WWE Called Out For Snubbing Sting After AEW Revolution Retirement Match

Sting wrestled his final match at AEW Revolution, and the pro wrestling world reacted in a big way. Despite his time in WWE, it seems that the company forgot to give The Stinger his flowers.

Pro wrestlers, fans, and companies from all over the world sent out tributes to Sting. WWE was not one of the companies that sent out a message, and this was noticed in a big way.

WWE No-Sells Sting’s Retirement

Sting and Darby Allin took on The Young Bucks in the final match of Revolution. That was a brutal glass-filled match, and tons of action went down. In the end, Sting and Darby Allin walked out of the building as champions.

NJPW, NOAH, TNA, and AEW sent out tributes to Sting. Plenty of other pro wrestling fans also sent out their favorite memories from The Icon. WWE was radio silent, as they did not give him any sort of tribute on any platform.

The fact is that WWE owns a majority of Sting’s career. They have the video libraries from practically every company Sting ever traveled through in their database. WWE could have put out a fantastic tribute video, but they decided not to.

What’s Next for Sting

Sting said he’s done with in-ring competition, and he doesn’t really have any interest in becoming a coach. We will have to see what he does next, but the 64-year-old legend will get some time to enjoy his retirement now.

We will have to see if Sting gets any flowers at all during WWE RAW this week. Then again, the company is well on the road to WrestleMania 40 at this point, so odds are they are preoccupied and won’t be sending out any tribute for Sting.

SEScoops will have continued coverage of this story, just in case there are more updates. Sting will be missed, but he certainly left it all in the ring as he inspired generations to come.

Thank you, Sting.

History of AEW PPV Events

AEW Double or Nothing

All Elite Wrestling launched in May 2019 at AEW Double or Nothing, the promotion’s inaugural pay-per-view event. Over the course of the next calendar year, they’d introduce All Out, Full Gear and Revolution.

The quarterly PPV schedule was kept until 2022, when the expansion period began. It began with AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door, a groundbreaking event that featured the top stars from both AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Last year, we saw the additions of All In: London from the historic Wembley Stadium, WrestleDream honoring the late Japanese wrestling legend Antonio Inoki and Worlds End, right before the end of the year.

AEW Dynasty now bridges the gap in the spring season between Revolution in February/March and Double or Nothing in late May over Memorial Day weekend.

9 PPV’s appears to be a sweet spot for AEW, in addition to the three special events presented by Ring of Honor. If that’s not enough, AEW also runs special themed-editions of AEW Dynamite throughout the year, such as Big Business, Grand Slam, Fyter Fest, Holiday Bash & New Year’s Smash, and others.

Behind the Scenes: AEW’s Blueprint for Sting’s Revolution 2024 Retirement Match

AEW Revolution went off the air, with Sting and Darby Allin celebrating as champions. That was quite a moment, but there is more in store. The sad part is that Sting’s legendary career is certainly over at this point.

Sting has officially retired from wrestling, wrapping up his career as a tag team champion. You can click here for highlights from the big match.

Plan After Sting’s Retirement.

A new report from Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select shed new light on what is next. Of course, the company needs to deal with their tag team title situation, but this is all a part of the plan.

Currently, the plan is to resolve the tag team title situation promptly. However, Darby Allin isn’t anticipated to retain the titles with a new partner. AEW sources indicated to the outlet that the decision for the Young Bucks to emerge without securing victory was made weeks ago, but they were intended to remain closely involved in the tag team title scene.

All Elite Wrestling and Tony Khan were insistent on Sting concluding his career on a high note, holding a championship. The management at AEW has consistently emphasized the importance of appropriately honoring Sting.

AEW Revolution Main Event

Although it was teased that Sting’s last match wouldn’t main event Revolution, the idea of Sting headlining and main eventing the show had been in the works virtually since the moment of his retirement announcement. He also reportedly played a significant role in selecting the Young Bucks as his final opponents, as previously reported. The event’s location was also changed from the originally planned Midwest location to better accommodate Sting’s retirement, although efforts are underway to rectify this for Midwest fans.

During the recent event, there were several individuals vying to obtain one of the bats hanging backstage as a memento. Additionally, some talent was getting items signed by Sting at last week’s show.

Sting’s Special Guests

Notably, Lex Luger, Ricky Steamboat, Scotty Riggs, and several others were present backstage to support Sting and were not kept out of view before the AEW Revolution show.

Following Sting’s indication to his sons, they walked alongside the ramp to the backstage area. They returned after the show for Sting’s off-air speech. Tony Khan was brought out and thanked by Sting, with the entire roster joining on the ramp to bid farewell to Sting. Darby jokingly mentioned that he had to leave for the hospital.

As of right now, there have been no announcements regarding additional dates for Sting. It appears that he is now officially retired, but you also can never say never in pro wrestling.

AEW Revolution 2024: Sting Picks Up Win In Final Match To Retire A Champion

Sting wrestled his final match at AEW Revolution, and it was quite a historic event. The North Carolina crowd was into the match for the entire contest, and there was a lot to take in.

Sting received an amazing entrance, first with a short movie called The Final Showtime, where The Icon sat in an empty movie theater and watched some career highlights, and then both Surfer Sting and Wolfpac Sting received love during his final entrance on pay-per-view. That was only the intros.

The Match

The Young Bucks took on Darby Allin and Sting in the main event with the AEW World Tag Team Titles on the line. This match pulled no punches, spilling out into the arena, and weapons were also heavily involved in the tornado tag team match.

Darby Allin took a brutal bump through glass off a ladder, and that left Sting to fend for himself. Ric Flair also got involved, as he tried to protect him. Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, who was guest timekeeper, also got into the action there.

Sting hulked up against The Young Bucks, and he tried to close the deal, but could not pull off a win with the Scorpion Death Drop. Then Sting kicked out of an EVP Trigger, and then he kicked out at the one-count after a second EVP Trigger.

The Icon was ready to take more abuse, and the crowd was all behind him. The Young Bucks then set Sting up for the TK Driver, which is the re-named Meltzer Driver, but Darby Allin broke up that move.

The Finish

Suddenly, Sting got a Scorpion Death Drop on Matt Jackson, and he kicked out. Darby Allin, who was covered in blood from that glass spot, hit a Coffin Drop on Matt before Sting latched on a Scorpion Death Lock for the win.

Sting won the match for his team, and will retire 1/2 of the AEW World Tag Team Champions. It was a fitting end to a historic career, and now Sting will ride off into the sunset. After the match, Sting gave a speech, where he wondered how many stitches Darby Allin would need after lacerating his back as he did with that glass stunt. Then, the event ended with fans chanting, “You still got it.”

Hangman Page’s Future Uncertain: AEW Revolution Loss Sparks Speculation

AEW Revolution saw Samoa Joe retain the AEW World Title, but there is a lot more to the finish of that match, which saw Hangman Page take the loss.

Hangman Page Taking A Hiatus

Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that at AEW Revolution tonight, Hangman Page suffered a defeat, and there might be significant cause behind it.

It was noted that, in the days leading up to the match, and for a considerable duration before that, there had been discussions indicating Hangman Page’s intention to take a break from AEW television. Although the exact commencement of this hiatus remains uncertain, it could potentially be linked to his actions involving referees during the Revolution event.

What’s Next For Hangman Page

Hangman Page attacked AEW referees during the main event match, and that could open the door to taking a much longer hiatus from the company.

Interestingly, Hangman Page’s participation in tonight’s match was uncertain until just this past week. Reports suggest that if he indeed opts for a break, it could extend for several months. AEW tried to run a fake injury angle, but it was then noted that he Page wasn’t really injured.

SEScoops will keep a close eye on this story for more updates as additional information is made available.

37-Year-Old Makes Surprise Return At AEW Revolution 2024

AEW Revolution was a night full of unexpected action. Even after a title change, you still never know what can happen next.

Orange Cassidy lost the International Title to Roderick Strong, but that wasn’t the biggest talking point. An old friend returned to the ring, and he threw things into a new direction.

Orange Cassidy walked into the AEW Revolution event as International Champion. He gave it his all against Roderick Strong, but in the end, Freshly Squeezed couldn’t close the deal on Strong.

The match ended with a clean finish as OC put Roderick Strong over in very strong fashion.

Kyle O’Reilly Returns

After Roderick Strong beat Orange Cassidy for the International Title, he was celebrating in the ring with the Undisputed Kingdom. Then, Kyle O’Reilly got in the ring.

O’Reilly had to get neck surgery, and he has been out of action for a long time. Now, it appears that the wait for him to come back is over.

Roderick Strong offered Kyle an Undisputed Kingdom t-shirt, but he didn’t take it. Instead, O’Reilly simply whispered something into Roddy’s ear, and he walked off.

SEScoops will have continued coverage of this story, and so much more, in the pro wrestling world. You never know what can happen next, especially during an AEW pay-per-view.

AEW Revolution 2024: Tony Khan Responds To Fans Outraged By Bleacher Report Outage

Wrestling fans were temporarily unable to watch Sunday’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view due to a widespread outage at Bleacher Report.

Revolution, the company’s first PPV of 2024, carried a $50 price tag.

Personal Experience

I had issues logging onto BR Live on a Smart TV, laptop, and tablet. I was finally able to get it to work on iOS, but it is shaky. Needless to say, my problem was not an isolated incident, because tons of fans are left without a show, even after paying $50.

Midway through the entrances for the scramble match, the screen went to a blank graphic, and only played the audio of the event. This was not a good look for BR Live at all.

They did not address any technical problems during commentary, as the show carries on. Tony Khan can’t be happy about the fact that so many fans were not able to pay for the event that his company produced tonight.

Tony Khan Responds

Tony Khan addressed the Bleacher Report outage live during the show. He thanked all of the fans who ordered the pay-per-view, and he assured fans that the issue has been fixed on ‘most platforms.’

Sting’s Crow Evolution: Inconsistencies Surface in Its Creation Story

Sting will wrap up his legendary career at AEW Revolution, and many fans are watching to see how he ends everything in the ring. He will also likely wear his black and white face paint for the last time in a pro wrestling ring, which will be an epic moment. The gimmick itself is also a huge point of discussion.

While speaking to Bleacher Report, Sting claimed that he didn’t directly take his gimmick from The Crow. He said that it wasn’t until later, when people started calling him Crow Sting, that he actually picked up on the similarity.

Sting’s Recollection of Inspiration

The Icon looked back at that time of his career, when the Crow gimmick was created, “I do remember those movies, and I was dubbed that name, Crow Sting, and I took from many many different people that influenced me,” Sting said. “From the band Kiss to even Rocky Horror Picture Show. That was like a cult movie in California. You know, Batman. So many people influenced me over the years.”

Sting had many inspirations, and it wasn’t just The Crow, because KISS and Batman were already around.

“I suppose possibly The Crow character may have had some influence but it was nothing that I ever really thought about until everybody said ‘He’s Crow Sting.’ and I went ‘Oh, okay. Yeah, I see that.’ I saw the movie I think. I don’t think I’ve seen the whole movie from beginning to end. I’ve just seen bits and pieces of it over the years, but I remember when it first came out.”When I was developing this Crow character, I wasn’t thinking about the movie at all. I was thinking about Kiss, I was thinking about Rocky Horror, I was thinking about Batman. And there’s others that influenced me over the years.””But it’s just weird, that Crow thing, of all things Crow, why wouldn’t that be something on the forefront? I don’t know”

Conflicting Story To Sting’s Inspiration

In a resurfaced interview with Scott Hall, he told the story of suggesting that Sting wear white face paint and adopt a darker character. Hall then claimed that he asked Sting if he had seen The Crow.

Eric Bischoff chimed in during this clip, and he said how Sting couldn’t get enough of this Crow character. He was all in for the change, and although it was a massive alteration, it certainly made pro wrestling history.

Sting’s Final Match

Sting will wrap up his legendary career during AEW Revolution. He will team with Darby Allin to take on The Young Bucks with the AEW World Tag Team Titles on the line. His match may not main event the show, but it is still a huge attraction for the pay-per-view event.

The direct inspiration of Sting’s gimmick may be a matter of debate at this time, but there is no arguing that Sting’s contributions to the pro wrestling world help change history and inspire generations after him.

Thank you, Sting.

AEW Revolution 2024: Sting’s Last Match Teased That It Wouldn’t Be The Main Event

Sting will wrestle his final match at AEW Revolution this year. That match is getting a lion’s share of the attention, but it apparently won’t close out the pay-per-view at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.

AEW Revolution 2024 is a loaded show, full of big matches. That being said, for some reason, it seems that Tony Khan isn’t going with Sting’s farewell match to close out the show in North Carolina.

As of this writing, it appears that Samoa Joe vs Hangman Page vs Swerve Strickland will close out the Revolution pay-per-view. Renee Paquette mentioned this during the AEW Revolution pre-show.

Sting will team with Darby Allin one more time to take on The Young Bucks. Sting and Darby’s AEW World Tag Team Titles will be on the line as well. It appears that Revolution is going to close out with a title match, but it won’t be that one.

The fact that Sting’s final match may not main event Revolution is puzzling. Tony Khan picked the North Carolina venue just because of the significance it holds with Sting’s career.

AEW Revolution will go live on pay-per-view at 8:00 PM EST. SEScoops will have full coverage of the event, and you can check out the final lineup here:

Sting’s Wild Retirement Match

In the end, Sting’s retirement match was the main event of the Revolution pay-per-view. This was quite a wild match, and you can read more about it here.

Ricky Starks’ AEW Contract: Addressing Free Agency Reports

Ricky Starks hasn’t been around AEW television for a minute, and he hasn’t wrestled either. The fact is that he’s not booked for AEW Revolution tonight, and questions about his contract status are everywhere.

It seems that any report about Starks being a free agent is jumping the gun. Absolute is still All Elite, according to SRS.

AEW Revolution is tonight, live on pay-per-view! We will have coverage here at SEScoops, and you can get more information about the event here!

Ricky Starks Free Agency Report

On March 2, internet rumors surfaced suggesting that Ricky Starks was a free agent and his AEW deal had expired. Sean Ross Sapp noted on Fightful Select within AEW and was informed that such claims were unfounded.

Additionally, sources close to Starks confirmed that his contract remains intact. He is still with the company, so Ricky isn’t leaving Tony Khan’s company just yet.

Starks has not competed in AEW since he and Big Bill lost the AEW Tag Team Titles to Sting and Darby Allin. Details regarding his absence or the duration of his contract remain undisclosed. Nonetheless, as of now, Starks remains part of the All Elite roster.

Ricky Starks’ WWE Connections

Starks is still good friends with Cody Rhodes. He was spotted with the American Nightmare at the Royal Rumble last year, so obviously, he is welcomed backstage. His current contract situation is keeping him from WWE, but there is also no guarantee that he would make the jump if given the opportunity.

SEScoops will have continued coverage of Ricky Starks, and everything else going on in the pro wrestling world. Keep checking back for more updates.

Trish Stratus Eyes WWE Money in the Bank in Toronto For Possible Retirement Match

Trish Stratus’ WWE Hall of Famer status won’t keep her out of the ring. She has returned on a couple of occasions, with her latest run being a lengthy one, where she participated in many firsts for her career, including getting drafted to the RAW brand. Although she is out of action, there is always the possibility that she may return.

With Sting retiring at AEW Revolution, the pro wrestling world is seeing some huge names hang up their boots for the last time. It appears that Trish Stratus may have eyes on another retirement of her own.

Trish Stratus May Return

Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus’ feud dominated WWE television for several months, culminating in a steel cage match at WWE Payback. That marked Stratus’ final bout with the company for now, as the match ended with Zoey Stark turning on her mentor Trish as well.

Trish Stratus, expressing her openness to another comeback, shared her thoughts on the idea of a potential last match during an interview with Gorilla Position. While contemplating various scenarios for her next wrestling match, she reflected on the possibility of staging it in her hometown of Toronto, particularly with Money in the Bank scheduled for the city in 2024.

“Would I welcome another match in Toronto? Absolutely. For like, perhaps the final one? Yeah. We had a retirement match. Is this the post-retirement, retirement match? Maybe, in Toronto.”

The 15th edition of the Money in the Bank event is scheduled for Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Trish Stratus on her Possible WWE Return

Stratus weighed different options, considering her unfinished storyline with Zoey Stark and envisioning a matchup with WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley due to their contrasting sizes.

“It’s another thing to put on — I don’t know. Maybe. Do I have an unfinished story with Zoey (Stark)? I sure do. So there’s a lot of things. There’s a lot of talent that I look at too that I’m like, I would love to get in the ring with, let’s say, Rhea Ripley for example.”

Stratus, who known for her petite stature, highlighted her willingness to embrace her size difference in the ring, particularly referencing Ripley’s match with Raquel Rodriguez as an example.

“So people, when they meet me, they’re like, ‘Oh my God, you’re so small.’ This is part of my thing, right? I’m just little Trish Stratus but you know, when we saw that match with Raquel (Rodriguez), that’s what I love. I love playing up to that, right?”

Exclusive Insight On Trish Stratus’ WWE Return

WWE’s road to WrestleMania can always bring back a legend like Trish Stratus. That being said, there isn’t anything concrete that would suggest that her return is going to happen at this time.

I asked around about Trish Stratus’ possible WWE return, and I was told that she is always trying to pitch things for herself to do around WrestleMania. We will have to see when WWE uses her next, but her story is likely far from closed at this point. They might just have something for her to do at Money in the Bank in Toronto, which would be a very fitting end to her career.

SEScoops will have continued coverage of this story, and so many more. Please keep checking back for more details.

Virgil’s Final Secret: WWE Legend’s True Age Revealed After Hiding It For Decades

The world lost a true legend when Virgil passed away. Fans thought that they knew the man, but even after his passing, he continues to blow our minds with his ability to work.

In a surprising turn of events, wrestling fans were left astounded after a revelation regarding the age of former WWE wrestler, Virgil, emerged on Twitter. It turns out that he was over 10 years OLDER than everyone thought, a facade he kept up for years. The world thought he was 61, but it was more like 72.

Virgil’s True Age

The revelation came to light when the popular wrestling review channel, OSW review wrote, “I just found out I got worked by Virgil! He told everyone his birthday is June 13, 1962 but his REAL birthday is April 7, 1951! Hastily re-editing the next OSW. Even after passing, he’s still working. God bless you, Virgil.”

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com tweeted, “I confirmed with Virgil’s management team that this is accurate. Virgil was actually 40 when he won the Million Dollar Title in 1991. What a worker. Rest in Peace.”

This tweet sparked a wave of reactions from fans, and there were plenty of jokes. Many were outright astounded that Virgil kept this act up for so many years, and nobody thought otherwise.

The revelation of Virgil’s real age left fans in disbelief, with many expressing shock at how effectively Virgil had kept this information hidden for so long. Sapp echoed this sentiment in his subsequent tweet, stating, “Like… Nobody even SUSPECTED IT.”

Remembering Virgil

While the wrestling community mourns the loss of Virgil, who passed away recently, this unexpected revelation adds another layer to the enigmatic persona of the wrestling legend. As fans continue to process this revelation, it serves as a reminder of Virgil’s enduring legacy in the world of professional wrestling.

A GoFundMe has been created to help his family pay for funeral expenses. You may check out this link for more information.

Virgil already etched out a portion of pop culture for himself and his “Lonely Virgil” memes. Now, he has this mystery of his age to go along with his legend.

Sting’s Farewell: Tony Khan’s Efforts to Extend Career for Wembley Stadium AEW All In Event

Sting will wrestle the final match of his career at AEW Revolution. He will tag with Darby Allin against The Young Bucks with the AEW World Tag Team Titles on the line. That will be a huge moment in North Carolina, but is also something that Tony Khan may have wanted to stall a bit.

AEW already has another date booked for Wembley Stadium. It turns out that Tony Khan tried to convince Sting to prolong his retirement a bit so he could go out at the famous venue.

Tony Khan Wanted Sting To Stick Around

In a recent interview with PWI’s Collete Arrand, Sting revealed that Tony Khan expressed a desire to extend his career, possibly even seeing him retire at prestigious venues. However, Sting was mindful of the toll wrestling took on his body, especially with a new generation of talent waiting to make their mark. Despite the allure of prolonged success, Sting acknowledged the limitations of pushing his body beyond its capacities.

As he reflected on his journey, Sting experienced a range of emotions. While there was a sense of sorrow at the thought of leaving wrestling, there was also a profound sense of liberation. He recognized that it was time to bid farewell to professional wrestling, yet he remained open to embracing the next chapter of his life, whatever it may bring.

“It’s funny, because I was the guy who did not want to get into pro wrestling. I didn’t even know what pro wrestling was when I got started. But I ended up being a pro wrestler, and at the beginning, I was an introvert, the last guy that you’d want to get up there and entertain in front of hordes of people. But it blossomed into what it blossomed into. I’ve had a lot of fun. I’ve enjoyed the fans and cannot thank them enough.“

“After all of these years, having walked through the curtain thousands of times, I’m still a nervous wreck when I go out there, and it gets pretty overwhelming to try to perform at a high level at my age, even in a short match, even if it’s a six- or eight-man tag. Tony (Khan) was actually trying to get me to stay longer, maybe retire at Wembley. But it gets tougher and tougher every time you go out there, and you have all of these young guys who are ready to play—there’s only so far you can push it. It’s kind of sad, of course, but, at some point, you just have to do it. There’s a part of me that’s sad, but there’s another part of me that’s relieved. It’s bittersweet, but I’m looking forward to it.”

The pro wrestling world has spoken out in a big way to give Sting his flowers. You can find a ton of those responses and reactions to his retirement at the link below.

AEW All In London

All Elite Wrestling returns to Wembley Stadium in London, England on Sunday, August 25 for AEW All In London 2024. The pay-per-view event showcases top wrestlers of the current era. Tickets for this event are currently available for purchase.

That event will have some big matches, but Sting won’t be wrestling on the card.

SEScoops will have more information on this story as additional information is available.

New Evidence Emerges In Ashley Massaro’s WWE Sexual Assault Case

Content warning: Please note this report includes descriptions of sexual assault

Ashley Massaro’s case is getting even more attention, and this is thanks to recently-released documents that provides a lot more context and details about what allegedly happened during that WWE overseas tour.

At least five reporters received emails informing them about Freedom of Information Act responses awaiting them. These responses were related to the Naval Criminal Investigative Service investigation concerning a rape allegation made by former WWE performer Ashley Massaro in a 2017 affidavit. Now, the contents of that paperwork causing many to take a closer look at this troubling story.

Tragically, Ashley Massaro died by suicide on May 16, 2019, at the age of 39. Her death came as a shock to her fans and colleagues in the wrestling world. Her passing sparked discussions about mental health awareness and the pressures faced by individuals in the entertainment industry. Her story from that WWE tour in Kuwait also surfaced once again.

New Information

This affidavit about Ashley Massaro’s case was made public by her lawyer after her May 2019 death by suicide. Excluding the response letter, the document consists of 79 pages, including blank pages indicating redactions of entire pages or page ranges. All names in the file, including those of witnesses and investigators, are redacted except for Massaro’s.

Interesting enough, the file contains some new information, including corroborating details shared by both Massaro and WWE when she initially made the allegations in court in 2016 and 2017.

David Bixenspan was one of the reporters who received this information. He did not post the whole file, because detectives apparently didn’t properly redact the identity of one witness, but other details were revealed.

The NCIS file reveals crucial information in its midpoint, notably in the summary of the NCIS interview with the individual identified in Massaro’s medical records as the physician assistant who treated her.

According to the interview summary, “[Redacted] stated he recalled MASSARO complained of abdominal and pelvic pain.” Furthermore, “[Redacted] recalled that MASSARO was accompanied by a male civilian that he did not recognize, but he recalled someone in the clinic saying it was [redacted]. [Redacted] stated [redacted] seemed to be acting skittish and strange. [Redacted] described [redacted] as a [redacted] male, in his thirties, [redacted] hair, perhaps had a mustache, and was well built.” Notably, this description does not match anyone from the WWE entourage present at the time.

Additionally, the interview summary reveals, “[Redacted] stated that when he first saw MASSARO[,] he believed she was drowsy, but she was not falling asleep during conversation or slurring her words. [Redacted] recalled someone else working in the facility may have said that ‘she was high’ but [redacted] was uncertain. [Redacted[ stated he had little experience with people on drugs or alcohol, so he was not sure.” This information, although not surprising given Massaro’s past struggles with drug addiction, gains significance when considered alongside other details from the interview.

Additional Information

Post Wrestling also obtained this file, and their report highlighted the confusion surrounding the location of the alleged assault. Initially believed to have occurred at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Massaro’s medical records indicated she was treated at Camp Patriot, Aerial Port of Demarcation, Troop Medical Clinic, which is located 90 minutes away from the base.

An interview with the physician assistant who treated Massaro on June 25, 2019, stood out among the documents.

According to the newly-released document, the assistant had a vivid recollection of treating Massaro and provided a diagram of the facility’s layout and the location where he attended to her. He was called in on a Sunday to treat “a civilian” who complained of abdominal and pelvic pain, and that civilian was Massaro.

During the examination, the assistant noted Massaro was accompanied by a male civilian who “seemed to be acting skittish and strange” and didn’t match the description of any WWE personnel on the tour. He described the man as “in his thirties…perhaps had a mustache, and was well-built.”

Although Massaro appeared drowsy, she did not fall asleep or slur her words. However, someone in the facility questioned if she was high. The assistant was uncertain about this.

Despite concerns about Massaro’s state, she appeared lucid during the questioning portion of the exam and consented to a pelvic exam.

David Bixenspan also raised questions about the practice of conducting a pelvic exam given Massaro’s condition and the uncertainty surrounding her state.

There could be a lot more to this story as new information is made known. Sadly, Ashley Massaro is no longer around to tell her story. Through her passing, she has not been forgotten, and there are many who still want justice for whatever happened in Kuwait.

Dominik Mysterio’s Twitter Bombshell: Disdain for Non-Famous Airport Travelers

Dominik Mysterio is one of the most hated heels in WWE. He garners a genuine negative reaction whenever he’s on screen, and it seems that he’s not too keen on the public, either.

Rey Mysterio’s son has been a heel for a long time, and that doesn’t appear to be changing any time soon. He made sure of this by taking a big dig at anyone who is at the airport at the same time as he is.

Dominik Mysterio Speaks Out

Dirty Dom recently fired off a post on Twitter/X to let everyone know how he feels about those people who he passes at the airport who are not as famous as he is. He doesn’t care for them one bit, it seems.

The Judgment Day member jumped on social media, and he posted a very short statement. This declaration didn’t have any backstory, so we have no idea exactly why Dominik Mysterio feels like he does, but he still certainly doesn’t care for the people who he sees in airports.

I hate airport civilians with a passion.

Mysterio recently went to bat once again to back up that the boos he gets from WWE fans are authentic. WWE is not piping in the hatred that fans have for him, because you can’t make that kind of visceral reaction up.

Dirty Dom’s Road to WrestleMania 40

Dominik Mysterio was supposed to have a match at Elimination Chamber against Brock Lesnar. That contest could have been great to see, but Lesnar’s involvement in Janel Grant’s allegations were enough to nix that match. His WrestleMania 40 match against GUNTHER was also pulled.

Only time will tell where Dominik Mysterio is on the WrestleMania 40 card. He certainly won’t set on the sidelines with all the commoners if he has anything to say about it.

SEScoops will have continued coverage of the road to WrestleMania 40, and everything that will happen along the way.

Twitter Meltdown: Kevin Kelly Goes Off About Removal From AEW Commentary Amid Controversy

Kevin Kelly is recognized for his involvement with various wrestling promotions such as WWE, ROH, and NJPW. He recently sparked controversy through a series of posts following his replacement on AEW commentary. Needless to say, he’s not happy about how things went down, and he’s blaming someone very particular for this.

Kelly expressed frustration at being sidelined once more. He did so on Twitter/X, where he sent out some rather unhinged posts.

Kevin Kelly’s Twitter Rant

In his Twitter outburst, Kelly voiced feeling undervalued by AEW, linking his absence from Collision commentary to what he perceived as defamatory remarks made by Ian Riccaboni.

This all started when one fan tweeted out to say to Kevin, “I have always appreciated the lengths you go to to give a history and background of a match. Why are these two fighting? I feel sometimes that is lost by some of your brethren. You literally got me into NJ because you took the time to setup matches for someone who was new.” Kevin then said that he loves to do this for AEW, but he then had a follow-up post that raised eyebrows.

Kevin stated, “But the idea of what I bring to the table is lost there because Ian libeled me. So I sit on the bench, valued by my peers, waiting to get my number called.”

Additionally, Kelly asserted his abilities as a commentator, urging fans to seek confirmation from industry insiders: “I keep asking why but get pushed aside. It’s ok because there is no one better than me. Ask the ones that know and they’ll tell you.”

“Someone’s gonna be tweet deleting later,” one fan wrote.

Kevin responded promptly: “Why delete the truth? And who are you?” Undeterred, the fan fired back: “People delete tweets stirring up drama at their workplace when it’s not worth it!”

But Kevin stood his ground: “It’s worth it. I’m pushing for action and conversation regarding what happened.”

Then, another user chimed in with a more pointed critique: “Kevin, a lot of things about how you handled this are baffling, but the most annoying is that you haven’t said which of Ian’s comments are libel. Can you at least clarify that? Because the ones I saw all pertain to statements you’ve made publicly, all which can be verified.”

Kevin took a moment to respond: “When you go out of your way to intentionally mischaracterize my raising awareness of the global horrors of child trafficking to a fringe conspiracy theory that everyone knows is bullsh*t in order to hurt my career and standing in the industry, that at the very least is libelous.”

What’s Next

We will have to see what happens in this situation. We did not have Kevin Kelly going on a rant on the morning of AEW Revolution on our bingo card, but then again, you never know what can happen in the pro wrestling world.

You can check out the AEW Revolution 2024 card below. We will have more updates as they are made available here at SEScoops.

Thank You, Sting: Pro Wrestling World Celebrates Icon’s Final Match at AEW Revolution

Sting is set to wrestle his final match at AEW Revolution tonight. He is walking into the match as 1/2 of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, and there is a big question about whether he will retire a champion. Win or lose, The Icon’s career is still being celebrated in a big way.

AEW Revolution will likely be main evented by The Young Bucks vs Sting and Darby Allin for the Tag Team Titles. The match will be a historic one in a treasured venue as well. The event will take place at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina, making it AEW’s inaugural pay-per-view event in the state of North Carolina.

The pro wrestling world was shocked at first to see Sting arrive in AEW. He doubled down on that shock when he started competing at such a high level for Tony Khan’s company. He has not lost a match yet, and AEW Revolution will be his final chance to perform in a pro wrestling ring.

The match itself will be historic, but the after-match speech will also likely be very emotional. We can only imagine what kind of tributes will pour out after the match, but so many have already contributed with their own tributes.

You can check out some of the best Sting tributes we could find (so far) in the space below. SEScoops will have continued coverage of the event for any further developments prior to Sting’s last match.

Tiffany Stratton Takes Center Stage: WWE Anticipating Growing Fan Support

WWE called up a few NXT Superstars over the last twelve months, but few have made an impression like Tiffany Stratton. At this point, fans can’t wait to see her do her thing, and WWE could have big plans for her as well.

Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Main Roster Reception

Sean Ross Sapp noted on Fightful Select that Tiffany Stratton and Naomi were initially allocated two segments for their match but ended up occupying a total of nine minutes, encompassing entrances and the match’s conclusion, including commercial breaks.

We previously reported that this match needed to be trimmed down due to The Rock’s segment going so long. That was not in the plan, but they made things work.

The report also noted that Tiffany Stratton’s reception and reactions have been a topic of conversation within WWE circles. This has certainly been noticed by the office, as Stratton continues receiving great responses.

While her responses have garnered surprise from some, there is an increasing anticipation for them leading into future shows. At this point, they are ready for Stratton’s reception, and it is also somewhat expected.

What’s Next For Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Stratton is a former NXT Women’s Champion, and she only lost that belt because Becky Lynch needed a run with the title. She had a breakthrough performance at the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble, where her #29 entry marked her main roster call-up. She also impressed a ton of fans with her stay in the Elimination Chamber in Perth.

Now that Stratton is on the main roster, it appears that it could be Tiffy Time a lot more often.

SEScoops will have continued coverage of Tiffany Stratton’s career, and everything else in the pro wrestling world. Keep checking back for more updates.

How WWE Made Up For The Rock SmackDown Segment Going Way Over Time

The Rock is back in WWE, and he’s getting a tremendous amount of heat. Never to be beaten, WWE fans also have figured out a new way to let him know how much they care, while bringing back an old favorite chant.

Sean Ross Sapp noted on Fightful Select that, during The Rock and Roman Reigns segments, blackouts and muting occurred due to the presence of “Die Rocky Die” signs and chants. Additionally, a sign referencing “Rock shops at BALCO” was removed. BALCO, a business implicated in a sports steroid scandal in the 2000s, was the subject of this sign.

The Rock’s segment with Roman Reigns exceeded its allotted time by over ten minutes. As a consequence, Naomi’s entrance and other elements were omitted from the broadcast.

Die Rocky Die

As we previously reported, Die Rocky Die also trended on social media. This was quite a shock, and the fact that WWE and FOX censored the sign and chant means that fans will probably just keep doing it.

This fan chant is a throwback, but a lot of things have changed since the late 90s when it was somewhat acceptable to chant that at Dwayne Johnson in WWE.

What’s Next For The Rock

WrestleMania 40 night one will see The Rock and Roman Reigns team up against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in tag team action. If the heels win, then it will be Bloodline rules for the Undisputed Universal Title match at WrestleMania’s second night. If Cody and Seth win, then the Bloodline will be barred from ringside.

The Rock is certainly getting a lot of heat, and we are here for it. Hopefully, fans know it’s all in good fun, but any chant that wishes death upon someone could be taken seriously.

SEScoops will keep our eye on this story, and everything else on the road to WrestleMania. Only time will tell what fans come up with next, and how much of it will need to be censored.

Jeff Hardy Has Slow Process To Endure Before AEW In-Ring Return After Injury

Jeff Hardy and Sammy Guevara’s match on Rampage last week didn’t end the way anyone wanted it to. Guevara accidentally landed on Hardy’s face off a top rope move, and controversy was sparked from there. Now, we have a bit of an update on Jeff’s status.

AEW had to switch around plans for Jeff Hardy after that injury spot. It was reported that he did not sustain a concussion, but that broken nose still wasn’t a great thing at all. Matt Hardy has another look at the situation from his own point of view.

Jeff Hardy Update

During a recent episode of Matt Hardy’s Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, he opened up about his brother’s condition. He said that Jeff broke his nose, and he’s getting some tests done now.

The process is not a fast one, and Jeff Hardy will be out of action until he gets a green light from the doctor. Now, it is a waiting game at this point.

“Obviously, Jeff’s nose, as I said, it was broken, had a couple little breaks in it. He’s getting some tests done on his sinuses to see how his sinuses are doing. It’s not a fast project. These things move slow, but we’re just trying to make sure his health is first and foremost and putting that above everything else. So that’s the main thing kind of to update on the status of him.”

The Footage Went Viral

That spot went viral, as fan footage of the match spread online in a hurry after Guevara’s knee landed on Hardy’s face. That was not the way that spot was supposed to end at all. Now, Jeff is out of action.

Sadly, AEW issued a bunch of takedown notices for any video that leaked of Jeff Hardy’s injury. They are known to do that, and they struck again with DCMA takedowns.

SEScoops will have continued coverage of this story, and many more in the pro wrestling world. We will have to see how long Jeff Hardy is out of action, but fans are not 100% thrilled about the circumstances.

Sting Reveals Thought Process Before Dropping From Rafters During Final AEW Appearance Before Retirement

AEW fans were surprised to finally see Sting do his famous entrance from the ceiling during his final appearance on AEW Dynamite. He will wrestle for the final time at AEW Revolution on March 3rd.

The throwback entrance on AEW Dynamite was a fitting way for Sting to wrap up his in-ring career. He hadn’t done that stunt for a long time, and greatly nixed it after Owen Hart’s passing when he died doing a similar stunt.

Sting Opens Up About The Stunt

Sting opened up about bringing back that lost entrance as he spoke to ESPN. The 64-year-old Hall of Famer explained to the outlet what went through his head when he did that entrance one final time.

“You climb and step over that rail, and it’s like, ‘It’s time to let go now. I used to say my sphincter muscle gets very tight in those moments. And it does. It can be scary. I had one little pang when I was up there. It was like a 30-second pang when I realized I’m getting ready to do this here again.

“We’re having this casual conversation. ‘All right, you ready to go?’ I’m ready. Let’s go.”

Tony Khan received permission from Dr. Martha Hart before they did this stunt with Sting. Of course, Owen Hart tragically lost his life in 1999 at WWE Over the Edge when a repelling spot from the rafters went wrong.

Paul “Butcher” Vachon Passes Away At 86-Years-Old

Paul “Butcher” Vachon passed away at the age of 86. He was a pivotal figure in the legedary Vachon wrestling dynasty,

Throughout his illustrious career, Vachon left an indelible mark on the wrestling world, both as a competitor and a promoter. His cause of death has not been noted at this time.

Losing The Butcher

The wrestling community mourned Vachon’s loss after pro wrestling journalist Pat Laprade announced his passing on February 29. Laprade, a close friend of Vachon’s, fondly recalled his contributions to the sport and extended condolences to his wife Dee and family.

Sad news. Paul ‘The Butcher’ Vachon died last night at the age of 86 years old. Former AWA tag team champ, Grand Prix Wrestling promoter and WWE wrestler, he had a great career and became a friend of mine over the years. My sympathies to his wife Dee and his family.

Butcher Vachon’s Life

Born in 1937, Vachon hailed from a wrestling lineage that included his sister Vivian Vachon and his adoptive daughter Luna Vachon.

Teaming up with his brother, Maurice “Mad Dog” Vachon, he achieved remarkable success in the ring and behind the scenes, particularly in their native Canada where they promoted Grand Prix Wrestling in Montreal, Quebec.

His life was marked by resilience, as he courageously battled cancer on multiple occasions, undergoing surgery to remove a tumor from his skull in March 2023.

Despite the challenges he faced, Vachon found joy in his personal life, celebrating significant milestones such as his 30th wedding anniversary with his devoted wife Dee in September of the previous year.

As the wrestling community pays tribute to Paul “Butcher” Vachon, his impact on the business as a whole and the lives he touched will continue to be remembered. RIP.

“Die Rocky Die” Trends On Social Media After The Rock’s Explosive WWE SmackDown Segment

The Rock knows how to get under fans’ skin, and he went all out with his heel work on the road to WrestleMania 40. Now, it seems that the fan outrage has carried over into bringing an old phrase back for a new era.

Following WWE SmackDown’s March 1st episode, a peculiar trend emerged: “Die Rocky Die.” Now that phrase is blowing up social media after WWE censored a fan sign during the show.

Die Rocky Die

Social media buzzed with reactions after the broadcast momentarily blacked out to avoid displaying a fan’s sign bearing the contentious phrase “Die Rocky Die.” Some users speculated it was merely a mistranslation of “The Rocky The” in German, prompting amusement rather than offense. Needless to say, fans were talking.

However, the incident stirred discussions about censorship and support for The Rock. While many fans expressed disbelief at the sign’s presence, others highlighted the ongoing efforts to stifle such sentiments. As we reported last night, that “Die Rocky Die” sign was the reason why SmackDown was blacked out a few times during the segment.

Overall, the trending topic sparked a mix of confusion, humor, and scrutiny, demonstrating the unpredictable nature of live television and fan interactions. We will have to see if fans will start bringing back that throwback phrase, because it was one of the first negative responses in the 90s that The Rock received from the crowd to really spark his heel turn.

What’s Next For The Rock in WWE

The Rock’s segment on SmackDown this week went way over time. I was told that he went over by “A LOT.” That being said, the company did not include any photos of him on the company’s website for their SmackDown gallery. That is very interesting considering the fact that he was on television for around 20 minutes.

If anything, now that WWE fans know that the company doesn’t want them to say “Die Rocky Die,” it kind of gives them a brand-new reason to dust off that old chant and sign.

SEScoops will have more coverage of The Rock’s road to WrestleMania 40, no matter what fans think of it.
