I’ll start him at events.”

“Planet Zero” is out now. See Shinedown when they come to a city near you!

The Miz and Ciampa were interviewed backstage. The Miz refused to comment on what happened to him after he was kidnapped by Dexter Lumis on last week’s WWE RAW.

Street Profits def. Alpha Academy, Kurt Angle Appears

Kurt Angle made his way to the ring in his wrestling gear to a big pop from the crowd. Alpha Academy interrupted to a chorus of boos as RAW went to a commercial break. Kurt Angle and Chad Gable traded words and catchphrases when RAW returned. Alpha Academy challenged Angle but Street Profits made the save.

Street Profits battled Alpha Academy with Kurt Angle ringside. Otis slammed Montez Ford to the mat and tagged in Gable. The action spilled out of the ring and Angelo flipped onto Gable & Otis outside the ring. Back in the ring, Gable hit Dawkins with a Dragon Screw in the corner.

Montez Ford tagged in and hit Chad with a Crossbody. Ford followed it up with a thunderous Clothesline and flexed for the crowd. Montez hit a standing Shooting Star Press for a two count and made his way to the top rope. Otis hopped on the ring apron for a distraction and Gable capitalized with a Belly to Belly throw off the top rope as RAW went to a commercial break.

WWE Raw Superstar Backstage at AEW Dynamite

A current member of the WWE Raw roster was backstage for the June 1 episode of AEW Dynamite.

The show was held inside The Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA. This episode of Dynamite very much had a “Raw after WrestleMania” feel to it. This was the post-Double or Nothing edition of Dynamite.

Fans witnessed a scathing shoot-style promo from MJF. He called AEW President Tony Khan a “f*cking mark” and demanded to be fired.

Adding another element of realism, CM Punk tried confronting MJF during commercial break but Max left through the crowd.

Who Was Backstage For AEW Dynamite?

Fightful is reporting that WWE Raw superstar Dolph Ziggler was backstage for AEW Dynamite. It’s been said that he was very well-liked by the end of the night.

CJ Perry, the former Lana, was also backstage. She is the wife of Miro, who made his return from injury.

Ziggler’s younger brother, Ryan Nemeth, is on the AEW roster.

Dolph had some fun with his brother after Ryan scored his first piece of AEW merchandise back in May.

Real Reason WWE Superstar Missed May 30 Raw

One WWE superstar didn’t make an appearance on Monday Night Raw despite being advertised.

That superstar in question is Lacey Evans. For weeks, WWE has been running vignettes of Lacey telling her emotional story.

She was advertised for a match against an unnamed opponent on the May 30 episode of Raw but never appeared.

Reason Lacey Evans Missed Raw

Lacey Evans, who had been out of action for months due to pregnancy, took to her Twitter account to say that she is still “recovering.”

While Lacey didn’t show up on Raw, WWE made sure to keep her name in the minds of fans watching the show. The promotion ran a video showing her appearance at the Coca-Cola 600 this past weekend.

The vignettes that WWE has run for Lacey initially seemed to indicate she’s being poised for a massive babyface push. After all, she has told stories of overcoming tragedy to get to where she is today.

As it turns out, PWInsider has reported that Evans is penciled in as a heel on the Raw brand. Time will tell if WWE changes plans.

What Happened After May 30 WWE Raw Went Off The Air

Another episode of WWE Raw is in the books.

The May 30 episode of Raw was held inside the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa. The show featured a brawl between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins after Seth referenced Cody’s time in AEW.

There was also a non-title match between Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and Asuka. Belair ended up winning the match with a rollup. After the match, Becky Lynch attacked both women.

The show ended with a contract signing between Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Omos. Despite a run-in from Cedric Alexander, the show ended with Lashley nailing Omos through a table with a Spear.

Once Cameras Stopped Rolling

It’s been a running theme for WWE to have Cody and Seth wrestle once Raw goes off the air. Things were no different on May 30 in Des Moines.

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins did battle at least one more time before their Hell in a Cell match on June 5.

Cody emerged victorious in the dark match.

Asuka interrupted and mocked Becky Lynch. RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair joined the party and Becky hit her with a cheap shot. A brawl broke out and Asuka & Belair started arguing. Bianca sent Lynch to the ring apron and Asuka hit her with the Hip Attack to end the segment. Belair will face Asuka next in a singles match.

Rhodes stated that Seth Rollins lives up to the hype but is an egomaniac. Cody added that is one of the things that makes him so dangerous and this Sunday will be the biggest challenge of his entire career.

Rhodes said that all the respect he has for him and every ounce of self-control he has will be locked outside of Hell in a Cell. Seth Rollins interrupted and cackled into the microphone from the crowd. Rollins stated that his motivation is quite simple because he doesn’t like Cody Rhodes and doesn’t want him here.

Seth noted that Cody’s pandering got worse over the weeks and he’s tired of the Cody chants. Rollins claimed that Cody wasn’t good enough back in the day, and he and his little friends tried to tear down what he was building here. Rollins added that Cody doesn’t get to take a sledgehammer to the throne, only to try to come to take that throne from him. Seth vowed to prey on Cody’s insecurities and end him at Hell in a Cell. Rollins added “then we can all finally wake up from this American Nightmare” and cackled into the microphone.

Rhodes said that the time for talk is over and challenged Seth to come to the ring for a fight. Rollins started coming down the stairs but stopped at the barricade. WWE Raw Superstars Scheduled For June 3 SmackDown

It appears that a pair of WWE RAW stars are slated for this week’s SmackDown Live show on June 3.

PWInsider is reporting that AJ Styles and The Miz are penciled in for this weekend’s SmackDown Live from Columbus, Ohio. It’s likely that the pair will only be used for the show’s dark matches.

However, WWE has been using stars from other brands on television, so it’s certainly possible that Styles and Miz could be on the SmackDown broadcast. Last week, RAW star Kevin Owens did a “KO Show” segment on SmackDown.

As of this writing, the only thing scheduled for SmackDown this week is the return of Madcap Moss. Moss was injured by Baron Corbin several weeks ago after being attacked with a steel chair.

Initial reports suggest Moss could be returning with a new look and gimmick. Moss did confirm on Twitter recently that fans will be seeing a new side of him when he returns, likely as he seeks revenge on Corbin.

This will be the final show before Hell In A Cell on Sunday. It’s possible that more RAW stars could appear ahead of the premium event as well.

We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
